After some initial problems at check-in, we had a very pleasant stay, Room was excellent and was checked in the evening. Breakfast buffet was well stocked with dishes for all tastes.
Excellent property! Friendly staff. Clean room. Very close to the city center.
Amazing views, staff, rooms and food! Highly recommend to anyone staying in Taormina. Easy walk into town and all the shops and dining but close enough to beaches. Pool views are incredible. Very accommodating for food allergies.
Property location
Great hotel
Wonderful staff with warm welcome. Property is well designed with good thought into interior design colours. 10 minute walk from Taormina. Lovely views over the sea. Pool has great outlook. Terrace room was decent size. It is on the hillside. Food good. Drinks pricey (but in line with 5* hotels there. Think central London prices. Ditto food). Terrace bar not open. Overall, really liked the hotel and staff, especially at front desk, were top notch. Recommended.
An excellent overall resort experience
An excellent overall resort experience (not just a place to stay). The food in both restaurants was amazing. The service was phenomenal, the room was super clean, newly renovated with amazing views. There is a 15 mins walk to the town ares and the beach is difficult to get to (I think the same for most resorts in the area). The hotel has a shuttle but it runs once every hour with limited space.
The property is spectacular, amazing location, love the layout, views and amenities. All the staff are exceptional, especially Virginia, Fabio, Luigi and the driver. Few areas you might want to look at, placing guests into the rooms promised in their booking, I indicated the trip was a birthday trip and thought there would be some kind of special greeting, food or beverage, I can’t articulate it but it didn’t feel 5 star, and lastly the exercise room is substandard, broken equipment, lack of equipment and is a shame because it’s a mismatch to the rest of the property and with such a beautiful view.
Stunning
It was perfect!!! Amazing location, gorgeous property and fantastic breakfast.
Fantastic hotel great service and wonderful food
What an amazing place. Could not recommend the hotel anymore. Amazing friendly staff
Beautiful property in a great location. What made it exceptional was the attentive staff. Bartenders Carlo and Christian were especially friendly and engaging with our family and went the extra mile to make our visit special.
If you want a relaxing holiday avoid this hotel. The hotel is going through major renovations which is not highlighted on their website. Most of the rooms near ours were being renovated and there was major work being done on the outside areas. It’s like being in a construction site! The hotel should have been closed and the job done properly. Check if work is still underway before you book.
Simply Amazing!
Magnificent! Everything from the moment of arrival was beyond our expectations. The staff was incredible especially Virginia with Guest Services, Marco the bar manager and Andreas at the front desk. A shuttle into town and back to the hotel was great as its quite a treacherous dangerous walk to town. But the luxury Mercedes van goes back and forth on the hour up to 10pm. The room was spectacular. We were in 514. Gorgeous view and stunning bathroom! Very quiet. Newly renovated. Crisp clean and beautiful. I will add photos of our view and room but this app is not letting me add them but i will try again as they are truly spectacular
Excelente
The hotel is very pretty and well kept in the common areas but not in the rooms. They need to do serious plumbing work in the bathrooms, since you cant keep a water temperature steady, you either burn or get a cold shower. Also the shower space is very small and slippery. This was very annoying!! Also our air conditioning clogged up and water started pouring from the ceiling, thankfully the problem was resolved and air condition worked well after that. For being a 5 star hotel, they have terrible pillows and mattress. We stayed 3 nights and never changed our sheets. Also if you need a hair dryer don’t count on it, it is very bad quality and barely blows hot air, leaving your hair with a lot of frizz. They could upgrade the hair dryers!! Staff was not very helpful in the front desk!! Restaurant was very good and nice staff.
Fantastic property and excellent staff.
We had the perfect holiday at this hotel. Excellent hotel and facilities. Excellent staff. Free Shuttle service to take you into town and back. Best holiday we’ve had.
We had such a wonderful stay here. The staff was incredibly accommodating, friendly and helpful. Everything was taken care of for us so we could completely unplug and enjoy our holiday. We will certainly be back.
Fantastic property! Old world elegance and excellent service. Parking available. Need to take transportation to shopping and restaurants. Spectacular view and excellent food!
Great dramatic views from Taormina! Beautiful 5 star hotel, friendly staff and fabulous food and cocktails. Live Piano music just makes it fantastic! Free shuttle to city ! Awesome pool!
