Front desk employee was unfortunately a disappointment - when asked about recommended locales in the area, she was incredibly dismissive, which was a real turn off. In addition, they were unable to provide linens for the in room sofa bed. Aside from that, facility was clean and enjoyable.

Dirty bathroom

Building is nice and new. Nice staff. Many choices for breakfast. Bed was hard as a rock. Hair in shower and overall bathroom not super clean.

Very clean & comfortable. We stopped for one night on a road trip and this was the cleanest hotel we stayed in on the whole trip. The decor is simple, but the rooms are spotless. The breakfast room was spotless and the staff were polite and attentive. The hotel is pretty new. The beds were awesome - so comfortable.

Overall good stay. Other than Christmas day that housekeeping was off to be with their family, there was one day that they did not come clean our room. One of the days they did come they only cleaned the bathroom. Our last day they did a full clean. Very inconsistent. The breakfast was better than average amongst other hotels.

Not your normal Holiday Inn experience

The window in the room was leaking rain. Towel was placed on floor to absorb the water. Never was removed. Maintenance came to cork window. The pillowcase had a stain after the maid had cleaned the room. Placed pillow on n floor to be removed was put back on bed. Front desk staff was not friendly.

The hotel was very clean, the breakfast was great, and the staff was superb. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it for others!

Everything was new and modern. Staff was friendly. We were in the area for a funeral so the hotel was just a bedroom. It worked out great.

All of the staff were friendly and helpful…from the check in desk to the breakfast. The whole facility was exceptionally clean and appeared to have been recently renovated…or perhaps it was a new location! It was a very pleasant experience.

Just an overnight stay but was clean and neat

Gem in Dayton

We were greeted by the hostess in a very welcoming way, and that went in a rapid and friendly way. The complimentary breakfast was surprisingly good with a number of different choices. Even though there were sports teams staying at the hotel, we were surprised at how quiet the hotel was. The room was spacious and clean, with enough room to navigate without tripping over each other.

Nothing special but good

Overall great staff. Nice room and facility. Was in town for a well known soccer tournament. Seemed like staff wasn’t prepared for the influx for breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

Great, spotless property, well maintained and smells clean, price was good and the staff was friendly. Only complaint I have is that there was not enough towels in the pool area, and when we requested more, they were unwilling to give what we needed. The same went for bathroom towels, I needed two extra and was told no.

Close to 675 and 35 and Wright State University, we like this location. Our room looked like it hadn't been vacuumed but otherwise the room appeared clean. It was nice to have a coffee maker, small fridge and small microwave in the room. Many restaurants nearby - love that.

Bed and Breakfast

All the employees were very helpful and kind, interacting with guest as they could. House keep it was very helpful, asking everyday if we needed serving or extra linen or anything cleaned. I like the Dove products. The only problem was the body soap, liquid, leaves heavy oil on the tub and was dangerously slippery and there was no mat or non slip strips on bottom of tub. My daughter has bad knee and was frightened she would fall. This needs addressing ASAP. I found it very very slippery too. Other than that it was very good. The noise was very low outside the room even where there were children. That was very surprising and nice. Breakfast was good but too much of it had sugar, not much choice, even the oatmeal. I had a difficult time selecting anything, all the yogurt had sugar too. People that can’t use sugar have a hard time. Maybe you all could get help with this. Would stay again, just bring more of my own food.

Would not return but not awful

Okay hotel for place to sleep. Nice location with access to food/shopping/highway. Did not meet expectations for $170/night. Breakfast was not great. One pancake machine but not working. No waffles. Meat empty. Sink did not drain. Told desk we’d be gone for a few hours but did not improve. Water still there from brush teeth before bed when woke up in morning. Room was clean, bed was fine and shower was under six feet high but otherwise good water pressure. Staff was friendly and reasonably attentive. Not a terrible stay, just not competitive at the price.

Excellent property for the money

Great stay, but we were disappointed that the pool was closed for repair. We chose this hotel for the ratings and pool.

