The room was okay, but two days the shower barely had hot water. And parking not so good.
Great location & easy walking to events!
Great location for our stay
.
Everything at the hotel was amazing
This place was great to stay in overall! I did ask the front desk for some more towels, and she said she would have them sent up, but we never received them. The parking was super expensive at this facility, and we had to find much cheaper parking elsewhere, which required walking a couple blocks over. If the parking was maybe $5-10 less, we would have gladly paid $30-35 per night to park at the hotel. But $45 per day/night is pretty ridiculous and not at all competitively priced.
Love the pool and hot tub always in order.
Comfortable stay
Super clean, well maintained & great rates
Property doesn’t have a parking area ad is inconvenient because clients have to pay extra por parking in a nearby parking
Everyone
Good experience
Holiday Lights
Had a great stay as expected of Hampton Inn. I took the family to downtown Denver to see the holiday lights. It’s walking distance from the holiday lights and restaurants. Only con is no free parking.
.
It was great!
It was great!
Had a pleasant stay in a nice room here. I worked in the room right up until checkout and was interrupted five times by staff knocking which was weird and annoying.
Very helpful lady at front desk
Listing advertises free parking, but the hotel only offers $45 valet parking.
Always my go to when i travel in to Denver. Hotel is always clean, breakfast is always great.
Very good
This was a great hotel to stay at based on the events we had planned for the weekend. The king bedroom was spacious and had everything we needed. My only complaint is there was only one of the two elevators working. This made things very inconvenient. Not only for the guests but for the cleaning people.
Excellent
Excellent breakfast with scrambled eggs and sausages, hot chocolate and coffee available 24hrs. Staff extremely polite, room clean, spacious and comfortable all at an excellent price.
Room size was amazing! Perfect for families
Every would have been perfect but it was freezing and we had no working heater in the room it was reported and maintenance claimed they fixed but didn’t, I had to use a hair dryer for the little heat it provided.
Parking in this area sucks! Download an app and pay 15$ a day for the lot across from hotel or 45$ a day for their premium parking
Nothing terrible but nothing special either
Very basic but clean and centrally located
Good breakfast
Enjoyed the hotel.
The property was clean, service was excellent. I wish I had known there was only valet parking for a large extra fee.
Location is good for walking to Capital hill area. 1 of the 2 elevators was not working. Staff was not very friendly and seemed uninterested. Still, decent hotel for the price.
The property was really great
We have stayed here many times over the past 10 years. Always a good stay. 1 of the 2 elevators was broken this time and wait times were longer than usual, but this was nothing other than a bit inconvenient.
Clean rooms, close to many things to discover in Denver
Good maintained property, facilities are less and parking issue
Indoor heated pool hot breakfast
this hotel has an indoor heated pool which is very nice. It is not overly heated. just enought to remove the chill. Thae staff is froendly and very helpful advising about public transit. The breakfast has scrambled eggs bacon waffles plus the usual cereal bagels . the orange juice is excellant. there is a water and coffee/tea station all the time. The bed was comfortable and lots of channels on the tv.
Only thing I didn’t enjoy was that they didn’t provide free parking, other than that this facility was amazing and the staff was excellent!!
The staff was really nice. Great breakfast options
I booked one king size bed bedroom and give two single bed.
It was freqt service ans we will be back
Good overall
It was nice overall but there was rust on the floor from the metal door frame because the fan in the bathroom wasn’t working and as a former home inspector I noticed some obvious water damage.
Convenient location. Breakfast options are nice. Only issues were with keyless access.
Stayed here with family, was able to accommodate all 5 of us. Would stay again, close to downtown and Buell Theatre.
the restaurant was always dirty, the food the same everyday
We had an amazing comfortable stay. Everyone was so nice and helpful. The hotel and the room were clean. Overall a great experience.
Room cost, cleanliness and service all excellent.
Ok not highly recommended.
Area is good for downtown Denver. Really disliked my check in felt the guy was really rude and didn’t care at all about what I was trying to tell him. No acknowledgement at all of it. Only one elevator was working and it would always go to higher floor and work way down. By the time it gets to our floor always full and had to wait again. Hotel was clean. Rooms good size breakfast good for hotel.
No housekeeping
The room was nice and big but they did not have house keeping come and clean the room or restock our towels and when we callled they said housekeeping left for the day it was very inconvenient
I mostly like almost everything around specifically that most of the parts we visited wasn’t that far
Holiday stay
Great valet customer service. Only one working elevator which was a bit of a hassle to wait on with numerous people coming and going. The market area was scarce with hardly anything to snack or drink on, and very pricey. Ice machine on our floor was broken and had to go to a different floor. Our room was clean and tidy. There were small stains on one of the beds blankets but overall no complaints. Even though we chose valet parking, the other “offered” parking is sketchy or you can choose to park at the meters between the times it is free.
Noice
Had a decent stay. Just wish better option for parking. 45$ a night is kind of outrageous in my opinion
Would definitely stay again!
Very nice, was perfect location for what we were in town to do. Room was great size, comfy bed!
Everything is accessible.
Location was very hard to get to
The rooms were spacious and very clean. The common areas were also very clean. I wish that they had a non-dairy milk alternative at breakfast but that's my only suggestion.
Great service clean and safe
Excellent
Horrible experience when I checked in a man by the name of Patrick said my reservation was cancel and didn’t refund my money back I tried to speak to the manger but he never returned my called
Very smooth stay. Lovely property
Clean, spacious room at a good price. There was a problem with the toilet water reservoir tank that required lifting the lid and manually adjusting the stopper. I noticed in a previous review that someone mentioned the same issue. I’m surprised it hasn’t been repaired. Also, I’d recommend that the staff mention the breakfast option when arriving. None of the hotel amenities were mentioned at check-in.
