The reception staff were extremely professional. A lovely room!

I bought a package including a suite and a spa visit. At check-in they said I had to call a number to reserve my spa time, but I called many times to reserve the spa time and a massage but could not get a reservation. Consequently I never got to use the spa package that was part of what I paid for.

Lovely hotel. Staff was very accomodating and nice. Ubfortunately there wasnt enough staff. Apparently they laid off many staff shortly before we arrived.

Great staff; very noisy location. Had to request a different room after the first night of our stay. Our request was accommodated. Enjoyed the spa facilities.

Our favorite part of the hotel was the Spa. It was excellent. The breakfast buffet was also excellent.

The hotel is good. Very nice accommodation. Service is very good. And the staff at reception is amazing. Everything would have been perfect had one of my shirts (only had two shirts for a two day trip) that I forgot in the first room I slept in had not been stolen. Long story short, I had to change rooms on the first night bcs A/C had a problem. While moving rooms, I forgot to repack one of my shirts and I left it hanging in the closet of the first room. I told them about it the next day, they looked for it and it was nowhere to be found. All I got was: are you sure you left it there? (there are three places where my shirt could be: luggage, closet or on me!!!😂, it was not in the luggage nor on me). A visibly disturbed staff replied: “sorry for the inconvenience”! It was sad and hilarious😂. They get A for effort in trying to find it. An F for not having a response protocol when a shirt is stolen in their hotel.

Lovely hotel, spacious rooms and the staff could not be any nicer and accommodating.

Hotel and staff is welcoming. The hotel is clean, new and spacious. The only thing that we did encounter was that the restaurant only opens during the weekends and holidays. This might be since we were there off season, but this is something to ask if you are booking.

Great location, newly renovated. This is our 3 rd stay and it never disappoints.

Great location and ssrvice

5* Service

Some small accidents during the stay but the staff fixed it and compensated us with 7*. Old man (head of restaurant) in restaurant was to proud to come to our table after complaining on a raw (medium ordered) piece of meat. Except from him we had the best stay you could imagine. So so so friendly staff and nice rooms!

Pictures not correct

The pictures do not respond with the real room. I always search for a bath tub and on the pictures it shows a bath tub and in the information about the room too. But they gave me a room without bath tub and said that if I want to have a bath tub I need to pay 160 euro per night extra.

No free spa access or parking, breakfast was boring

Excelent Hotel, renewed, great staff. Excellent Bar, quality food and very well located. All Thumbs up. Has a shuttle to the slopes through Funicamp.

I didnt receive any VIP treatment. We are talking about a 4.4 stars hotel but the single beds are the smallest ones i have ever seen in my life, i almost fall and had to sleep in one single position. The cleaning staff opened our room door around 5 times to ask for the cleaning even though it was obvious that we were sleeping. Wifi was not good. Staff at the restaurant kind of rude.

Service the newly renovated properly is fabulous. Another wonderful stay and the staff were amazing.

Looks good but lots of extra costs

Hotel reception looks and smells amazing and the room had been recently refurbished too. However, I'd booked a twin as I was travelling with my Dad but was given a double, despite my booking stating twin. They had no twin rooms left so had to just make up the 2 mattresses into single beds - not ideal! We were then told that breakfast would be 18E each and to use the spa would be 25E!!! This wasn't clear on hotels.com or their own website

Memorable stay with excellent service!

Wonderful stay experience and ideal location for exploring Andorra La Ville. Service was wonderful both at the front desk and bell desk and even the garage attendant was super friendly and helpful! Room on 6th floor (top) is very well appointed and comfortable. Some may find it dated but in some way it’s very classy and it’s clean. Only catch if if you’re taller than 1.7M tall may want to avoid the top floor rooms as toilet ceiling is slanted and may be uncomfortable in the toilet and shower.

Easy check-in. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Was a great experience! Close to everything. Would definitely recommend!

