Clean and welcoming
Home for the weekend
David is awesome. He works at the desk. Always makes us feel welcome each time we stay. He is why we return. Could the breakfast have biscuits on the weekend or pancakes?
Everything at the hotel was wonderful. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only issue I had was the parking fee. Didn't expect this.
10/10 recommend!!
This trip was amazing! The staff at the hotel were the best! My friends and I had a great stay! Thank you!
We stayed for 2 nights. Room was basic, clean. The breakfast was not restocked and frequently out of food, the coffee bar was also out of many items and not restocked. The front desk staff were polite and nice. Very noisy and could hear people walking above as well as conversations in the room beside you. Overall, fine but nothing great. I guess what I would expect for a college campus.
N/a
Very close to campus and a great Mexican restaurant.
Good location and parking (while an extra fee) was helpful and convenient. Rooms were pretty standard but some of the common spaces could use some updates or maintenance (very worn carpet in some hallway areas).
Good
nice stay
,
Staff was great!
Was close to the children’s hospital so was convenient. Seems nice.
My kids and I needed a clean, safe place to stay while in Cincinnati for a concert. This hotel was in walking distance and reasonably priced. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location was clean and their breakfast offered many options. Would definitely recommend!
Spacious room, great breakfast
Close proximity to UC.
Very well kept up and clean, nice and friendly
Solid
I would stay here again
Staff was very polite, hotel was close to our destination.
I booked through this hotel because it was close to the school I needed to attend for an inservice. Staff was accommodating and everything was clean.
Staff super nice super helpful, nice rooms & breakfast was great. Microwave didnt spin because wrong plate in it.Overall visit was Great. Id say 4 1/2 Stars
The handicap accessible entrance was blocked with orange cones and yellow tape and completely snow covered. If there was an issue with this part of hotel I wish it would have been noted somewhere and I would not have booked a room. Considering the amount of snow that came down I needed to stay overnight before heading home and my adult son is in a wheelchair. I had our bags and wheelchair with him in it to lift up one step and was then asked to take a parking pass to place in my vehicle. I asked to not have to do that with current conditions.
Very nice lobby dining area and above average included breakfast. Pool area had dirty spots. Desk attendant eating fried chicken during check-in was unprofessional, but appreciated staff's patience with rambunctious children.
I will stay there again
Close to UC Medical Center, my sister in ICU , room old fashioned but comfortable. Staff helpful
Close to downtown and free parking
Great location! Close to the zoo! Hot showers! Delicious breakfast! Neighborhood feels a bit sketchy. Bed was hard. Air conditioner when it kicked on, it had a loud constant clicking sound. Room had greasy fingerprints and no trashcan liners.
Room was very dirty. Walking in the room for a few minutes with bare feet, went into shower and the dirt from the carpet was all over the shower floor, disgusting.
They were easily able to accommodate a family of five and were very friendly.
Serious concerns about cleanliness of room
The stay itself was not bad but I had some serious concerns with the cleanliness of the room. The mattress protector, which was not fully covered by sheets, had some yellow stains, the origin of which I prefer not to know. Overall, it did not seem like the room was very well cleaned as I found hair in the bathroom that was not mine, the trashcans did not have a liner and one had what appeared to be blood stains, and the shower was old with staining and possible mold as well. The room was also somewhat outdated and the red painted walls of the room were not very inviting. The staff was friendly and the lobby was very nice, but I likely would not stay here again due to the issues of cleanliness and overall appearance of the room. I'm sure at this price you could find a much cleaner, more inviting room.
Location is great, but hotel is starting to look run down. Will probably stay elsewhere next visit
We haves stayed in this hotel multiple times, this time it seemed different. Not as clean, no shampoo, soap or tissues.
Great place to stay.
Dave was great he help find it was dark and could see the street signs and talk me right on the building Very nice person. We'll back in about Month hope he still there. Thanks Dave
Our freezer didn't work in our room, melted the overpriced ice cream that we bought (AT THE HOTEL!), and they wouldn't reimburse us. Seriously? DO BETTER with your customer service!