Lots out of order.
1 of 2 elevators out of service. I've machine on our floor out of service. Wasn't going to go traipsing around in my pj's to the next floor so no ice last night. Why is there a pool but no hit tub in the hotel?
Great stay in a nice area in downtown. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room and restroom was clean and spacious for a great price. Definitely recommend for families.
Everything was fantastic. Only thing that could have been better was only one elevator was working
.
There was 1 elevator working NO COFFEE None in the room and the "24-hour coffee bar" was always empty. MOLD in bathroom No English-speaking staff Rooms ARE PITCH BLACK so you can not do meetings via computer. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE and I travel constantly
The service is great
Staff were very helpful, great room and good atmosphere. I would stay here again for sure.
Shower took forever to get warm
The only thing that isn’t acceptable for this hotel is the parking was $48 a night valet and not many other options you can find street parking if lucky and some of the lots are 15 a day but they only have parking till midnight. The hotel needs to offer free parking with a valet option
Was very nice and the shampoo made my hair so soft haha
Nice facility convenient to a number of attractions we were interested in, primarily Denver Art Museum and state capital building. A bit of a walk to many dining options but still many within a mile or so, either a quick Uber or short walk to 16th St Mall free bus.
Cleanliness and Stay
Nice hotel, Wasn't the cleanest hotel. Especially the dining areas for breakfast. Nobody ever came out to clean the tables and they were a mess. Rooms were ok. Best part was how quiet our room was, usually hard to sleep but couldn't hear a thing.
Great staff and great hotel.
Beware of being charged for items you didn't use.
Hotel was okay although the plumbing was not great - the toilet in our bathroom was running for the duration of our stay and it was loud and annoying. My main grief was that one of the $5 (!!) water bottles that they leave in the room went missing on the day the room was cleaned by housekeeping. I brought this to attention of management so we weren't charged but I got a charge on my card anyway after we checked out. I also found parking to be too expensive ($45/night). Definitely will not stay here again. :(
Breakfast was good and there’s a parking lot next to the hotel to save some money because valet or self parking at the hotel was very expensive.
Easy walking distance to everything
Inside was great! Not understanding the parking options on arrival wasn't great.
Nice and big room Good breakfast
Nice & Big room. Good breakfast. Nice staff
We had a great experience here! Everything was clean, staff was very nice. They take many security precautions like doors locked after 11 and a key is needed to access the elevator. This made us feel safe.
Nice staff, clean rooms, convince location.
The outside of this hotel looks extremely sketchy. Also the parking situation is a joke but I suppose thats the entirety of downtown denver. Otherwise, the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Bathroom was adequate and decent breakfast is available. I would stay here again.
Everything was great the room was very clean. And the staff was very nice. I wouldn't mind coming back.
I mostly enjoyed my stay at this property! It is conveniently located, the staff is very kind, and the continental breakfast was good too! There are a couple reasons this property doesn't get 5 stars from me. The first is that the elevator was very slow and the internal stairs didn't lead to the first floor (they lead outside). I know it's not a huge deal, but it was annoying to have to wait so long to get to the first floor of the hotel. Secondly, the shower head in my room was partially broken and difficult to maneuver. It's one of the shower heads that you can twist for different settings but the part that is meant to twist was not aligned with the rest of the head, and water was leaking through the gap. The twist part also easily got stuck when trying to maneuver. After playing with it for a couple minutes, the shower did work but it did leak onto the bathroom floor. Despite these issues, I still overall had a good stay at the hotel and these are fixable issues - a shower head is replaceable and one elevator was out of service and I imagine that will be getting fixed soon. The hotel was also in a walkable area and has many parking lots closeby. The bed/pillows were very comfortable and the air is controlled by whoever's in the room. I would likely stay in this hotel again if I was in the area!
Very unsafe area bad parking, trip hazards, dirty windows and floors, paper thin walls
great place and affordable - quiet and easy parking
Only one elevator was working , we were on the top floor. Had to wait for the elevator a fair amount of time.
Great room. Clean and comfortable.
One elevator was out so we ran into lines and had to wait for multiple trips since all the people could not fit into the elevator
The breakfast was convenient, the staff was helpful with directions and events going on in town, it was very quiet except for some guest banging on the door next to us but i don't feel that falls on the hotel. Overall it was good!
It was great and lovely. Just didn’t like that I had to pay for parking. They had valet but for $45 a night. Paid parking in the area or paid parking meter. Other then that was a great place to stay.
Excellent place to stay in downtown Denver, friendly staff, good breakfast.
Typical Hampton
The facility itself was terrific, though the front desk was less than welcoming.
Great room. Helpful staff. Clean and tidy.
Downtown Denver at a decent cost
Good bed, quiet building, near where i had to be in the morning. Price excellent.
Hard bed
Everything overall was okay, the bed was hard so didn't sleep. I like a firm bed but it was hard.
Nice place
Good service
The greeting received upon check in was cold and indifferent. Customer service experienced at the desk made us feel unwelcomed. The room was great! The breakfast was great! The fitness room was small but the equipment was good. The elevator is slow and only one was operational. The cleaning staff was very friendly so they received a tip. Good price. Thank you.
Very nice place to stay. Breakfast was good. We didn’t have hot water on our first day. One of the elevators was out of order so it was a long wait for the elevator. Staff was very helpful.
