Best hotel ever

This place is the best hotel in the world due to the incredible staff… Mossab, Nour, Said and Mohammed (ocean blue) were just so kind and made our stay outstanding. The pools, beach, food and rooms were all outstanding… can’t wait to come back.

Best hotel in the world

This hotel only existed in my dreams until last week! It exceeded all expectations and what made it super special were the staff who were so kind and amazing people… special mentions go to Mossab, Nour in the hotel and Said who worked at the beach and Mohammed who managed Ocean Blue diving centre. The rooms were so comfortable, food had so much choice, pools everywhere and a cute train that drove us to the beach.. not that we needed it as the beach was so close with the best reef in Marsa Alam! Everything this hotel did was five star I want to move in! Will be back multiple times a year. Thank you to the best team ever!

Disappointing Stay 😭 Not recommended at All

* It is not permitted to swim in the Hotel' Beach due to corals. So u have to walk to a nearby public beach to swim under yr own responsibility!! This what hotel wrote on beach!! No privacy or safety at all at the Public Beach due to visitors coming from outside.. * Staff are seeking tips for everything they do even for normal room cleaning.. They are not trained at allll ( loud voice, speaking in non descent way about guests, don't respect guests and leave them waiting in queue at dinner and say don't bother, let them wait!!, staring at guests especially on beach.. Etc) * The Chef was sitting with his family on the pool with the uniform * Food is tooooo bad, tasteless.. Snacks is only bad pizza everyday on beach.. They mix juice powder with water and serve u a cup of colored water at breakfast and dinner.. Fresh juice is sold for 4 - 6$.. They also offer any drink for the all inclusive guests with charge after 12 am!! * Animation Team don't exist on beach, only at the pool.. One day they didn't make a night show and offered a party just for guests who pay 10$ and prohibited others to enter 🙄.. * Rooms are old and need renovation.

The nicest staff. Overall experience was good. If I had a negative thing to say it is that the quality of food was not up to Hilton’s standards. The resort is huge, so make sure you got your walking shoes.

The spa services were good, but the all inclusive buffet food was awful

The best bet if you trek to Marsa Allam

This large resort is located about 30 mins north of the remote town of Marsa Allam, so you’ll need transport. It’s over 3 hours to the nearest town of Hurghada but there is an airport for some charter flights. The Go Bus serves Marsa Allam from Cairo (around 9-10 hrs) and will stop outside the hotel if requested. The whole coastline where the hotel is situated is a diving mecca, but this hotel stands out because of the magnificent coral reefs that it sits on that is perfect for snorkelling and is home to many turtles who live in the sea grass between the reefs. The hotel is not new but is in generally good condition. It is very comfortable, with good facilities. There are 4 pools, one of which is huge and perfect for kids. The grounds are extensive and the gardens are reasonably well maintained with plentiful bird life. It’s a 10 minute walk to the beach but they run a shuttle “train” every 20 mins that does run on time and regularly so you can count on it. One negative is the fact that in-room internet costs $10, though Honors members who book through Hilton get it free. There is free (almost unusably slow) wifi in reception. The resort is all-inclusive with buffet-style dining in one central restaurant. The food is not fancy but is plentiful and tasty with a good spread and the service is cheerful. The service is good in general and staff really go out of their way to help. They generally speak good English. Overall the resort is great value for money.

Not the Hilton standard

The resort is huge, but still well-arranged. There are many sign posts so you can't get lost. There's a tram every 20mins to bring you to the beach and back - but in my opinion, that's for the very lazy people. From our hotel room, we only had a 7min walk to the beach, so it's really not that far. The beach is very nice, but you need to be aware where you can go swimming, because there's a big natural protected area since the coral reefs are right next to the beach. The hotel staff was nice except one guy down at the beach bar. He was always very grumpy to us everytime we ordered something. If you want to taste delicious Egyptian food, or even good food, you will be disappointed here. We were traveling around Egypt for two weeks, and the food at the Hilton Resort was the worst we encountered. At least it's edible. And you have to be lucky if you're wifi works. Mine only worked in the lobby and at the beach. Sometimes it worked in the room, too, but most of the time, I couldn't even log in. I asked at the reception and they tried to help me by chaning the IP-address - but then it worked in my room but didn't work at the pool anymore. I wonder how many people would have this problem if the resort was fully booked and everyone tried to log in...

