It was perfect staff where very plesent
Lovely staff
Great stay. Staff where so lovely they had a card an chocolates for us for our anniversary
I asked for a birthday request which was met and confirmed by the hotel before the stay
Cold damp room
Had to change rooms as the room I was given was cold damp and non of the lighting worked correctly
Overall great hotel
Great location. Overall a pleasant stay . The room just wasn’t warm enough. Complained several times but the issue wasn’t resolved. They had given the last heater to an elderly gentleman . Perhaps buy a few more heaters to deal with the issue. Other than that was lovely and would definitely stay again when it’s warmer weather.
Excellent base for central Liverpool
Very helpful staff. Good service. Hotel was very clean.
Lovely stay in our home town
The hotel is absolutely lovely so was our room unfortunately the bed was so noisy every time me and my partner moved it made a lot of noise so with the noise out side till 3am and not being able to move it was not the best
Looking forward to going back. Wonderful place. A splendid time is guaranteed for all
Great experience. Facilities and staff were excellent. I’m looking forward to returning
Liked everything, location excellent, staff helpful and very friendly, would stay again. One very slight improvement, for kettle and hair dryer had to move a desk to get to electric sockets. They could be located higher between the mirror and desk.
Really nice place, friendly staff. Good selection of drinks and in a convenient part of Liverpool.
Very pleasant stay. The hotel is very nice, as are the staff.
Having visited over 130 countries and stayed in many many many hotels the staff make the difference and Eric at the hard days night he’s simply is the top 👌
Comfortable beds and very convenient for all attractions.
Pauline
Very nice stay got a nice big room on arrival only downside very noisy from outside early morning from bin wagons etc but the hotel is on a main road so is expected for this area
Comfortable friendly clean free sky sports nice break would go back thank you
Adverage
Nice room but very noisy as next to the strip of pubs so didn’t sleep the best
Staff were rude, avoided eye contact, never smiled or friendly. They seem to be really unhappy, male, glasses, in his 50s had stinking attitude to the point I asked him if he was ok. Hotel looking a bit tired in areas, carpet in main area torn and frayed. Was advised bar would be open at 3pm, 3:05 still waiting for staff who never apologised for being late. Decent hotel but lost its charm and sadly customer service.
Loved it
Fab hotel great location
Excellent
Perfect as always ☺️ good size room, spotless, great breakfast and perfect staff who are very approachable!
I mentioned to the hotel it was our anniversary, they gave us a room with a balcony, box of chocolates and a card. The bar staff were very good, a lady in particular was amazing, Grace, so friendly & chatty.
Amazing Beatles Hotel
Amazing Beatles inspired hotel steps away from the Cavern club! Service was superb, hotel was very clean and beds very comfortable! Enjoyed the music, and Beatles memorabilia
Simply the best
Love this hotel
Great location , great staff great service. Lovely big room
Yesterday’s travel
Fab location to the centre of Liverpool for either shopping or entertainment. Would stay again but breakfast average.
Amazing
Amazing hotel couldn't of asked for any better and staff were so polite and cheerful
Great hotel just in the correct place for our trip
Having an issue of the water randomly turning off for the hotel, and only finding out about it via a sign on arrival, is poor service, honesty and etiquette. Made worse by, of course, it happening while I’m in the middle of showering and rushing to get ready for an event..
Lovely time in a lovely Hotel
Excellent hotel and location
Hotel was excellent Bar was excellent just understaffed around happy hour when it was at its busiest Beautiful decor and rooms Some of the rooms we booked did not have windows but not a biggie Best location possible
Great stay in Cavern Quarter
Great hotel in the Cavern quarter. Very clean and nice bar and restaurant areas. Staff very friendly and efficient.
Must stay! Amazing hotel
The nicest staff at check in. Stylish decor and the best location
great location and service. HOWEVER if you are in a room that backs on to Matthew St you will be hearing the music of the pubs and Cavern Club (even if you have no windows) until just before midnight
Having spent 2 nights trying to sleep with their pillows I left with a strained neck and i don't know when it will recover. All down to small pillows.
Great Location, Excellent staff,
Poor Value For Money
Check in was fine, luggage stored. No information given about the hotel. Room very small but ample. Cleanliness of room was poor. Bedside lamps covered in visible dust, bathroom floor tiles cracked, grout missing, shower screen mouldy, We when returned around midnight, nice to see security on the door. When we got to our room we had no running water, phoned reception to be told they would reset the pump again. Then we noticed our sink didn’t drain either. Overall disappointed with our stay in reflection to the cost.
City stay
Fantastic hotel but would benefit from soundproof windows
The place to stay for Beatles fans. So glad I splurged on this. Friendliest staff I’ve ever encountered and I’ve stayed in lots of hotels! Walking distance for shopping, Mersey cruise, museums and other sites including the Cavern Club.
