Great location, walkable to shops, restaurants and Taipei 101.Nice hotel with a huge lobby area. Rooms are a fair size, clean and have everything you would need. We stayed here for a couple days following a cruise. Would definitely stay again.

A very basic hotel, the only great thing about it is location. The worst Hyatt Regency I've stayed in. On par with Hampton Inn or a Courtyard. A total ripoff for $338/night

Beautiful stay

Such an incredible experience. Staff was EXCELLENT. They took VERY good care of us. Including helping us find a local emergency room for some stitches my Mom had to get. She fell at a market and they really helped us so much! It’s frightening when you don’t speak the local language but they made everything a wonderful easy experience. I’m touched by how wonderful these people are. When you include how absolutely gorgeous this hotel is, it’s a winning decision to stay here. Don’t hesitate. They will take good care of you! The view of the 101 is STUNNING! And the food and shopping in the basement of the 101 made it a PERFECT place to stay when visiting Taipei!!! I cannot recommend this wonderful place enough!!!

Bathroom is dark, no concierge after 9pm.

Everything was amazing from the breakfast to the afternoon tea was a great touch ! Plus in walking distance from Taipei 101 !

I had booked a room with two beds and you didn't have a bed, thus made the couch into a bed, which is not very comfortable. My son didnt like sleeping on that bed.

Just an amazingly beautiful property and I can recommend it wholeheartedly. Great staff and very attentive to all guests and super friendly.

The facility has been updated since my last visit more than 10 years ago. However, the caulking in the bathroom continues to have molds. The overall feel for me during my stay is that this is a dated hotel with inadequate upgrades to reflect what a flagship hotel should be like. I would consider still staying at this hotel during my next visit but would not keep my expectation too high.

A Grand Hyatt can not offer a room where the hight to the celling is only 2 m, we will never stay at a Hyatt again

The hotel was quite near a number of attractions I wanted to visit. Many attractions were within an easy walk.

This is a first-class hotel with very good amenities and excellent friendly staff.

We had a great stay at the Grand Hyatt - the rooms were very spacious and the fitness amenities were above par compared to any other business hotel I’ve stayed in anywhere around the world. Staff were exceedingly friendly and the location couldn’t have been more convenient to get to anywhere around the city.

Superb customer service. Cleanliness above and beyond. Exceptional in room toiletries. Lotion was the best I have experienced in any hotel chain!! Grand Hyatt is definitely a 5 STAR HOTEL if not more! Good choices could not have been better!

Always a pleasure to stay at Grand Hyatt Taipei. The gym is superb and well taken cared of. Shopping and dining is just across the street. Lastly, I can enjoy peace and quiet.

FRIENDLY FRONT DESK STAFFS (SEPCAILLY FRONT DESK MANAGER Eleza Yang) were very helpful and efficient. Definetely would come back here!

The air condition in the room was bad. I smelled of cigarette from bathroom and no air circulation available since all the windows were locked.

Good location

I live in the suburbs of Taipei, and wanted a stay-cation. This was exactly what I needed. The spa is amazing, with a steamroom, hot tubs and sauna. I spent a delicious afternoon getting a 90 minute massage followed by luxuriating in the spa. Taipei 101 is across the street, and the MRT is super close.

First room was messy and stained, they changed the room but for a 5 star hotel expected more.

Let’s start with the negative. 1st. Room was ready late. 2nd. There was a very sticky coffee stain on the shelf next to the bed. 3rd. Laundry service advertised to be returned by noon was not returned till 6pm. 4th. Limited lounge (club) options. And short hours. With all these negatives. One factor that earns the property from me is the “SERVICE” from the team there. Specifically Owen at the front desk. He didn’t have to. But he went over and above to make sure any and all issues are resolved! Even before we ask for any resolutions. Besides him, every staff proves to be attentive and proactive to ensure guest have an enjoyable time! If without the above issues. I would make this property my first choice every trip!

Very nice hotel, clean, polite staff, etc. A great deal for your money. I would stay here again.

Credit card problems

Lovely hotel. Annoying check-in because the card reader could not use my physical credit card. I could not charge anything to the room and every server told me that if I just charged it to the room it would be 15% cheaper. I was being disadvantaged because the hotel system and my card did not talk to each other and I was reminded of it several times daily!!

The location of the hotel to MRT and shopping is very strategic. Overall we had a pleasant stay at Grand Hyatt and good rest too. Great that hotel do provides kids items too very detailed.

Location is super, has sky bridge connecting Hyatt, 101 building and Breeze. Very friendly staff, smooth check in. We arrived early in the morning, left luggages with hotel, when we came back in the afternoon, luggage is in our room.