Hilton Marsa Alam Again

Overall very good resort. Staff are friendly and don’t waste efforts to make you happy. Food and service are very good. Beach is excellent and diving center is very good.

Ein wirklich sehr schöner Club, und sehr gepflegte Anlage, wundervolle Korallenbänke kann man ganz easy vom Strand weg erkunden, wenn man Schildkröten sehen mag, hat das Nachbarhotel eine dieser langen Brücken, da kann man für 5 € sein Glück versuchen :) das Essen war auch mehr als ok alles in allem war’s ein super Urlaub 😊

I didn't like when hotel closed my room and tell if you don't pay again take your thing and go out

The Hilton was amazing. Marsa Alam is difficult to get around so an all inclusive best fit out needs. My only complaint is the pool was too cold. But we liked the food, staff was great and very friendly. The hotel offered really great services for people spending a week or more. They have entertainment and activities along with a variety of restaurant options.

The property is in poor condition not well maintain, I expected much better for Hilton. The food quality is also very poor and the restaurant looks and feels like a cantine. On a positive side the rooms are very quite and clean.

Awesome Resort

Fantastic vacation, excellent sandy beach, perfect rooms and very good food.

What I liked most is location. The coral reef starts about 10 yards from the shore and it is kept pretty much intact. Rooms and pools are excellent. The major issue is restaurants and food. In March 2019 they sold more all inclusive packages than their facilities can technically accommodate. There are two small restaurants on the premises and a food court that remained me a typical high school food court with average food quality and lines everywhere. I spoke to Hilton HHonor manager and she made reservations for us to one of the restaurants for three nights. Otherwise, I had to get up early in the morning and try to make reservations in the hotel lobby in person (no phone calls...). Last but not least, beware of their vine. It is a red substance that is delivered to the hotel in 5 gallon plastic containers and dispensed through the soda taps, somethimes with bubbles, sometimes as is... My suggestion to the owners of the resort is to find an honest Feed and Beverages manager as soon as it is technically possible.

Great hotel. The area at the beach where you can actually swim is too far of a walk.

Overall, decent stay

It's a nice hotel. Great location. Friendly staff. The downside is we got food poisoning the first day of our stay and we couldn't use the "all exclusive" we were upsold on check-in. I would stay here again, just be careful of ice cubes on the beach if you're a foreigner!

Good food and friendly staff

On arrival i was offered an upgrade to 'all-inclusive' for only a few extra dollars ... the rooms are clean and comfortable, although the minibar was empty. I also made a few requests through the Hilton Honours club website which never happened. these things rarely do in Africa i have found, so i havent marked the hotel down for that at all. The entertainment at night wasnt the best, although they certainly put in a lot of effort... The shops were extortionately expensive, as you would expect really ... you can buy the same fake goods for much cheaper in town. Pool area is excellent. Bar staff fantastic. The only real problem i had was with some of the guests not being particularly friendly towards Americans! and i really must point out that they were Europeans too !!! ... !

Nice hotel but personnel not top.

Beautiful Experience in Marsa Alam

I would recommend the hotel to any family who wants to enjoy a beautiful experience in Marsa Alam. I also prefer to go for half board or all inclusive option to avoid the need to go to marsa alam city or port ghalib.

Great resort but be prepared to stay the whole time in it because there's not much to do in Marsa Alam outside of the hotels. We had a few hick-ups during our stay but Michael the front desk manager was more than excellent in resolving everything and sorting our issues out to a satisfactory Hilton standard. Will be staying there again but may be this time will rent a car to go to more diving sites.

It could do better

I booked Hilton Marsa Alam for the third time. Checking in was smooth, staff were friendly and helpful. I had a pool view room which was very clean and spacious. I was very disappointed with the quality of the food at the main restaurant and it is definitely a step back from last year. I ordered a chicken sandwich at the bar and it was a total disaster as I was given a dry bread with a pieces of chicken inside (as the dry as the Egyptian desert). Again, I ordered a pizza in the room and I have to say it was possibly the thickest pizza I have ever seen in my life :-) as thick as my super king seize mattress. The entertainment was not bad but it could be better! One particular girl called Sally was absolutely fantastic, very friendly and genuine , sorry Angelica you are just not a natural!!! Overall, pleasant stay with few niggles that could easily be rectified.

