Great location
Good location. Came to visit this area and was close to many amenities. Friendly staff and common area. Safe area, walkable to restaurants. But hotel rooms in big need of a remodel, outdated and run down.
The room wasn’t clean. There was toothpaste sour in the mirror and the faucet. Shower had hair in it. Nice area but wouldn’t recommend for the price.
Great stay always. Breakfast sucked!
Lobby heat issue, very cold. Work in progress.
Everything was real good besides the hard bed, sheet that didnt fit...and noisy air unit. Tiny pillows...other than that nice place ...really nice people
Booked room wasn't available
I booked a "double room king bed", and when I checked in, I got to the room and it was a single small room with a king bed. I went to the front desk and was informed that the hotel did not have any double rooms and they weren't sure why I was able to book that type of room. I was able to switch to a room with 2 queen beds, but it was still not what was expected when I booked. The hotel was also very loud, with not much noise isolation between rooms and the doors slam when closing. On top of that, the fire alarm went off at 2:00am one night. Not a great experience.
The heating system was extremely noisy. Also the amount charged for the room was higher by about $20than the full price on the Expedia check out process.
Not a clean place to take your family.
Our heater did not work. It was under 50f in our room and 8f outside. There was a disgusting residue on the remote I stuck my hand in.
Short weekend trip for my husband and myself.
i’ve stayed at Better Hampton ‘s
it was okay, i’ve stayed in better Hampton ‘s the comunication between front desk and house keeping not so well.
Our bathroom and beds weren’t completely clean. That was disappointing. But the staff was friendly and the room was nice and quiet.
Ok but toilet needed a seatbelt
Toilet was loose and wobbly it felt like it was gonna come off the floor. Other than that was a ok stay
TT
Overall comfortable room, clean and amenities. One concern is the heat and air system was a little loud in the room when it was running, but was still able to get some sleep.
Hair in the sink and shower. Mold present in the shower!!
Dirty. Shabby. Not up to Hampton standards
Because i was so tired i went straight to bed, but when we woke up the next day, i was able to assess the room. The lamp shade by the bed was broken and torn. The bathroom was pretty shabby and outdated, but the worst was there was a used bar of soap in the shower with hair all over it. So gross! All floors in hallways and elevator are very dirty. The overall cleanliness was not very good at all.
Home away from home
Always good. Great and friendly staff. Even got treats for our dog.
Half the room (carpet)was wet from water. Told girl at front desk. Said she would let housekeeping. Back door to come in to hotel was not working when using the room key. Told girl at front desk, she said would let maintenance know. When I checked out I told lady at front desk about water in carpet and back door. She said was aware about water in room and maintenance would be in at 8:30 this morning about the door. Did not offer to lower bill.
A great stay
The staff was amazing and all ways wanting to help you and friendly there breakfast was great to start your day the cleaning staff was also top notch and the maintenance is right on point to fix. Any problems that come up.
Great location. Very welcoming of our two pups. Lovely lobby with fireplace & coffee station. Great hot breakfast with many options. Fitness area & pool. King suite was spacious. Definitely would recommend!
Bathroom Door Debacle
For some facility construction problem, every Hampton we visit has an issue with the bathroom door. They all are uneven, and tend to close on there own. We're forced to construct a make-shift door stop........ Frustrating!!!!!!!
OK
The property is run down and needs refurbishing. For such a nice area of South Tulsa, we were very disappointed.
Nice hotel, not brand new but well maintained. Staff friendly. Perfect for our one night stay.
Quiet, homey feel. Staff was great!
The property was very convenient for where I needed to visit my family.
Good area felt vehicle was safe and secure
Great place to stay
Excellent
Staff was very helpful
Good stay overall. The hot water could have been hotter, but that's my only complaint. Service was great!
Great breakfast
Breakfast was great with lots of choices. My only negative was that staff was not very friendly.
Again, the room smelled of disinfectant. Please do not use so much. It is a wonderful hotel and convenient for my business, but I want to breathe without the toxins. If I had asthma I would not come back.
The only negative was the overuse of disinfectant that smelled toxic in the room. Please do not spray the room like that. It doesn't make it any safer and just adds breathable toxins--not good for asthmatics or---well--anybody. Lee MD
Convenient to get to elevators from back doors
Great breakfast selection! Awesome service
Enjoyed.
The King bed was a little to firm for my taste. Nothing else negative to say. Great room and clean. Very close to alot of restaurants, walkable. I would definitely go back.
The stay was good. The condition of the property not that good.
Very quiet, nice.
Bath towels were super small and very rough. Mattress pad was stained, TV too small. Not the end of the world but when you travel across half of the country to stay, the luxuries you get at a Hampton near home should be the same you expect at any Hampton.
We loved our stay! The room and staff were great.
It was a normal Hampton Inn.
Although the room was clean and sheets clean, the bathroom was not clean. There was a used contact lens case on the bathroom floor and hair in the shower and sink. There were other bits of trash in the bathroom as well.
