Housekeeping was awesome. Our room was the cleanest hotel room I've ever stayed in. 0nsite parking was $55 a night in addition to the cost of the hotel room. As long as you know the parking situation up front, you can plan for it. Wish I'd have known.
Great, amenities, service all great
The only thing we were disappointed about here was the shower, it was like it was peeing on you!! C'mon man, they make pressure pumps to help with that!!
Center area, very convenient for shopping, eating, walking to the beach. Sometimes could be too crowded.
Loved being on third floor near the pool area
Super clean property in a great area.
The area is very convenient, shops are within walking distance. Room was cleaned everyday, which helps a lot since the air in the room smells wet. We are not happy getting charged extra for parking when we checked out. We only parked for two days, we repeatedly told the front desk receptionist when she was printing the receipt, she still charged us for additional night. We also got charged additional about 50 USD everyday for resort fees. When we were trying to understand the additional charges, she became very impatiently and started serving the next customer. When we questioned the receipt, she blamed it on us for not letting her know how many night we parked, which was very rude because we told her that twice already. She was an Asian old woman. We eventually texted the property and received the correct receipt for refund but the process wasn’t pleasant and if we didn’t have extra time before checking out, we would have missed the additional charge.
No
The staff and room were really nice
Went for a basketball game vs U of Hawaii. Team stayed there too. Everything was good.
There’s no doubt it’s an older property, but it’s in a good location. Front Desk is never friendly. Also, have to beg them for a bottle of water. It’s only for Hilton Rewards Members. Just make it available to everyone. It’s filtered water. Not exactly “a huge perk.” Rooms can get noisy. If you’re lucky, you’re staying next to some seniors. If not, the TV will blast until 2am and the kids will start crying at 5am. People go in the pool in street clothes. Not only that, in street shoes. Tweens jumping off the rock formation even next to posted signs that say not to. Nobody seems to care. If you enjoy a quiet vacation, stay somewhere else. Kind of annoyed I’ve stayed there over 10 times but if you book through a third party, you can’t collect points.
Would be nice if breakfast was including as well as parking. Otherwise it was good.
Liked the quiet in this very small room. Lighting switches were confusing.
It was a very walkable location. We were able to get to the beach relatively quickly, as well as different restaurants and entertainment.
Loved the properties location the only thing we did not like was their "restaurant" - the hostess was definetly not friendly or helpful and you cannot room charge..breakfast was very limited and so so but the property itself was great
Next to the markets.
good/
Great location, wish the bed/pillows were more comfortable
Would like 1/2 and hall in the coffee area and rooms! Pool was great. Staff helpful. Room clean.
NA
Everything was good the only problem was that our AC was not cold no matter how low the temperature was.
Wonderful stay in Waikiki
This is the perfect location for Waikiki Beach. A room with a city view is the perfect way to wind down a day of sightseeing on the island. The staff members are super friendly. Glad I chose this location.
This is an old hotel with musty smelling rooms. We had allergy issues.
great location, clean
Great shopping district
The stay at Hilton wwas great. Location was nice, we would stay here again. But most importantly, the staff! The front desk was great, people are firnedly, good valet, and the cleaning crew!!! Big props!! They clean all room so nicely and refill our room up everyday. It was a nice feeling coming back to a crisp room after long day of travels.
Fabulous hotel in a great location. Friendly staff clean and comfortable
Very comfortable hotel with lots of amenities and close to everything including the beach.
Loved everything about my stay here. The only thing I didn’t like was that this hotel required a $100 deposit per night you stayed. And at the end they added another charge for resort fees which I would’ve rather just paid at the time of booking. Other than that, very clean hotel and super nice.
Great place go stay
Was able to ck in early w friendly staff
The hotel is located where there is easy access to shopping, dining and public transportation.
Food was only discounted and not free, which was not noted when reserved.
Love it
Clean quiet
Very convenient location
Everyone was professional and accommodation was quiet, clean, comfortable and a short walk from the beach!