Fantastic resort on wonderful sand beach

We feel happy once we enter the resort main gate. Staff are professional enough to make you feel at home. Food is good with a lot of varities to suite everyone taste. Sand Beach is wonderful for swimming, snorkeling and diving. We are looking forward to our next stay at Hilton Marsa Alam Nubian Resort.

Wonderful Oasis

A wonderful oasis with absolutely amazing snorkeling and scuba diving

terrific house reef!

House reef all it was cracked up to be , turtles, rays, turkey fish, etc etc etc, and the reef/security staff especially Mustaffa, were outstanding, corralling unruly, ignorant tourists around the ropes(literally ropes) so the coral remains as protected as possible. hotel is very grand, very useful running track, tastefully decorated and the staff is efficient and polite. poor Egypt and its beleaguered hoteliers that have to cut rates to allow international riff raff to cheapen the experience. Weird rule about men dining in "short" shorts was enforced, too bad some of the women weren't sent back to change also, I'm sure most of the fashion offenders forgot that you should wear something that covers your bum when going for dinner! the food was pretty dismal except for Egyptian theme night (theme night is also a vague concept and you can get just about everything every night)..the beer was always cold however. the "shows " were truly lousy but you don't go there for the entertainment above the water, the quality of the snorkeling was great..lots of outside people use the reef too, so you have to pick your time to go otherwise its very crowded in the water. Go and enjoy the snorkeling, the beer , and the lovely beach.

several swimming pool, including one with beach sand and another one for relaxation. plus the kid and main pool. the staff is extremely friendly and professional. a big area for kids and you can leave them out there with the assigned supervisors

Perfect place for family vacation

Fantastic 3 years old hotel on amazing bay "Abo Dabab". Sandy beach, house reef, big rooms and good food. It was the 7th time for us at Hilton Marsa Alam where we really enjoy the hotel facilities and friendly staff. Everything was perfect except one problem regarding housekeeping, when we were back to the room after lunch to take rest before night activities and we found the room was not cleaned although we left the room at 9 morning and we're back at 2 pm. We had to call the reception 3 times before we escalate to Duity Manager, who solved the problem by 3:30 pm. Starting from next day, we didn't face the problem again, as they clean the room once we leave at the morning. It seems that the Housekeeping guy was new and didn't get the required training to know how to deal with the guests. Otherwise, everything were up to our expectation and we are planning to go back by June this year for diving.

Family relaxation holiday

It was a fantastic family holiday. Resort facilities' conditions are very good. Rooms are big with balcony over looking sea or gardens and equipped with 42" plasma TV, mini par, hair dryer, iron, A/C, fan, shower tube, desk, High speed internet (surcharges applied except in lobby area it is free wireless access) and international telephone. It is very comfortable room with Nubian decoration style. There are 4 outdoors swimming pools (one of them is for adults access only and 3 of them heated in winter). The most wonderful thing is the beach, where we enjoyed a sandy beach on a small bay (Abu Dabab). We were luck to sea 3 big turtles, reef shark and a huge dogongol (sea Caw) while snorkeling in the bay as well as the live corals and color fish. There were good varity of food and restaurants in the resort where we enjoyed the open buffet in the main restaurant and the a la card dinner in the pool restaurant, Nuba lounge as well as the oriantal food restaurant (presenting Egyptian food). Staff are friendly and they learn quickly what you prefer and like during dining (drinks, deserts, etc) so, we felt at home starting from first night. Also, I enjoyed a daily foot massage (of course surcharges applied) but I got discount for a full course of 4 sessions. I returned to work very fresh after this holiday and my colleagues commented on my positive attitude after I refreshed my mind. I strongly recommend it to all of you, as you deserve it. Enjoy :-)

Wonderful Vacation

This hotel is one of the best hotels that I have ever visited in my life (I have been to 30 hotels at least). The rooms, service & cleanliness are remarkable. They also have a kids playing area with child care servise. It was one of a kind hotel.

Beautiful hotel but not enough qualities services

Beautiful hotel accommodation, close to the sea, however "re-worked"food at the buffet is not good, no private restaurant. The diving center is not serious, apart from the business owner.

