Nice stay
Nice quiet location. Friendly staff. Stayed here twice during my visit to Germany.
The lehel area was very nice and quiet. Walkable to the old town. Older building but comfortable.
Easy parking. Walkable to dining and shopping options.
15/20 min walk to Christmas markets, just perfect. Staff was so helpful finding places to grab a bite nearby. Very quiet location, perfect for families.
No Frills Hotel for a good nights rest
A lovely little place to rest and recover once you have landed in Munich just a short 10 min tram ride from the main station. Breakfast is excellent and the staff are very friendly.
Checking in was easy, rooms were clean, and breakfast was delicious.
Excellent hotel! Amazing staff! Definitely would stay again!
Nice place but a bit far from downtown
Excellent service and fantastic breakfast. very friendly
Nice facilities, good breakfast, walkable to old town and many sights, very close to tram and subway stops, quiet at night.
Our room was very comfortable and the hotel is conveniently located about 5 minutes from a U-Bahn station. There are several restaurants nearby. The breakfast was very good, with a lot of variety.
I recommend this hotel.
The room was large enough for our family of four. The hotel was very clean and centrally located and the staff members were very friendly and accommodating. We stored our luggage there the day we checked in and out which was very helpful. The breakfast was delicious and the staff members that prepared it were very attentive. I would definitely recommend this property.
A nice stay in Munich - walkable to Old Town
I needed a bare-bones room for my son and I - and this had two separate bedrooms (each with a twin bed) so it worked out fine. It also had a sleeper in the living room that we didn't need - showers in each room but only 1 toilet - off the living room, so that was a little odd to have two showers and only one true toilet. Overall I'd stay again. The room had no view - but I did get another room for my daughter and her husband - that had a great view and was also a nice 'single' room with a full bed.
Friendly staff and clean hotel.
Clean hotel in a quieter part of the city. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Hotel slighlty dated but did not affect our stay at all. Breakfast was good and the hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the old town and 2 minute walk to the Englosh Gardens. I would definately stay here again.
Very accommodating and friendly staff from the reception right to the cleaning lady.
Great little hotel!
This is a very cute hotel within walking distance to the center of Munich. Close to metro and great location! Several restaurants within walking distance. They do not have a restaurant or bar attached to the hotel, unfortunately. There is no A/C but we visited in mid-October so leaving the window open made it comfortable but the noise of the tram and church bells require some earplugs. We received a room on the top floor which had amazing views of all the churches in Munich as well as the Alps (on a clear day). The reception staff was very nice and helpful, albeit a bit cold but that is the German way so it was nice! :) They do have an elevator but you are still required to go up/down some stairs, I wouldn't think it is very handicapped friendly, but we are not so I'm not sure if they can accommodate anyone in a wheelchair, from another entrance perhaps? But I didn't see one. My only real complaint (and it is so tiny, we really enjoyed our stay) was that the daily cleaning crew did not restock the instant coffee. I did ask the reception desk on my way out one morning and they did make sure it got restocked as well as leaving a bottle of water, which was very nice. This is a great hotel for the price if you want to stay close to the attractions but far enough away that you don't 1. spend an arm and a leg and 2. aren't on top of the attractions.
Only issue is that the heaters would not work. It was early October and getting a little chilly. After speaking to the front desk I got the impression that they were not yet ready to power up the steam fed radiators. For $385 a night, I think they should have.
Clean, good location, but bed very uncomfortable and floor fan only on hot night in stuffy room.
Perfect weekend spot and so close to the English Garden
The breakfast was excellent!! We had it two days in a row. Authentic German food! Room was clean and comfortable. Shower was tight but hot water with great pressure! Staff was very helpful.
Cerca de una U . Cómodo , recomendable
Good location in a quite area. Breakfast had plenty of chooses and nice hostess. Room we had was on top floor and good size with couch. Front desk staff were a bit ackward.
