We a family of 4 had a great stay at this hotel, spotless clean, the staff were amazing nothing too much trouble. We went half board breakfast was excellent alot of variety unfortunately evening meal not so much pretty much same thing each night so thats why not the full 5 star rate. Saying this would stay again but just B&B.

Great hotel and pool area

Amazing hotel and location. Pool is lovely. Stayed in so many hotels in Salou and this is my fave! The only issue is the walls are very thin and so sleep isn’t the best. We moved rooms due to a child screaming all night and parents playing with the child at 3am-5am in the morning!!! Staff were quick to move and sort but walls were very thin and we could hear guests in the other room just not at 3am!

Carlos in the front bar was very nice and we had a lot of fun in the evening playing pool

Short stay. Staff were very helpful. Our room was certainly better than basic without being fancy. Nice balcony with pool view and a super powerful shower Salou surprised me at how nice a ton it was. The beach and esplanade area are open and clean.

Decent hotel

Overall decent hotel. It’s centrally located; not far from the beach; pretty pool area; and wonderful breakfast. Lobby area and pool bar were very nice as well, and the rooms and common areas were very clean. The front desk staff and housekeeping were friendly and pleasant. Down sides: they nickel-and-dime you for simple items. For ex. you have to pay 10 euros cash-only refundable deposit per beach towel and 1 euro if you want a fresh one every day. If you lose the receipt, they will hassle you to refund the deposit. The room safe costs 3 euros to rent plus another refundable deposit. The rooms don’t have irons or ironing boards. Irons only can be rented at additional charge. The rooms were older and dated, with cheap furnishings, though I understand that other rooms had been updated somewhat. Nevertheless the beds and linens were comfortable.

Excellent! Close to the beach and restaurants very clean, comfortable beds and a good shower. Lots of choices for breakfast & the staff were polite & friendly. We stayed in a superior room for 4 nights and really enjoyed our stay.

Helpful staff, however balcony looked onto 2 other buildings and at no point got the sun on it

Some of the entertainment was quite intrusive, for example, you'd be napping by the pool only for music to blast out of the speakers and one of the two daily dance sessions would begin (the two entertainers doing a low energy dance by themselves), and the bar didn't have enough seats (packed every night). Buffet was good, staff were friendly, location was good.

Overall hotel was good. Hot food was always cold or slightly warm, the food station where food was cooked fresh was only place where food was hot. The cleanliness of the room was not good, bathroom was dirty and had hairs left from previous people, also silver fish were coming out of the wall in bathroom. If you bought drinks from main bar in hotel waiters were hesitant to give you the full change back, best to buy drinks direct from bar. You don't mind leaving a tip for the waiters, but it should be up to you how much to tip them, not what they want!

It was very central. Food was fine. Could not get the heater to work. And no parking and no parking discount at offsite facility as they had stated online. Otherwise, staff was really friendly. Oh and pictures are a lot nicer than actual hotel. But it was all fine

Lovely hotel

Lovely hotel in a great location with large pool. Very comfortable room and the wi-fi worked OK. The only let down was that the room was not cleaned very well. The Maitre D was brilliant, I have never seen one work so hard and the reception staff were outstanding as well. I requested a room in a quiet spot and they were very accommodating. I can't comment on the entertainment as I didn't stay in the hotel in the evening. Would stay here again.

Good holiday

Location of the hotel was excellent the hotel staff was very helpful and always happy the food was a very good standard overall we had a very good time and we will return

Disappointed with poor food quality on half board

It was not we expected. The hotel caters mostly for seniors whereas we are a couple in our 30s. We had half board meals and as some other reviewers commented aswell the food quality is rather poor and not much choices in my view. The bathrooms are old with chip board wallpaper, it needs renovation. The view we had and paid extra for was pool side but the balconies themselves are not that nice either. Overall this is definitely not a real 4star hotel, more like 3star

Nice Hotel with a friendly atmosphere

The town of Lagos is great but this hotel is set up for families. The town is really nice but is commercialised & set up for the younger set in the evenings The beaches are beautiful to look at but the water is cold from the Atlantic

Over rated hotel

Not a 4 star hotel. No internet signal in room.Front desk staff was outstanding and helpful.Not worth the euro paid per night.

Great Location, Great Staff - few changes needed

Needs kettle in room and hot tub / swimming pool to be heated. Also can't believe you have to pay a daily charge to rent a safe - first time I've every had to do this. Great location and bar, went half board - food was very good at both breakfast and dinner and staff in the dining hall were very attentive.