Good stay

the hotel is a very well laid out hotel with pools not overcrowded due to there being 4 and the sea a short distance to either walk or driven there by a electric car! we had a pool view which was good getting out of bed straight into the pool, still the towel problem of people reserving sun beds and not turning up until later in the day, perhaps this could be ruled by the hotel, staff very helpful except the little man on the beach going round shouting volley ball! volley ball! in there best English. Over all excellent stay if you just want to eat drink and sleep.

Loved it

Could not fault this hotel. The service was outstanding, and the facilities and food were great. Snorkelling was wonderful and easy from the hotel's beach.

Hilton Marsa Alam (Red Sea)

This is an extremely well-run hotel. The facilities are new, bright, and in general have a "happy" feeling to them. The location is somewhat remote, but the offshore reefs and diving are a prime motivator for the location. Recommended if you want a less developed part of the Red Sea and very good diving.

Hilton - what All Inclusive should be like

Great resort - ideal for families. Me and a friend had a great week being pampered by the Hilton staff. All inclusive was above expectations. Great buffé food, great snacks at the bars. Local beer was OK - but do skip the local wine and wisky... The room was spacious, modern, clean. Highlights: Private beach have a very good reef for snorkling. There is also a good diving center at hotel & beach. Plus for american pool table and ping pong. Extra bonus: HUGE turtles 100m from private beach, in the middle of the bay. At 4m depth these 1,4m big turtles happily eat the see grass while snorlers and divers admire them from some respectable meeters. Pure awsome, hard to beat. Only issues: Location is "in the desert, 400m from private beach". Closest urban areas are not worth visiting... Ie. no shopping, no local restaurants/food. Also, only saw 2 women in the staff for the whole week. Otherwise staff is very helpful. Will not return since one week is enough. Too much "pamering" for me - too little genuine Egypt.

The hotel is in a very remote location—great for diving, but there’s little else to do. The pool and the sea were beautiful, and the view from the room was nice. However, the food was disappointing, and the nearby towns were overcrowded tourist traps. An okay stay, but not ideal if you’re looking for variety.

Mitigé

Assez mitigé sur notre séjour, en effet bien que le resort soit très agréable ainsi que les chambres, le personnel et le service. Nous avons eu la sensation d’être enfermé. En effet, vous ne pouvez sortir de l’hôtel qu’en utilisant les taxis et services de transferts proposé par l’hôtel à des tarifs exorbitants (40€ pour aller à port ghalib !). Surtout ne tombez pas malade car la seule « pharmacie » que vous trouverez est celle de l’hôtel où à titre d’exemple on vous demandera 20€ pour une tablette de strepsil, du grand n’importe quoi. Le gros désavantage de cet hôtel est qu’il se trouve au milieu de nul part donc vous êtes tenus d’utiliser les services proposés par l’hôtel à des tarifs plus élevé qu’en Europe ! Hormis cela, sa situation sur la plage d’Abu dabbab est très pratique bien que son accès est réglementé par des horaires stricts (plus d’accès dès 18h) à titre de comparaison l’hôtel voisin se trouvant sur la plage lui aussi ne réglemente pas l’accès à la plage par des horaires.

Pretty Good But Not 5-Star

The premises of the resort were pretty good, almost of 5-star level. The total experience did not reach 5-star level, however, and here’s why: - The wifi was a joke. I haven’t experienced a wifi this bad in a hotel for 15-20 years. Here it was below 1-star level. - Food variety was pretty good but quality was about 3-star level. Beverages were of 2-star level. Only the seafood restaurant at the beach reached 5-stal level, except for the quality of the wines, which was also about 2-star level. - The staff was mainly friendly, helpful and polite, reaching a 4-star+ level. - Entertainment and activities left quite a bit to wish for, reaching maybe a 3-star+ level. - The room was okay, although not quite 5-star level. The bed was barely okay. All in all, the room reached a 4-star+ level. - The gym was pathetic. - The beach and the coral reef in front of it were pretty good. - There were a lot of flies in the outdoor areas.