Munich away from the crowds
We had a great three day stay here. The property is so cute and clean ! It was a sweet neighborhood with shops , cafes, and restaurants to choose from. While the property Does have an elevator, it is not handicap accessible. You must navigate entry floors, and a flight up to the elevator and then a flight down to your floor. I use a cane and was able to handle it all. But definitely not wheelchair accessible. Also, the property offers a beautiful breakfast buffet, great for your big eaters. We are both small bowl of oats people, so it was too much for us to enjoy. There is a well stocked vending machine as well. A beautiful highlight is that it is just blocks from the area in The English Gardens where the surfers gather ! Definitely check them out.
Property was clean and in good condition. Front desk was of great help. Parking is public on the street and caused us some stress although after driving around for a while we did eventually found a spot. One recommendation would be for the hotel to communicate other options & locations of parking ramps, etc. We had the breakfast one morning and it is wee done. You can tell the breakfast staff really cares about their service. Nice hotel, good location, definitely would stay again. PS - check out the surfers in the park 2-3 blocks away.
Good location to transit
Nice hotel in walking distance to a lot of popular spots in Munich. Would definitely stay here again!
The staff were very helpful. Room and bathroom were very clean. Just a little warm at night. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast was wxcellent
Recently refurbished rooms so fresh and clean. Easy walking distance to Marienplatz and central Munich.
Very good service. Needed some laundry and they had it back to us in several hours. It was a warm time of year and the open windows and fan were not enough to cool the room at night. Just be advised if you are people Reno lime cooler temps to sleep. Very good location & quiet overall.
It’s clean, within walking distance from the Mariannenplatz. I will definitely stay here again.
We had a wonderful stay here. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Great breakfast, great location for downtown
Very convenient location. But there was no AC, challenging to find parking spot.
Nice place, nice location.
El hotel súper bien ubicado, cerca caminando de las zonas más lindas de la ciudad, lo volvería a usar siempre que vaya a Múnich.
Our room(s) for 3 people weee more than large enough. We had two large rooms and only needed one of them. Bathroom was nice with a large shower. We were awoken by construction noise on our last morning there, but otherwise it was very quiet. Lovely proximity to Englischer Garten and surfing spot!
Great location, the one thing we didn’t like was there was no air conditioning so the rooms were hot. They provided fans but it didn’t help much in the July heat
The staff was friendly, the breakfast option was good as well. Parking around the location was not difficult. The room was large enough for a family of 4. The only issue we had, but this is coming from an American used to A/C, there was no A/C. We did sweat at night. 1 fan that was provided, was not enough. Even with that, we would stay there again.
Great hotel
Clean hotel, friendly staff, definetly will stay here again.
The staff were not friendly at all, beds were too short, and our room was not serviced couple days. Also, we got ripped off for laundry service, charged us 79 eru for eight T-shirts, eight socks and eight underwear.
Hotel Adria Munchen was a wonderful place for me and my daughter to stay. Our room was clean, quiet and had a great view. Breakfast was really good , the location was great , and the staff was excellent . We highly recommend Hotel Adria!!!
Parking is horrible
Clean rooms, no AC so beware if traveling during summer months
It was wonderful
Easy location, good breakfast
Specially booked for the washer/dryer availability but this was an error! However reception did provide a wash without charge as compensation. Breakfast at hotel was really good and local area good for Metro access and restaurants.
The room was very plain, nothing on walls, old carpet, and no view. There was no parking. It could definitely use remodeling.
Lovely bird song outside window, generous bathroom. Elevator stopped between floors, so had to haul suitcases up or down stairs.
Really good hotel within easy reach of the centre
All good
Great location for our sightseeing adventures.
The stay was good! We did pay for a 4 adult room and 1 of the beds was just simply some pillows really close to the ground. Some of the staff was superb and very welcoming others not so much. Overall it is in a very safe neighborhood. Very walkable to a lot of restaurants downtown Munich. A true 3 star hotel.
Definitely missing A/C when it's hot outside.
