Loved the Japanese style windows in the room, made it feel like more than just another hotel room. Busy foyer with a nice xmas model town display. Friendly helpful staff, great service upon exiting the taxi, and upon departure. Loved the pool and gym. Would stay again.

First time staying here. -bathtub/shower HALF glass door is strange. Why not a full sliding door or a simple shower curtain -no phone charger -no pen, notepad -it’s winter but they give you a Yukata. Just provide normal pajamas -tv size is so small compared to the room size -just put a queen bed in there instead of the twin. More than enough room -

Extremely nice and clean

The property is in excellent conditions. The staff was really great in every sense. A little bit overpriced in the restaurants, but definitely a recommended place to stay.

We stayed for 3 days, the room was not made up on our first day. Thrash was not cleared on the second day. Toilets had leaks, and shower areas were not very clean, spots and marks everywhere. Poor standard for a Hilton Hotel.

Gracious staff and handy location

This hotel was close to the subway station and many eating establishments. The entire staff - front desk, concierge, restaurant staff, door managers - were attentive and friendly. They took the time to make sure we were protected from the extreme heat and knew safety precautions in case of an earthquake. (There had been one farther west, but we were quite unfamiliar with earthquake events.) The buffet is quite varied and well stocked. The attendants at the fitness area and pool were also attentive and helpful. We were greeted each time we entered and were many times offered help without asking for it. Wonderful stay.

First time traveler to Nagoya. Great location to stay right off the Fushimi station (purple line) and enjoyed my one night stay at the Hilton Nagoya. Would recommend!

I upgraded my room when I got there. The room had some wear and tear in it prior to my arrival but it was minimal. Pool facilities regarding the hot tub could be cleaned better so that no grime would show but the PH and acidity levels of the pool were normal and felt great. I liked that the hotel is within walking distance to the subway station and the staff was great! Their breakfast buffet was Snoopy themed!

Hotel surpassed all expectations. Outstanding hotel staff. They are exceptionally courteous & all spoke English when they saw that we didn’t understand Japanese. The breakfast buffet is worth it. We bought it at the time of reservation and saved some $ if you have 2 people or more. Also, the amenities are great. The gym had a full set up to include dumbbells, treadmills, rower, even a Smith machine and a lot of other machines. I’ve seen private membership gyms with less equipment. They also have a full locker room set up, pool, and tennis courts. The location is great. You’re right next to the Fushimi station which allows you to go anywhere on the subway and you can take the #16 bus back to the train station easily by walking one block from the hotel. As far as Nagoya- Everything is really affordable right now if you’re converting from either Korean Won or USD to JPY. But be prepared to get cash at the train station. There are few international atms in Nagoya, so get the cash while you can plus you’ll need it to buy a train ticket. The buses are cash only or IC card. The sushi is great-there’s a fish market past the Pachinko parlor- a 12 minute walk from the hotel & some of the best Tuna sushi and Sashimi we have ever had was served there. Highly recommend the Hilton for this trip. It’s right where you want to be and it’s exceptionally comfortable. Deluxe king included an iron, kettle, Nespresso, cups, empty fridge, glasses, hairdryer, safe, slippers, robes, laundry, kimonos.

the staff was absolutely fantastic. the japanese culture is incredibly hospitable. every staff member showed remarkable respect and courtesy. the property is top notch. the gym is like a full blown gym and had everything, including lap pool and tennis (did not play, however).

The property was clean and in pretty good condition, The major disappointment was in the breakfast which was the same every day.

I couldn't have been happier with this hotel. The room is a little bit smaller than what Americans might be used to, but for couples or single travelers, there's plenty of space. The mattress is comfortable, the room cleaning service is extremely prompt, and the service is impeccable. If you want to have an adult beverage, the drinks in the hotel bar are a little pricey, but there are plenty of places within walking distance where you can get more zen for your yen.

I found an unclean mug inside the cabinet even I was keeping used it everyday. The shower design is not good at all as you will splash the water beyond a small glass partition within the tub. Also, the swimming pool is tiny.The whole property is old and not worth to gain 4 stars awards.

I have stayed at the Nagoya Hilton for years whenever I go to Nagoya and have always had a pleasant stay. They recently rennovated their rooms and replaced carpet with vinyl flooring. During my last stay the guest above was walking around their room and dropping things until 2AM. Never experienced this before at this hotel. I can't afford to pay a premium at the Hilton and not get a good rest. No longer will stay here sadly.

Very convenient central location in Sakae. Staff is very friendly and approachable. Gym was high tech and enjoyed working out. Pool is recreational but good for kids to play in.

Staff is nice and helpful but the location is not so convenient. The day we left was raining but we had to wait for the bus in an open area. Also, change of bed sheets was only every 4 days. Quite scary at this time of coronavirus outbreak.

Location is away from everything, breakfast is terrible! All the croissants were frozen (and not thawed)! Most of the fruits were frozen and served so cold, impossible to eat!

Pillows are terrible. Only one pillow for a double bed and the pillow is also very thin. Even though we asked for extra, just didn’t feel comfortable

Great service. A bit far from the JR statiobn

You get the hilton service as you would expect. The staff are friendly and you feel greeted on arrival. The check in and check out process is smooth. The room is spacious. The only minor issue found was the location. It is 20 minutes walk from the JR Nagoya station. 5 minutes from the local train. If you carry luggage or if you need to catch a train at the JR station or if you return to hotel late- taxi ride would be a better option from the JR station.

Nice but not as special as I thought it would be. A little sad I get none of my Hilton Honors benefits because I reserved through Expedia 😞

A “must-recommend” Hotel

Very good in terms of the room layout design, breakfast, friendly staffs, we enjoyed a lot!

