Overpriced for what you get
Older Hilton hotel which is ok for a night, but you can’t expect much. The service is rather slow and there is a lack of cleanliness in the rooms. Not worth more then 100 Dollars a night.
Good standard
The hotel have standard rooms, which are clean. The rooms are quiet at night check-in and check out is standard. There's a garage for your car in the building, but way to the parking is narrow for other cars. Overall, good standard.
I booked a presidential suite and was so disappointed. The carpets were very dirty needed deep cleaning had to ask the housekeeping manager to remove them but was stuck with the bedroom one because it was not a loose carpet.
Amazing
Good location but a few issues: 1. It would be good to get more drinking water for guests. We only got 660ml for the whole day between 2 people and a child, and when we asked for more we were told we would have to buy a 330ml bottle for NAD50 (USD3). 2. AC was not working in our room and you may have to call Maintenance to get it working 3. Also note that parking is not free for guests unless you stay for more than 4 days.
A good Hilton hotel with an excellent rooftop area (small pool and bar). The menu for breakfast and dinner was varied and the food very good quality. I'd prefer a bathroom in a separate room rather than a bath with no privacy and a shower cubicle, given it was a twin room.
very recommendable
very well managed hotel. modern, super clean rooms with extremely comfortable bed and bedding. very friendly and helpful staff. breakfast buffet is fantastic, very good, strong wifi.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Really good stay over two periods at the hotel and highly recommend for location and the really great staff that work at the hotel

One of worst ones
One of my worst experiences, took me almost 1 hour to get a TV remote after calling reception 3 times, and did not hear a sorry neither saw a sorry altitude for that from the reception. Not comfortable pillows.
An oasis
quiteness
quiteness of area
Room was a bit worn. Good location.
The gentleman at reception at 7.30pm on August 30, 2024 went out of the way, made check in easy, accommodated our needs and we truly appreciated that.
Receptionist called Caroline is very helpful and professional
Nice crew
Perfect
Excellent stay with amazing breakfast
We had a fantastic stay at the Hilton. The breakfast was amazing.
The staff were very nice and accommodating but our first room had a horrible mold smell so we had to move. The center courtyard layout and location of party rooms allowed sounds to echo into all the rooms all night. The pool is on the roof and the ceiling of the hotel has a large disconcerting water stain. The restaurant staff are very nice, maybe they could receive more hospitality training and culinary training since they seem eager to learn but the food is not very good and the orders are very slow.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful during check-in and my stay. The location was near a mall and local local crafters.

The room wasn’t so fresh
Really nice rooms and nice rooftop swimming pool and bar area
Property nice and clean and centrally located.. Staff friendly
Centrally located and easy to find. The parking in the basement is run by another business and paid for separately, but is reasonably priced - 100 Namibian for the day. It is only a short walk to Post St Mall. Staff were attentive. Our room was large and comfortable. As with other Hilton hotels I have stayed in though, there is a something of a sense of faded elegance.
Staff was kind- however there were roaches.
Love everything about it
Very nice hotel with good location to Main Street. Great staff and wonderful breakfast.
Hotel no melhor lugar da cidade, tudo maravilhoso!!
Very friendly staff. Clean and comfortable. I would definitely book this again.
Great location
Highly recommended. Very clean and well taken care of. Restaurant and Bar has great views. Would def. Stay there again.
Excellent
Good business hotel located conveniently.
The Hilton is convenient, and I do love staying here specifically for easy access to the craft village right next door so I can speak a few Otjiherero words to the Himba women, and walk to other shops downtown. However the rooms felt a little dated and small. I had just come from staying at the Weinberg which had bigger and more updated rooms. So this is a great option if you get an economical rate.
Luxurious city centre hotel
Very luxurious hotel in the centre of Windhoek. There was a beautiful rook terrace with pool and views of Windhoek. The restaurant and the staff were also great. Overall a very nice place to stay.
Convenient and clean.
Not the best Hilton or best hotel I have stayed at. The blue wall color on the 8th floor looks odd and cheap. There were no towels in my room, and the bathroom door couldn’t stay closed. The help promised to fix the bathroom door never came until I asked again. Buffet dinner at the restaurant on the mezzanine was average and options limited, and I couldn’t chew any of the beef strips included in the buffet, despite Namibia’s claim to be a top beef producer. The seats and carpet in my room were old and stained in places. The Executive Lounge on the 9th floor was a nice touch. So were the rooftop pool and rooftop bar. Benjamin, at the front desk, was a bright spot and did his best to enhance my stay. One hiccup that I faced was that I definitely booked a room with breakfast included on Expedia, yet, after completing the booking process, neither Expedia representatives nor the hotel could find any mention of breakfast in my reservation. Go figure…
Overall I enjoyed the stay. Staff friendly and helpful if there were any issues. The lunchtime buffet lunch could have a greater variety of food. I found it somewhat limited in choice especially Tuesday March 7
Good service, good quality facilities, large room
Everyone was so helpful and friendly!
