Dogs
There was a dog in the room next door. The dog whined the whole afternoon. I am allergic to dogs and cats. I have to get shots every week. The dog making the noise was the most annoying
Great location. Super nice staff. Clean
Parking fees absurd. One room with two cars with visiting daughter and self/wife. $25/car =$50 per day to park. Not clear upon check in. Any perceived value of staying more than wiped out by parking.
Great
Great hotel that is walking distance to Bank Of America stadium!
Great dining options within walking distance. Great location
Everyone was great from front desk, housekeeping to night staff. Friendly staff, clean hotel and feeling safe. Also suggestions on things close by are spot on.
Property was nice but the parking situation was a little much $50 parking
It is a very clean hotel and friendly staff for 4 family members in the weekend after Helene
Weekend Getaway
We enjoyed our stay, close to everything. The room and hotel were very clean. Friendly staff and great parking! We will be returning.
Great stay
Great service and great breakfast
It was good.
My second time staying here and the hotel was just as good as it was a year later .
.
Rooms are very nice and clean, but very expensive. Parking setup is horrible. Expensive to park in the hotel garage that isn’t even attached to the hotel. You have to get 2 parking slips each and every day from the front desk just to get in and out of the garage each and every time you come and go, very confusing and frustrating.
The room was great ! Restaurants and shopping were in walking distance. Staff was friendly!
Perfect stay for us, the room was a fantastic size, clean and comfortable. Staff super friendly.
Very close to dining and area attractions
When checking in the Staff (Tina) was so friendly and very helpful. Outstanding customer service
The associate at the desk 9/22/24 10:00am. Young lady was pretty rude about my check out. She argued with me about how many nights I stayed when I was showing her the documents. She also wanted to charge me extra for parking. When she finally seen it she stated you’re right without an apology. Other than that incident it wasn’t bad, but bad service can ruin a great business.
Had a great time #KeepPounding
Don't let yourself being mislead by the poor parking reviews. IT IS NOT TRUE, IT IS EASY, just follow instructions. The area is great, next to Whole Foods and another great variety of good restaurants. Room is spacious and very clean. Good kitchen area.
Terrence at check in was very helpful. Breakfast was a great bonus
Made a trip with elderly parents to visit NASCAR Hall of Fame (right next door). Easy walking/access to venue from hotel, easy in/out parking garage. Excellent service, staff, complimentary and hotel comps parking! Rooms were spacious and met every need. Easily accessible showers for disabled/elderly. Must stay location if you are in downtown Charlotte!
I will not be back! Sorry
Your breakfast was the worst. Sorry I expected more. If I come to stay there and it says breakfast included I expect scrambled eggs your sausage was terrible your bacon was terrible. I spent 80 dollars at other restaurants that I should’ve not had to do.
We loved the area and easy to get to Bank of America Stadium plus good breakfast and service
We will definitely come back
Staff is excellent. Hotel is perfect.
This was a fantastic stay! I got into town a day earlier than expected so I booked a room here as I had a room for the following night in a very nearby other hotel. Home2 Suites was not just $100 less for my night there than at their neighbors but Home2 blew the other hotel away in everyway and the parking was incredibly reasonable. Home2 is my recommendation to anyone staying in Uptown. I wish I had cancelled my other hotel and stayed at this one both nights!
I’ve stayed at a few hundred properties across the country and this one is mediocre. Came into town during a rain storm. Found other guest soaked outside on the street and able to enter without a key. Well, none of us checked in yet so that’s a problem. I told the other guest to wait and I’ll walk around the other side which had a phone and required a key. No one answered the phone, other guest joined in frustration unable to access hotel. Completely different experience to the Westin next door. Staff approached me and asked if I needed help. I told them I wasn’t staying there but they gave me a dryer path to Hilton through their garage. While calling the front desk a second time and at this point many guests are waiting, the phone fell off of the wall. Other guests seemed upset and I was soaked at this point so I Moses parted the sliding doors to get in. Did the same on the other side from inside to let others in too. This is weird, no one is here, you have to go upstairs to the second floor by slow elevator to check in. Go up stairs, all of us completely drenched. Check in has a line and a not so friendly attendant. Check in to my corner king size bed room. It’s a corner unit, good job, the bed is a queen size though, and wasn’t the room I selected in app on checkin based on floor level. Told front desk staff, he just said no it’s a queen and laughed at my high floor request. Weird it went through in the Hilton app a day before. All and all, a clean room and property.
Big rooms, clean, friendly staff, great location in downtown, safe, nice breakfast and pool area, reasonable price, would stay here again for sure!!
Convenient location. Friendly staff.
From before check in to breakfast, through out our stay, and check out the staff was amazing! The amazing man at breakfast was such a delightful person and super helpful! Will definitely stay again.
I brought my boyfriend for his birthday and everything from check-in to parking to check out everything was smooth and easy, the breakfast GOOD!!! Ask about the spinach tarts!! Overall we really enjoyed ourselves and will be back soon!!
