Great place to stay in New York. The staff was amazing. They hold your bags prior to check in and after check out. The rooms are a bit cozy but we were able to make it work with 4 people. Everything was very clean. The only downside is that they charge you a destination fee, which came out to $90 for 4 nights. They told me it was a mandatory charge as per their policy. Other than that everything was perfect.
My room was directly next to the elevator on the 12th floor and it was SO loud. The toilet in my bathroom ran every hour or so which made sleeping comfortably a challenge. I went for this hotel for a more 'affordable' option for a work trip, but next time, I will definitely look for somewhere with a higher rating and a bit of a higher price tag.
Room was small but very clean. I would recommend this hotel. It was located near many restaurants as well as the subway. It’s also a short walk to the high line, 34th street, Empire State Building and so much more.
The location is great however the two elevators available to guests are not adequate enough.
The staff was kind courteous and professional I will always stay there when I go to NYC
Good location accessible from the metro
The location is one of the reasons we like to stay at this property
Clean and comfortable. Great housekeeping service daily and front desk very professional. Only 2 elevators, so can take a minute coming and going at times.
There was a loud clicking noise from the pipes whenever someone used the water, and the elevator ran noisily throughout the night. I informed the staff, but they dismissed my concerns.
Had a great stay! Loved the area.
Water dripping room
Water pouring down from the bathroom ceiling in 1am. I paid a lot for that night and they gave me a broken room. They have ignored my request for refund by keeping saying they need their manager’s approval.
My girlfriend and I liked everything, the staff were friendly and very helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel!
Well located to subway. Good value for money.
Worth it
Good clean hotel. Mattress was too hard. Staffer at front desk was friendly and seemed hard working.
I had an amazing experience
All the staff were super friendly and attentive!
Enjoyed our stay. Great view
Good stay. Quarters were tight. Temperature of the room was hard to control. Way too warm at normal setting.
The staff was great
Overall was a good Expedience room was a bit small and was unfortunate we got the window facing another building ha
Overall, the hotel was good. The rooms were clean and the staff were fairly helpful. The shower was nice. The heater in our room was my biggest complaint. The fan was quite loud, and there was no setting to have the fan consistently on or off. The fan also blew cold air before turning to heat. The combination of cold air and the noise of the fan turning on throughout the night was pretty annoying. We ended up unplugging the fan and having very cold sleeps. The area the hotel is in is okay. It's central to most things, but a bit rough.
It was pretty meh. I had to clear my throat 3x to get the attention of the front desk attendant who was playing a game on his phone. The mattress was hard as a rock, and even on the 12th floor, the street noise was ridiculous all night long.
great stay
very nice staff
Great place to stay.
Okay
Enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you. Staff great friendly professional and hotel great and comfy.
Only complaint is the beds were basically box springs. Everything else was perfect including location
Rooms are pretty small. The TV decided not to work the final night and there was nothing they can do.
The rooms are very small but we made it work with our family of four. Parking is very expensive in the garage that is recommended.
Very comfortable
Overall service was excellent!!!!
Great place to stay, location is close to a lot of attractions.
It was a great stay overall
The staff was very nice and helpful.
Thank you for a wonderful stay and thank you to Soumia for being so gracious and hospitable.
Great stay, very friendly staff!
Even if the room was ok , when we walked inn the WC was dirty , with best of urine and not flushed !!! We complained at the reception and they apologized and offer us a free breakfast. We really appreciate and had a simple but delicious breakfast .. we even thought we could have breakfast at the hotel next day. They confirmed us that it will be 10USD each but the next day they informed us that the first persone was 10 and the 2d was 20!!! we didn't understand why.
Amazing location
the location was amazing , the size of the room were small but were clean , the room was cleaned every day and very nicely . the staff was very helpful. i would surly choose this hotel next time.
Bbb
La habitacion es pequeña, pero solo parabamos para descansar. La atencion fue buena
Front desk staff was great, room is TIGHT. Beds were hard as a rock, and the hotel was a bit run down.
Regular Business Traveler
I stay at this hotel a couple times each year, when in the city for work. It looked like it’s had a makeover since my last stay, which was very nice. Something new was a welcome bag of water and snacks at checkin. My room had a great view. My only complaint is the wait time for the elevator.
