Good place on a budget. Don´t expect too much

Not Good

The location was good very hard to find the picture in Hotels.com is from across the street … breakfast starts at 9 and couldn’t use any of my breakfast I paid for as my hours started early…. Mist places I have used in past breakfast starts at 7 not 9, the beds are super hard in my 5 day day stay only cleaned once … I ended up paying € 12 for city tax it was only me … very difficult to comunícate in English … and very very noisy at bedtime…the owner was very nice but that was all

A very pleasant stay

The stay was very enjoyable, the photos on the website are old and the hostel is not as new looking as in the photos. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room itself was comfortable and the hostel was very central to all the amenities. My only issue was that the street was very noisy, a lot of police car sirens and loud motorbikes late at night. I had earplugs which helped with the problem and I am sure that every hotel/hostel on the road has the same issues overall a very pleasant stay

enjoy stays in hostel！

First off, it is made clear in the description, but this is not a hotel with a full time reception. This did make check in and check out much harder as communication wasn't instant. To say the hotel has parking is basically saying that you can park a car in Palermo. I believe there is a valet parking facility around the corner but we struggled to get to it due to road closures. Room was very large and had good aircon and a spacious bathroom although the shower was not the best. Bed was comfortable. Now the tricky bit... Location.... Great for seeing the sites... Terrible for noise. We probably had it worse as our room overlooked the main road and we were there over a weekend, but the volume of noise throughout Saturday night was deafening. Groups shouting... Mopeds revving... Cars blaring out music... Was impossible to sleep much. Sunday was better but it's noisy from early morning. Perhaps different rooms don't have the same problem but it massively affected our opinion of the hostel.

It is noisy

It is noisy. We had to sleep with earplugs on, and they didn’t provide use clean towel everyday. No cleaning service at all.

Street noise was loud all night long. It sounded like the window was open even with ear plugs in. There was a terrible smell in the bathroom. The croissants at breakfast were delicious and the staff was pleasant.

I enjoyed my stay at Hostel Agata

Hotel or Hostel

Dishonest to trick people. Agata advertises itself as a HOTEL on the Internet. After booking, the confirmation mentions HOSTEL, without a reception, amenities such as a safe. In order to check in, you have to call. Nobody seems to be there permanently. And of course, you are being charged the entire stay, not just one night. I decided not to go there. I wonder how a respectable company like yours represents this site.

Parking was a hassle but the hotel is centrally located and walking distance to key sites. Agata was amazing!

Chambre propre et super bien placée, lit très dur

Chambre très mignone, très propre donnant non sur la route principale mais adjacente. Le Staff était super gentil et nous avons pu déposer Nos affaire en avance, visiter et avoir la chambre pour 14heures. La salle de bain était propre, très petite douche mais ça fait l'affaire. L'emplacement est génial ! En 3 minutes a pied vous êtes au centre historique. Il y a une petite rue pas loin avec pleins de restaus c'est super. Tout était très bien jusqu'à la tombée de la nuit. Le lit était horriblement inconfortable, très très très dur, et on entend tous les bruits du marché pas loin, la route, mais surtout le voitures avec les basses à fond toute la nuit. Pour 1 a 2 nuits ça va très bien, mais il est dur de dormir la nuit.

Vähän kälyinen hostelli, jossa välillä haisi tupakka, välillä kannabis - ei sentään huoneessa. Omistajan kommunikointityyli oli aika töksähtävä ja töykeä, vaikka asiat tulivatkin hoidettua. Huone oli siisti, ajoi asiansa, mutta aika mauton sisustus. Sijainti oli todella hyvä ja keskeinen. Aamiainen läheisessä baarissa kuului hintaan, ja oli yllättävän hyvä!

Struttura vecchia e in fase di ristrutturazione da evitare le camere con affaccio su via Roma che sono estremamente rumorose anche di notte. Rapporto qualità prezzo buona. Comodissimo per girare il centro storico di Palermo

Buena estancia, aunque ruidosa.

