Good hotel but quite far from attractions unless you like working

Beautiful stay for the final leg of our trip!

Great hotel

The staff on reception are welcoming, lovely and so helpful. The hotel is clean and the rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast buffet that is included with the rate had a huge assortment and was delicious. Staff even assisted with our tour bookings and helped us with ordering tickets to see a Porto soccer game which is a must-see. The fans are incredibly supportive and there is positive energy in the stadium with vibrant music being played and sung throughout the game. Loved the opportunity and experience. Many thanks for a wonderful stay. Porto was a terrific city to explore.

We had a room on the 13th floor with lovely views which was very clean. The beds were a little hard but the toiletries, robes and complimentary water was a bonus. Breakfast was great, plenty of options for all. We enjoyed the bar and sitting outside during the evening.

I booked this for a special birthday celebration. All the rooms book for guests were amazing,staff very friendly and welcoming especially Camille.They did a special tray with a bottle and dessert as a birthday gift which was truly appreciated.

Great location, the room was perfect

I cannot say enough about this property was lovely, clean, clean towels every day and bedding. Fridge in room plus kettle, bottle opener and hair dryer. Next door to bus station and near metro. Can get travel card from bus station. Easy acsess to centre and cheap eateries very close. Breakfast euro 12 if you book before hand or 17 on the day

Very functional convenient comfortable hotel, super clean and helpful staff. No restaurant except for breakfast, no swimming pool. Good underground car park

The hotel was very nice, we just didn’t realize how far away it was from the historic district. Not much public transportation around so we relied on taxis and Ubers. There was a food hall down the street that was convenient.

Nice and quiet but bit out of the centre, okay if you don’t mind walking. Great food hall just around the corner.

We had a WONDERFUL stay. From the welcoming people in the front desk to the comfortable bed & spacious restroom and room to the peaceful yet bustling surrounding areas, this hotel is to be saved in your favorite places to stay when in Porto. We loved it and would come back a thousand times.

This was our first stay at HF Fenix Porto and the experience was exceptional. At arrival we were treated like valued guests. The check in process was quick and simple, and the reception staff were amazing. We were assigned a corner room on the 10th floor and the room was very modern and spacious - even including a small table and chairs for dining. The bathroom was extremely modern, spacious and well equipped. The buffet breakfast was wonderful and offered a full range of hot and cold foods - and the service is exceptional. During our stay there was no evening restaurant but we did enjoy a dinner in their sister hotel that is next door (HF Tuela) The hotel is located in the business district of Porto which we found ideal - there is a shopping mall next door, offering all sorts of stores plus a supermarket. And there is a wonderful food hall spanning the next block where many vendors offer all different types of cooked foods - from snacks and ice cream to full meals, plus of course the Portuguese wine. This is incredibly convenient and even better because it is used by many of the locals Taxis are readily available at the taxi rank outside, and we found it very convenient to take a taxi each morning to our place of choice for the day - depending on the destination, we paid between 4 and 10 Euros for a taxi. And many locations are very walkable. This is a hotel we would choose again for a visit to Porto. We had a great five day stay. Thank you

Rooms are very nice and clean. Nice area around hotel. Is about 25-30 minute walk to major attractions but I was ok with it.

Gorgeous hotel. I loved the overall vibe and the blue theme. The elevator was my favourite part because it was so cool. The rooms were nice and spatious, with a big TV. Complaints: we had a view of a cemetery which was pretty strange, the beds were hard as a rock, the shower did not have a door, so you would end up flooding the bathroom. The breakfast was average. Overall, very pretty hotel with a decent location.

Great hotel for a week in Porto!

Stayed for a week. Nice hotel for this length duration. We had interleading rooms. Well Located for a small mall with super market and launderette. Awesome gourmet food court right nearby. Good access to the motorways to move around.

Visiting Portugal 🇵🇹

Well appointed modern hotel. Clean and elegant. We enjoyed the the overall service and the team members. Mr. Fonseca, who gave us direction as a concierge at the desk was also helpful and accommodating during breakfast. He was a great communicator.

Really excellent place , only issue at the. Breakfast, I feel unconfirtable when the two young person for custoner rralation asked for room number to see if we stayed at the hotel.