Mountain Comfort

Good location and staff very nice.

Service was excellent, from the prompt bell service, the front desk that not only provided a free upgrade to a suite (two couples in adjoining rooms) to the restaurant staff that chilled our store bought champagne and later delivered it to our room in an ice bucket with glases no charge.

One of the Best

It was amazing. Staff was most helpful in every way. Elegant furnishings, spacious room beautifully designed bath, and room service was wonderful. If you are in this area (and it is beautiful everywhere) this hotel would get our vote every time

Andorra not for everyone. Dull. Nothing to do except stare up at the looming Pyrenees and count the hours to your departure.

Good liocation, staff was helpful. Room was nice but had a strange unpleasant smell.

The hotel in convenient to the heard of the city. We did have some issues with noice from neighbors, the hotel moved us to another room the next morning. The hotel is a little dated. Would not consider this a 5 Star.

In the Centre of the City...

Forget driving here, take the shuttle from BCN airport and save at least 20 Euro/day parking...NO free parking here...Beautiful lobby and the staff at the reception is patient and kind. The B+B is a good option lovely breakfast room and there is a great variety of food for everyone;even a good bubbly cava... The breakfast staff seems to be a bit bored...one in particular with click/clack shoes... Houseeping is very efficient, kind and friendly. The spa was excellent, super clean, great pool. Take advantage of a midweek spa special, gives you free access to the spa area (2 hrs). Otherwise it's 20- 25 Euro each entry. The room was super comfy (had to upgrade) with seating area, but a bit tired in terms of bathroom arrangement and quality. Overall a 3.5 for accommodation and 4 to 4.5 for the rest! Have a great trip!

Loved this hotel

We stayed here following our flight from the U.S. and the 2 1/2 hour drive from Barcelona. The hotel and our room were exactly what we needed. A classy hotel with good comfort and service. Loved the open atrium and rich appointments. We both felt that this was the perfect start to our European vacation.

good hotel in central location.

check in was very good and profesional, we needed 2 baby cribs which was delivered very quickly to the room. hotel lobby elegant although in an old fashioned way. parking in hotel good and recommended to avoid hazzle with parking outside in public places. breakfast i found relatively expensive for the quiality delivered. room condition in general was fine, but nothing spectacular in any way. we tried to have dinner in the downstairs restaurant the second night and was rather rudely pointed out to us that we could not sit in the dining area but could get a seat in the coffee shop part of the restaurant. this desite there was available tables, we are a family with 2 small children, and i guess they did not want children in the restaurant. after sitting in the coffee shop for 10 minutes waiting to place an order it became evident for us that we actually were not at all welcome in the restaurant so we left to order room service instead and the quality of that was frankly very poor.

Great central but quiet location, high standard of appearance, service and amenities – and caters for cigar smokers like me. Gin Club was a nice touch. Will be back there again for our annual Andorra sojourn.

Relaxing Stay

After having my bag and passport stolen in Barcelona, I needed a relaxing weekend to forget about troubles. Checking into the Hotel Plaza was the right move. The staff was sympathetic to my needs a very nice to my friend and I. We had a wonderful massage in the onsite spa; and a few hours in the spa after the treatment. We enjoyed happy hour in the cafe/bar. The whole city of Andorra la Vella met my need for a relaxing stay with a people much more trustworthy then those I had left in Spain.

Heating Issue

Room heater could not warm the room beyond 67 degrees.

Great Staff at Hotel Plaza

This is a lovely hotel with a very attentive staff and good food. Anything that I asked for they got. Anything I needed, they directed me so I could find it. I have good memories from this hotel and would stay there again. There are a few items that needed attention in the rooms. The pants presser amenity didn't work, one of the lamp cords was very worn and when we went to remove a plug so we could use the outlet, the outlet nearly came out of the wall. All of these are minor fixes and we were there in the slow season. Despite this, we were happy with our stay.