Yes
Enjoyed the stay. The room was clean and the ability to walk so many places was great. Staff was so helpful
Great location, friendly staff, valet service was excellent. Pool was good and they provide water, towels, and sunblock. The room was a bit small. The sink kept clogging, lamp kept shorting, shower pressure was to strong and you could not lower it.
This place not cleanses and noisy.
Parking fees were too high, valet staff took so long to bring my car to me, they didn’t provide hand soap, shower caps, and not even a bottle of water.
Not so Aloha
Description of the room was inaccurate. Was supposed to have ocean view and free breakfast but did not. Very high priced for basic room.
Property is well keep and service is good location is close to everything to enjoy the beach and good foods and tours
This property is close to all the amenities. While not beachfront it’s only a block away.
Great location just 5 mins walk to Waikiki beach..close to lots good restaurants..staffs were friendly and very helpful…
Highly recommended! Will definitely stay in this hotel the next time we’re in Waikiki.
Pool couches (fabric) was soiled and dirty. First 3 days staff forgot to add us to breakfast list - which i paid for to be included with stay.
Great hotel . 4 min walk to Waikiki beach
The room smells really bad. Like old mold or moist carpet. All my clothing smelled and it wasn’t pleasant
The lady that was doing the time share gave incorrect information to us. We did not receive out visa give card of $175. Because she gave incorrect information.
When it comes to Waikiki, this is just "fit the bill." I am a Hilton member, so I have plenty of experience with their hotel chains. I would say if you are looking for affordable with only a short walk to the beach, this is it. There are plenty of things for purchase nearby and the hotel staff are friendly. The pool is fine and all other amenities are fine. This isn't going ot be full service, but it will be safe and affordable.
Love it that it’s very close to the shore, stores and restaurants but didn’t like that after you payed for the room and put a deposit; at checking they still charged you “tax fees.”
Clean. Comfortable, safe
The property was amazing and I love the valet was great
we booked a room, we didn't think that this would happen to us, the room is terrible, very noisy, the staff is disgusting when checking into the hotel they didn't tell me anything about the hotel, they just gave me the keys and that's it, they took a deposit of 700 dollars, when I went to the reception to find out how the laundry works, they just ignored me, pretending that they are very busy, also in the room in the refrigerator there was a terrible smell, when checking out they gave us a check for 800 dollars that we had breakfast in the restaurant every day, but some of the guests just wrote down their breakfasts on our room, we had to stand and waste our time proving that we didn't eat it, but the hotel staff doesn't care about your time and your honesty, also be prepared to pay crazy money for the tourist tax at the Hilton Hotel, as it turned out they have the largest tourist tax I've ever seen, beware of the Hilton Garden Inn Waikiki Beach. They will ruin your vacation
This hotel is centrally located on Waikiki and within easy walking distance of all major attractions. However, the property is dated and in need of some renovations.
We stayed overnight prior to boarding a cruise ship. Unfortunately we had reserved an accessible room. We were given a non accessible room. The front desk corrected the problem
Best hotel shower
Holiday Robert and Kathy
Friendly and helpful staff. Room clean and tidy. Extra charges disappointing. Hotel needs a bit of a facelift. I’m general a very pleasant stay
Can’t believe this is a Hilton. We were very disappointed. Rooms were very dirty. Valet parking is a joke. Takes forever to park and get your car go anywhere. Overall property is in need to serious upgrades. Better options available close by.
Our overall experience was great, except one of the nights hotel fire alarms went off. Everything was cleared by fire department, someone was smoking in their room which is prohibited. Still giving a 5 star rating due to it not being hotels fault.we will stay here again.
Very clean & professional
The staff were kind and attentive when we had a concern or needed something. The first room we had there was a musty odor in the room and the sheets were stained. However, when we reported it the hotel staff quickly helped us move to a different room without the bad smell and the sheets were clean. The $40 resort fee for the gym and daily yoga was ok, but was not worth that daily amount. It would have been nice if there was nightly music and entertainment at the hotel to compliment the resort fee.