Great location if you are working at the convention center or attending a sporting event! The room is huge and comfortable. The area around the hotel is an easy walk with tons of dining options.
Enjoyed our short 2 night stay. For travelers unfamiliar with the area, as we were, it’s a great location! The parking is a little confusing initially as is the lobby being on the 2nd floor, but once you catch on, easy to maneuver. Great breakfast included in the price. Very clean spacious rooms with comfortable beds.
Enjoyed this hotel. The staff was super nice & wanting to make accommodations for my toddler. They immediately offered her snacks upon arrival and waved at her often. It was quiet & checking out and checking in was fast especially for a game day weekend. Thoroughly enjoyed & will book again.
The parking is a little confusing, but overall the staff and room were awesome. Great view of the NASCAR Hall of Fame.
Good location
Excellent
Very nice hotel and great breakfast
Great hotel for the price. Clean rooms and property. Convenient location to the stadium and other attractions in the uptown area. Breakfast service is very good. Elevators can be slow at times
There was a dog in the room 2 doors down from us that yelped alot. If it is pet friendly maybe offering certain floors.
Breakfast was a great
Who makes the mattress?
The mattress was awesome for my back, what type of mattress do you purchase? Very Firm and comfortable
Nice uptown hotel
Nice uptown (downtown it is) hotel in Charlotte. Near everthing the area has to offer. Safe area.
Great experience. Walkable from so many places
Beautiful
Excellent
Great stay
Great stay. Clean, spacious rooms. Nice amenities. Great location. Good spread for breakfast as well. My only complaint about this place was the elevators were stupidly slow.
The staff goes above and beyond for the guests. Tina was wonderful and the guy at breakfast don’t remember his name. Very friendly staff and comfortable hotel.
Great location and very friendly staff.
Great stay.
Good location
A very nice hotel close of walking distance of restaurants
Good hotel
Gym was dirty and disorganized most of the time. Otherwise it was all good!
Love how quiet it is
Came for Copa America semifinal. Everything was great.
Great service
I really appreciated the fact that they could provide an early check in since I got to Charlotte in a overnight flight and was almost with no sleep. Bed could be a little better.
Everything was great with hotel and service, my only concern is the $25.00 per day parking fee. It seems excessive as a charge per night, honestly if my stay would have been more than overnight, due to the daily parking fee I would have selected another hotel with free parking or a single parking charges for entire stay.
Great hotel! Everyone was friendly. The location was amazing and the room was great.
Great
I didn’t like the $25.00 parking fee I had to pay nightly that I was unaware of.
Cooking for self
Some good , some bad
The hotel was clean , the location was great the staff was great , but the bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows were worse . Terrible pillows , bring your own pillows!!! They smelled like sweaty tshirts even with clean pillow cases they need to throw them out and get new better quality pillows. Also , the street noise was very loud even on the 4th floor , like the windows were open . They never had any pork bacon or sausage at the breakfast it was always turkey or chicken sausage /bacon . Not everyone wants to eat that .
nice hotel
Very nice hotel-spacious,clean convenient to downtown attractions. The room had a nice mini kitchenette with a good size refrigerator. People at the desk were very friendly and knowledgeable. We took a special liking to RiRi. The only thing we didn't like was the parking situation. The parking was close by but you had to take the elevator down and then take a different elevator up to the parking deck. We managed it all right but it would be more difficult for elderly or handicapped or families with children. As much as we liked the hotel I am not sure if we would stay again because of the parking situation.
Comfortable room with kitchen w/fridge, microwave
Comfortable room with kitchen w/fridge, microwave and cookware on demand.
A disappointing experience
The check-in went smoothly and I found staff friendly and helpful. The building and rooms were in good repair but several design flaws / omissions: 1. I requested the digital key at least 6 times and it never arrived - Samsung S24 Ultra Android. 2. The desk chair was not height adjustable and far too low to sit at the desk to work. 3. There was no Chromecast solution to let me watch my media accounts - poor these days. Competitor brands are offering it. 4. The TV channels resolution was not great on some channels. 5. The segments on the alarm clock display were not all working. 6. The bathroom mirror is a long way from where you stand to shave and with the light set above it does not illuminate you face. Not great. 7. Most of the days only disposable plates and plastic cutlery, and paper coffee cups were available. So not eco friendly - I wanted proper plates and cutlery which would be washed ang not go in the garbage. If these are the brand standards for a Home2, I don't think that I'd choose it again.
Close to everythin
Right across from NASCAR Hall of Fame. Parking was a parking garage where you needed to take an elavator down and then enter the building and the lobby was on the 2nd floor of the building next to the parking garage. Not bad, but a lot of shuffling if you have a lot of luggage. Overall, cveey walkable and room was clean and quiet.
