Check in did not have a room when got there
I liked the location of the property. What I did not like was the Steak n Shake restaurant that is the casino. My wife and I ate there and they charged my credit card twice. Of course I did not know this until I returned home and I have not yet been able to resolve the situation. It is a big negative for Harrah's.
Short staffed, hallways were dirty, front desk personnel were not friendly. Had to ask for soap and towels every day. Won't be staying here again!
Fun times at Cruisin the Coast
Not transportation from the hotel. The bridge that cross to the beach dirty trash everywhere
In need of major upgrade.
My husband and son arrived before me and checked in and then left to go explore. We were supposed to be in a non smoking room. The room smelled like stale smoke. There was very little water pressure in the sink and the a/c would not keep cool. It went hot then cold and back and forth. They offered to put us in a different room and the smell was even worse in there. So we decided to check out and move to a different hotel all together. So in total we were in the hotel less than 6 hours and they wouldn't/haven't refunded us our money. The staff was nice but will not be returning. This hotel is in need of a major, major cleaning/upgrade. They charged us a resort fee for both nights, I had to call to get that refunded.
Nasty
They had bed bugs
Spacious room, nice pool, but the property needs some serious upgrades. The Starbucks in the lobby gives the property a lot of leeway. The TBT place is pretty good too. Wish the restaurants in the hotel stayed open later than 10.
The property was nice, the room was decent but did appear to be aging a bit. The doors to most rooms had visible scarring, our room had stains on one of the walls. The best thing was the water pressure in the shower!! The casino was definitely smaller than the other properties in the area, but overall a good choice!
Check in attendant was not friendly, wore a mask incorrectly, avoided eye contact and spoke minimal words.
Decent hotel but front desk customer service leaves much to be desired. Harrahs should have more than one clerk available on any morning during peak check out time. Why does room service stop at 9pm? Overall, a good hotel but it needs a few updates. I would stay again
The property was absolutely amazing! The only problem we had was the customer service at the bars and casino waitresses.
Rather rude folks on arriving. The room had brown stains that had dripped down form the crown moulding. The room was moldy smelling. People were allowed to bring their dam dogs so they barked a lot a couple doors down. You are not allowed to use a cart only the bellboys can use a cart. On check out not one word of how was your stay or thanks for staying with us. Not much pep in the staff there or they just don't give 2 sh*ts
Disappointed...Old and outdated
Very Disappointed with this place. Dirty and smells bad. Price for what you get is not worth it. A few of the front desk ladies were very nice and helpful but one had a bad attitude.Service in the cafe was very slow; several people that were seated after me received their food before me and all I ordered was a wrap. The cleaning people were told not to use straight bleach but obviously don't listen because my first room smelled so bad I had to be moved. It was overall a disappointment and I'm sorry I spent my money to go there.
Highly recommend!
Everything was great. The AC doesn’t get that cold but other than that room was amazing. And it has many places to get food at right in the hotel.
Most everything was great. The only things I'd complain about are 1. the casino was the coldest I have ever been in. 2. The toilet in the room(735) was extremely low for an older person. It seemed to be designed for a child.
Carpets were filthy and the rooms need updating. For $300 per night, I would expect a clean room. I stayed for three nights and had to change rooms because the first one was just disgusting and when I got up to go to the bathroom, the floor was covered in water because the toilet was leaking. Really disappointing experience.
Smell bad
We enjoyed our time. Friendly staff.
The rooms are not soundproof. You can hear everything going on in the rooms next door.
Great waitress/waiter Team! Yell out to the very kind young lady that worked the gift shop on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning! I desperately needed an envelope and a stamp and to get something mailed out on Friday, 9/6. She was so helpful and told me where the closest post office was located!
It was an overnight stay, but the atmosphere was very nice. Our first time at this property.
Everything was very nice
I will not stay there again
The hotel is a little older and dated, but was really clean. Very quiet at night, we didn’t hear any of our neighbors. Staff was friendly and helpful. The casino was very clean.
Good place
The casino area was nice and not as smokey as other casinos. The hotel lobby, bar, and restaurant were nice because it was not smokey. The rooms were not well kept and could be if the staff was committed to cleaning. For instance the hall floors were dirty and the elevator area’s trash cans were full the entire time. The walls in the hallway could have been painted and kept up. The windows in the hotel and restaurant area were dirty. The pool area was dated. For instance, the beach lounge chairs were broken. Another example was the pool area ground was coming up. The pool bar attendants were attending to guest though and that was nice. The pool bar was dirty and dated. It would have been nice to have a tv outside to watch the game at the outdoor bar. The gym was extremely dingy. We did not use it and instead paid to go to the IP gym for the day. The reason was because it was so dated and water coming through the ceiling onto electrical outlets. However, we did like the Starbucks workers who were very attentive and the Purple Zebra worker who was pleasant and attentive. Overall, if the property were to maintain the small details they would do better.
The property was very clean. Staff was very nice
Hour and a half wait for my room to be readybafter I arived at 5PM. Not a good start to my stay here.
