Be patient with property manager she is short staffed and is doing everything on her own. Communicate with her before making reservations with Expedia she doesn't live in property and they close at 8 pm so out of respect for her be there no later than 730 pm so she can get home to get her family. She works 7 days a week from 8 am -8pm. Communication is key prior to your arrival.

Check in was easy and the wonderful lady at the front desk did her best to meet all my requests from when I booked which was very appreciated.

The rooms are clean and nicely furnished. Great location near downtown, plus easy access to Hwy 69 shopping / retail. Great value compared to other Prescott lodging options.

Ya know, it's okay. Centrally located. The bathroom could've been cleaner. Outdated, but not bad overall. I was specifically told to be out before 11. Kind of weird but yeah.

It was great location to Whiskey Row, just a short drive. Easy & fast check in and everything neat & clean.

The cleanliness of this room was OK. A little dusty in some parts. The rooms are of 1970’s decor. One of the towels I was going to use had a pube on it. This motel is located on a very busy street so it was noisy. If you don’t mind being stalked by the blonde woman at the front desk then this is the place for you. She sits in the dark watching who comes and goes from the property. Every guest is an adult and shouldn’t be treated like a child. I will never return here again.

The owners of this motel are in the hospitality business. They were rude, unfriendly, confrontative, and pounded on my door an hour before checkout asking if I was ready to leave. One of the worst lodging experiences in recent memory. Owners are old and disgruntled. They should sell the place to someone who likes hospitality - and then retire.

Surprising gem for the price!

I was very pleasantly surprised by this property! At half the price of other hotels in the area, I anticipated this may have been a horrible stay. The property is older—there are physical keys and we checked in with a handwritten card, but the room was clean and well kept. The shower was clean and had hot water. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. It was cold weather, the heater worked well. No weird smells or disrepair. Would definitely stay again! The only thing I did not anticipate was that I booked the room for 3 people and had a king bed—there is no couch or pullout like many hotels have, so we had to grab a cot for my son at Walmart.

Stay was decent for the price. Beds are firm, so if you are looking for a cushy bed book elsewhere. Quiet. Short drive into town.

A 'classic' motel property with real keys for the doors. Easy check-in, clean and well maintained, a few blocks from downtown. Will stay here again.

Quiet and beautiful surroundings. Fast check in.

This place is kind of a gem! Very low price for the quality. Across the street is a great Indigenous Native Indian Museum that is very well done. It is also very close to Old Down Town.

Owners/managers very friendly and helpful. Rooms very large and clean. Property in a good area (can walk to the historic downtown) and is quiet. Only small complaint is that pillows were kind of hard. Great place!

Old motel but safe

Great older property. Owners are wonderful people. Very friendly and helpful. Nice clean rooms with comfortable beds. Not overly fancy. It is a small old school hotel that is charming and fairly quiet. Definitely on our list to book again in the future when we visit again for an overnight stay!

It was clean and within walking distance (albeit a longer distance uphill) from Whiskey Row. I was not aware that they only allow one vehicle per room. My husband and I drove separately so we had to leave one cat elsewhere. I wish I would have known that prior to booking.

Pleasantly Surprised

Much better than we expected for the most affordable hotel in Prescott. I've known this hotel since I was a kid 50 years ago and expected it to be very weathered. It was pleasantly updated and very nice. Owners were very polite and helpful, despite clearly being tired.

We had a great stay. The owners were amazing. We will definitely be staying here again.

We enjoyed the fact that this is a simple, older, family owned and well maintained property. The hosts were courteous and friendly. The only potential problem was because Expedia hadn't sent our reservation through to the motel. Our host handled it easily. The room had all the amenities. The bed was comfortable.

Easy to get to

Easy checkin, allowed us to park our car before checkin so we could walk downtown. King bed room, clean, ac unit worked well on a very hot 90+ day. We did not spend much time in room. Walking distance to bars and restaurants around 15 minutes. Dive bar next door was friendly and cheap!

Check-in was very easy, quick and pleasant. The room was very clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, once it came time to sleep (between 11:30 and midnight), we realized there is a bar next door with a live band that played until 2 a.m. We also had residents below us who stayed up partying and playing loud music until 5:30 a.m.

Excellent value for your money. The main driveway is under construction but my Kia Optima made it in. Room is clean with ample furniture and a microwave and fridge. Very nice place. We will be back

Towels were nice and fluffym bathroom floor very clean. I just felt it loomed cheap for $170.00 a night. Not enough parking in front.

The area around the property is under construction and hard to get too. Office was not what one would expect, it was trashy. We did not stay.

Room was adequate and had all the basic comforts...good value for the price. Considering everything was sold out for the weekend or requiring 2 night minimum we felt happy to find them!

Not a fancy place. Very basic. But perfect for just needing a place to sleep. Downtown was only a mile walk. The bathroom was huge. Quiet. Clean. There’s also a sports bar right next to it if you wanted to get out for a drink or some darts.

I really liked the motel. It was easy to find, and parking was ample. The room was clean. I really appreciated the king size bed. I was able to use the wireless connection for conference calls for work in the morning before I checked out. I would definitely stay here again. It was a nice place at a very reasonable price!

Perfect if you just need a place to sleep

It was a busy weekend in Prescott when we were staying so the higher rated motels were sold out. We took a chance with this one and it was perfect. Despite it being an old place, it was clean and the bed was super comfy! better than my bed at home haha. This is definitely a mom and pop shop and possibly the best bang for your buck when just needing a place to sleep

DO NOT BOOK HERE! The owner canceled on us once we checked in on a Saturday. We did not exceed the occupancy limit of 4 for the room. I thought I had the correct number of people through expedia of 2 adults and 2 kids. I had not problem paying the extra $10 since she even had my card to pay in her hands. She started asking extremely rudely personal questions about my kids and how our address is only an hour away but we drove in from out of town 4 hours away. We had and event early the next morning so that's why we booked a place. Although my personal life and personal information about my kids is none of her business. Apparently answering her rude and inappropriate questions is arguing with her and telling her apon check-in that 4 people are staying is lying to her. If I wanted to lie why would I tell her how many people are staying or even hand her the card to pay? She clearly should not be in this business. After reading serval reviews looks like this is her KNOWN problem.

The older lady at the desk was very helpful and informative about the Prescott area.The room was very comfortable and quite. The shower was hot and relaxing after our long drive. The room was dark,quite and the beds very comfortable.The only downside is the place fills up quick and you need to make reservation in advance to get a room.

Nice Motel to stay

This was a wonderful place to stay. The owner was so friendly and welcoming.

It serviced my needs at the time, but would not stay there again. Management could have been more friendly and the drive into property needed repaired-was washed out in a large area. They should have better bathroom safety for older or handicapped people.

Clean is good!!

Outside looks run down. However it was very very clean. It even smelled clean. No problems sleeping, not easy for me normally. A bit pricy but it was close to the places on our agenda, so it was worth it. They had an ice machine but no vending machines with drinks or snacks. We know now, so if we stay again we know to bring our own. If we have plans again close to them we will more than likely stay again.