One night in Andorra

Not really a 5* hotel in my view. Bed hard, only powdered milk for making tea/coffee, no 'free' bottle(s) of water. Breakfast selection good.

Came for the gastronomique restaurant now closed

The hopeful Michelin chef gas gone BUT the wines he got still remain! Some spectacular bargains at the top end of the wine list. I drank a 2001 alta Rioja 904 for under 50 euros. This is cheaper than I could have cellared it. The food was excellent, service superb ( at least 6 waiters ) but all the special touches like real flowers, petit fours gone but well worth a visit. The restaurant was nearly full so good luck to the new approach. I will visit annually as before.

what a lovely hotel. Very convenient for getting around the town. Hotel really is excellent. Food at breakfast superb with a lot of choice. Really liked the additional extras like slippers and robes - a real touch of class. Will certainly book this hotel again on my next visit to Andorra.

Excellent hotel located centrally in Andorra.

Booked this hotel as room rates were very good. Construction work taking place opposite hence cheap rates. Generally very good. Breakfast expensive but an excellent choice just avoid the cold bacon and eggs.

good hotel. not great although it was over the holidays. Flor and the bell man were exceptional otherwise the staff were so-so. one was downright rude. not what one would expect for the price.

Fantastic Service

We decided on a short break to Andorra as having been to Pas De La Casa many times in ski season, we thought we'd like to try a different holiday there. And we were not disappointed. We couldn't have asked for better service. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was worth every penny! Spa was a real treat and the perfect way to spend a rainy evening. Room was very spacious and comfortable with everything we needed, and the location was spot on - within minutes walk of the shops and restaurants. Would totally recommend this hotel to anybody considering a stay in Andorra La Vella and would most certainly stay here again.

Beautiful Hotel!

Great central location at the edge of Andorra la Vella and Escaldes-Engordany (basically one city). Just a few blocks from the bus station. All the staff spoke English; the front desk very well, and they were eager to help with directions and ideas of things to see. 5 star hotel with 3 star prices!

City centre hotel - very comfortable.

Hotel good, staff helpful and friendly. Good value for money, coffee shop good for breakfast and snacks. Hotel restaurant not so good. Service hit and miss and food quality and choice pretty poor. Room well appointed, Internet access good. Would probably have chosen hotel outside of capital city had we known area better. Large seating area in reception but no atmosphere or obvious bar. Parking is in adjacent underground car park with direct lift access to hotel and large car park spaces, but is charged for.

Good value, extras pricey

I found it inexpensive for a four-star hotel (90€/night). But it's 25€ more every time you enter the spa. Also, the hotel restaurant is expensive. Dinner for two will easily set you back 120€+. The food is quality, real gourmet. So your satisfaction will depend on your budget. The room was smallish but comfy, good A/C.

Excellent Staff

My family and I were impressed with the hotel. It has a very nice lobby. The restaurant was pricey, but I guess it's to be expected from a 5-star hotel. I thought the parking fee was unnecessary. The hotel staff were very friendly and very accommodating. We will return to this establishment.

Good for family stay . Adjacent to shopping areas.

Recent stay in early August 2012. Good underground parking in next door block. A bit dark and dreary inside , never come across acre after acre of dark laminate flooring, it's everywhere, in the rooms, the common areas, the hallways. It's more like a 3 star tarted up to be like a 5 star but I think it misses the point . Over all a reasonably pleasant stay .

gastronomique delight

good location with good parking around which is cheaper than the hotel car parking. The jewel in this hotels crown is the gastronomique restaurant. The tasting menu was £50 and the quality up to 1 star michelin, great ambience and really smart restaurant on the 1st floor. the breakfasts are a bit special as well.