If you want to stay in an understaffed, overpriced dirty hostel, this is the place for you! We found multiple hairs & stains on our bed linens and when brought to their attention we were told we could go downstairs to get clean sheets and change them ourselves (which we did.) No housekeeping service arrived the next day so we were again told to go get our own clean towels. Both times we contacted front desk the staff person advised they were the only one working in the afternoon & night, therefore they could not remedy problems. TV in one of our two rooms was precariously sat at the head of one of the beds, making it unviewable. The basic set up was similar to a small dorm room with little space to store luggage. AC was nonexistent. Coffee in the breakfast room was good & staff there kept that area clean and the mediocre food replenished. Highly disappointed with our 4 night stay.
Great location for tourists. Safe neighborhood. Walk to many sights. Pleasant staff. But, room & particularly bathroom was difficult to ventilate; it was generally overly warm & humid. Beds only OK, not many amenities, but good value for price. Would stay there again.
Room was small for three people. The roof was slanted and there was a post in the middle. Both encumbered movement. We knock our heads often. In addition the bathroom was tiny
Hotel staff was friendly, helpful, and could speak English. The location of the hotel is just a short walk to the old town and to a convince store, making it a great central spot for our vacation. Street parking was limited but with everything so close walking wise, it didn't matter. The breakfast offered was a nice spread and was a pleasant way to start our day. I would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Munich for vacation.
Fantastic!
The location was convenient and the staff were very kind and helpful.
Great location. Wonderful breakfast every morning. The elevator situation is a bummer if you have heavy bags, but the staff was helpful in carrying things if needed.
After travelling in the cold whole night, was grateful that the hotel allowed early check in at around 8am when the official check in time is 3pm. Noisy at night with limited dinning options after 6pm. There is tram and underpass nearby but not that close especially during thunderstorm.
Being around the corner from the English Garden and within easy walking distance if Marienplatz was wonderful. Great front desk staff!
Lovely older city hotel, beautifully maintained. Desk staff most helpful!
Booked the room for 3 people - had more than enough room. Separate toilet and bathroom also make room sharing easier. Great location. Very pleased with our stay
This is a clean, quiet, safe hotel. It was a spacious room for Europe. Only complaint would be the stairs. It says there is an elevator and there is but you have to take several steps to get to it. Six steps to get to reception, 10 to get to the elevator then stops between floors so you have to go up or down 10 stairs to your room. So if you are like me who travels heavy it’s a pain with suite cases. It was very clean and breakfast was good.
Excellent place to stay
Hotel ADRIA Munich - Great Choice and Location.
Friendly and efficient check in. Would stay again.
Clean, good breakfast daily, quiet residential area, grocery and pharmacy on the same street. Easily walkable to the city center such as the Residenzplatz. Don’t expect the hotel staff to be overly friendly or help with any recommendations. They did however arrange the taxi to the airport.
My family (4 of us) stayed here for 3 night in December. The hotel was sufficient. We had a junior suite which was first floor tucked in a corner off the lobby which turned out to be quite convenient. The beds were bigger than my American standards we’re expecting of European comfort. On the end of the same street is a Cafe we went to daily and sometimes twice daily called Cafe Lehel. Very nice to have close to accommodations. There are also a couple of good German restaurants within a couple of blocks. The walk to Old Town was took a bit. We were walking in snowy and icy conditions which probably made this seem longer than it was. The tram is not all that convenient either to old town, especially in bad weather since the most convenient stop is above ground by Maxmonument (¿sp?). The 21 takes you one stop before you need to get back off saving only minimal effort over walking, the 19 takes you a but closer but still several minutes walk to get to Marienplatz. Overall good value especially if weather is pleasant.
It was in a quiet neighborhood, but very close to the underground, or just a nice walk to the Marienplatz. Room was very spacious and hotel was very clean. Good breakfast options.
This was a great choice for our family and our needs. Great space in room, adequate breakfast and friendly helpful staff. Recommend
Weekend break in Munich
The hotel is in a great location , less than 5 mins walk from Lehel U bhan station. 10 min walk to hofbräuhaus in Platzl. Excellent breakfast and 24hour reception, would reccomend for couples
Very good hotel!!