Very nice and accomdating stay. Also quite clean
Staff should be friendly.
Friendly staff, easy to find and park
Great staff. Friendly and checked in with me.
Floors throughout the facility, including elevator floors, were filthy. The room door let in WAY too much noise from the hallway outside. Otherwise, staff were friendly and helpful.
.
Seems par for the course
Easy access to attractions such as zoo and dining.
Parking lot was just completely redone. Nice. You need to pay for parking every night you stay.
Great
Our room was dirty! There was garbage left all over the floor. We arrived late and didn’t see it until morning. The beds and showers had stains. We have used this hotel before but it was not in this condition. For being a “Hilton” we were very unsatisfied for its cleanliness.
Ok
I had a king size room and the bed was the most uncomfortable bed. It felt like plywood was under us. Besides that, the room was clean, the staff was great and the free breakfast was good! Had a lot of options!
Conveniently located near Cincinnati Zoo!
The room was fine and everything was clean. The staff were polite and friendly.
I was in an ADA accessible room, so the shower had both a fixed head and a hand held. The hand held was not functional. No one asked if I wanted or needed such a room. I’m not sure why it wasn’t kept available for someone requiring those features. The cost was substantially more than quoted on the app. Rates should be posted as actual “all in” costs.
close to the University of Cincinnati, good breakfast, good staff
Clean rooms and very nice public spaces. The staff was friendly and very accommodating from start to finish.
We came to visit our grandson at University of Cincinnati. The hotel was very close to his house.
Most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. It was hard and stiff. There were stains/sticky spots on the carpet and stains on the sheets to the playpen we had them bring up. The pool was closed and was told it would be closed until further notice but we weren’t notified of that before our stay. The pool was supposed to be a fun thing for us and the kids to do.
The service was great and workers were friendly! The beds though not so good too hard and uncomfortable otherwise it was a good place to stay!
Conveniently located to the University of Cincinnati
Comfy and close to UC
Surprised how large the room was. Very close to UC and lots of restaurants. Will stay again when I come to visit.
We have stayed at this property twice before and have had a good experience. The pool was closed due to repairs and the parking lot was partially closed due to construction. Would have appreciated a heads up on these things. Overall, still a good stay.
The location was a convenient Uber to downtown. The staff was excellent, very friendly, truly above normal service. Thank you.
Nice clean quiet hotel
The staff were very, very friendly and accommodating. Whatever we needed they took care of.
Older hotel. Noisy AC. Bad part of town. Breakfast was pretty good. Some staff very friendly, others not so much.
Customer support staff was very rude
Close to area attractions, friendly staff, good breakfast, overall nice hotel, would stay again!
A decent hotel with comfortable bed and clean functional bathroom. The room was a bit weathered though. Staff and common areas all seemed nice.
Inaccurate distance to Paycor
Great hotel. My issue is with Hotels.com. The distance to Paycor is almost TWICE as far as stated. It's nearly 5.5 miles not the stated 2.74 miles. There is another Hampton on the same street (Vine St,) that's closer.
It was convenient to UC for our tour.
Our Hairdryer outlet was not working. Room smelled a bit musty. But overall we were pleased with our stay.
We stayed for one night at those location, the staff are pretty friendly, but upon check-in, they didn’t have our room ready. The room that we stayed in did not feel clean. Also, the person that was in the room prior to us left their food in the refrigerator. The housekeepers left the food in there so we had our food mixed in with a stranger food in the refrigerator, which made me cringe. The overall facility was decent but I would not ever stay here in the future .
Room was very noisy from inside the hotel. Staff was excellent. Friendly and helpful.
Close to city and convenient
Hate paying for parking. Otherwise no complaints, the bathroom was HUGE!!
Check in was easy, room clean, nice lobby. Parking was slightly confusing. Be sure to read the sign
Its was beautiful second time staying love it there
Terrible check in
Not very informative at check in. Bathtub was dirty, sheets were dirty. Breakfast was excellent, very quiet atmosphere. I always love to stay at Hampton although ill.never stay at this one again.