First class stay
Excellent. Great location, great room with plenty of space, tea and coffee etc and soaps and towels in a good size bathroom. Bar was good and reasonably priced. Breakfast was excellent.
Pretty much a perfect stay.
Two-night stay, beautiful room, my only criticism would be it was a bit dimly lit, no bright mirror for applying makeup! Bed large and extremely comfortable. Bar areas very nice, lots of Beatles-related photographs. Would recommend to any Beatles fans - very close to The Cavern etc, literally next door!
Overnight stay for business / clean comfortable and convenient.
Great service
Great service, beautiful hotel, huge bed. Only faults were a dirty plug hole, and the lights control panels are very finicky.
Disappointing
We usually use travelodge but thought we would treat ourselves we should of stayed with travelodge and saved the extra £130 it cost to stay here it started well we left our luggage in the morning and we returned to check-in the bags had been taken to our room by a fantastic guy who was helpful funny and chatty i didn't catch his name but I would describe him as what you would expect Ricky Tomlinsons brother to look like. The lobby, bar and stairwells are awesome, but when we got to our room, what a disappointment. The room 121 was small and once we opened the curtains found frosted out windows which you could not open. The curtains stayed closed leaving you with no natural light, never mind a view. The tv was on an extending bracket which meant you banged into it when you got up from the bed. Overall the room looked tired. The biggest disappointment was the services. The bar which was a beautiful place to sit called last orders at 10.15, and then closed at 10.30, moving people to finish their drinks in the lobby. We found this poor, you get better than that at Travel Lodge who stay open till you've finished drinking. We didn't want all night drinking but 11.30 would have been more reasonable. The next morning we tried to get a coffee from the coffee shop in the lobby but were told it didn't open until 12 midday. We looked for a bin to get rid of a takeaway bag (all sealed and clean) the man off reception took it off us as if it was a dirty nappy. Which we found rude.
Look no further only place to stay
Stopped one night room 508 excellent room Hotel is next to Mathew street (Beatles street) all bars live entertainment shopping center is other side of hotel can’t get better location
Best in the City
3rd time I’ve stayed , I’m a huge Beatles fan so this place is heaven
If you are or are not a Beatles fan, this properity gives you all the history and experience one would want. THE BEST
Again I was double booked at this property. I only used one room
Hard Days - Easy Nights..!
Great base for a Beatles-focused family trip to Liverpool. Just round the corner from the Cavern and easy access to other landmarks and the waterfront.
BEATLES HEAVEN
The hotel is perfectly placed for Beatles fans to visit Liverpool’s iconic locations. It is well appointed, and the staff are a pleasure to deal with. The bar has real atmosphere, particularly during happy hour. Highly recommended.
Fabulous Hotel
Our stay was great from checking in to checking out(which was done online) therefore avoiding queues. The staff were very professional, polite and very informative. The room was great too, it was very clean and well equipped. The bed was really comfortable but unfortunately it creaked, and the creaking of the bed is the only thing I can fault it on. We have stayed at Hard Days Night before and will definitely be going back. I highly recommend this hotel as it is in a prime location. Ideal for shopping, theatre, museum's, restaurants, bars ( the world famous Cavern Club is literally just around the corner ) a great choice of tours for Beatle fans and of course a ferry cruise on the Mersey is a must.
All good
Wonderful hotel in the ideal area to immerse yourself in The Beatles …
Noisy!
Really noisy with bin lorries and glass collection for what felt like the whole night.
No running water in the sink. No apology from the staff when i complained
A great place & staff but...
The staff were really great and their service outweighed the noise from nearby bars/music venues/etc that affected my sleep. Maybe get triple glazing installed or some other remedy to help with noise reduction?
fab hotel
fantastic location.
Disappointing
No water Sunday and Monday evening and Tuesday morning in bathroom . Reluctance to apply Hotels.com 20%Discount to food and beverage. Poor service in restaurant and mixed messages at reception . Great location for Matthew Street and Cavern
A very nice hotel that is close to so much! Plus, the front desk personnel were wonderful!
The hotel gives us a free upgrade and discounted breakfast. The full breakfast is very good. It is a walking distance to Beatle's Cavern.
I don’t usually complained the reason why I just didn’t asked for alternative room, but can’t understand why we were given a wheelchair access room, it’s hurting our back to use the sink when brushing our teeth.
Very comfortable hotel and friendly staff!
Great hotel. Nice lighting in the room. Rooms on the Matthew Street side are very loud until at least 1am.
Comfortable delux room. But a few suggestions
It’s a modern hotel which is comfortable. Could be improved by the usb hubs by each bed side , shower caps provided and better design of the bathroom. (Toilet roll holder squeezed next to the toilet space
A Hard Days Night hotel is in a fantastic location. Here you will find pleasant, helpful staff. The room we stayed in was fantastic. We will definitely be staying here again.
.