My room wasn’t very clean, barely had any towels, pillows were uncomfortable and misshshapened
The people are not as friendly as expected.
It’s was okay
The toilet kept going all night long. And plus bed is hard. When I check in the staff was so friendly and kind
Great
Great stay for price!
It was amazing only thing is no buffet style eating.
Showing it’s age. Little access to other properties, only Harrah’s food, sunrises and casino. Not walking distance regardless of ads claiming tenths of miles. Given the location they should spend money and update the whole thing.
Everything
Pool and staff great
Nice hotel
Nice spot to relax
The is by far the best hotel/ casino in Biloxi. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are very clean,
Our stay was ok. The room was nice but the hallway and elevator and property needs a good cleaning. Our room was too far from the elevator and ice machine. Experience was good but would not stay again.
The room was dirty, the water faucet for the shower was falling off the wall. You could not turn the tub water off due to the faulty faucet. Towels stained. Sheets stained.
Staff was great, the place needs a good bath and new carpet.
Nice stagf
Late check in
The check in was not until 4 pm. They charged for every minute to check in early. They were not by any means busy at 2pm and we were not picky about the room. The room was very nice. The pool was good. Probably wouldn’t stay there again.
Hallways and other public areas very dirty. Poor signage from garage to hotel/casino. Elevator from garage to hotel needs updated. Service once there was good as was the room.
Came from out of town to check in , check in was for 4pm I came @8pm & had to wait 2 hours for an available room .
Atmosphere was great, food was excellent
I was given a key to a room already occupied. The hotel got my name mixed up with another guest. My wife and I could have been injured if that guest was in the room when we entered. Staff were perplexed at what had happened. They said at the time that the other guest in the room was named Ralph Jones also. The gave me another room that was unkept. I later found out the other guest was named Mark Jones. I hope my identity has not been compromised by this incident.
Room was dirty amd had a bad stench!!!! Staff said they didn’t have another room available. I booked online with Travelocity the day of the stay. Paid for an ocean view and didn’t get that. Room was on the 2nd floor and view was a wall and corner room view. No view of anything but the roof below. I will never stay here again.
Disappointed
Booked the room for 3 people. When we got to the room it smelled so musty. It only had towels for 2 people. It had containers on wall for body wash, shampoo and conditioner but they were all empty.Hardly any tv channels to watch. Overall the room was average but when you have to pay extra for a 3rd person the room should have towels for a third person. I would not stay there again.
My stay was great the staff was awesome
The room we had was good, carpets in and out of room were stained. Water pressure in shower could use aome improvement. The pool was wonderful. We did pretty good on the slots, but lost it on the tables. Came out even. Great seafood restaurant accross the bridge and a 24hr Steak & Shake in the casino. We would stay there again.
A
Great place to stay
Harrahs was wonderful very clean and comfy
Fast check in process.
Birthday trip
It was a short birthday trip
Needs an immediate update
Na
I really like Hara 's casino. It's bright Aunt well lit. Other than that, not impressed. We booked a non-smoking room but they ran out of those so I had to stay in a stinky, smelly smoking room. The whole hallway reeked of cigarettes. Not pleasant. And really in this day and age. Why are we having smoking rooms at all. Gross
Everything was great except that it needs a remodel. Cleaning staff has to be overwhelmed. Room gave vibes of seedy motel. Online pictures are not accurate. Disappointed!!!!
All was great except we couldn’t check in for over two hours past check in time due to room not being ready
Our room had a stale like smell to it....
Pool staff was the best. Didnt like not receiving towels daily and not the number requested. Need more options for children besides pool. Miss not having microwave in room
Mississippi Trip
Room service was not up to par, The bell hop service was nice, The scenery was good as well.
Staff Needs Training
Overall condition of Hotel & Ammenities is dated which I cal live with. The cleanliness of the hallways to rooms need serious attention. Stains in carpet, trash on floors ( needed to be vacuumed) Room carpet is frayed, toilet had ring from not being cleaned. Kimberly (server) in Magnolia House Restuarant was Great! Food was excellent! Server for Breakfast was serious issue(Teanna) took us 15 minutes to place breakfast order. Took her another 10 minutes to get us our drinks. She didn’t have a clue about menu. Then she had any attitude when we shared our negative experience. Brie(Mgr) responded with genuine apologies and concern which was appreciated! Want to pool and was told we had to pay $30 each for lounger because the “free” ones were taken. We glanced and saw over eight empty loungers…?? I have over 40 years in Hospitality industry. Service staff could benefit from training. We are well travelled. We aren’t being harsh, just expect better from a Harrahs Property!!
Nothing really close to Hotel.
I was worried about the cleanliness of the rooms based on reviews, but ours was pretty clean. Staff was very nice. Casino was very small in my opinion, limited food options, but it was a short walk to the margaritaville play area for my kids. We only stayed a night to rest before continuing on our trip. Not a bad hotel, but we wont stay there again, we'll try another place next time.
