The hotel and staff were great and it was very convenient to walk across the street for concerts at the coliseum. You will need a rental car or plan on Uber/lyft for anything else. The complimentary shuttle to and from the airport is very nice.

Great value without question. The property was in great condition. The staff was very nice and the breakfast is quite adequate. Coffee was served throughout the day. The suite that I was given was very spacious with one large room, including a bathroom, living room with a large couch, a kitchen area, fully equipped, a very large bed. There was nothing I could have wanted. This was again a fantastic value. I did not have a car so I took the number 11 bus from downtown Charleston and within 40 minutes I was there for two dollar charge. Without question I’d recommend this hotel.

Home2 suite stay.

The stay was great, the workers was awesome. Only thing is that the back door did not read the key card when I try to get back in every time I have to take my puppy out to the bathroom.

The room was comfortable and the staff friendly. We were on the ground floor. We could see the light from all cars coming into parking lot even with shades all the way down. Light comes in from the top. We could not sleep. Also the was a roach in the bathroom which was unexpected.

North Charleston Gem

Nice hotel, great staff. Room had a funny smell when we arrived but wife sprayed some air freshener which helped to get rid of funny smell. Jimmy at the front desk was helpful and courteous when I advised of the problem. In addition, upon arrival there was trash left at the trash can near elevator on 4th floor. Informed Jimmy of trash situation and it was cleaned up. I would stay here again, the staff are good people.

Great stay. Location was superb as we were in town for a show at the colosseum and it’s right across the street. Hot breakfast hit the spot. Hotel was fairly new and clean. Staff was attentive. It it was priced a little lower, I’d probably give it 5 stars

The front desk had a young man who was fabulous! Very kind and helpful. It's a perfect spot if you are going to an event at the Coliseum.

Absolutely terrible! We didn’t even get to stay one night of the 5 we booked because the hotel was “sold out”. I made the reservation several months in advance only to arrive and be told we had to go to another property for 1 night. The next day we were told that neither hotel had rooms for us so I spent the first half of our first day of vacation on the phone trying to find another hotel. The staff at Home 2 Suites was so rude about everything and basically sent us away with no regard, as if they couldn’t be bothered.

Impossible to review as the hotel overbooked and, when we arrived at 0045 (AM), we had no room. However the reception desk agent was excellent and had already booked a room for us at a nearby hotel, paid our Uber from the airport as well as paid for the cab fare to the new hotel

I liked how close it is to the North Charleston Performing Arts Center venue for concerts, etc. The room lacked hair conditioner and lotion. It was also a bit noisy in that in the morning, I heard people walking from the floor above me.

Great one night stay-over while attending a concert across the road at the North Charleston Coliseum so it’s super convenient! Staff were consistently friendly, helpful and very went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Our room was huge and immaculately clean with fast wifi and decent channel choices in the TV. The free breakfast was good with several hot/cold options and we liked the new draft beer service in the lobby. Definitely a great option for long or short term stays. Good job H2S.

The room I originally received was not what I reserved or paid for but the front desk staff was nice and corrected it immediately. It was right across the street from the venue we were going to but there was no cross walk or light so although getting there was 2 minutes it was a dangerous 2 minutes

1- We provided the property with our flight details for the shuttle they told us to simply call when we landed. When we called, we were told they don't have a shuttle past 11pm so we had to get a cab. 2- the city was doing work on the water main, so we had no flushing toilet or water pressure. The next morning, the water was brown. It would have been great to be notified of this upon checking in, or even a note under the door informing g is to run the water for 2 minutes before consumption.

Great staff. The rooms were clean and as described We weren't able to get into the room until after 3 but we were still able to get unpacked and ready for the meet and greet with Kansas and make it to the venue on time.

The lobby was clean, spacious with a home vibe.

Great location for concert

Good stay, good service. Nice room, comfy. Perfect location for concert at the convention center. Breakfast was ok. A bit overcooked and the corned beef hash ran out early and was never replenished. No juice, flavored water?

Booked this property for a three night stayat $548 and had a family emergency, advised the office. Made it to the property the very next morning willing to pay for the lost night and continue with the rest of our stay. I was charged $180 for the first night and the service desk canceled the last two nights. She advised that I could book a separate reservation and the total for two nights was $778. I checked online at the same time while in the office and the price was $550 for two nights therefore I told the receptionist I will just go ahead and book online so I am not spending $1000 for three nights; she then proceeded to tell me all rooms are booked. I had to find a hotel last minute in Charleston on a volleyball tournament weekend. Ridiculous. Lost money, and was completely inconvenienced. Will not book with Hilton in Charleston ever again. Rude and disrespectful.

Worth a Look if you're in the Charleston SC area

Great staff both at check-in and check-out as well as housekeeping staff. Room was excellent and well equipped. We stayed 2 weeks. Located near shopping areas like Tanger Outlets. Would definitely recommend.

This is a great place. You just don’t want your room by the hall exit door. That was a tough thing all night with people going in and out. Definitely woke us at times in the night. But a great staff and room is awesome. Just had to mark down the comfort because of disruptive sleep. I was told to put “not near exit or elevators” in my comments when booking.

Nice room Super comfortable bed I stayed at another chain hotel the week prior and this room was much nicer!

Nasty tub and sink.

The room we stayed in was very dirty in the bathroom. The tub had pubic hair and pink slimy things around it. The tissue holder had hair and heavy dust on it. It was very nasty.