Instantly one of our favorite hotels we have ever been in. Staff and the room were amazing, view is incredible. We thoroughly e joyed our time there especially by the pool and eating overlooking the sea. Not a far walk to town but a bit uphill. Poolside service and restaurant could have been better though.
This property was beautiful and clean. The breakfast in the morning was amazing with incredible views. The restaurant on the property was delicious. The staff was friendly and they went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The location was perfect with a short walk to the main town and to the bus terminal. The pool and grounds of the hotel were stunning. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Taormina. I hope to come back one day.
Best stay
Excellent very relaxing
Gracious hotel with views and stunning terrace for dining and drinks. Well-trained staff responded quickly to every question and request. Breakfast was generous and delicious with plenty of fresh options. Rooms are simply appointed but comfortable and ours had beautiful balcony to enjoy the view and the ocean breeze. Walking to town might be challenging for some, but our 60 crew enjoyed the exercise. Hotel provides free parking and shuttle to downtown and Greek theater.
Clearly a special property but, in overall terms, the level of service does not match what I would expect from a 5* hotel and some money needs to be sent on room maintenance. Shuttle service is important given the hotel's location between the beach and the town and we were let down disappointingly by the shuttle after over 5 hours on the streets and in the heat of Taormina.
Overall this was a very good property. It’s definitely worth the extra money to book the room with a balcony over looking the water. The view is beautiful. Breakfast is very good including the fact that you eat on the terrace over looking the water. The hotel is clean and very quiet. You can walk anywhere from this location which was great. That being said, I didn’t give it a 5out of 5 because it is a bit tired. The wifi/internet is terrible. The signal continued to drop in and out. Every time we opened the patio door, the AC would turn off (fine from an eco friendly point of view) but once the door was closed and locked again, we had to jiggle the door for awhile to get it in just the right place to get the AC back on. Had maintenance look at it twice - no fix. Also had issues with consistent hot water in the shower. That being said, preferred to look at the views than the internet and if you have short showers, wasn’t a problem with the water.
Nice hotel for a romantic getaway
It is a nice property with a good view of the sea. Air conditioning in the room was not the best, could not get the room to fully cool. One of the bottles of water in the refrigerator was already opened by a previous guest. Staff is very attentive. Only knock is the restaurant, very overpriced for the value received. As someone with 30+ associated with the service industry I’d rate the menu as pretentious. Breakfast on the other hand was perfect.
Spacious hotel, good condition rooms, large terrace. Good food.
Facilities were very good. Regular shuttle bus into Taormina avoiding steep hill climb.
bed bugs in paradise
the hotel is lovely..the views ,from the rooms the pool and dining terrace are to die for. The location in relation to the town was perfect ..the hotel shuttle was reliable and always available.Breakfast on the terrace was excellent However we noticed that despite paying for a deluxe room our balcony was smaller.than other deluxe rooms The room did not have a coffee maker or iron..(despite paying 400 euros/night ).We were told that only the suites had coffee makers. Big negative were the terrible bedbugs that devoured my husband
The staff are very helpful in a beautiful surroundings, we will return.
We had a nice stay overall but the hotel was not as luxurious as expected. The decor is in need of modernisation, the bathroom was too small for the room and the service was sometimes poor. The hotel is in a good location, the breakfast buffet was very nice and the pool area has a lovely view.
Location was excellent. Walking distance into town, though too many steps. Very friendly & helpful staff. Would stay there again.
Nice view, very beautiful area and building A lot of wasps at the breakfast, they were annoying and disturbed.
My special requests had been acknowledged. The staff were courteous and always pleasant. The setting is wonderful. Being so near the gem of the public gardens is a bonus. The hotel is a quiet and delightful oasis in beautiful Taormina. Understated and unpretentious luxury.
Fantastic setting and lovely view for breakfast outside. Very nice pool and short walk to town. Breakfast was plentiful but could have more daily variety. Some of the gym equipment was broken and the queen bed was two single beds not a queen. Staff were generally very helpful and free parking was an advantage. Drinks were as expected for a hotel of that type. It was nice to have decent piano music in the evenings.
Great view from the balcony, helpful staff, spacious room, very clean.
Nice hotel but not perfect
Lovely hotel, great location. Reception staff not very responsive to concerns over renovation noise very early in the morning which is our main criticism, along with a very poor pool side menu. Breakfast was good and the staff by pool and at breakfast were great. Not really 5 star rooms but clean and fine.
