Sink clogged. Took 10 minutes for the water to get hot in shower. The bottom of tub was stained. Front desk was friendly. Bed was comfortable.

IHG should be ashamed of this property. Check in took nearly 45 minutes as sole staff member did not know how to use the computer system. Room was filthy with mud stains on the walls and floors and beds were made up despite being soiled and stained. Staff had to come up to change the sheets and provided a comforter without a duvet cover, leaving me to sleep with only a sheet and one clean pillow. My stay was worse than a night in jail. Never again. Better still, I paid via Hotels.com and got charged again by the property which required five (5!) calls to reach the manager for a refund on the double charge. NEVER. AGAIN.

Boiler room noise!
Boiler room noise on my side of building. Very loud and ear plugs (by front desk) mildly helped. It literally vibrated my room all night. Front desk glas (lovely) refunded me 50% instead of moving me and it WAS NOT sold out, no way. Shady area, crappy windows. Do better for the price. NO airport shuttle either, total joke!
Friendly staff
The staff was friendly. The facility was clean and safe. I would return to the place again if opportunity presents.
Window was facing the interstate so potential to get noisy but not an issue for me. However, I did have to shake the toilet handle after flushing if not it would just run.

Over charged
I was charged double over $1000 for a 3 night stay and no one could help me or explain it to me. They just kept adding charges and saying it will fall off my bank account in 5-10 business days. Even my receipt was correct but then I had an additional $500 charge for no reason. Will never stay here again. Possibly never at another holiday inn. Super disappointed!

The people here were very friendly: However, there were a few things that I did not like. Our room was beside a transformer that and that was also the view from our room. It buzzed all night making it very difficult to sleep. There was not bath soap in the shower. It was empty. I had the same problem with this Holiday Inn Express as the one before it. There was also very little . food left in the serving area. There were omelets that were better than most, but there was only one bagel and no other bread for toasting. There were no cinnamon rolls and the coffee container was empty. No one was wiping the tables. This is not what I have come to expect form IHG. What is wrong with the hotels in the south?
Convenient to the interstate, AC worked well. Door lock did not operate smoothly One key card did not work.

Breakfast was terrible. No coffee, no ice water, and juice machine was broken.
Popcorn machine in the lobby for the guests, but had no popcorn in it. Dispenser with lemonade in it for the guests but no cups for the lemonade. Pillows on the bed were very hard. Breakfast the next morning the pancake maker was broken. The juice dispenser was broken. There was no milk available for the cereal. The staff was all very nice but management and maintenance needed some work.

Nice place for overnight
Bed very comfortable , shower and bath good with lots of hot water. Fairly clean. Lots of parking. My husband threw up immediately after eating g the breakfast. We think it was the gravy. Otherwise food place to stay.

Quality Control
The toilet seat had a cigarette burn on it. It should be replaced for overall quality. The room reeked of pet urine. Died down over time. Large bath towel had pubic hairs. Used hand towel to dry off. Used Q-tip on the floor near the head of the bed on the left. Carpet needs to be shampooed. Obviously unkept. Regretted not having my shower slippers. Breakfast was very nice. Staff was very courteous, overall. Tighten up on quality assurance. Check every room after cleaning for accountability.
DO NOT STAY HERE! We walked into our room and it was so hot and humid. It had a really bad smell. Our floors were dirty, it is extremely outdated. We had our 5 month old baby with us and this was not the place for us. To top off our stay as we settled for bed we saw a big roach on our wall. We called the front desk, they asked to relocate us to a different room but other rooms would have been just as bad. We asked for a refund but they refused due to booking through a third party. We contacted Expedia and they contacted the property and they still refused. We paid almost $200 for a room that appeared to be a $50 room. If you like to be able to sleep and rest in peace without the thought of bug crawling in your room then do not stay here! We had our family staying in a different room and their room was just as dirty. We stayed here as we read previous reviews and it showed that it was a clean and perfect place to stay. However, it is not what people say to be.