Check in was great! I don’t remember her name but the lady who checked us in was extremely nice. She chatted with us about what we had planned and we told her we were there for a concert. She said she hoped we had a great time. The next morning she was cleaning tables in the lobby and asked about our concert and wished me a good day by name (and no she wasn’t the one checking us out). She cared enough to remember that’s amazing service.

I had a pleasant stay.

I was called twice within 5mins for a noise complaint. Said that we were jumping. No one was jumping. I walked to the bathroom and back to the bed. This resulted in us checking out. I will not be harassed. I will be expecting a refund processed tomorrow.

In town for my daughter's graduation. Chose this hotel specifically as it is right across from the Coliseum! We were so pleased with our choice.

We had a great stay. You could work on timeliness of airport pick up but all in all it was a nice stay.

Decent place too much noise

The place looked nice. There was a little smell likely due to the age of the space. The noise was ridiculous! The people above us were going bonkers all night. The hotel staff was nice but even housekeeping was crazy noisy as well. It was like the floor was paper thin. Comfy beds and good amenities the place was just so noisy.

Whenever I'm in town for a show at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center, this is where I stay, as it's right across the street. Clean, Comfortable, quiet, and with a very helpful staff!

Great hotel if you're going to an event at the arena. Beer tabs in the lobby are the new standard!

Upon check-in was told the room I reserved wasn’t available. I waited an hour in the lobby before the situation was resolved and told that they did in fact have a room available. Staff was friendly and apologetic however.

Excellent overall except shower water.

Renovated recently. Nice decorations and colors and bathroom and kitchenette. Excellent condition. Nice amenities. Convenient location. Easy access to airport, beltway interstate, food and bars. Would have rated it even higher except that the shower water pressure was low resulting in minimal shower head spray. That's a big negative in my opinion.

Customer service was excellent. Nadia was very helpful when I was checking out with a request I had. She went above and beyond helping me.

Excellent customer service! Front desk rep Jazmynn texted me throughout my stay to see if there was anything I needed. She even arranged a complimentary taxi for me to get to the airport when I had to leave at 4am! Yes, the area around the hotel is less than desirable, but the hotel itself is completely renovated and clean. I chose this hotel because it was across the street from the North Charleston Coliseum, where I attended a concert. I felt safe walking across the street at night. Another plus was free airport shuttle- the service was fast and driver courteous. To get to downtown it was only $13 Uber ride, so this was a perfect stay for me. I will definitely be back!

Pass for the Price

Expected a slightly better experience for the high cost of the hotel. The pictures of the property are pretty deceiving as it is not in a very nice location or have ideal outdoor lounge space. Also, recommend picking up breakfast elsewhere, the included breakfast is pretty unappetizing. There are much better hotels in the area, and even better Hilton properties.

for being so far out of the loop concerning restaurants, I found the breakfast was really awful, coffee was great the people are great , breakfast will make me choose another hotel.

The staff was fantastic

A little disappointed.

Pictures of the hotel are a little misleading. The pool is in a small corner with barely enough space to walk around the sides. Only 3 lounge chairs. I was very disappointed in the pool area. Upon arrival our room was extremely dusty, there was trash in the trash can, and fake fingernails on the couch. I asked for another room and was immediately moved. The staff was very nice and apologetic. The replacement room was clean. The rooms were very small for a kitchen suite. There was no oven or stove. We have stayed in many Home 2 suites. This was my least favorite. However, The staff was super nice.

The front desk clerks were very friendly and helpful. The bathroom in the room was not as clean as I would hope. There were hairs from previous guests in the sink and on the floor.

I would love to give this motel a five star rating but the amenities were disappointing. I booked this room because of the amenities. The weight room was closed first two days and the pool was down after the first day. I have to say that I would give the staff a 10 if that was possible. They went above and beyond. After the pool was down the 1st two days and I told them how disappointed I was, they found me a room at another motel. I would still give this motel another try just because the staff were so awesome, the room was great, and the free breakfast was really good.

When entering the building there was no staff at the desk. We had to wait awhile for someone to come. The room looked dingy and the refrigerator was in the way of the door. There was no remote in the room and no shower curtain in the shower. We had to ask for a shower curtain and put it up ourselves. I was very disappointed in my stay. I do not recommend.

Staff was great home 2 home properties have all been great.. A family favorite!

Outside grilling options

Our stay was wonderful! The rooms are spacious and well stocked. The bedding is very comfortable. The pool was lovely. We were only here for a night prior to a morning flight out of the Charleston airport, and it was the perfect relaxing moment before a busy travel day. Tom was a delightful driver for our airport shuttle. If we ever have a need in the area again, this would by far be our choice.

Good experience

We had electrical issues the two days of our stay. No lights worked in our bathroom and we found a old bar of soap on the shower. Very poor cleanliness.

This was a great place to stay in Charleston. The location makes it convenient to everything in the area. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. It is a pet friendly hotel, so that is an extra bonus!

This is my second time staying here with my pet, the staff is very polite and the place is clean.

Is not good place to stay

I didn like that rooms were only serviced once every four days, that i had to go looking for the cleaning person to get clean towels.

Ok stay

The people were ok, getting along with the customer. The room was ok, but the pillows inside the cases were yellowed. I requested an upper floor room and got one. The desk person was going to give me a first floor room for my pets.

Staff friendly and helpful. Let us check in early. Everything was open except the pool. Room and lobby/breakfast area nice and clean.

This was the best hotel with the vest and friendliest staff ever!! I have stayed in A LOT of hotels all over the country, but this one is the best! It all started with Reba who picked us from the airport in the hotel shuttle. Super clean, great gym, big room, great breakfast!