Clean, comfy and convenient subways
We stayed here because we wanted to be within walking distance to Madison Square Garden. Convenient to everything, restaurants, pubs, groceries, liquor store, coffee shop, nail salon, etcetera. Public transportation is about a block away. The staff was very helpful with anything we needed. Although there are no microwaves or fridges in the room, there are a couple of microwaves throughout the property that you can use and they do have mini fridges upon request based on availability. Luckily they had one and delivered it to our room. The room was VERY clean and the bed was comfortable, but the room was VERY small. We had a king room and only had enough space to walk around the bed and that was it, which was fine with us because we were just there to sleep and spent most of our time out exploring the city.
We had a great stay!
Great stay
Likes: location, more reasonable than most places around, in room coffee, decent gym. Dislikes: small room (expected), shower didn't work. Reported it in the morning, came back at the end of day and no one had been to the room to check it. Had to then repack all our stuff and change rooms at night. Expensive for what it is, but that's Manhattan.
Good
Good bed; firm but not hard. Good blackout shade.
No service at all checking in at 6:00 am was horrific
We stayed 5 days, 1 adult and 2 kids (teenager) Friendly staff, accommodating with early check-in, felt safe and comfortable
.
Everyone is so polite and professional. Love it!
Convenience to all amenities.
Horrible experience with staff and rude!!
We had no running water for 12 hours followed by no hot water. Then no cold water to balance the hot water. Then a clogged toilet. Everyday was an issu.
The bathroom was very small but clean. This is a very average property.
I had a room straight across from the lift, so noisy! The staff also congregated there at night at a book beside the lift so I had to put up with chatter until they decided they were done. Check in was a joke - I arrived a couple hours before and had to leave my luggage in a huge unlocked room, part of the dining area. Where people could freely walk in and out. When I asked the attendant how safe it was I barely got a mumble. Then the woman who checked me in proceeded to give her colleague, who was loud as hell, side eye and stopped what she had to say to just stare at him. It was uncomfortable. Noise in the surrounding area was also too much. Dump trucks, people, sirens. I get it’s NYC and you have to expect that but only to a degree. Hotels should be sound proof enough to deal with it. I was literally being woken out of my sleep. Not what you want when you’re jet lagged. Room was clean but I had a massive crack in the window. Bed was higher than my hip, I literally had to jump up to it. All in all, a displeasure of a stay. Even more of a sting considering the higher price I paid. Do NOT recommend.
The location was convenient, and close to nearby attractions. My room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. I would recommend this hotel.
good
Lugar cómodo, limpio y un excelente servicio
Rooms are really small. The beds are not queens maybe fulls? Everything was good except for that I think if I would have known how small the beds and rooms were I might have booked 2 rooms instead of one.
Amazing view
I want a refund
It was horrible. The AC smelt like sewer and nobody would come and help us. The window wouldn’t shut and nobody helped us. Felt like bed bugs in our bed and woke up with bites.
I would definitely stay again! Very clean updated and close to everything.
Great location!
We were told there was on property parking, but there wasn’t. We had to park further down the street and couldn’t take the car during our trip because they took the keys. We had to bring our luggage from the garage all the way to the hotel without a luggage cart or any help. Our room was downgraded due to overbooking. Room was noisy, we could hear in other rooms
Really conveniently located for anyone travelling into the city. Would stay here again!
Great stay! Will stay here again
Pleasant, courteous staff. Had to put up with noise emanating from the elevator shaft for the entirety of my stay.
Good
The staff was excellent, really accommodating and were very polite, especially Brandi at the front desk. I did have a problem with Expedia telling me i only had to pay $900 at the property but when i arrived it was almost 1,300.00. This was a major inconvenience and i.balme Expedia not the Holliday Inn.
Great Location
Perfect location
The location is perfect for someone that wants to explore the city. Staff are amazing and so welcoming. From the moment I check in to check out it was top notch service. Rooms were a little small.
Perfect location with amazing views
The location is perfect for someone that wants to explore the city. Staff are amazing and so welcoming. From the moment I check in to check out it was top notch service. Our room had the most amazing views of the Empire State Building and we loved it!
Staff was polite. Rooms a bit small, we were on the 21st floor it had a pertty view. Over all not bad for one night.