Upon arriving at the hotel after a lengthy flight, I was informed that due to being late for check-in, my reservation had been canceled. The hotel staff mentioned that I would be charged the full price for my stay even though I had not yet checked in, and that I would need to make a completely new booking. This situation was unprecedented for me as a frequent traveler who has stayed at various accommodations. I believe that if I have paid for my stay and am only slightly late for check-in, my reservation should still be honored. Furthermore, after rebooking and paying again, I encountered issues with the room such as malfunctioning lights and a strong damp odor. Consequently, I decided to leave prematurely with a day still left on my reservation.
The room wasn’t in the best condition. Toilet seat was stained orange, the ceiling was bubbled from what looks like water damage. Carpet was torn in a few spots. Just looked well used.
Everything was great.
No room service unless specifically requested. The staff responded quickly to our requests for fresh towels, but we had to ask for everything. By the third day of our stay, our trash pail looked like a Jenga tower and whoever came in to replace our towels ignored the trash pail until we specifically asked for trash pail service.
I loved i cpuld walk to Transformation church!
Hampton Inn on Memorial
My family and I have stayed at the hotel before so we chose again for familiarity and proximity. The hotel was clean and looked taken care of. With that said I did notice our shower curtain was stained, we were missing the ice bucket from our room and there was a vacuum cleaner left at our door. Unsure about that. The staff was friendly. We didn’t bring this to their attention as it was a later night check in and early send off.
The beds were terrible. We both woke up with back pain. The breakfast was merely meh.
The rooms could use some updating and the carpets in the rooms, halls and elevators need to be shampooed. Overall the visit was pleasant, the breakfast was good and the staff was very pleasant and an extra shout out for Sharon who helped make our checkout easy.
I'd stay here again
My two sons and I stayed here. Hampton Inns are consistently clean and have good breakfasts. This one was no exception. The bathroom door did not close as it was rubbing against the tile. We told the front desk as we were checking out. She said she would have moved us to a different room had I told her earlier. The pool was clean and heated enough to be enjoyable on a hot weekend.
The bed was dirty. There was hair on the sheets from whoever was there before me.
When you walked out on the 4th floor it smelled badly of mildew. The bed in room 228 was not even fitted with proper fitted sheets, they came off the bed all night. The shower was not clean and had the previous persons hair in it.
Our shower door wouldn’t close it was stuck. Our toilet leaked when it was flushed. Shower tile was dirty/moldy.
The property and staff were great. I enjoyed my stay and would stay there again. Convenient location
Friendly Staff, good breakfast, clean facilities.
Everything was nice!
Good location. Friendly staff. Clean facilities
My parents rented a room for 4 days and they did not clean it any even after they requested them to clean. The grandkids were in the pool and need to have extra towels and cleaning with the kids and they never cleaned it once. We were on the list 2 days but never cleaned.
Staff was responsive, pleasant, and helpful. Pool was quite cold, but my kids enjoyed it. One of the beds had a stray hair in the sheets, prompting us to replace all the beddings with fresh ones, which the manager was happy to provide. Breakfast was delicious and had good variety. The room doors slam shut pretty loudly so we were disrupted from time to time by others on our floor who did not take care to close the doors gently. Overall it was a pleasant stay with no serious issues, and it was a good value for what we got.
The personnel on the property were all very helpful and accomodating. From the beginning, my flight came in around 11am, so you can imagine my surprise when an early check-in was available. However, the room was suitable for one.... had my husband traveled with me he would have demanded another rm. The bathroom door wouldn't shut. The shower head/and the shower itself needs updated. The foot of the bed closest the refrigerator, needs some repair. Everything else worked well.
Great!
Our was great! In walking distance to the church we attended, great breakfast and great front desk service!
I stayed here 2 nights the first day there I did not get room service done I needed towels and toilet paper good thing Iñwe had our own
Place felt pretty safe.
Bed and pillows was very uncomfortable. I’ve stayed in multiple Hamptons and never experienced uncomfortable beds and pillows
I stayed here for one night while I was in town for Christmas. I reserved a room well over two weeks in advance with a king bed and upon arrival I was told the hotel had overbooked and no longer could accommodate the bed I originally reserved. The rooms cleanliness was subpar at best. There were crumbs from some type of chips/crackers/cookies under the sheets on one of the beds. Long black hairs were plastered all over the tub and walls of the shower. The AC unit barely worked in the room, causing sleep issues due to how hot the room was. The front desk manager, Sharon was one of the rudest staff members I’ve ever dealt with. She seemed as if she was “tweaking” on some type of drug. We chose this hotel, as it was one of the “better” pet friendly hotels that I found in the area. At no point in my booking process was an overnight pet fee ever disclosed until I went to checkout. Sharon informed me it was $75 per dog every night. Her delivery of this hidden fee was infuriating. I paid it but would’ve liked to have known about it beforehand. Very unsettling experience.
Bad idea
The hotel room was dingy and musty. It was in such bad condition that we ended up checking out early, by two days, and moving to a different hotel.
Breakfast needs to be better
Hampton has always been great, but this time the comfort wasn’t there. The AC unit was so loud and noisy. But what was really surprising were the small pillows for kings size bed. Even putting two of the small pillows together didn’t make it any better. It was a little disappointing.