La estancia en Hostal Agata fue muy buena. Estaba muy limpio todo, tanto la habitación como el baño exterior (privado, pero fuera de la habitación en nuestro caso). Las dos mujeres que nos atendieron fueron muy simpáticas y hospitalarias. Estuvieron atentas a nuestras peticiones y pudimos contactar facilmente. En cuanto a la ubicación, es buena por la cercanía a los puntos de interés. No obstante, la ventana daba a una avenida muy ruidosa. Hasta altas horas de la madrugada pasaban coches y gente con música y gritando. Además, es complicado aparcar.

Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo

Ho passato due notti in coppia e mi sono trovato molto bene. Avevo bisogno soltanto di un posto per dormire, senza vivere troppo la camera, e ha rispettato le mie aspettative. Pulita e ordinata, personale molto accogliente e gentile, condizionatore. Unica pecca (ma non dipende da loro ovviamente) la strada è molto rumorosa e può disturbare chi ha il sonno leggero

Chambre propre, unique point positif. Communication inexistante avec la propriétaire (envoi de 2 sms restés sans réponse) Eclairage de bloc opératoire. Pas de wifi. Sdb sur le palier censée etre réservée à notre usage mais dont d autres personnes avaient la clés! Et par dessus tout, hotel ultra bruyant qui donne sur un boulevard donc impossible de dormir!

Très médiocre. Aucun conseil de l’hôtesse. Bruit infernal. Nuit et jour . A déconseiller formellement.

Muy buena ubicación, muy cómoda la habitación y excelente el trato de Ágata, el desayuno es básico pero está bien para arrancar el día Recomendable

Si puo' fare di piu'

Posizione centrale, comodo per muoversi a piedi e con i mezzi pubblici. Al primo piano di un palazzo, con ascensore e rampa, ma sconsigliato per chi ha problemi di deambulazione. Camera di dimesione decente, bagno piccolino, ma con tutto il necessario. La camera e il bagno erano puliti ed in ordine. Il frigorifero e l aria condizionata erano presenti. Letto piuttosto duro, forse troppo. La vera nota stonata e" il rumore che viene dalla strada, mancano i doppi vetri, che e" una delle piu" trafficate di Palermo. Vengono consegnate le chiavi di accesso, portone compreso, percui ci si muove liberamente. La colazione viene fatta nel vicino bar, 10 metri, con personale simpatico e una buona offerta di prodotti. Il personale si contatta ESCLUSIVAMENTE via telefono, anche per richiede il WiFi.

Stanza grande in pieno centro di Palermo. Pulizia perfetta. Colazione super fantastica ed abbondante. Signora cordiale e gentile.

Gerne wieder, in Palermo kann ich das Hostel empfehlen. Nettes Personal, gute lage um durch die stadt zu bummeln.

Très bien placé mais a éviter

Personnel sympa, c'est bien agrémenté, propre, ideal pour les photos de promotion.. Mais on n'est absolument pas isolé du bruit et de la lumière du jour, la base est de pouvoir dormir dans un hôtel, cela n'a pas été possible, où peut être 1h et 7h, sachant qu'à 7h30 démarre le chantier de rénovation en face. Je ne râle jamais mais là, ça n'a pas été du tout

Sicuramente ho fatto la scelta sbagliata, anche se la descrizione sul vs. sito non aiuta "Hotel, Hostel, bagno privato, 3 stelle e foto", dopo la prima notte insonne per il caos dalla strada e i disagi anche per un bagno minuscolo sul corridoio esterno alla camera, dove x andarci puoi incontrare clienti, personale ecc., siamo fuggiti in altra struttura e abbiamo salvato la vacanza.

La colazione è abbondante e varia, i dolci ottimi, il letto comodo, la biancheria pulita e cambiata quotidianamente. la posizione dell'hotel e molto buona, a piedi si può raggiungere sia la parte storica che la parte commerciale elegante della città.

Bellissima struttura al centro di Palermo negozi vicini ottima con mezzi di trasporto ottima colazione soprattutto la bella gente e la gentilezza e la cordialità dello staff e ringrazio tanto agata per la bella ospitalità nel suo ostello e per la pulizia della camera

Ti senti subito in famiglia vieni coccolato dalla proprietaria e da tutto il personale. Camere accoglienti pulite e confortevoli. La struttura é bella, ben curata e pulita. Stanze ampie, ben arredate e molto confortevoli.colazione appetitosa . Ritornerò ben volentieri,lo consiglio