My stay was really good didn’t have any issues
Location was good.. only downfall we did not get the extra towels we asked for when called housekeeping
This place is horrible from check in to the room to the casino to the staff and no servers on casino floor did not get into my room until after 6 and only cause they moved me 2 different times didn’t get the room I reserved and staff did nothing to help my mom is 80 years old can hardly walk and they did not care we had to wait hours past check in time to finally get in our room and staff was so rude I travel a lot but will never I repeat never stay here again
Hotel is very nice, well kept, had a great pool and great customer service.
Enjoyed our night
This was the worst experience of my trip. The room we were put in was so nasty. It was disgusting to the 10th degree. They advertise as a 4 start hotel, and it definitely is not. The property is old and outdated, chipped paint all over. The pictures are definitely false advertisement. Do not expect to get the room in the photos. Do not stay here, there are plenty of updated places to stay.
Cleanliness could have been better. Staff was very nice. Also didn’t care for staying in. Smoking room. It was horrible.
Perfectly
Harrah’s Gulf Coast is not a place to stay. The environment was not pleasant the prices were high in the store. I was requested for a $100 deposit and charge for a resort fee of $20.32. In which I was not told about until I received an email that night. I paid over $500 for just for one night.
Don’t stay here
Dirty, unsafe and over priced
Feel the property need be more maintained. Áreas feels are abandoned.
We loved the pool no towels were available at 8pm and pool closes at 10. Room was nice and clean. Outlets in the room were very lose and almost impossible to use. Soaps dispensers in our room were out of all soaps. Location was perfect.
Amenities need fixing, NOT WORTH $400+ a night
For the price I paid, these mediocre suites honestly could have been ALOT better. The one big thing I want to point out is the jacuzzi tubs that aren't even functioning, including the broken knobs and missing know covers, in both of the suites I purchased for my friend and I. You can't use one of the shower heads, because it sprays right through the cracks of the glass doors, and my electric window shade over the tub decided to stop working too, because the plug was hanging half way out the outlet. I did talk to front desk and they offered to send maintenance up. Honestly bad timing on my part, as my friend was waiting on me to go to lunch, but after 30 minutes of waiting for maintenance to show up, I just called front desk and told them not to send someone up. Something that disturbed me a little is that they said maintenance wouldn't need me to be their to check on the issue. I did inform the lady I didn't feel comfortable with that, to please cancel someone coming up, because I wouldn't be their. She did agree to cancel. The staff were very pleasant through the whole stay. No complaints their. With the suites being $400+ a piece, a night, I really feel that all the amenities should be properly functional. Feels like something you would have to deal with in a $100 dollar a night hotel. Beautiful view, but poor quality amenities.
The bed was not comfortable! Plugs in next to bed didn’t work.
View
Carpet was filthy and had an odor found out that this place of stay is ran by Wyndham and only casino ran by Harrah’s place is a dump
The rooms were nice and clean.
Easy experience and nice hotel. A bit confusing but lovely
Nice
Wating to long and they were trying to give us smoking room than I complained and changed non smoking room. Front desk employee not very well trained and only two workers including the manager.
Great time and food was delicious.
Found other people dirty properties in our rooms. There was no chairs in our room. Thre was no where to sit other than the bed.It was hard to get clean towels.
The property was very outdated. The pictures advertised were misleading. Casino was smokey. Spa completely dreary and depressing. Some of the staff nice and helpful, others grumpy. Room was clean and hotel good location
the floor carpets needs replacement. The smell when you walk into the hotel wast as pleasant.
Don’t if you want clean and service friendly
The hotel messed up our reservations and would only offer a smoking room that was so disgusting we immediately went back to the front desk and refused the room. Hence, we were left with finding alternative lodging on our own. This issue was brought to the Managers attention and they would not assist us in any way.
Check in process was terrible. Check in time was 4 pm but room was not available until 6:30 pm. Was told we would receive a call from housekeeping when ready but never received a call. Check in staff unapologetic and indifferent. I guess cleaning staff were in a hurry as they left the last guests snack crackers on the floor.
El hotel es muy bonito y agradable. Muy bien ubicado. Aunque por los fenómenos atmosféricos , quizás les afecte alguna vez. Nuestra estancia fue muy agradable .
My 1st stay at Harrah’s. I used to live in Biloxi & visit frequently as my best friend still lives near St. Martin. I wanted to try somewhere new this trip.Parking garage has plenty of parking. Hotel & Casino are on the 3rd floor . I arrived at 3, & was charged $15 to check in an hour early. Kinda dumb, but whatever. Room on the 5th floor, great view of the top of the parking garage. No problem. Room was VERY spacious. Bed was comfortable. However the lighting in the bathroom was dark & dismal. It was mediocre at best. For over $500 for 2 nights there are better places to stay. Wont be back.
Not a pleasant experience
I will stay elsewhere when we go back to Biloxi. Room was not clean, walls seemed to leak from the next room resulting in a brown puddle in our bath. Phone didn’t work to call the front desk. Had to stand in the check in line several times to get additional towels since they don’t service the rooms and didn’t bring towels the first to times we requested them.
It was clean and quiet.
Nice weekend getaway!