great location and very quiet for an airport location
The faucet in the tub shot out from the wall landing on my foot injuring it badly. Jules the general manager was very nonchalant, rude, abrupt, and unconcerned about this situation. When i inquired about her superior to escalate my concern jules informed there is no one and that she was the head boss of this company and chain. We'll see about that!!
Check in was fast and easy. Especially after a long day of flights.
Good hotel but issue with room
The hotel itself was good but a very small lobby. I liked that it had a small grocery area to buy chips, candy, soda and small food items. It even had board games you can check out to play. The lady that checked us in was excellent, she was friendly and efficient. The breakfast was really tasty and fresh surprisingly. The lady in the breakfast area was also nice and helpful. She kept the food stocked. My only complaint was once we entered our room it had a strong smell of coffee. My husband started inspecting the bed to make sure it was clean and discovered a huge stain of coffee wasted on the sheets. The stain was also on the side of the mattress. The cleaning person tried to hide the stain by tucking it toward the back of the bed. It was freshly wasted coffee because the smell was overpowering. I'm appalled that the cleaning person would even think that was acceptable to leave like that. Even more so to think the guest was not going to smell it and discover. We went back downstairs to notify and the manager over housekeeping was there and we showed the pictures. He instantly apologized and said he would correct it. Him and another employee went upstairs cleaned the mattress and put freshly sheets and pillowcases on the bed. They also recleaned the counter tops and dressers as they weren't cleaned. Loved the way he handled it. I loved the fact our room had 2 tvs and sitting area. The customer service was on point from all we interacted with. Would stay again.
It’s a typical Holiday Inn
Not best but not worse
The young man that checked us in was the only friendly face I seen. The room felt comfortable but it was uncomfortable due to staff. Room was cleaned by housekeeping and we didn’t have any towels. My husband asked at the front desk just for the lady at the front to not say a thing just throw it at him. It was already hard on us because we traveled to Shreveport for our Aunts funeral. We spent most of our time outside of the hotel just to feel at peace.

One of the better hotels near the airport
Was here for a two-day business trip, and for the location, this seems like the nicer hotel that's available. So if you're looking to be close to the airport, I would say this is your best/better bet. It was as clean and well-kept as you would expect a Holiday Inn to be. I actually walked here directly from the airport (and to the airport the next morning) and it was less than 10 minutes overall and easy - no one bothered me, and a Lyft was easy to find when I needed one early the morning I needed to work in downtown Shreveport. Nothing really bad to say on my end at all, but just wanted to give the heads up on this specific location for a hotel in this general area of Shreveport. Would definitely stay here again if I get assigned to come back to this city.

TV Chanel’s available was poor. AC did not work in first room. Pillows were terrible. Roaches in breakfast area. Artificial eggs were awful.
The staff was amazing and the hotel was nicely updated, but the location is super sketchy and the entire place is humid and musty.

I booked this room at the wrong location. Bob Ross would have called it a "Happy Accident." While I booked a room that was 15 minutes out of the way, I couldn't have been more pleased! Chandler greeted me with a smile when I walked in the door. He was upbeat, professional and had a contagious smile. What an outstanding young man.The parking lot and the hotel were clean and well lit. Our room was clean and comfortable. They had free hot or cold continental the pool area was well kept. I would highly recommend this hotel. And it is close to the airport.
Airport property. Convenient to Shreveport Regional so you should expect the air traffic noise. Not that bad actually.

When we checked in I told them my room was supposed to have a king size bed. They gave me 2 queen beds and a third floor room. I needed first floor because I have a dog. She was very nice and finally got it straightened out. I did not care for being charged 75$ non refundable for dog . I think you should at least get half back if everything checks out. Our dog is small and very well trained and up to date with everything

The property was very safe feeling. I was a single elderly female visiting for a family medical issue and I needed a last minute hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Clara made check in a breeze. Very quick, able to accommodate special request, showing genuine concern that i would be comfortable.
We've been in midrange hotels every night for two weeks and this was our most enjoyable stay. It was clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. My only negative is that it took 10 minutes to check in on a prepaid reservation. Just hand us the keys and let us go to the room already! This is a universal complaint that I have at the end of a long drive. All in all the excellence of everything else made up for the unusually long check in experience.