Cleaning must be optional

We have stayed at two Holiday Inns semi-recently, 1 room on the first trip and 2 rooms on the second. All 3 rooms had us questioning if cleaning has become optional at their locations. For this location, the first room had coffee grounds on the counter and the fridge was both not cold enough and dirty. The second room we found multiple hairs on one of the two beds. It could have been brushed off as the cleaning person’s hair falling out while remaking the bed except that it was very obviously 3 different kinds. One of the towels also had hair. I was also quite unhappy with the fact that we requested adjoining rooms and instead couldn’t even get 2 rooms on the same floor. I understand if adjoining isn’t available but that just seemed ridiculous. It seems that the front desk folks are mostly paid to sit anywhere but at the desk and play on their computers or whatever else they want. Being prior military I understand excessive bouts of downtime, but I would at least expect them to be behind the desk so you know they are the employees. Also, $10.50 for 3 CANS of soda? Are you making these brand name drinks onsite yourself? $6 at most could be justified. But I could purchase a whole 12 pack for less. Charging for convenience is such a scam and Holiday Inn loves it I guess.

Our favorite place to stay when in OH! Stayed 3 times over 3 years now and love it every time. Clean, great location with a lot of options, and room gets the coldest we have seen at IHGs. Not to mention the sweetest staff

Clean hotel, friendly staff. My wife hurt her foot on tub drain, reported to staff on morning of may 20th. Listened to our concerns.

This hotel refused to refund my money even though I didn’t even stay there. Every penny people have is important, especially in this economy. I was in a rush to find a hotel and accidentally selected the wrong dates. They refused to refund my money because I wasn’t rebooking with them, even though they didn’t have any available rooms on the night I was attempting to stay. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I had canceled this reservation online, or so I thought I had, we did not stay as this was the wrong date we had reserved. I guess that was my fault for not double checking that my cancellation went through.

I stay here once a month for business trips and am never disappointed. It is incredibly clean, the breakfast is great, coffee is always available, and the staff is courteous. I won't stay anywhere else in Beavercreek.

Great hotel

Hotel staff was super friendly. Check in and out was super easy. Did have an incident where i was charged by both hotels.com and the hotel, but contacted the hotel and got a response quickly and was refunded quickly as well. Overall it was a great hotel. Breakfast was great. Close to many shops and fairfield commons mall.

Great staff, very clean!

The staff was rude and unhelpful. The “business center” was a table in the middle of lobby in Between checkin area and bfast. It was loud and unable to work. My kids wanted to go swimming- no pool towels available at 10am. Asked for bath towels- they did not have any and suggested I hunt down a housekeeper and ask for some off their cart. Staff was very unhelpful and rude. Locked out of room before check out. Room was clean. Towels were dingy.

Don’t expect to receive a forgotten item

The hotel itself was nice. My main issue was that I had left a birthstone necklace that my daughter had given me for Christmas. I didn’t realize til we were several hours away and called them immediately. They were able to describe the necklace to ME and told me they had found it and would ship it to me. Took my credit card info and everything. 1 week later, nothing. So I called. She said they try and ship everything at once. So I said that was fine and waited another week. Still nothing. Called again and she said they were going to ship it. A week later and STILL nothing. Called AGAIN and the girl said she was going to talk to her manager and make sure it ships. It’s been 4 weeks. I gave them almost a full month with 3-4 different phone calls and still no necklace. So I’m assuming they stole it being that they knew exactly what it looked like and 4 weeks later I’ve yet to receive it.

Brilliant stay!

Door keys would not open the room door - desk reset keys twice, original key configuration and 2 resets did not open door. Desk attendent could open room door with master key. Had to be reassigned to a new room - check in process to nearly 20 minutes to open door to room.

Originally put in the wrong room than what was reserved. Staff said ran out of blankets for the pull out bed. Requested a comforter and it never arrived. Staff was out smoking when tried to go get the comforter from the front desk. When the staff member came in, was told they couldn't remember what room called and they took it to the wrong room.

Breakfast was horrible. Had no real cream or milk for coffee, just coffee mate. Food selection was poor, cheap and unhealthy.

Nice room

It took several resets of the key card to get into the room. Coffee maker didn't work. You would think, for the price, that things would be in working order. Otherwise, the staff was great & the room was clean

The staff members were great. The room was clean, and the breakfast was delicious. It was great for a quick weekend visit to WSU.

I wish I was notified about the pool not working, seeing as this was the whole reason in booking this particular hotel.

Wonderful Room

It was a great stay. The room was clean smelled fresh. Bed was comfy, though I’d say maybe get firmer pillows. Overall I had an excellent sleep & delightful stay. I highly recommend staying here. Breakfast was okay just wish they offered scrambled eggs. Great place to stay

The property was nice, but no pool access was a negative point for a newer hotel that advertised this amenity. Also, the tv(s) were not functional with our media which was a negative. The breakfast was good though. I usually stay with a competitor, so unsure of how I will proceed.