Nice re-furbished hotel but very hard beds (Sorry)

This hotel is close to town and has recently been re-furbished, the hotel caters for mainly fully inclusive guests and consequently, the dining room is busy but the quality and choice of food is amazing, we only had breakfast but there was something there for every taste, fresh and well prepared, even a glass of Cava if you wanted it, the only downside with this hotel for us was the very hard beds, they were new but we found them too hard to sleep on, otherwise we would have given this hotel 5 stars. If you're considering a stay in Salou consider somewhere else, Cambrils 5k down the road was a million times better, we re-visited Salou after first visiting it in the 80's I don't know if it's us and we were younger then but the resort has no character and is down at heel, but not cheap and very little Spanish charm.

Nice hotel close to the beach

Arrived on first day of opening, staff were extremely organised, large amount of check ins handled very efficiently by reception staff. Enjoyed a good choice at breakfast, always lots of fresh food. Close to beach and main resort area. On checkout day reception staff were very helpful to me when I was a bit late in checking out when they had a full hotel, can't thank them enough, lovely ladies on Sunday 16th april

This is a wonderfull Hotel

Our room was on the 2nd floor overlooking the pool..The rooms are on the small side,but perfectly adequate ..The beds are on the firm side ,but again adequte..A wee bit of advice, keep your voice down in your room ! The walls are so thin you can hear your neighbours flush the toilet or use the shower lol..This is a splendid Hotel,we have stayed in a number of 4star hotels around Salou and this is the Best one yet ..The restaurant staff are very friendly,they always gave us a warm greeting..If you go with children ,then you will love Anna..She looked after our 2 granddaughters and us ,her English isn't great lol which made it all the more entertaining lol..Anna was a definate plus to the hotel...I have read the bad reviews on this hotel and can honestly say I can't fault it , Just go here and see for yourself !

Pleasant stay

Hotel was clean and spacious. Staff were polite and courteous especially the catering staff nothing to much of a bother for them. Food was excellent where there was something for every nationality to eat. Rooms and bed linen were cleaned every dayThe only downside was the bathrooms were in need of modernisation and there were no tea/coffee making facilities within the rooms

We had a room with half pension. Breakfast and dinner buffet was incredible. We feel the carpets in the hallway need to be replaced or at least shampooed, other then that this hotel is great. Entertainment in the lobby aera might be to loud if on lower floors, but recommended to attend. Definitely would go back, great deal for the money. Parking just in front of hotel. Close to beach

Hotel was very close to the area we needed to be

We used the hotel as a base but did not use any of its facilities apart from eating breakfast each morning. Reception staff were very friendly indeed. Would use this hotel again

Depends what you want.

Poor rating based more on my expectations rather than the hotel. I read the reviews and expected a totally different hotel experience. I was expecting a 4 star hotel similar to marriott etc. Did not expect a cheered up 80's family hotel. Did my share of those when the kids were young! I am sure if you wanted a hotel with loud music in the pool area, 20 minute queue for breakfast, no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, which had noisy in affective AC, then it would have been great. The hotel was clean, had had a refurb in the last few years, looked like it had a nice pool. Staff were also, as you would expect from the type of hotel...harrasessed by hundreds of issues, and thus a little rude. If you are after an in your face experience and you want to spend it close to other like minded folk then probably a good choice.

Had a room with a load of bins outside so all you could hear at 4 am was bottles crashing into a truck worst hotel room I have ever had and the food was inedible

fun place to stay

It is a great place to stay, close to beach,restaurants. Staff is very helpful and speaks multiple languages.over all a fun place to stay.

Holiday

9 nights stay in the hotel. The facilities are good but the rooms are rather small. We asked for a pool facing room which we got, but as it was positioned on the first floor in the corner the balcony did not receive much sun, neither in the morning or evening due to the shadow of the hotels. The pool area gets very busy and is cramped. But this is probably indicative of the whole resort. Limited buffet breakfast, but good food.

Great location, Close to the beach

The hotel is located within a 5 minute stroll to the beach. There is a big cold water pool. All the hotels areas are clean and very well maintained. Breakfast is good and run smoothly and efficiently. Only real minus is that the rooms are extremely basic (not of 4 star quality) with very little stoarge space for a holiday hotel.