This is one of my favorite Holiday Inn Express locations.
Bad location
The hotel itself was fine and the service was great . The location has a lot to be desired. I was there for work and worried about the parking lot security. It is tucked back by an industrial businesses and storage units. I drive a large service truck with a lot of tooling so I felt uneasy about parking there. I will not be staying there again.
Brittany was very pleasant and helpful, there was an issue with the blinds and she promptly moved us to another room. Breakfast was great and the staff were all so welcoming.
The first room they gave us smelled like cat pee. The second room had mold on the walls in the bathroom

Not great for the price. The bathroom was not clean. There was hair stuck on the shower wall as well as the bathroom floor. There was also a small spot of what looked like blood on the bathroom floor. The price was also inflated due to a high profile event in the area that weekend. This place is absolutely not worth a premium price.
Horrible service
I booked this hotel for my family to stay on my daughters cheerleading completion months in advance. The day of check in I receive a phone call stating they had overbooked and wanted to see if we can take one of the sister property. Upon research my wife realized that they did not have the correct bed arrangement we selected. So we called and said no and they said ok we will move other people. My wife arrived and the room didn’t have the sofa bed they needed and didn’t have any rooms available. The whole reason we booked this hotel and room was because of the sleeping arrangement it had. Some people had to sleep on the floor. This is very unacceptable and should not have happened.

Stayed for two nights for business. Very convenient location. Extremely pleasant staff, Audra went above and beyond to make my stay that much more enjoyable.

Pet fee didn’t match what was reflected on the website at booking. Service desk was nice at check in. Actual room was extremely loud. I could hear my neighbor snoring and the people above me at 3 am walking around and playing music, kind of annoying.
i love holiday inn .express. the only down side was the a/c didn't work until 3:30am in morning. it was hot. but i overlooked it because this hotel is always a favorite.

The air conditioner wasn't working in our room
We ended up extending our stay due to Hurricane Ida. James at the Front Desk was the highlight of our stay: always willing to help when we had questions or a keycard or two stop working. The place was clean and the staff is super friendly!! Lots of people had pets beside us and it was great to see them be so pet friendly. Will definitely stay here again.
(1) Elevators were not working (2) we got the room on the ground floor closest to the front desk (3) Room door would not open properly either due to paint or some other reason so you had to throw your shoulder into the door to open it from the outside (4) because of the sticky door, one could not get enough leverage to open the door from inside the room (even for a 200lb male) and when trying the door handle came off. We felt unsafe in staying in a room at the lobby that we could not open from the inside on our own so simply left to complete a long car ride at night.

I was expecting for the bedroom to be separated from the living area. The suite was an opening concept.
The staff was nice, especially James. He was very helpful when it came to the “plumbing” issues…but unfortunately having fleas crawl all over us, was a no brain game changer!

It was under construction and just a dirty mess.. staff was not prepared and assigned me a wrong room twice.. hotel was lacking any amenities and pool was green.. worst stay I have had in years !!
Terrible stay
My trip was horrible. I paid for a king room and was given a queen. I was not able to use the weight room as it was blocked off. My check in took 20 minutes and I was not greeted as an IHG member. I will not stay here again.
Disappointing facility, but wonderful staff
There is a lot of construction going on with workers coming and going, lots of dust and noise. The breakfast was a huge disappointment, but the young man who was in charge of the breakfasts was wonderful - kind and helpful. In fact, all of the staff were great. It was the condition of the building and all the work that was being done that was unpleasant. In addition, our room safe did not work and neither did the microwave. I've stayed at this hotel many times but this time was not what I expected.