Das Resort können wir nur sehr empfehlen. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und wunderschön gestaltet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und fleißig. Zur Verpflegung können wir nur sagen, hervorragend. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Très bien pour du Snorkeling

De loin le meilleur emplacement dans le secteur de Marsa Alam pour les amoureux de snorkeling : l'hôtel dispose d'un accès direct à la baie la plus intéressante de la région. L'hôtel est propre et entretenu, le personnel globalement agréable. Les repas compris dans la formule "tout inclus" sont corrects, mais malheureusement beaucoup moins que lorsqu'on souhaite ajouter des extras. Seules les "animations" et spectacles sont bien en dessous du niveau général, avec un programme rarement respecté et une équipe semblant peu investie pour se renouveler d'un jour à l'autre...

Perfekt für jeden Schnochel Trip

Personale, vicinanza alla spiaggia di Abu Dabbab e struttura rendono questo resort perfetto per una vacanza.

Das Buffet ist zu allen Mahlzeiten reichhaltig und zumeist auch qualitativ hochwertig. Neben Speisen, die sich an vornehmlich europäische und amerikanische Touristen richten gab es auch immer eine schöne Auswahl an landestypischen Speisen. Die Zimmer waren groß und gut ausgestattet. Alles sehr sauber. Das Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Zum Hotel gehört ein eigener bewachter Strandabschnitt mit Bar, bei der man ganztägig Getränke, Eis, und kleine Snacks bekommt. Vom Strand sind es nur 100m bis zum Einstieg ins Riff. Das Riff ist eines der schönsten und am besten intakten an der Küste von Marsa Alam. Daneben gibt es an den Seegraswiesen in. der Bucht jeden Tag große Meeresschildkröten zu sehen.

Had voor Hilton beter verwacht

mooi hotel, met ruime schonen kamers. Eten is niet echt warm, fruit vaak hetzelfde. Heb na lange tijd van veel vakantie weer eens de gehele vakantie last van mijn darmen gehad. Animatie vonden wij slecht, kinderachtig, begint niet op tijd en loopt niet lekker door. Strand is zowel lopend als met een treintje bereikbaar maar ook goed te lopen. Is een waanzinnig mooi rif voor de deur waar je bij het hotel niet in mag, je moet ruim 500 mar lopen voor je het water in mag. Hotel taxi service maakt verschil in prijs voor buitenlanders en mensen van egyptische afkomst.

Der Gesamteindruck ist positiv, wenn auch die Durchsetzung der Regel lange Hosen am Abend im Hauptrestaurant zu tragen etwas rückständig ist.

La situación y la playa excelentes

El personal de recepción muy amable. Las habitaciones amplias y bien mantenidas. La playa del hotel excelente, especialmente para las personas que no son jóvenes ni grandes nadadores ,ya que el arrecife lo tienes allí mismo sin esfuerzos. La comida del buffet no fue de mi agrado, aunque reconozco que eso es muy personal.

Maten var väldigt god och det fanns mycket att välja på. Matsalen innomhus var ganska okej men ljudnivån var väldigt hög. Matsalen utomhus var tyvärr inget vi ville använda för att det var mycket fågelbajsa på både borden och stolarna. Personalen gjorde självklart vad de kunde och städade men tyvärr inte tillräckligt för att det skulle vara fräscht att äta där ute. Rummet vi hade under vår vistelse var mysigt och fint. Stranden vid Hotellet och solstolar var ingen höjdare. Abu Dabbab stranden lite längre bort där du kan bada och snorkla.

Une semaine agréable à la mer rouge

Nous avons séjourné à l'Hilton Marsa Alam au mois d'août 2020, en pleine pandémie du Covid-19. L'hôtel était quasiment vide, ce qui nous a permis de bénéficier du calme et des piscines rien que pour nous. La plage est belle mais n'offre pas un accès direct à la mer. Il faut marcher quelques centaines de mètres afin de pouvoir se baigner. Une magnifique barrière de corail se trouve devant l'hôtel et offre ainsi la possibilité de faire de magnifiques snorkling et d'y voir les nombreuses tortues qui se trouvent dans la baie. Côté restauration, cela n'a rien d'exceptionnel. Comme la plupart de ces hôtels de type club, il s'agit de buffets. Leur qualité est assez standard mais les plats ne sont pas originaux et il manque de la nourriture traditionnelle. De plus, les plats ne varient que peu et on fini par s'en lasser. La chambre était belle, grande, conforme à la qualité Hilton. Les employés étaient agréables et respectueux, ce qui n'est pas partout le cas en Egypte. Concernant les mesures de distanciation sociales, celles-ci semblaient globalement très respectées: Couverts au restaurant désinfectés et placés sous cellophane, transat à la plage nettoyés après chaque client, port du masque et des gants par la plupart des employés, etc. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons passé une très belle semaine à Marsa Alam et je n'hésiterai pas à retourner à l'Hilton si à l'avenir j'ai la chance de retourner dans cette région.

