I’ve been staying here for 20 years because of the location to downtown and the energy corridor (by car). Looking a bit tired in places now.

I was a bit disappointed in this Hilton as I always stay at this chain. I thought there was a giant spider in my room, but it turned out to be the frayed edges of the carpet which also had what looked like pee stains right by the door/ entrance to the room. I had to run the water for almost 3 minutes to get hot water, this wasn’t a big deal, but when trying to take a shower, I either burned my skin with scalding hot water or it was cold- seemed to be no way to regulate the shower temperature.
Property is in a nice location with easy access to things in the area.

The first room we got had a broken heater that as soon as was turned on had a terrible gasoline smell, so strong felt like the room is going to be on fire. They first didn’t even want to switch our room because we booked through Expedia, after we insisted and explained we’re worried that the room is unsafe and it feels like we’ll be poisoned with pollution the accommodated change. But the next room we got was also very bad. Overall very unhappy with the room comfort level and their service.

Our HVAC wasn’t responding to our temperature room setting couldn’t get our room warmer than 59 degrees and it was cold outside so it would’ve been nice to come back to a warm room. Front desk had to move us in the middle of the night, pick all stuff and move to another room that was actually smaller than what we originally had.
Fridge was broken and water had leaked all over the carpet and wood. He did replace it. Ice machine on our floor wasn’t working. Did not seem like place was thoroughly cleaned throughout. No bags on the trash cans, hair from previous person on the floor.

Do not do not do not do not do not stay here!!!!!!!! Please, please please let this be a warning to you. Whoever is reading this do not book this hotel. You will be truly and utterly disappointed. I had to request different rooms and transferred to three different rooms. All of them were utterly unacceptable. My first room had black and pink mold around the toilet, tub, the tub was broken and shards of the plastic lining of the tub were cutting my feet while I was taking a shower. Also, the sink in the bathroom did not drain. Also, I had an adjoining room which I did not ask for in the bottom of the door. Had a carpet pulled up so you can see under my room if you were to walk by in the hallway. The second room I moved to I made sure to inspect before I put any of my stuff down – and saw the bathroom floor was dirty. Disgusting. The manager later told me that was just the tile … The last room they transferred me to was on the penthouse for the front desk manager apologized to me profusely. This was the room I stayed in as I was not allowed to get a refund since I booked through a third-party . This room had some black mold in the sprinklers, which look like they haven’t been cleaned for years, and also some mold around the tub not as much as the first room, but still as this room was not an adjoining room I did feel a bit safer until the first night in this room someone tried to open my door. The second day in this room my toilet over flowed .. with just a little toilet paper.

I had a disappointing experience at this hotel. I paid extra for a deluxe room and executive level, expecting a higher level of comfort, but the room was surprisingly small. Despite booking for four people, only one chair was provided. When I requested two additional chairs, they brought two office chairs, one of which had a broken leg. The bed was too small for two people, and the mattress was overly firm, making it quite uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the bed was unusually high.
Great property for a stay for a big birthday party
Excellent except noisy- from both sides.This room had adjoining doors on both sides and very thin walls.
Overall, the property was on par with other Hilton properties. However, the room that I had stayed, 715, had drainage flow issues. Both the water sink and bath tub have water flow issues. I am not sure if it is with this room only o overall with other rooms.

Great location, property is old and could use a bit of renovation and facelift. Night staff was friendly but day staff not so much. Over all an average sub par hotel.

This hotel is horrible! The outside was falling apart. The lobby was unkept( paper on the floor, needed to be swept. The hallways were dingy and old looking and smelling. My room was stuffy and there was mold in the bathroom. I was unable to stay here. No called to get a refund from Travelocity with no luck. The virtual assistant kept going around in circles… I kept being put on hold and I eventually hung up. I had been traveling all day and needed to find a clean place to stay. Really disappointed in Hilton and Travelocity!
The area seems good, and the hotel was all good for most of the stay, but on the last night of my stay, it seems something had gotten into the bathroom sink and made a mess that seemed to be smelly. I was in a hurry on the way out and didn't report it to the staff though.
For the price we paid(over $200 for one room), we were dissapointed as there is limited parking, no small fridge in room, and not even complimentary water bottles in our room. On the positive side, the staff was friendly and rooms were clean.

There were doors with adjacent rooms in our bedrooms. The neighbor spent hours at the phone - and we couldn't sleep. And he smoke in the morning; the smoke went in our bedroom.

Reserved a room with 2 Queen beds e/ breakfast included. Arrived at 2:30 am, assigned us a room but the room was used by someone who checked out but not fixed yet. Went to the counter and upgraded us a one bedroom - suite. The suite is quite run down. The next morning ,went down for breakfast , the lady at the restaurant entrance called the front desk and verified the breakfast was prepaid. After dinning for 10 minutes , on our way out from the breakfast, we were told to pay. The lady who verified with the front desk earlier did not say a word anymore. Multiple servers urged us to pay the bill and kept saying I need to work it out with the front desk. We were in a rush and ignored them told them we are heading to the front desk and checking out also. While talking to the front desk, a server from the resutairant showed up with a bill. The front desk person told them it was prepaid. What a mess in this hotel ! The results staff are rude and have no sense. All they need to do is verify with the front desk again to straighen this out. The lady at the restaurant entrance has been behaving hostile to me since I stepped into the restaurant. Afterall, not a happy not comfortable stay.