Location was good. Skybar and Lap swimming pool were great
Loved the hotel. Very friendly and comfortable, and perfect location for touring the city. Near lots of attractions, food and shopping. Breakfast was good. Would recommend to a friend. Liked the Skybar very much for view and atmosphere and pool.
Very comfortable and delightful hotel. Very welcoming beautifully done-up for Christmas. Room So nice and comfy.
The water pressure is fantastic and the area around is pretty walkable with things to do close by including a famous church and the independence museum.
Very friendly person named Ivan welcome us at the airport to pick us up. Hotel generally
Great location for a stopover in Windhoek
Very disappointing.
We booked the Windhoek Hilton at the end of 17 days driving around Namibia. The reason for the choice - the facilities. We had been looking forward to roof top swims, long steams and some spa time. What a disappointment to find that the pool and the wellness centre were closed. I’m sure the refurbishment was needed, but I think it very unfair that we were not informed beforehand. This work was obviously organised months ago, plenty of time to inform guests of the issue. We had a cold room - apparently some rooms could only be cooled, others warmed. Namibia was 2 degrees that morning, cooling was not required! We were moved to a ‘warming’ room but the toilet door would not stay closed (10 cm gap), neither would the shower door – causing a wet floor, followed rapidly by a slip, a bruised toe and a sore back! Having dietary requirements meant we emailed several weeks ahead and were told they would not be a problem – 2 vegans, one with a gluten intolerance. Not a problem? What a joke! It took 4 visits from room service and a trip to the kitchen just to get milk for tea/coffee. Despite promises, gluten free bread/pastries did not appear. The head chef was very helpful, but our second evening another chef who, I think, had never met a vegan, gave us a meal I could have bettered when I was 12. The only veg. on offer was the same as those for breakfast! The staff were lovely. The organisation behind them, amateurish.
only stay one -night leaving hotel à7;30 am just to sleep
Great hotel in Windhoek
This hotel is great for stay in Widhoek. We were very satisfy with staff, room and services provided.
One of the best Hotels in Windhoek - but still room for improvement for facilities like the pool and the selection of resturants.
Great stay. Good location, friendly staff, value for mobey. Beautiful sunset views from sky bar.
Great staff. Amazingly helpful staff. Enjoyed the breakfast.
Very nice hotel. Great breakfast. Staff so willing to help. Great location in the city center.
Not eco friendly at all
We stayed on the third floor. I had to run the shower for 10+ minutes to get hot water. I brought it to the attention of staff and they said that it is even worse for higher floors as the boiler is in the basement. Shocking for a water scarce country.
Na
A fire alarm going off for more than a hour in the middle of the night is unacceptable and poor to say the least.
At 1:22 in the morning an alarm goes off and we are told that their is danger and must proceed to the nearest exit !! Upon checking outside and phoning reception we are told it is a false alarm !! The alarm stays screaming until 2:44 !!!! They cannot find the reset button and are waiting for an outside person to reset the alarm !!! Best is no sorry or how can we make it up to you !!! Just nothing for destroying my paid for much needed sleep !!disappointing and very inconsiderate!!! And then I have to pay for my parking on the premises as well !!!
Lovely stay
Good hotel
Location is good. Restaurant menu could be better in terms of diversity and food value for the price. Very good breakfast! Nice people! Looks like I’ll be a repeat customer!
Very nice hotel in Windhoek.
Everything fine. No dining options after 8 pm due to coronavirus. Paid underground parking 60 $ Namibian for a day ( 4$ US ).
the hotel is modern , very efficient and friendly staff the breakfast is really good and its in an ideal location, will definitely recommend to peoplw
Restaurant and bar service was not acceptable.
While the hotel room and reception services were very good, the service at the restaurant was not acceptable. The restaurant had one other customer (couple) and it took 40 min to get a starter (after reminder). The main course took another 25 minutes and I decided to leave the restaurant. After 30 min the dish was brought to my room. I did not receive it. After restaurant I went to the roof top bar. 4 staff were so "busy" with a limited number of customers that I sat there 15 minutes without no service. I left the bar without getting a drink.
Business traveller
As expected of a Hilton, the hotel is well designed and clean. Its the little things that let it down, like having to ask to have your room cleaned. Plenty of hot water, it just takes time to arrive. Rooftop staff very friendly
First time in Windhoek. Hilton was great
Rooms are excellent but pool is really small and restaurants have limited variety of food
A very well put together operation
A comfortable relaxing stay at the end of our holiday. Just right before our long journey back to the U.K.