Noise in room from street was bad
Very loud rooms with little insulation from the loud clubs. Ideal if you are out all night, but if you want to sleep, then even earplugs won't help. Booming bass and the metro underneath can be felt. Amenities and breakfast was mediocre and price very expensive for what we got. We expressed our concerns about noise at check-in and requested to move rooms but staff could not accommodate due to availability.
Wonderfull
Fantastic services room fantastic food first class the steak was wonderfull
💯
Rude noisy dirty bedding and not helpful
Has Chance of Being Excellent
Room was spacious slight use marks but good value. Front of reception manager outstanding. He makes the difference of staying again or not. The hotel and staff miss communicate at times. Bar opposite reception should be clearly marked as closed when close. Solo traveler at breakfast table gets cleared when you pop up to buffet and reset which is annoying. He
Liverpool trip
Great stay .. check in staff were superb - lovely room / suite !!
Staff was super nice and the room comfortable. It is loud at night from the clubs below but that is to be expected.
Fine
Fun place to stay. Very comfortable. Excellent location.
Awesome hotel. Great location
Great room!
Great room, but water pressure left a lot to be desired.
Exceeded Expectations
Great location - right next to Matthew Street. Enjoyed the Beatles theme throughout - was not done in a tacky way at all. Front desk staff were very helpful.
No parking
Bar staff in experienced no people skills what so ever waited ages to be served no atmosphere in bar singer though was great food was cold. Noise outside was terrible got no sleep at all
Loved the location. Right next to Mathews st. And close to lime st. Train station. Loved the Beatles theme
Mahmoud and Esme were excellent, very accommodating and knowledgeable of the hotel and activities nearby. Just the type of greeting and understanding a guest needs especially after a long journey.
Great Hotel nothing hard about it :)
Great staff very friendly which is what you expect form Scousers. Great breakfast, a little noise form Mathew street but then again its Mathew Street. If you expect peace an harmony don't stay within 1 mile of Mathew street. Slept like a baby and the location is fantastic. Will stay there as often as i can very happy with all things about the Hotel.
Great quirky Hotel
Great quirky hotel right in the centre 1 minute from The Cavern , amazing location
We really enjoyed our four nights at the hard days night hotel. Loved all the Beatle pictures all over the hotel. It was very convenient to Matthew Street where the cavern club is. I got to see the cavern club and also an awesome Beatles tribute band in the adjoining club to the cavern machado much larger stage and seating area. We pretty much were able to walk to everything that we needed to see in Liverpool from the waterfront to the Beatles Museum up to the Philharmonic dining hall, O2 Academy to see a Amy Winehouse tribute. We had a room on the fourth level facing the front of the hotel, so we didn’t notice any noise at all coming from Matthew Street which can get quite loud. Rooms over on that side of the hotel might have been able to hear it. I’m sure. It’s quite the lively place for the young crowd and all the tourists. All in all, it was a great hotel and very convenient to everything. We would definitely stay there again. It was fab!
Very clean and welcoming, conveniently located with interesting Beatles paraphernalia, excellent breakfast
Liverpool as a whole was so much fun & the proximity of this hotel to bars & clubs was fantastic. It’s a very walkable city
Great location for shops, bars and restaurants. Hotel bar also good with happy hour (actaully 3 hours) on cocktails, a lager, and shots. Good atmosphere in bar. Comfy bed and pillows in room. Good size tv. Bathroom clean and all amenities.
Amazing! Location, things to do and the Beatles ! What a wonderful place and experience! Definitely would stay there again!
Like Disneyland for Beatles fans
If you are a Beatles fan then you need to see Liverpool and the Hard Days Night Hotel is in the perfect place to stay. Located right beside Matthew Street and the Cavern Club it's the best spot to stay. A great place to relax after a day exploring Liverpool.
Fantastic place to stay
Enjoyable stay -very comfortable and clean-great atmosphere surrounded by Beatles paraphernalia.
Great
We stayed in a classic double bedroom, it was very spacious and clean but there are no sockets by any of the mirrors so if you want to wash yr hair you cannot use a hairdryer or straighteners by a mirror. You also have problems putting make up on as the lighting in the rooms are rubbish.
Beautiful hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Loved all the Beatle memorabilia on the walls and throughout the hotel. Also security getting into hotel and rooms was a plus. Walkable to many main attractions. Next visit to Liverpool, it will definitely be A Hard Day's Night hotel.
Worst experience in a hotel ever. We went on monday for shopping trip but from the minute we got there it was awful. This hotel is used for coach trips from around the world so it's really busy. Hardly any staff. I felt sorry for the staff as they were overworked and lack of support. The breakfast was limited and overcooked. The room we stayed in was deluxe twin room on the 5th floor but you can hear the music till 2am in the morning. So if you hate noise then Don't stay here! We went for cocktails in the evening and most of them, we couldnt have as they ran out of stock. Only good thing was it's a less then a minute to the shops.