Great Stay
The front desk staff was very accommodating and friendly. Any request we had was met with professionalism. Really enjoyed our stay.
Nice location in area with lots of eating options and some you could walk to. It has a nice indoor pool. Very clean and a real nice breakfast each morning and lots of coffee options early.
The place was nice but there was only one coffee cup in are room there wasn’t anything to drink water out of there wasn’t an ice bucket to get ice with. There was signs in the building for a vending machine but when you got where they should be there wasn’t any kind of machine.
Good location. Outside clean. Room a little dated.
The facility was clean and staff was friendly. No complaints at all.
Not a fan.
We were a little disappointed in this Hampton. Seems it might be in need of some upgrades. It was super hot outside during our stay and yet the day we arrived, our room AC was set on fan so the room was warm and it took several hours to cool down our King Suite. There was not a bar of soap in the suite and the shampoo bottle was completely empty. The bottom sheets came off the bed every night because they did not fit and the sheets were dry and scratchy. We had to pay extra for our bottles of water since we are not members of some elite group yet our 2 night stay was approx $350. The breakfast was just okay, not a fan of powdered eggs so we didn't end up eating there the 2nd day. I guess we had been spoiled as earlier in the week we stayed at a Home2 Suites by Hilton for less money and everything was so nice, the bottled water was free for everyone and the cheese omelets were real. Sorry Hampton. Too many choices these days, we won't be back.
Sad. Several carpet tiles with big gaps. No ice bucket/sleeves. No bar soap at bathroom sink. Lotion at bathroom sink not primed unable to use…period. Complimentary breakfast could have been better.
Breakfast was good. Carpet in room was not very clean. We stayed 3 nights and asked for the sheets to be changed for the last night but it was not done
The staff was friendly, helpful and available. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet! Parking lot was well lit and I felt very safe. Great price as well! If I am ever in the Tulsa in the future, I will definitely consider staying here again.
Bathrooms are old doors On shower kept coming off and hard to slide closed. Breakfast was good! Very nice staff
Friendly staff
Great experience at check-in
staffs are great, restaurants in the area are excellent
I love staying here it was awesome! I like that pizza/bar across the street. It was a great stay and the breakfast was gooodddd.
Everything was great stay here every time we are in Tulsa
Great staff and accommodations.
Owner
When my employee tried to check in he was told that his name was not in the system. He tried to get a hold of me but it was too late at night and I was asleep. He had to pay for the room again and we were double charged.
The price we paid was high for the quality of the property. It was just a room not a suite. One chair and no love seat . Very basic room. Door to bathroom did close toilet seat loose. They did repair seat. Breakfast was good. Would not stay at Hampton Inn again.
The room was filthy. Old/chewed gun on the floor in the bathroom. Cockroaches noted throughout the room. The floor had not been vacuumed recently. Some sort of tomato sauce on floor and next to the tv. Bathroom door was filthy. Very disappointed for what we paid for the room. Won't be staying here again.
It was ok
The couch fold out had dirty sheets and and old dirty sock inside, so my son couldn't sleep on it.
The staff was super friendly and had a scavenger hunt that my grandchildren really enjoyed.
Nice place
Our room was roomy and comfortable. Check-in was quick and easy. Breakfast was ok. Only complaint is that the rooms are not at all soundproof.
Clean and nice facility. Perfectly located for our overnighter with a Costco nearby.
Review Hampton Inn Bixby
visiting family for the weekend....did not spend much time in the hotel
Convenient to major roads to get around the area.
They were fast, friendly, and clean
Disappointed
I was expected alot more of this hotel from the reviews. Check in was great until about 1:15am when my phone rang and woke me up. I wasn’t able to answer it in time, but a few minutes later, someone opened my door. Thankfully, the other lock was on, but it scared me. The employee apologized and went back downstairs and called me. I guess I was checked into one room, but put in another. I understand mistakes, but then the employee continued to ask me who checked me in and to describe them. I was just shaken up and wanted to lay back down and try to sleep. The room was tiny and the bed made sounds anytime you moved. The carpet was loose and coming up from the floor. On a postive note, the breakfast is free and smelled good. The lobby was really nice.
Loved the bed, shower and space in the room. Staff is very friendly. Only complaints are the pillows were way too fluffy and the gravy in the breakfast was terrible. Way too much salt, pepper and watery.
Very nice, friendly staff, clean room I highly recommend, breakfast. Was so good , thank you.

We stayed in a handicap accessible room as my daughter has cerebral palsy. The room was huge. There was four of us so we had plenty of space. The staff was nice enough and the breakfast was good for $free.99😆the only complaints are the door in our room was missing a screw so the handle kept coming off. This wasn’t a deal breaker, in fact we didn’t even mention it to staff. Other than that, you tell the room was a little dated with buckling paint in the bathroom and the handicapped shower head needs to be replaced. The beds weren’t the most comfortable but they worked. We were there for a volleyball tournament and overall were not disappointed. Yes, I would stay again.