Welcoming and pleasant stay

The hotel was very comfortable, spacious and with an excellent view. The staff were lovely and very helpful and made us feel very welcome. The only downside was the booking site as it wasn’t clear when booking that the price was in US dollars instead of AUD so it ended up being more expensive than we anticipated. I still think it was good value but would recommend Hotels.com make this clearer when booking to avoid confusion by customers.

Comfortable American business hotel

I enjoyed the swimming pool and sauna. My room was beautiful, though I wish that there had been more plugs in the room and a reading light. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. It was a treat to stay here! Generally, I like small Japanese business hotels in unique neighborhoods, but this was a nice break. The area is for business so not much of a walking place.

Impression of the hotel

The concierge service is good. The location is not that convenient. I am disappointed that the shuttle bus service to Nagoya station is cancelled The bathroom is quite small.

Good choice for family

Wonderful service. Room area is big and good for family stay. Many restaurants downstairs so convenient. A lawson’s convenient store just next door. One thing caused not prefect - we can smell a bit cigarette in our room though it’s a non-smoking room.

The hotel is quite a distance from the Nagoya main station but it makes up for it by providing a shuttle from hotel to the station. The hotel is surrounded by many eateries and convenience stores. Great service by all the staff from the hotel.

Convenient location between two main business and shopping districts

Comfortable stay in good location

We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is 3 minutes by subway from Nagoya station or an easy 15 minute walk. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and shopping is handy too. Our room, a king executive was spacious and comfortable. It was clean and everything in good working order. The staff were very efficient and friendly. It is a big hotel and quite busy but we would happily stay here again.

Overall we are satisfied with our stay, courteous and polite staff upon checked in especially Azuma and Kana, both are very cheerful, a BIG compliment to both of them. Just would like to highlight that upon checked in, we had booked a hotel van going to Nagoya station for 6 person but unfortunately the booking was reserved only for 3, so we had to walk there, though they did offer taxis for us to recover the mistake but there was no taxis available for that moment, anyhow we enjoyed the walk and on the way to Nagoya station we discovered many convenient shops for us to grab some fast food, so we did not actually blame them for the mistake, as mistake does happen, just be more alert next time. We also like your mirror in the bathroom as it appears ( a section of it ) clear even after a steamy bath, very good indeed as most of the hotels we went to have to wipe the mirror to see our face. We like the toothbrush with different colours as we can recognise our own toothbrush without mixing it up. We also like the window with wooden slide instead of normal curtain as it makes the room more like Japanese style instead of the normal hotel room. Sad to say we did not have enough time to patron your outlets in your hotel and other amenities as we went out in the morning and only came back late at night, or else we might have discovered many more about the hotel. We are now a member of our HONOR!

Great location great front desk staff, clean and modern hotel. We drove from Fukui to Nagoya for 2 hours by the time we reached the hotel we were tried but the greeting from Hilton Nagoya staff is very friendly and welcome to their hotel. The check in was pretty quick. The room is large compare to other Japanese hotel. Definitely I will recommend this Hilton Nagoya to everyone who would like to visit Nagoya.

Great hotel, great service

Just perfect! Great room, neat, clean, good view. Friendly staff, very good service. We booked an executive room, so more fun! Express check in, a later check out if needed, free drinks and breakfast. Would stay again, it was lovely!

The Bath and Sauna

Location is perfect, coffee shop, restaurants, convenient stores, drug stores are all just next to the hotel. Hotel provides shuttle bus service to Nagoya Station. Subway station is just 4 min walk.

The bed could have been better, firmer, a fan in the bathroom

We were greeted by hotel staff immediate upon arrival. They were very caring and helpful, helped us to carry three large suitcases to our room. The room is so spacious and I love the Japanese style of window, with a cushioned bench. The bathroom is also very modern, except the shower window is rather short hence I needed to be very careful during shower not letting the water splash all over the floor. The bed is so comfy and I had an amazing sleep.

Quality Stay with Hilton!

Super Housekeeping service, very clean and meticulous in tidying up the room. We are all very satisfied! Friendly staffs everywhere in the hotel! Hotel near many restaurants as well as a 24 hours izakaya! Location is pretty centralise to most spots! Taxi fare definitely less than 1000¥, can consider take taxi if you have 4 pax after a tiring shopping day. :) Hotel provides free shuttle bus to Nagoya Castle and station too! But you need to reserve in advance due to small transport. But it helps save you $$ for sure! Overall is a great experience with Hilton! Always! Loving it! Worth the money spent!

Everything was good, except our request for an extra roll-away bed was rejected. Also we were charged extra for the buffet dinner, fortunately we highlighted it during check out and a refund was given, but this should not have happen in the first place.

Great Service

Overall with have a wonderful stay at Hilton . Initially there is some slight problem with the transport from the train station to the hotel but it is very fast resolved and I will like to thank Ms Kojima for her assistances to make our stay wonderful.

Stayed for 3 nights, room was ok but service was under expectation for Hilton. Due to the incompetency of the staff, I had wasted more than an hour just to go to a nearby coin laundry, resulting I can only complete my laundry at 1am. Very disappointing.

The front office and concierge staff with very good service. We had been free upgraded to the deluxe floor. Their staff is able to speak in good English. The spacious guest room is extremely clean with style and having a nice city view. They have their own parking in the basement and just 1300 yen per day, which is cheaper than the carpark nearby. とにかくきれい！！プールで長い時間遊べて子供も満足でした。プールに付いていたジャグジーはとても良かったですが、温泉のお湯が熱すぎて子供は入れなかったので、そこだけ改善して欲しいです。

お部屋も綺麗で、スタッフの方の対応も良かったです！ ただエレベーターの使い方(カードキータッチ)や無料で使える施設などの初心者向けの説明があると助かります…！！ ありがとうございました！