Very nice small hotel, staff super friendly, very good location
5 stars
Excellent hotel...thoroughly enjoyed our trip
Very good staff. Check in people were nice, breakfast staff did an excellent job. Food was great. Close to the Lehel train station. Five minute walk to the English Gardens. Some steps involved at the hotel. Need to walk up some steps to get to the elevator. No AC in rooms.
Excellent location! Friendly Staff!
Staff was exceptional with directions and maps of transportation and local restaurants. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. No A/C but room fans did the job in September.
A very interesting hotel, took me back to when I travelled in the eighties! Have to turn your key in at the desk when you go out; 24 hour concierge. Not accessible if you cannot climb stairs; the elevator is the size of a peanut and stops between the levels that the rooms are on. Excellent breakfast though, and everything clean and well ventilated. Also close to many attractions and the underground. Would certainly stay there again!
The staff of the hotel was SUPER friendly. The complimentary breakfast was AMAZING as well.
Location is perfect
The team was very friendly and accommodating as we stored our luggage all day before check in - the inconvenience was no elevator and stairs were difficult for me and luggage - it was clean and they had nice maps of Munich and recommendations for restaurants nearby that were great.
We arrived here with 32°C outside and scorching heat in Munich. We were disappointed that there was no air conditioning in the hotel but still we had amazing sleep at night because of the fan they provided. The staff was amazing and it's at perfect location. Close to U Bahn and tram, you can get to any place without walking much
Great location and very pleasant rooms
Our room was basically a hot attic. I know that it was the big city of Munich, but was overpriced for what was provided. Fortunately they provided fans which not only brought in cool air through open windows at night but neutralized the street noise in the morning. I will not stay here again.
Fantastic in every way. Superb staff. So quiet despite being in the center of town.
3.0 or 3 star property. Clean. Dont expect a lot of amenities.
Great value, clean, very close to all attractions
Excelente
Estivimos 2 noches con la familia, todo en orden, habitacion grande y cerca de lugares hermosos
We staying here for 4 days. We liked everything about it. Close walk to marianplatz, staff great and breakfast excellent.
Lehel is killer and so is this hotel, including the breakfast!
Good functional hotel is located in the elegant Lehel district of Munich, a 4-minute walk from the English Garden.
Great location
Very clean room. Great location. Within walking distance of Altstadt and the Englischer Garten. The hotel provides a parking pass for street parking for $8/night.
The hotel is extremely clean and the staff spoke English and were very helpful. The only issue is the lifts do not stop on the floor of the rooms. So carrying heavy bags up and down stairs is a problem especially on hot days. The vicinity is quiet and there’s coffee shops and a really nice organic cafe a few steps away. The English Gardens are about 200 meters away. This was a big surprise for us…. To see surfers in the middle of Munich. The facility for surfing is an awesome spectacle. Awesome !!!
The place was excellent. They had a break down of the elevator when we got there but that wasn’t a problem as the staff pitched in and moved all our luggage to our rooms when checking in and moved the luggage to the street for our cab ride to the airport. The staff was helpful in so many ways they made it an outstanding stay.
Comfortable rooms and beds. Nice shower. Great breakfast. Staff very helpful. Easy to get to local transportation. Englisher park near by. Recommend walk to watch the surfers and grab a beverage and a bite on the terrace at Gold Bar. Our flight didn’t leave until 9 pm snd we were able to leave our bags at the hotel all day. We really appreciated this! No AC but the rooms were quite comfortable and we were able to get a nice breeze going through the windows
Very convenient location for the major old Town touring. The beds were hard. The main floor apartments have ac. Bathrooms were nice. Parking a pain. Have to search for street parking.
Excellent location great staff
Enough outlets to charge everything. Staff was really helpful. Elevator situation is not suitable for traveling with big luggage.
I loved my stay at The Adria! Gorgeous clean rooms, really friendly staff and the breakfast was fantastic! The elevator creeped me out a little bit because of the risk of opening the door if the elevator hadn’t been there yet, but it’s just an older style elevator and works just fine!

A basic hotel with everything you need for a comfortable stay. In a quiet location close to shops and various eating places. It's a short walk to the town centre. A great variety and array of foods for breakfast. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