Good location close to beach and shops

Hotel is in a good location most things are easily accessible which I think is the primary plus point about the hotel. The pool is OK as is the food the entrance of the hotel gives a four star impression and staff are friendly however when saw the room we were left quite disappointed. They are pretty basic and what you would expect in a 3 star hotel they were not even close to the standard of a 4 star hotel but overall we had a decent time mainly due to the location and the food wasn't too bad although nothing special either

Not that good, not that bad

Most hotel areas and our room were kept clean enough. The pool-based activities each day were good (e.g. water polo, aqua aerobics, kids mini disco) but the evening entertainment is shockingly bad (a guy crooning along to a Casio keyboard). It's also very, very loud. If you have a poolside room you'll struggle to get to sleep before it finishes (at midnight). This won't be a problem for most, but we went with young kids so were often back in the room by 10pm. Some staff - particularly the cleaners and children's entertainers - were fantastic. Neither the choice nor quality of the food was great - we were tired of it by the 3rd night - but you'll struggle to find anything better in Salou's restaurants, 99% of which serve only full english breakfasts/burgers/fish & chips/curry etc. Drinks prices were relatively high, even for a hotel, but spirit measures were very generous. It's a good 15-20 minute walk into Salou itself, but it's well located for the beach, bus stops, and Port Aventura is only a 15-20 minute walk away too. Overall, an underwhelming experience - not unpleasant, but certainly not worth re-visiting.

Hotel was in great location. It was very clean and staff where always polite and helpful. The only downside was the food. Not enough variation and lot of it was cold for most of the time. Overall had a great time and would definately go back

I booked this hotel as we have stayed in the H10 in tenerife so i was expecting something very similar but it was not as good, the room was very small for a triple room, and the food was not very good not enough choice not like the tenerife hotel

Excellent hotel. Amazing staff

Very nice hotel. Great location near beach, shops, terraces, pubs, restaurants. Spacious and very clean rooms. Very nice common areas. Everything very clean and well maintenance. Excellent restaurant, big variety and quality on food and service. Extremely kind and helpful staff in all the areas in the hotel, mainly in reception, restaurant and garden bar. Probably the best summer-holidays hotel where I have ever been. The staff made my granma and me have a very comfortable stay. I would highly recommend this hotel.

great location and nice hotel

Really nice hotel and in a really good location- 2 mins from the beach and main bars and restaurants. The food was nice enough and the free wifi was really useful as well. The only let down was that they did not know how to get to the reus airport and told us a bus went every half and hour only to discover after waiting for an hour that there was no such thing and so we had to get a rushed taxi. It would have been good to have shuttle bus or better info on how get to the airport. This is a minor thing and on the whole the hotel was really lovely and would reccomend it.

Es la tercera ocasión que visitamos este hotel, y en términos generales es acorde al precio que se paga. Valoramos mucho a los dos monitores de Noa y Junior, que estando solos hacen los posible para entretener a los niños. Auqnue en teoría es un hotel familiar, el 90% de los huespedes son jubillados o personas más senior. Fundamentalmente Bristish. El bufet a la hora de comer es muy justito, a la cena es un poquito más variado.

Escapada de parejas

Hotel perfecto para una escapada ,cerca de la playa y a todos los lugares de interes. Personal de comerdor muy amables y atentosen especial Rocío, pendiente siempre de todo. Punto negativo para el camarero del Pub. Pocas ganas de trabajar,y demasiado,demasiado,demasiado nervioso y mal educado "debe ser exceso de cafeina" . El primer dia nos quiso cobrar una consumición de más y al hacerle la observación, ya le caimos mal para el resto de los días, tuvimos que poner en conocimiento de dirección su conducta totalmente inadmisible hacia nosotros. Afortunadamente la persona encargada de dirección nos escuchó y mostró su preocupación ante tales hechos. Aparte de este incidente,hotel de 10 y seguro que volveremos.

L’hôtel est bien situé, mais attention, il n’y a pas de parking sur place. Un parking est disponible à proximité pour 29€/jour, ce qui peut vite s’ajouter au budget de votre séjour. Autre point à noter, la piscine est assez petite par rapport au nombre de chambres. Pour espérer trouver un transat, il est impératif de se présenter dès 8h30 pour poser sa serviette, sinon il y a de fortes chances que vous ne trouviez pas de place. Ce sont des aspects à prendre en compte avant de réserver.