BECAREFUL at this hotel, my TRUCK got stolen at the hotel parking lot and they basically do nothing and the management didnt even want to talk to me nor release the CCTV. 3 vehicles stolen in a month from the same hotel.

As HGV owners we are hilton only customers. This hotel does appear to be on the older side with the carpet in our room having patches missing, terrible lighting, and the ceiling in the bathroom practically falling apart, which honestly is whatever considering I was here for business only. My biggest complaint is the fact that the bathroom had pubic hair over the floor and on the shower walls.
This hotel is aging, and you can tell. Bathtub drain was broken and didn’t drain water properly, so there was a bunch of water I had to shower in. The ceilings are popcorn, the door hardware is old and disgusting. The room was clean, the staff was excellent. But Hilton seriously needs to put money into this property.

The lobby and bar area is dated and not many areas to lounge. The furniture is dated and windows looked extremely dirty from the outside.
A disgrace to the Hilton name and rude unhelpful staff. As a Hilton member i was told when called a week before it would be Honoured however when i got there i was told no and wanted to raise a compliant to a manager. I wasnt greated with a smile and was just given my room key without even telling me where all facilitiea are considering it was 10.30 at night. For Hilton not even a $1 bottle of water and when asked was told i have to buy it or go out and get one. Next morning no breakfast as a hilton reward member and when asked to raise a complaint again and i want to speak to the manager i was told there are no.managers until 3pm.every day. 6 days later still no addressing of my issues and not a smile from front desk or a morning. Shower you have to run for 30mins to get hot water and same as tap to wash. Rooms are a good size but look very 70's Tv wouldnt work correctly and when engineer who was polite apologied and said it would take 10 days so unable to stream or buy mobies to watch. Overall very poornand would never recommend or stay there again
Very old hotel We had problems with power and Air condition
I needed a room because the ac in my home was broken. I was able to book and check in fairly quick. The desk staff is friendly and courteous. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and overall it was a quiet stay. I didn't use the pool as the weather was poor. But I'd definitely stay here again.
The view from my room was absolutely gorgeous! Unfortunately there was a smell of mildew and thank goodness for my air purifier. If I didn’t have it, I would have had to check out. Also there was a noise in the vent that kept happening and o don’t know what it was from either the elevator or the ac unit itself but it kept me from sleeping fully. The pool was also not very clean but it had been raining so that’s understandable. It wasn’t a horrible stay but I will definitely not be back nor would I recommend the place. The view saved it from.a horrible review and the people were nice.

No daily room service. I purchased bed and breakfast but I ended up paying $53 breakfast daily saying it’s not covered by third party booking. We couldn’t even get 2 bottles of water per day. There was no shower gel the entire 5 days stay even when we asked for it nothing was done. Staff are rude and argumentative all the time. Our honeymoon was ruined entirely 💔
Dirty, dusty, wall paper peeling off the bathrooms, sink and tub not cleaned properly. It was overall disgusting.

The property was ok. It has what you need but no microwave in the room. The room had like a moist feeling to it. Don't know if its due to the humidity or what but it felt icky. We had to leave our ac on to try to dry it put a bit. Other than that the stay was ok.

Gross. Disgusting. The carpet in my room was greasy. The walls were stained. The bathroom was gross. They don’t communicate with people who have reservations booked with them after a storm takes electricity and coming from out of state, that didn’t help me. The generator went out. The water pressure was low so I couldn’t shower. It was hell staying here and their customer service to rectify the situation is trash. At this rate Hilton isn’t even reputable to me anymore. I used to hold them in high regard but I’m better off going with AirBNB. I’m so grossed out. What makes carpet greasy??????????????
Good hotel in a nice neighborhood
Good hotel in a nice area of Houston. Extra towels in room would have been preferred. We were the the weekend of Hurricane along Beryl and the power went out along with hot water. It would be nice if the hotel had backup generators that could power the rooms also instead of just the hallways and the elevators
No power, no AC in 100 degree weather, water in the shower was freezing.

When checking in I asked for a room on a higher floor and was told there was nothing available. However I discovered mold in the bathroom on the 2nd floor. I was then moved to the 9th floor (again after being told there wasn’t any rooms on a higher floor than the 2nd) Someone tried to enter my room 3 times. I alerted the front desk and she brushed it off saying that maybe it was a new houseman. The room on the 9th floor was just as bad.

The staff went above and beyond the Hilton standards of care for us. We will never forget there diligences and efforts. If I was to rate them on a scale of 1to 10 my rating would be 20! We had a difficult journey home, after an unexpected illness during our vacation. We deeply appreciated their help.
