Disappointing
I live in Ecuador and was meeting a new friend in Crucita....For various reasons I thought a reservation might be prudent. Big mistake. No hot water, toilet did not flush well and spotty Wi-Fi at best. Did not have a printer to print out my itinerary so by the time I got to the hotel Breakfast was not included....Orbitz recommendation failed me!
Resort hotel without guests
For the first couple of days we were the only guests. The 4 bars an bad enoughd restaurant were closed, although the manager said we could get drinks by asking him. The pool was nice as was our room. We were offered another room when it started raining and found out it was because our room had some small leaks, which leads to the question as to why we were given the room in the first place. The leaks weren't bad enough to warrant moving. There was construction going on at the pool but not too bad. Owner speaks no English but Google translate helped. 10 minute walk to an open restaurant after 6 pm
Did the job.
Was convenient in regards to location working in with relatives accommodation nearby due to family wedding. When site address was entered into GPS we were taken to a different hotel. Staff were moderately helpful in finding us but spoke little if any English between them which made it difficult, especially when arriving late at night. The 'suite' we had was minimalist with no air conditioning, but had a fan. Electricity supply unreliable. Shower was more often just a trickle. Loud construction work woke us up early. No restaurant or breakfast available. Disappointing stay of three nights. Glad to leave.

The most important thing you should know about this place is that THEY HAVE NO IDEA THEY'RE LISTED ON HOTELS.COM Weird, right? That means that if you make a reservation here and then show up, like I did, you will be greeted with blank stares, and you might even be left homeless for the night. Pros: Comfortable bed Clean room Nice pool Close to the beach Cons: No record of my reservation (I mean, really.) Room didn't have partial ocean views, as described Some rooms don't have A/C Some rooms don't have TVs The 'hot' tub wasn't hot, and they said it takes 2-3 hours to heat up (God forbid they pre-heat it) Both the 'bar' and the poolside bar was completely empty - no stock. That could've been a really nice touch, but instead looked really bad being completely empty. The wifi password was confusing and could've easily given to us on a piece of paper to avoid confusion They're at the end of very long walk down the beach, though I suppose this could be either a pro or a con, depending on your perspective. Conclusion: This has the potentially to be a really nice hotel if they got their act together, but as it stands now, it's severely lacking and I highly doubt I'll be back (and I do come back, I'll be calling them directly).
I had a comfortable stay here. The A/C works well, and the Wi-Fi was sufficient for my needs. They have a pool and a bar (although I’m not sure how often the bar is open). You will have a key to your room, but to gain access to the compound you will need to ring the doorbell each time you come and go. My Spanish is limited, but I knew I had to pay cash upon arrival. I had a bad experience with a prior hotel, so I wanted a receipt showing that I paid cash. I was told that I couldn’t have a receipt (even after pointing to a receipt pad); but rather they gave me an invoice… fortunately I had no problems, so it was all good.
