Terribly Managed Hotel

This hotel is very poorly managed. I was put into a smoking room despite requesting otherwise, the wifi stopped working for the entire day totally preventing my ability to conduct business, the cafe area staff were rude and demanding, and the room A/C was mostly non-functional so the room kept getting too hot. Avoid this terribly managed Hilton property like the plague.

Main part was it was not clean. Empty bottles under the bed. Dust everywhere. Bathroom not cleaned well. Staff member who checked me in did know the difference between a twin and a king bed

The hotel was great. The room neat and orderly. The breakfast(free0 was more than you could ask for. the only downside was transportation from the airport. The directions to the pick up were vague. -floor2 gateB. I was never able to locate -2 floor. I would stay there again.

The restaurant was very disappointing. Quite expansive for was offered.

The suite was fine but overpriced compared to what you would get in the city. If you don't have a short layover and will go to the city anyway, not worth staying at this hotel. I arrived a bit early in the day but the staff despite having vacancies did not give me a room until noon and I had to sit in the lobby for a few hours.

Food available was not very good and the english language TV channels were not available.

The staff is exceptionall ! The manager greeted us personally and helped us with some problems we were having with flights .. the food was delicious and this hotel felt like HOME ! The beds were amazing Also ! We have tried all of the hotels near Istanbul airport and this is the best !

Dogs barking all night long. I booked near the airport so I can leave my bag at storage for a day or two after checking out. This is the first time a hotel denies me this for thin walls. Also super thin walls. I could hear every single word from a normal conversation next door

Property is clean and in great condition. Room was super comfortable for spending a night. It is easy to get to on the Metro, two stops away from airport at the Tasoluk station. Walk up hill, about 300 yards. Best to get some cash and pay for the metro card with cash rather than credit card.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was impressed by the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms. The location was also very convenient, being just a short distance from the airport. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which added to the overall positive experience. However, I did encounter an issue with the pricing of drinks. The menu listed a certain price, but I was charged a higher amount. When I inquired, I was told that the extra charge was for room service because the kitchen was closed, even though I had ordered directly from the bar. This explanation didn’t make much sense and left me feeling disappointed. It would be helpful if they clarified these charges beforehand to avoid confusion in the future. Overall, it's a nice place to stay, but watch out for unexpected fees.

Good place for layover

The best The staff customer service I have ever seen in my life!!!!! My highest compliments! In life in business, the differential in measuring this in invaluable commodity is customer service! I was extremely impressed with this too young gentleman and lady at reception desk that help me out at midnight after a long flight.

Overpriced, and AC didn't work

AC didn't work in our room; called the desk, but no one ever arrived. Opening the window helped after the sun went down. Hotel also does not have airport service.

Don't end a great trip in a lousy place!

This hotel is a long drive from the IST airport. Then, you walk through the restaurant, a sort of kind of bar, and finally come to reception. Pretty weird. While the staff seemed nice and spoke English (my Turkish is weak!), they were inundated with people. Understaffed. An hour later, we came down to the thoroughfare that is their corridor/foyer/restaurant. We waited while 5 wait staff stood around talking to one another, then we ordered and watched as the chef, a manager or two, and the 5 wait staff carried around bowls of food, moving them up and down the empty salad bar/hallway. One young woman literally moved the same bowl from place to place four times. After 20 minutes (really!) she ladeled some tepid, bland lentil soup into a bowl and handed it to my partner. 15 minutes later, I asked a passing, confusing young man if I could have my chicken Caesar. He assured me it was on its way. 15 minutes later, four more salad bar repositionings, and lots of frantic activity, I got a sliced chicken breast, some bottled dressing, on iceberg lettuce. Worst restaurant imaginable, really. I don't usually stay at super-budget hotels, but this is what I suspect their service and meals are like. The room was OK, overlooking the freeway. Nicely furnished, quiet, clean. The housekeeper was very gracious. I travel to Istanbul every year. I wouldn't ever stay here again.

Budget Hotel at a Luxury Price

The room was on the small side, and had sterile and formulaic furnishings suitable for a budget hotel at half the price point. At a 15 minute drive from the airport, such a high premium for airport proximity is not worth it. This hotel is about making money, not providing service. Better and easier to stay in the city and take the excellent train to the airport.

It's nothing to do with the hotel, the hotel itself is good and clean and safe. It's just area around it is not great. It's on the outskirts of town and there is nothing around it but a small convenience shop opposite the hotel. Do not plan to spending time outside. but hotel is totally fine for overnight stay, it's near the airpot

We only had a brief stay at the Hampton after a late flight into Istanbul, checking in around 11.30 and leaving at 9 am the next morning, but we were impressed by the cleanliness and comfortable, well thought out room , the bed was great and the pillows even better Would definitely stay again

The front desk staff are excellent and the facilities are clean and not run down. Among the area hotels near the airport this is one of the better ones. The rest of the staff however are not reliable. We had horrible room service they got the order wrong and after being tipped never came back. Even after multiple calls. With the bellboy we topped but needed change. He never returned and when we doing him in the lobby and asked, he became insolent and practically threw the bill back at me, refusing to take the lesser amount. The other staff were embarrassed. Saba at the front desk was amazing and have excellent client support and assistance she's stellar. The room was comfy but there are 111 channels and only about 30 are available. Overall a good hotel and especially if you're overnighting near the airport but the most of staff needs training badly.

This is a great airport hotel. Clean and offers a restaurant and bar. Easy trip to IST airport.

I have used Hampton hotel several times and every time the staff was very efficient and friendly. The hotel is located about 10 min drive from the airport, which is very convenient for having a good night sleep between the flights. I highly recommend this hotel.

Quiet clean and personal

Very clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Decent fitness facility. Food in restaurant was good and very reasonable. Nice welcoming touches at check in desk - Turkish delight, cookies, orange juice. Will definitely use it again as my IST airport hotel!

Front desk staff very welcoming

Would really benefit from an airport shuttle, although not many hotels in area large enough to share. Alternatively an on-call shuttle from the M11 station would be welcomed as the walk to the hotel involves a 500m uphill climb.

The hotel is close to the airport, has good value and all necessities to stay worry free for the flight next day. Buffet breakfast has a nice variety of everything, except meats. Everything in the animal protein department is heavily injected with substitutes, phosphates, etc.. Choice of cheeses and olives is excellent. I would definitely stay again.

It's a new hotel with small and nicely laid out rooms. Super clean and in a convenient area near the airport. We stayed there only one night since we had an early flight in the morning. The desk staff were lovely. It's too far from the main city area if you're wanting to see the sites, but it's wonderful for being close to the airport.

The staff are great

Very disappointed. I’ve booked a king size with sofa bed room, however I was given a basic room upon arrival, because the room I pre-booked and paid for was unavailable. There’s no gluten free food. All food is open buffet and it’s not marked for food allergies/intolerances. Staff don’t know if any of the food is gluten free and when you ask them, they are trying to guess! There’s no gluten free bread. Very poor, considering the room booking system stated gluten free food was available. If you travel with a child who has dietary requirements, you will struggle. The room was dirty. I can’t believe it’s Hilton! I will not be booking this hotel on my return trip.

I always stay in this property when I am traveling between cities; it is very close to Istanbul airport and it makes it traveling easy. The property is clean, safe and the staff members are very professional.