Smoking indoors

Hotel Plaza in Andorra la Vella is a nice hotel. It says 5 stars, but I would rate it as 3 stars. Still it is great for a 3 star hotel. The rooms are clean, warm and comfortable. In Andorra they still smoke inside, so I must warn that you might get a room that stinks of cigarette smoke. The hotel bar is a foggy place. Avoid it if you can. Andorra la Vella is super nice if you like shopping. Very commercial. Looks and feels like a big shopping mall.

An alright experience

The Plaza is a nice hotel but not as advertised 5 stars. The gym and spa were closed on Sunday afternoon (what's the point in that for people who spend a weekend there?), also it costs € 20 per person, the breakfast wasn't too amazing, only one English channel on TV. Not that one would be watching a lot of TV when on holidays but I would have expected more from an alleged 5 star hotel. Parking with € 20,- per night a total rip off! The staff were ok but not overly friendly. The location is convenient. It is an ok hotel, not as good as advertised though and overall rather expensive for what it is.

It can be done much better.

Good check in, ok room, but consider the breakfast as scam. There was nothing hot at the buffet, and we were informed that we could order from a menu card, with mostly sandwich. First when i asked if they could make something else, like bacon, eggs and other stuff, it came up. I asked for sofrboiled eggs, that needed to boiled for 6 minutes. But they onky got 2-3 minutes and was raw inside. Tge becan looked liked something that had been heated under hot water and not fried. And for that they want 24 euro,and no discount for badly served food. Dont do that. Go somewhere else. We also went to the spa. I like spa, to relax, but there was a group of 6 spanish women that was shouting for 1 hour, and had no respect for others and the staff said nothing. And watch out for the floor. It can be slippery. The 1 hour we were there, we saw 2 felt.

Las instalaciones son impresionantes, estuvimos en la suite familiar, superamplia tanto la habitación como el cuarto de baño, muy completos. En cuánto a limpieza no la he puntuado muy positiva porque debajo de la cama encontramos envoltorios y cajas vacías de juguetes, y por el suelo de la habitación pequeños cristales. Aparte de eso, todo perfecto con excepción del spa, viajamos con dos niñas de 3 y 8 años, la pequeña no podía entrar por edad y con la mayor no pudimos porque el horario infantil es muy limitado y no teníamos reserva previa. Teníamos solamente alojamiento pero desayunamos un día, el buffet es bastante correcto pero desproporcionado para lo que cuesta. También cenamos un día, todo bastante correcto pero igual que el desayuno algo caro. Resaltar la simpatía y disposición del botones.

Fué una gran experiencia. Desde la llegada hasta la salida. Las habitaciones insonorizadas, el servicio impecable, el aparcacoches, la zona de Spa,... todo genial

Ubicacion perfecta, el servicio de aparcamiento no estaba en su lugar, por lo que no dejé el vehículo en el aparcamiento, después me buscar aparcamiento exterior me solicitaron ir a buscar el vehículo para que me aparcaran el vehículo. La temperatura del agua de la ducha era relativamente tibia, si te gusta darte una ducha caliente en este hotel no lo conseguirás. El servicio de bar, lento por falta de personal. Muy amables en la recepción y a la salida, detalle de salida para acompañar el viaje. Ofrecen uso de SPA del cual sería ideal tener la información previa para poder llevar ropa de baño.

Magnifique hôtel avec restaurant, SPA, et chambre très spacieuse et équipée. Personnel multilingue accueillant et protection Covid assurée. Mais : Bruit d’écoulement d’eaux nocturnes et clients bruyants et fumeurs en chambre très gênants.

Die Renovation gelungen aber der Service sehr schlecht. Doppelzimmer sehr klein und mit schlechtem ausblick weil im city center gelegen. Nicht zu empfehlen wenn Sie Ski fahren moechten, nur fuer einen city trip zu empfehlen..

Ha sido una estancia confortable, el personal del hotel muy agradable, amables muy atentos con todas las necesidades. El Spa del hotel es fántastico unas personas super agradables, atentas y muy profesionales hemos salido del hotel y del spa super satisfechos de todo.