Everything was amazing! Staff was very helpful and kind. Very clean hotel. Attention to lobby bar carpet is a must and shower drains could probably use a bit of work for better flow.

Not sure I experienced anything unique. The room could have been cleaner, there was some dust. Our stay was good but nothing above and beyond other than the staff during breakfast. The hostess was very friendly and kind to our 3 kids

Pleasant stay and quiet area in this hotel located, just 50 meter away a huge and grand food hall with so many options! It’s excellent for morning breakfast and lunches !

Good hotel to stay! Worth the money

The room was big and had lots of sunlight. It looked modern and it was very clean, however, there were not enough power outlets in the room especially by the bed! The mattress was not good and felt so hard. Pillows were like a kid's pillows and weren't comfy. The staff was polite and helpful. The hotel is 30 minutes walk from the historical part of the city but there were a shopping mall and a good food court within walking distance.

Excellent property with spacious rooms and professional management. Not the friendliest welcome compared to other hotels we stayed at in towns and cities across the country but we loved the room and it had an excellent breakfast and service in the breakfast room was super by the hard working team.

Service at the end of our stay was absolutely terrible. It is erased all positive that this hotel provides.

The hotel is excellent and comfortable in all areas. However, it is not well suited for tourist activities. Too far to walk to any points of interest.

Enjoyable stay in Porto

Our stay was very enjoyable. Great breakfast to start each day. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Great hotel. Some of the floors have a weird design aesthetic, but nothing too crazy (just an aggressive amount of houndstooth). Centrally located. Area is a little weird, because it’s clearly going through a change, but you’re walking distance to a lot of things. About 30 min walk to old town and the river.

Like the fact that the property was brand new and clean everywhere. Property was right next to a shopping mall and next to public transportation

Room was very nice, spacious, modern and updated. My only negative comment is that the shower was very finicky. It would take about 5 minutes to get any hot water and only if the dial was at just the right spot and it would often, without warning, switch from the overhead shower to the handheld shower. It was mildly annoying, but still, this was a very nice hotel.

Lovely Hotel

This is a great hotel with full services. We loved staying there. One issue, the maid walked into our room at 830 in the morning for no known reason.

The location was good. It was close to shopping malls,stores and restaurants. Had vending machines ,that came in handy. My room was clean and the bed was big.

This was a large modern hotel centrally located in Porto and short walking distance to the historic centre of Porto. My room was clean and spacious with a small fridge, ample closet space, comfortable bed and modern bathroom. The hotel had underground parking for my rent a car for an additional fee. Hotel staff was courteous and professional. I would highly recommend this hotel when staying in Porto,

Bathroom was straight out of 1935, needed a desperate upgrade to bring it into the 21st century. Hotel good , bathroom aside . Rooms huge , beds comfortable , breakfast choice plentiful . Location good, only 10-15 min to main areas

The entire experience was wonderful! We landed for just the day and we were hoping to just drop bags off to go and explore... but we received so much more! An early check in, a delicious breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Thank you specifically to Raul for making our stay perfect!

Knowing that we were a couple they gave us a bed with twin beds. When asked about it they blamed hotels.com

Beautiful modern hotel. Close to shopping and short ride to major attractions. Shower glass barrier needs to be extended though to avoid Water on floor. Coffee tray needs an outlet closer to it so as not to move it. Breakfast, ambiance perfect. Cordial staff.

From the moment I walked into this hotel, the service from the staff at the reception desk, the bar and house keeping were very friendly, and happy to help. I left the hotel and left my work phone behind and I’m from the UK! The staff at the hotel retrieved the phone and are arranging it to come back to me. I’m definitely going to arrange another stay here. They went the extra mile, and the city is friendly just like the hotel. Thank you!

Good breakfast Include, we arrived in the morning at 10, they immediately gave us a room and upgrade us, bus stop to town is near 2 Euro each taxi is 5/ car , M and shopping mall is just behind the house, Walk and Wok in the food court is very good

We were charged and additional 29 euros because my husband made the reservation and his name was on the reservation and not mine. I was then informed that my name had to be on the reservation and there would be a 29 EURO charge for it. What a SCAM