Check in was quick and easy. Our room was available prior to normal check in time which was highly appreciated after 24 hours in transit. The room was clean and good size. Beds were comfortable, but would be nice to have flat sheets in addition to duvets. Buffet breakfast choice was good. Lunch/dinner menu can be improved. Chicken curry was so salty it was impossible to eat. Chips portion size for our 10yo kept changing. Pool deck needs attention; there a few loose nails. Overall it was a good hotel for a 2-nights stay.
A great stylish hotel with a relaxed feel. Roof top terrace, is a great place for a sundowner.
Hotel Parking
It was good staying at the Hitel, however just 2 things not iced that I. Was not happy with. 1 - Hotel Parking: it clearly says it is not under Hitel responsibility if any think happen with guest Car, however the Hitel still charges R60 per night. This is not correct, I pay the parking for the hotel to take care to f my car. 2 - Room Card not used for hotel park entry & exit: when ever you are about to enter you need to take an entry card and going off the reception has to provide you with one. It’s just a hard work and expenses for the hotel due to papers and ink spend and also for the guest that he needs to go always to the reception and collect the exit card and some times the receptionists are so busy checking in some people, I think the Hotel can get better on this aspects
Fairly average hotel with terrible service
The front desk staff are friendly, helpful and well trained. I was first put in a room that has a carpet that was detached from the wall. I Was quickly moved to another room as soon as I brought it to their attention. The concierge staff are also on top of their game. The Sky Bar service is very poor. They didn’t attend to us for almost half an hour despite the fact that they were not busy. I have to ask them to take our order. They are not friendly nor do they smile. Their service manager is not good at all. I witnessed her yelling at someone over the phone , asking the person wants and hanged up rudely. Very unprofessional.
Comfortable room. Hasn’t been open long enough to do proper review
One night in Windhoek
Booked the Hilton as a one night stop after flying in and before driving to Etosha. We just expected it to be a safe ‘know what you get’ Hilton, but once we got inside we were impressed, the lobby area is very smart and the room was large and very well decorated. We had dinner in the sports bar and the food was nice, the service in the sky bar was good. Breakfast was also really nice. I enjoyed the stay and was impressed by the hotel, food and staff.
Beautiful hotel in a good location. I wish I had more time there.
Excellent location, close to downtown. Great amenities (gym, pool, etc.) Staff is great to deal with and will try their best to accommodate any request.
The hotel is centrally located and is within walking distance from the tourists sites.
good service and well managed hotel operation. I will stay there again without hesitation.
Good location and efficient service. Airport transfers were arranged by hotel via Hertz. Very good selection for breakfast.
it’s a cold feeling you get from check in until you depart. No personal attention or care is given to customers
Great service, very friendly staff, clean and quiet. The roof top pool and bar were outstanding and the breakfast was excellent. The hostess on the day talked us through every option on the buffet which was unique. Five out of five stars.
Rooftop bar and pool are very nice features. The rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable. Room service was good.
Nice Nice Nice Nice Nice Nice Nice Nice Nice Nice Nice Nice Nice Nice Nice Nice
Great hotel to stay in Windhoek!!!
Fab!
Best location of all hotels. The Main Street is the next junction and the craft market just two junctions away. Beautiful decor and super friendly staff.
Very happy
We overnighted here on arriving Windhoek from USA. They had restaurant facilities on campus. Very good. Hotel was able to provide transfer from the airport at a reasonable cost. All an all, a great place to overnight and recover from our 30 hour trip. We didn’t leave the hotel facilities so I can’t comment on the surrounding area. Our safari provider picked us up in the lobby the next morning and we were off for adventure well rested!!
Good stay, not too service
The service was poor at the bar as it took 1.5 hours to get my food. Also when called for an extra blanket it took very long time and many phone calls. Breakfast was great and transfer to airport very good.
Just loved the location, the service, the hotel itself, the amenities and comfort!!!
Very good, clean and very friendly staff . Breakfast was also great.
Perfect location
The Hilton has a great location in the centre of Windhoek and provides a very comfortable place to stay while exploring the town. Our room was spacious with all the amenities one expects from a Hilton hotel. We appreciated the on-site parking and good free wifi.
Great Hotel
Beautiful hotel with fantastic amenities. The roof top bar is nice and the quality of food is excellent. Great location as well. Room is spacious and clean.
Comfortable bed and pillows, a fantastic shower and lots of space. One of the few places in Namibia with reliable wifi access with a breakfast that is incomparable!!
Room facilities not working properly. Electric light points and room phone non functional.
The staff were very professional and courteous and the rooms were well appointed and quiet
Very handy to the city. Rooms were well appointed and clean. Staff helpful
Wonderful staff at the Hilton. We really enjoyed our stay.
We only stayed 3 separate nights there for transit. Breakfast is included and is quite good. Airport Transfer is reliable and the cost is reasonable. We have no complaint about the facility and service.
