I felt very welcome by all staff, they were very accommodating and the shuttle drivers were fantastic!

I really like the options to park outside or under cover of the parking structure. Also, there is a 24h security on the premise who drives around the parking lot. The staff are friendly. Good options for breakfast. We really liked the fact that it is 5 minutes from the airport since our flight was at 5:30 AM.

We are pleased with this property each time we stay. The airport shuttle service is very helpful.

I was in town for a quick 36 hour work trip with two other colleagues. The front desk staff could not have been nicer. I arrived much later than expected on my first night due to a flight cancellation and it was such a gift to be swiftly picked up by the shuttle and warmly welcomed when I arrived. They also were very accommodating and helpful. Thank you, all!

I liked how convenient it was from the airport. Just wished the shuttle would take you more then 1 mile from hotel. Should at least take you to downtown San Antonio.

I love how clean this place is. Just a little suggestion. When checking in please inform us of everything especially when it’s your first time staying here. Apparently we’re allowed to park in the garage and they have a shuttle for the movies. I was not informed so didn’t get to try that.

Staff were good. Jose, night clerk was very helpful giving me directions to the hotel cuz I got lost. I called numerous time and he was very courteous and kept with me till I got to the hotel at midnight due to a late flight from Dallas to San Antonio.

The staff was awesome, very polite and helpful. One even recommended a great river location to see. It was the quietest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The breakfast was great. They even offered complimentary drinks at night. They even have a laundry room which was very convenient. Sometimes it’s the little things that make a hotel great and this one did which gave it charm. I would recommend this hotel!

The window did not close correctly. It sounded like the traffic was coming through my room. Also had kids next door yelling until 1 am and the staff did nothing about it even after I called them

Nice and clean property

I checked in at 10 PM and was given a room that was filthy. It was clear that it hadn’t been cleaned at all unless this is considered the hotel’s regular standard. On top of that, the circulating fan was extremely loud, making it impossible for me to sleep. Around midnight, I went to the front desk to request a room change, but I was told that no additional rooms were available. The next morning, I encountered something even more disgusting—something came out of the bathtub that made the room utterly uninhabitable. I went to the front desk again to request a different room and was given the same response: "No rooms are available." However, when I showed the picture of the issue to the front desk staff, I was suddenly given a new room immediately. I’m not sure how that happened, but it raises serious concerns about the management's honesty. I spent the first night in that unclean room, unable to sleep, and only received a clean room on the second day. This experience was completely unacceptable.

Smelled & looked clean, pet area needed to have smoking butt disposal container dumped cigarette/butts on ground, office chair in room torn & ratty, breakfast seating area blue chairs near windows should be replaced (arm rest dirty & stained)

This hotel was decent for what we paid for one night. The bathrooms are a bit small for two people. They could use an update. There were no extra blankets in the closet. We did like the staff, price and convenience.

Outstanding Hotel! The entire staff was friendly and professional. My hotel room was very clean and comfortable. The transportation personnel were excellent and very professional. I will definitely recommend the Holiday Inn Express and be staying there again.

Nice room, very nice pool area. Could have been cleaner, particularly the floors. Breakfast was good. Had a parking garage. Apparently there is a problem with cars being stolen in the area. Very close tovthe airport.

The sink was clogged and had previously tenants spit stuck in the pipe of the drain that would come up when you tried to use it. It was disgusting. the toilet took at least 10 minutes to fill up after a flush.

The ladies at the front desk were wonderful! Always cheerful & quick to assist us. They always greeted us in a pleasant manner when we came in. They never acted like we were a burden. The place was clean & quiet.

Overall very nice

The location and shuttle to and from the airport were the top selling points. Absolutely wonderful and kind staff. They all deserve raises and recognition. The only fixes we found were that the bathroom needed better ventilation and the fridge in the room froze everything but that’s just small fixable stuff in comparison to the fantastic staff and facilities itself

If you need a quite and relaxing room by airport , you won't be disappointed with this hotel

I’m convinced there is not a cleaner hotel in San Antonio! Sabrina checked us in, and she mentioned how her housekeeping staff members have been there for decades. It shows in their detail to cleanliness! Every staff member I came in contact with was very kind and helpful! Their breakfast is GREAT and offers everything you could want! The pool isn’t the biggest but we didn’t have a chance to swim, still I saw many families out there enjoying their time in the pool. I’m very particular about places to stay while on vacation and chose this hotel because of its ratings and I’m glad I did! My family and I were beyond happy with our choice!

The only issue I had was I didn’t feel it was right for the customers who booked flights couldn’t get the shuttle bus to or from the hotel. We had to take an Uber . To me when you’re spending this kind of money that should automatically come with the hotel stay when you have a flight reservation as proof.

It is a good property to stay for a family. I felt safe and comfortable. Staffs are friendly and nice. Breakfast is good.

Nice stay

Overall, our stay was great. The original room we were given had a musty almost urine like odor. Called downstairs and they gave me a new room right away. Come to find out it had to do with the A/C and humidity so can't fault them for that. Beds were super comfy and CLEAN. The free breakfast in the morning was great. Decent selection but go early. Depending on when you stay it can get very crowded. The only issue we had was parking. We really liked the security aspect of having a guest only, code required parking but it is shared with the Drury inn next door. A couple of times we arrived back to the hotel with nowhere to park. We had to park off the property across the street. To some it might be nothing but it is a chore when you forget something and have to make that trek. Would recommend and definitely stay again.

Very friendly staff. Room was clean, comfortable beds. Breakfast was delicious with several options, especially for those big us with children.

The hotel was very clean and had the friendliest staff. Plenty of parking and there’s restaurants around the area to enjoy. Close to the airport literally minutes away which is why we booked it close we had a 6 am departure. The rooms were very clean there’s some areas that are run down/old for example the shower tub.

We had a pleasant experience at this property. Staff were very friendly and room/and amenities were clean. My only complaint is one of the two elevators was out of service which caused an inconvenience as the two elevators were the most convenient elevators on the property, and were used by everyone.