5 STARS
Staff was very frustrated when I came over and had to return
The check in process took a grueling 30 min. They never took my bags up, but instead left an in room message saying I needed to pick them up from valet. The bell and valet were nice and friendly. But with all the choices of hotels in this area, don’t bother
We checked in at 6pm after a long flight from NYC and our room was still not ready. The room ok The towels had an unpleasant smell. The furniture around the pool area is old and dirty looking, it needs an update to include some umbrellas for shade.
Very nice and clean property
It was a great location! We walked everywhere! The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean.
This hotel is really a all in one hotel. From the rooms to the places around the hotel, it is all excellent. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants, stores of all kind. Would stay there again.
I loved this hotel! It’s clean and the rooms were roomy. The only thing is the shower had low water pressure which I prefer a strong shower but that was ok. I highly recommend
Love the hotel and the area. I did enjoy the credits you get if you go to the beach, and was able to get beach chairs and umbrella free.
Very nice
They were able to provide me with late check-in for only $20.
I love that it’s safe so only people who had “keys” to hotel could have access keeps out a lot of outsiders … I love the View we enjoyed our stay very well .. The pool was so great & every staff member we bumped into had very great greeting services all around .. From the bell man , to the front desk to everyone in the restaurant .. our valet staffs & most of all the “House keeping” everyone always greeted us , asked if we were okay 5Star.. just the parking needs to be fixed we already pay so much for the room ? why not lower the parking valet pay knowing you guys don’t have parking for your guys customers ?
The staff were alright and the location was wonderful.
Loved the room! Clean, quiet and safe. Restaurant downstairs was good. The way they bill is a little sketch but over very good
AWFUL TUB/SHOWER. NO INSTRUCTIONS HOW TO USE SHOWER. COULDN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO TURN ON OVER-HEAD FAUCET. VERY ANGRY!!!!! CALLED FOR HELP. NO ONE CAME TO HELP. VERY UPSETTING!!!!!!!!
Great spot for beach, shopping and food
Bring about 1,000 more than you initially thought according to your agent or trip advisor. Know that “available parking only means valet at 55.00 a night and then they hassle you if you forget your ticket. It’s extremely noisy!! The hallways smell like gross food and the room was subpar at best. It’s like a motel 6 only gets very pricey after resort fees, valet parking etc. And it’s not a choice if you are driving a car. Very disappointed.. read the fine print everywhere. I frequent different hotels and I was extremely disappointed. The location was the only decent thing because we could walk to the beach and shopping conveniently.
The hotel & its workers were very accommodating & customer service in all areas from the bellhop, valet, front desk & housekeeping were so very friendly & welcoming !!! First time staying here but it definitely won’t be the last !!! Awesome experience !!!
It locates at a very convenient area. Walking distance to Waikīkī beach, restaurants and shopping facilities
Very friendly staff It close to everything
This is a perfect spot to vacation without a car! Right across the street from an amazing shopping/eating area! Buses and trollies are readily accessible! Very professional and pleasant desk attendants! We stayed 2 days pre-cruise! Highly recommend!
Very friendly staff
The reception help us immediatly with our request She is extremely kind!
Near beach and walking distance
was very clean and very friendly
Only downfall… is parking. Yes you can park via the hotel but it’s not cheap. Off street parking you can find, if you work at it. If that is the route you go… download the parking app.
Great location
Would stay again
Amazing hotel. A lot of foods and shopping right outside of hotel. Perfect location. Clean and customer service was excellent
I was put in a Handicapped accessible room which neither i or my companion looked Handicapped
Good location
Location!
Great location. Walking distance to restaurants, shops and beach.
The hotel it’s really nice
Great location, friendly staff, and sooo clean!! I'll definitely be going back.
The property was okay parking was insane at $55 a night but vallet was really nice there’s no smoking on the property or on your balcony which was nice as I don’t like cigarette smoke but overall for the price we paid I was expecting something a little nicer but it wasn’t a bad stay as we weren’t really in our room that much anyways
It was a great place to stay, close to so many things to do.
Really convenient location 10 minutes to the beach and shopping centre for all food drinks and other shopping bits right across the road