Tout était très bien ! La chambre très grande et propre. 2 piscines chauffées sur 4 mais pas beaucoup de monde (en février). Le personnel.du restaurant très souriant.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura dal 19.12 al 26.12 trovandoci benissimo, personale eccellente e cortese hanno accontentato tutte le nostre richieste senza mai dire di no. La suite era meravigliosa: due camere, due bagni, di cui uno enorme con vasca idromassaggio, due verande che si affacciavano sulla piscina, tutti i giorni ci hanno sempre portato frutta fresca, dolci, bevande, acqua, era presente un bollitore per te e tisane più una macchina della Nespresso e tutti i giorni ci lasciavano le cialde. Compresa con la suite c'era la connessione wi-fi, la pulizia era impeccabile, l'ambiente sempre molto accogliente e studiato nei particolari.... inoltre vorrei fare i miei complimenti per la cena romantica che ci hanno organizzato nella camera, allestendo tutto con tavolo, candele, il cibo era ottimo e vario, c'era una persona che appositamente per noi ci portava le portate....gentilissimo e gentile.... La struttura era dotata di 4 piscine, quella che abbiamo provato noi era anche riscaldata, 4 ristoranti di cui uno in riva al mare, un'altro in piscina, poi c'era quello centrale vicino la reception e in ultimo un'altro che faceva cucina italiana....Questo soggiorno è stato bellissimo, a me e mia figlia di 15 anni ci hanno trattato come delle regine, il mare di fronte la struttura era stupendo, appartenente a una riserva naturale, la barriera corallina in quel punto era meravigliosa e siamo riusciti a vedere la tartaruga marina gigante, la razza, tantissime varietà di pesci

A great hotel as usual I spent my Fifth time there and always happy to enjoy marine life, beach and the Hilton. Bedrooms are really comfortable especially if u take king size bed. Many different swimming pool including one just for adults. The food is good even so look repetitive but all hotels in egypt are like this. I highly recommend the diving center Blue ocean located in the beach and have on office at Hilton. If you want to dive with sharks, then go to elphinstone. Thanks for Mossad Mahmoud and Waled the one cleaning well the bedroom.

Bene, personale gentile, pulito, cibo internazionale... leggermente ripetitivo per noi Italiani. Struttura con giardini meravigliosi tenuti benissimo. Tuttavia la sala colazione/pranzo/cena avrebbe bisogno di un po’ di restiling. Personale tutti molto cortesi e si fanno in quattro per accontentare le tue richieste. Unico neo... mance... ma in tutto l’Egitto... Diving a cui si appoggia: molto bravi e competenti. Centro massaggi: molto buono. Direi che alto livello x una struttura con clientela internazionale.

Il fischio di chiusura della piscina potrebbe essere spostato almeno alle 18.30 (oggi é alle 18), L accesso al mare è un po’ scomodo per via della barriera corallina orizzontale ma l insenatura di abudabi è la più bella anche per tutto ciò che si trova a livello naturalistico (pesci tartarughe etc). Per il resto, ottima struttura è bellissima vacanza!

Schöne Anlage - Essen war schlecht.

Die Anlage ist sehr schön und gut gepflegt. Strand ist ganz nah und top. Das Essen ist schlecht und führt zu einer schlechte Bewertung.

Buona posizione sulla baja ottima spiaggia, buon servizio in spiaggia, ottimo diving x immersioni C'e da migliorare il servizio bus navetta dall'hotel alla spiaggia che e molto scarso in termini di tempistica, pochi passaggi Il cibo e ' a parere nostro ma anche di altri italiani che abbiamo conosciuto molto molto scadenti sia in qualità che come proposta, pasta precotta, riscaldata, frutta scarsa e non di stagione, c'erano solo mele e banane, mai un frutto stagionale, i dolci solo arabi E' il punto più negativo