Orientado a británicos

Bien situado, a dos pasos de la playa. Mucha zona azul para aparcar cerca, pero anuncian que hay aparcamiento privado y siempre está lleno. Recepción moderna, pero habitaciones algo anticuadas, sobre todo los baños. Algo rudiosas, al haber puertas entre las habitaciones, menos mal que cerradas con llave. Como si antes hubiesen sido apartamentos. Piscina bien cuidada pero baldosas resbaladizas, vimos varias caídas en una sola tarde. Comida orientada a británicos, los cuales eran mayoría. En 3 días, ningún arroz mediterráneo ni pescado de calidad. El jamón serrano al corte sin curar casi, ni a un forastero se lo cuelas. Otros productos sí que eran de buen sabor, como repostería, carnes, etc. En una tarta nos salió algo de moho verdoso, y tanto mi pareja como yo tuvimos digestiones pesadas todas las comidas. Para el precio, no nos terminó de convencer.

les chambres son décevantes, vieillottes avec une salle de bain d'un autre âge. le pire dans cet hôtel c'est qu'on m'a demandé de payer pour utiliser le coffre fort de la chambre, incroyable. le staff de l'accueil et les dames de ménage sont très bons, tout le reste du staff n'est pas à l'écoute des clients et très hautains, mention spéciale au bar qui ne semble pas du tout motivé et impliqué. la location est très bonne, en bas des commerces et proche de la plage. petite salle de sport et bonne piscine

Très bon sejour

Notre séjour a été fantastique… en amoureux A refaire Juste un bémol… pas de lit double mais 2 lits une place, en amoureux c’est pas drôle

Debio ser mejor en tiempos pasados

Desgraciadamente, no ha sido una buena experiencia. Despues de pagar mas de 1.500 € por 2 semanaes, lo primero que nos encontramos fue unn empleado en la puerta que ni siquiera nos dejo parar para sacar las maletas (con los dias te das cuenta que SI se puede pero solo para españoles con coche de gama alta o extrangeros). El WI-FI NO llega a las habitaciones, tienes que estar apuntando al pasillo todo el rato y aun asi se pierde cada dos por tres. El aire acondicionado apenas si se nota, incluso dejandolo toda la mañana encendido. En ningun sitio del buffet hay informacion de alergenos, tienes que ir preguntando producto por producto. La limpieza, y no por culpa de las trabajadoras sino por el tiempo maximo que les dan por habitacion, es francamente mejorable, en 2 semanas cambiaron las sabanas 1 vez, el champu y gel 1 vez (el dia 13 de 15), las toallas casi igual, algo mas pero no mucho, barrian justo lo que se ve, literalmente y fregaban menos... En definitiva, creo que el Hotel, en algun momento debio tener la categoria y calidad de las estrellas que tiene, pero desgraciadamente, hoy por hoy, tanto el servicio, como el comfort y la calidad, dejan mucho que desear y estan bastante lejos de las supuestas estrellas que acreditan

Prestations décevantes pour un hôtel 4 étoiles. Climatisation vieillissante, salle de bains avec le sol sale (cheveux en grosse quantité) Très très bruyant - nuits difficiles - séjour écourté d’une nuit du coup Restauration pas très bonne (petit déjeuner et dîner). Impossibilité de se garer à proximité. Personnel très agréable. Piscine agréable mais difficulté de trouver un transat puisqu’il est autorisé de les réserver en posant sa serviette dessus au petit matin. Bar de la piscine sympathique.

Le seul point noir c'est le parking ou il n'y a jamais de place et de plus pour décharger et charger le véhicule c'est très difficile et pas adapté avec un vigile pas très agréable. On ne peut pas se garer devant car il y a un arrêt de bus et on est obligé de tourner afin de trouver une place payante. Ce serait parfait si l'hotel remédiait à ce point noir.

Fick inte checka in trots att rummet var bokat och betalt. Min vän hade blivit av med plånboken på tivoli samma dag och de godkände inte bara mitt id trots att rummet var bokat på mitt namn. Hemsk upplevelse!

Bortset fra at værelset var for lille til 3 personer, så var alt perfekt. Lækker mad, skøn pool og flink og venligt personale.

Agreable séjour

Très bonne situation géographique pres de la plage Piscine et jacuzzi 👍 Très bel assortiment pour le petit petit-déjeuner Par contre le côté négatif concerne l approvisionnement des gels douches utilisés et des serviettes, ils ne sont pas renouvelés après utilisation
