Nice hotel centrally located. Good gym and pool. I liked the room except the AC could only be switched on or off - the thermostat did not work. And the window no longer opens - it was screwed shut, which made the air in the room very stale.

Great friendly staffs. The hotel room are so run down that most of the stuffs are spoiled. Cloaked bath tub, hot water not working at times, Soaked carpets, smelly blanket due to high humidity etc etc. The condition of the stay dont justify 4 stars at all.

A Centrally Located, Full-Service Hotel

This is a centrally located hotel with two restaurants. I chose this hotel primarily for the onsite restaurants and river view. Sometimes it is easier to eat there than to search for a restaurant outside the hotel, especially if you are new to the area, or do not know where to go. I would say, if you have plenty of time, a little walking could take you to some other eateries as well. If spice is not a problem, you could be enjoying some of Kelantan's exotic cuisines, such as Haji Ismail Sumatra Restaurant. and Meena Curry House, and for a very reasonable price. The roti prata is quite different from those in Singapore and is available at Mars Cafe. If you enjoy Chinese food, there is a hawker center approx. 10 min. walk from the hotel. You could easily walk to nearby museums and attractions, as well as the handicraft center (shopping for souvenirs) from this hotel. The lobby staff (including the doormen/doorwomen) were courteous and helpful. If you need to go anywhere, they could assist you with a taxi. The hotel laundry service is excellent with a superb turnaround time (i.e. they deliver by the promised day and time). I enjoyed my stay here and I think you would too.

Table lamp and lamp shade were dusty. Room smell is unpleasant. The food for sahur is limited and no variety. The towels were torn and greyish color. Lamp stand is unavailable thus the room was not that bright begin with. The price was not reasonable with the service. But the staff especially the parking staff was very friendly and helpful.

Dissappointed

I booked seaview room as mentioned in the description, but what I have been given was cityview room. The most dissappointed for me was I have to smell smoke along the way to my room, hence i got flu caused of that.

Bored for 2 nights stay, can’t watch tv.

Location and convenience are the best. Unfortunately the TV channels were undergoing maintenance that made me without TV for 2 nights. Please get it done ASAP.

Better room given this time comparing to the previous stay. However the TV channels are still having bad reception. Stayed 2 nights without basic entertainment. The WiFi is terrible too.

The location is great. Ample parking space if you are driving. The breakfast was a set meal but it's delicious. However the room is quite old & I needed to push or pull hard to close the door. The TV channels were terrible & not tuned properly.

The room especially the bathroom need to be properly cleaned. Mold and mildew inside the bathroom is a big set off.

Pool was not so great. Not quite like the pictures.

Service is great, people at the reception helped me when I locked myself out of the room. Room needs some updating, particularly the bathroom. Overall a fantastic stay.

good environment for party&meeting

Good thing: 1. large room for couple 2. beautiful lobby&lift. seems that lobby and lift was recently renovated. bad things 1. room is not well maintained. some of parts are run down. 2. kettle in my room was too dirty to use. 3. bathtub plug is missing, so i couldn't take a bath. overall, i think this hotel is good for gala party or meeting, but i don't recommend my friends to stay this hotel.

Good hotel in a small town

Nice location as everywhere is accessable through e-hailing (Grab) within the small town. There is a fastfood (KFC) in front of the hotel. Room was clean but the design is slightly dated, hotel staff was friendly, it will be good to have hand towels in on-suite and it has a full length tub.

Friendly and helpful staff though hotel is pretty old and rundown.

Short trip in KB

The bedsheet and pillow cases had unpleasant smell and tiny blood stain. Made me wonder if the housekeeper really changed them after the previous occupants. Tv reception was really bad.

Horrible stay. Unpleasant smell in the room and toilet. Mouldy at the corner of the carpet and will not recommend. Ended up changing to another hotel nearby the second night.

Nice and enjoyable stay...

Superb, hotel is centrally located. It was a pleasure staying in this hotel. Everything was great. The room is spacious, clean and reasonable comfortable. The staff are polite, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. Looking forward to staying at this very hotel again for my next trip to Kota Bharu.

Upon arrival I went to the reception desk and requested to check in. I had arrived early 10:30am and asked if it was possible to check if there was a room available.the very rude lady on the desks response was check in is 2pm. So I said are you telling me without checking that every room is occupied and no guests have checked out yet and will not until 12:00? And she said “yes”. So I went for a strol for 1 hour and returned and spoke with another of the reception team and he told me that there was and had been rooms available all morning as long as I didn’t mind twin beds. As I was on a solo business trip I wasn’t bothered and much to his femal colleges anger I was in my room at 11:15. Apart from the lasting first impression ery nice hotel, great rooms and good service all round!

Nice hotel and centrally located

The hotel was nice, room spacious and wifi was generally fast. It was centrally located so you could walk to everywhere nearby. My only complaint was that there was not enough electrical sockets in the room i.e. bedside but other than that its great.

Strategic location, good food, best services. Recommended for biz and family trip.

Overall nice experience.

Overall stay was ok. The A/C was cold (which is good) that the floor near the entrance and inside the bathroom were icy cold. I advise guests to bring their own indoor slipper or the hotel may consider providing indoor slippers in the room. The TV was subpar since the signal for all channels was mediocre that they had lots of noises (you know, the grainy thingy). There was no Astro and because of the TV condition, we didn't watch TV at all.

Just enough

Space is huge. Other than that not so impress. I planned to swim, but the pool seemed run down. Hotel.com should provide receipt at the counter, easier for guest to make claim in future.

Requested for riverview room but they staff did not take the instruction properly and we were given this one room facing the main road. I have previously mentioned about the riverview room in my special request items during the booking.

Room smelly carpet dirty

Location very good near town. But room conditions not so good.

Despite hanging the "Please Make Up Room" at the door, room was not made up. Later we learned that room was made up every 2 days. Somehow the towels became smelly after 1 use; unusual but probably damp to start with. Requested to change towels but was told hotel run out of towels; laundry hasn't delivered clean towels - unacceptable excuse. Proper planning should be done. If due to Hari Raya holidays, Raya didn't just happen this year and the hotel has been in business for many2 years. Room service food was not nice yet pricy. Spaghetti bolognese was dry, like fried minced meat dumped on top of boiled spaghetti!

Dissapointed.. late check In around 8pm

I and My family come along from Kuala Lumpur and eant to check in around 2pm , but room not available.. I come again around 6pm, room still not avalaible.. Then finally around 8pm, I can get the room. There is no apologize word from the staff. I ask, there is discount or any breakfast for appologize from hotel to customer.. I suffer about 6 hour don't know where to go.