The property is nice. It is close to the convention center and the light rail service. Right in between Whole Foods and CVS making it easy to stock the fridge and pick up items forgotten. The hotel does supply full size body wash, shampoo, hand soap and lotion. Housekeeping is great and kept up with towels and necessities that needed stocked. The place was clean and the employees friendly.
Comfortable bed and very convenient location for the convention I was attending.
Friendly staff, great location...will definitely stay there next year and recommend this hotel to friends for future...thank you!!
Very happy we choose to stay here
The hotel was great! It is very accessible to everything in the area which is the uptown. A lot of restaurants near the hotel that you can walk to. The only thing that i didn't like was the parking lot you have to pay extra for it. Which is 25 dollars per day, other than that was a great place to stay.
It’s very clear and good location
The accommodations were great. The hotel was close to the stadium where we going to for a sports event. We would definitely stay here a second time.
THEY HAD AN AWESOME BREAKFAST AREA WITH MANY DIFFERENT CHOICES AND FRESHLY MADE FOOD.
Very friendly staff; excellent breakfast; great location for exploring uptown Charlotte; proximity to Whole Foods.
Very nice hotel. Would stay again
Very relaxing, great area, whole foods being right there was CLUTCH!!
Staff was very helpful and professional. Parking was not difficult.
Great!
Great experience
The hotel was basic but met the need.
The hotel was well maintained and the room was very spacious.
Fun Trip!
Great room. Great location. Easy parking. Watched a great college championship baseball game. Great shopping too! Only con was a family with kids on our floor was very loud late at night and early in the morning. Maybe have a few quiet floors for guests who look forward to low/no noise during getaways.
Great place
Great stay centrally located to everything downtown Charlotte
Kara was at the front desk and she was so awesome! She gave us a lot of information . The room was clean, and the parking was easy. Breakfast was also good. Will definitely stay here again. Also will recommend Home 2 to everyone. Thank you for a comfortable stay.
Nice place
It's a very nice hotel. The system went down we tried to check in, so we had to wait 30 mins before we could get in, but the employees were super nice. The parking garage is super busy. The room is great and very comfortable. Would stay here again.
This was a great central place for us to stay in Charlotte. Walking distance to the Convention Center, great restaurants, and museums.
This property was super nice and very clean. The parking is a night mare it’s almost like and obstacle course to park and got to you room. Other than that my watch was pleasant my dog was welcomed very well as a pittie 10/10.
No hot water in the shower. The staff tried multiple times but couldn't fix it. She promised me the manager would call me next day to accommodate me. No one ever called. The room layout is weird, and gave my wife a cold feeling. We both couldn't sleep and left very early in the morning.
Loved my stay here!
Big city fine
It was fine overall… We had a one bedroom room, so that was pretty nice. Although the pullout sofa bed was not the most comfortable thing in the world. Breakfast was nice. Pretty inconvenient parking situation and our piece of paper we used to get out didn’t work so we had to park and go all the way back through the maze to get into the hotel lobby again… Really not the greatest set up especially when something goes wrong :-(
Very nice stay!
The room was very nice and clean. Only disappointment was that the pool was closed (the reason we chose this hotel) and the morning breakfast was a little chaotic (long line, running out of food items). I’d definitely stay again, just wouldn’t plan having breakfast there.
Was enough and good location.
Room was large and comfortable. There was a full kitchen. The staff was great. Area felt safe and very walkable -good for shopping, dining, sightseeing. CVS and Whole Foods practically next door. Target and Marshalls, Best Buy also within walking distance (or a quick uber). Hotel is directly across from Nascar HOF. We were able to get a late check out for a few extra dollars which was helpful since our flight was not until late afternoon. It was easy to get an uber back to the airport as they pull up right in front covered entrance of the hotel or at the side entrance. If you intend on having any packages sent to you as a guest, note that they do charge per package to hold them.
Nice hotel
Great for a quick trip to see a concert
Safe, clean, and convenient, would recommend.
Fine Print and Changing prices.
Booked with hotels.com for Thursday through Sunday. Figured out we couldn’t go until Saturday, but since their rates had inflated (gouged) 300% because of an event in the area we decided to remain booked for 3 nights at the lower rate rather than 1 at the giuging rate. One of the employees called me on Thursday night to see if we were still coming. We discussed the above and I told him we weren’t coming until Saturday. He never told me that the reservation would automatically be canceled if we didn’t show up by the second day. So, my family of 4 showed up Saturday to find our reservation had been canceled, they had no availability. The manager was very polite and professional, he did refund me the charge for the one night so we didn’t lose any money. You could imagine a family of 4 crashing with our friends (a family of 3) in their room, that also wasn’t the room the reserved and checked into. The staff had tried to tell them “their reservation wasn’t good and they would have to pay the new inflated rate. They stood their ground and were successful. Bottom line is apparently it’s not advisable to book through 3rd party services and you need to know the fine print about checking in deadlines.