It was clean and staff was nice! Close to a lot of stuff
Unit felt new inside. Very clean
Terrible elevator
Everything was great
Holiday Inn
Part of our Family vacation to tour Manhattan. Rooms are small. Parking is difficult but all was to be expected in the city.
Smallest bathrooms i ever saw in Holliday inn and no refrigerator.
The hotel was neat, reception and staff were very friendly and accomodating to questions. The room was very clean and no complaints. We requested a minifridge, which was brought to our room within 15 mins. Our floor(15th) had an ice machine and drinks vending machine in the hallway. Minor derail, most of the softdrinks were soldout during our stay, despite mentioning this to the technical staff. Our booking was for room with city view, but the view consisted of the adjecent building. Not very much.. but didnt bother us. 2 blocks fro subway station, and many stores and groceries available in the area. Overall we would surely stay here again!!
we had a room confirmed only to have the hotel call ua when we were in an Uber 15 minutes away to say that there was no room after all. not good.
Excellent stay with restaurants, stores and bars walking distance.
Property is good but small as would be the case in NY. Staff is generally good especially Saumia at the front desk but equally there are other people who don’t know how to talk to guest, refuse to listen and despite being the hotel’s fault like lift not working blame the customer for deciding to stay at the hotel… not fit to be in the hotel industry
Great
Water pressure on lower floors was so low as if dripping. Need to wait for the mercy of higher floor quickness to shower. Location is convenient though
Decent stay. Overall, good experience aside from the elevator issues. Close to everything. Small room but very convenient if only there to sleep.
The wait for the elevator feels like eternity, The rooms are too small.
Lift down and not notify in advance
Good
It’s very small with no refrigerator or microwave. Good location
Sonia made it great!
The service at the front was wonderful. Miss Sonia was kind and very helpful. She even helped me save money with the parking suggestion. Room was very clean and it was a great location
my experience at this hotel was horrible and indeed I have no future plans to stay or recommend anyone to stay there. I always use Expedia to book hotels but after my experience at this hotel I have serious doubts about Expedia's credibility and next time I'll book room through hotel's website. For example, I did notify the hotel that my room required cleaning services because the trash bin was full of used food take-out containers before I went outside on Sunday morning but when I came back my room was not cleaned at all and I had to clean my room including taking out the trash. This is the first time I had to clean my room not by the hotel as required. This hotel has 25 floors and only 2 very small elevators, which was horribly bad to support the guests. One elevator was out of service on Sunday. Guests were waiting 10 to 15 minutes on their floor to use the elevators. Guests were called to the service desk to stop the elevators and leave the hotel to go to the airports and check out. it was a horrible disaster. My room was 905, to maintain my plan I had to take the stairs instead of the elevator. it was very challenging to use the stairs to leave the hotel. I never had such a horrible experience before; cleaning my room and using the stairs. I think Expedia has the moral and legal obligation to provide basic and reasonable services and in this case, Expedia failed profoundly. I will certainly chat about my bad experience with my friends via social media.
It’s the kind of hotel where you get what you pay for. If you’re out all day and just need somewhere to lay your head/keep your things, this is the hotel for you. The best part about it is the location itself. It’s very close to number of different subway stations and just a a walk away from attractions such as the Empire State Building. The staff were also very nice. One issue I had, which isn’t an easy fix, is the number of elevators. Two elevators for a 25 story building doesn’t seem feasible at all. Between the people checking in and those going in and out, it as difficult to get up and down. On our last day there, they did maintenance on an elevator, leaving only one for guests. I also expected that at a hotel, the sheets would be changed everyday. There was a day where some food spilled on the bed. We took the sheets off completely in hopes they’d be change them. Once went to bed that night, we noticed the same stain and that they had put the same sheets on. We also requested a fridge at least 3 times that we never got.
Inexpensive, centrally located, clean and quiet. perfect for a work week in Manhattan on a budget
V
I got charged $50 extra upon arrival tv would go on and off elevators sucked only two and they took forever

Front Desk Somia from Morocco her customer service was absolutely outstanding. Thank you for the wonderful support and hospitality you gave us. There was another lady that worked in the evening and she was also very friendly. If you are wanting a good overall experience I would recommend you stay here