While staff was friendly and very helpful our room floor was dirty, therr was chewing tabacco rubbed into the floor beside the bed, and some sticmy substance we kept stepping in. Our feet were grey on the bottoms. We traveled with an infant and we couldnt put her down. In front of our hotel room door there were shreds of paper everywhere. A maid said she was coming back to vacuum but never did. Our tub and shower worked half-way. When we turned the shower on the water was still coming out of the faucet so water the water pressure from the shower head was very low. Also the drains....we stood in water eaiting for the super slow drainage out of the bathtub AND bathroom faucet. They were BOTH backed up. The next morning upon going to breakfast the seating was bench style and then chairs on the opposite side which were soiled in either dirt or grease. I have photos. The bench seats u literally fell into them and cant get up. The fabric bsckboards to the bench style was also soiled and stained. Last but not least when we booked the hotel, there was NO mention about being charged for parking! We were charged $9 for parking yet we were given a hotel hanger for inside the car. There were signs up that said free parking for hotel patrons yet we were charged $9. We booked this hotel because of convenience to the zoo. We will never make this mistake again.
This was my ch further from the freeway than I thought and not in the nicest area. The staff was very friendly.
Dirty carpets and bed boxsprings
The staff was wonderful and parking was easy getting in and out. The beds are like sleeping on wood panels, ours was extremely hard. It made it hard to sleep. The room was clean but our bathroom vent was very dirty, minor detail. We will be staying if we go to Cincinnati again, bonus there is a taco place right next door that is phenomenal.
Unfortunately, all the ice machines were being serviced at same time Thurs 6/20... So no ice available?!?! Luckily one machine worked later in day. Tricky to locate property on GPS 1 st time in
The hotel itself was very good. Area around the hotel seemed alittle sketchy.
Not great value for money.
Pretty run down, generally just very average. Nowhere close to being good value for money. Far too expensive. Breakfast was ok.
Parking fee not disclosed
I stayed here for one night. When I checked out, they didn't give me a receipt, and my charge finalized at $9 higher. I had to call and ask to find out that the $9 was a parking fee that was not disclosed anywhere. Otherwise, the room was fine, I just want to warn other folks about this extra cost.
The whole staff was great.very helpful and polite.
Great location. Near a lot of places to eat. Room was clean & comfortable. Fitness center was cool.
Nice and quiet. Clean rooms. Pleased with our stay!
There is a $50 incidental fee that they return and $9 parking fee to park in their lot. Otherwise you are taking a chance to park on the street
The people were SO nice!!
The location was convenient and close to the University of Cincinnati. I was there for my graduation and this was a perfect location. The staff was very friendly.
Disturbed night
Microwave went off repeatedly at midnight. Until we finally left door open to stop
.
Great stay at the Hampton
Stayed one night. Was in the city to see a concert at a nearby concert hall. The Hampton was very nice. Free parking, great breakfast, and quiet, clean room. Staff was very friendly as well. Nothing but good things to say.
The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was nice. The people above us were loud at odd hours.
Great place to stay
Super close to UC!

The staff at check in was rude to say the least. Other interactions with the front desk was less than friendly, not very helpful at all. They are going through renovations on the 5th floor, right above our room which started at 7:30 am sharp on Saturday!! When we asked about the status of the construction starting time the night before, the staff at the front desk claimed they were not sure,"probably about 10 am", nope 7:30. I asked if we could be moved to a different side of the floor and away from the construction and was told we'll let you know, she never did. There was a gentleman named Dave who was the only one who welcomed us and offered help at any point of our stay. The room was clean not so modern, hence the remodeling going on. There should have been a note on the website about the ongoing construction, there was not. It will be going on until mid July btw. There is also no mention of a parking fee on the website, there is a daily fee, $9 daily, is not a lot but not cool when you are expecting free parking. I'll give this stay an OK.