Fabulous Taormina Hotel
Fabulous hotel. We stayed in a deluxe room with balcony and sea view. The room was well equipped and clean. The view was amazing. The staff kind and helpful. Free parking and hourly shuttle were bonus points. Totally worth the money. I highly recommend.
Food was great. Shuttle prompt and courtious. English translation by bell hop marginal but got by. Views spectacular as qas location...quick walk to ancient greek theatre and gardens
Excellent hotel. Wonderful views from rooms with sea view. Polite helpful staff. Quiet location within walking distance of the town centre (up several flights of steps). Spacious car park for Taormina!
Comfortable stay
Good location, convenient with car parking. Great breakfast. Clean and comfortable room.
Perfect Hotel in Taormina
Great hotel overlooking the sea and just a short walk to the center of town. Staff was very friendly and attentive to needs. Would definitely recommend.
Great location to discover Taormina
Really nice hotel. Excellent breakfast with a beautiful view. Really nice pool and facilities to enjoy before discovering Taormina in the evening. Only a 15 minute walk to the town centre or courtesy buses every hour.
Not sure about 5 star rating
The hotel is pleasant, clean and the staff are good. The bar was almost never manned during the day so you often had to go to reception to be served. As you might expect the prices are very high e.g. €5 for a small bottle of coke. The views from the hotel are fantastic. Breakfast lovely and overall we enjoyed our stay.
Disappointing
Fab location but very very expensive for what it was. 30 Euro for 4 small beers, 10 Euro for a pre-packed toasted sandwich at the pool bar, grossly overpriced. Unfriendly staff, they come across as unhappy in their work. The hotel bar is dull and soulless and hardly anyone eating dinner there, absolutely no atmosphere. We would have happily returned to the bar after dinner but it was uninviting and the barman unwelcoming. Very disappointing stay having cost us a lot of money for our annual holiday. Bedrooms not facing the pool are dark and dingy, furniture dated. On the plus, Taormina is a fantastic city so pick yourself a more lively hotel and have a fabulous stay!
Wonderful experience! The head waiter Salvatore is fantastic!!!
Great views. Main areas could be a bit more comfortable
Amazing
Amazing option in Taormina
Quiet hotel with breath taking views
Visited the hotel with my fiancee in July , impressed with the sea view, room comfort and amenities. It was my girlfriend birthday and the reception lady managed to order a birthday cake for her which was a wonderful surprise. Thank you so much and we will re-visit.
This hotel and it's staff well exceeded our expectations. It is a beautiful hotel in a magnificent setting. We had balcony room with a water view. The room was spotless and the bedding was very comfortable. Our stay included breakfast and the buffet was delicious. This hotel did everything they could to make our stay memorable. I so want to go back.
A Beautiful Place
The hotel is nestled in a mountain and has an amazing view overlooking the water. The hotel is quite charming and has a wonderful deck to eat breakfast or dinner with the same amazing view
Lovely Grand Hotel. But, there are things a Grand Hotel will do for its guests and things they won’t. They will get you a bottle of sugared iced tea, but they won’t make fresh tea and pour it over ice for you, etc. too many examples to go through.
This was a classical luxurious hotel in a beautiful setting in Taormina. It was our honeymoon and we were greeted on arrival with a chilled bottle of fizz in the room. We’d booked a junior suite which was spacious and with everything you’d expect. The standard of housekeeping was excellent with a nightly turn down service and new towels etc. Breakfast is taken on the wonderful terrace and is of a very high standard, as expected for a 5* hotel with the staff being very attentive. The pool is well attended by the lifeguard and is a perfect location to relax and admire the fabulous view. All in all we had a wonderful time. The main gripe that we have is that the gym was poor. We booked this hotel for the facilities, including a gym but it had 3 cardio machines, all of which were broken. The air conditioning was ineffective which meant it was hard to use the room comfortably. Despite us raising this and other guests doing the same it seemed very low on their priority list. There was also a bizarre choice of music on the breakfast terrace, not sure who wanted to listen to Phil Collins live on repeat, Bonjovi, Chris Rhea, Celina Dion blasting out every morning. We thought the birds or something more local may have been more appropriate. The shuttle service to Taormina is offered hourly but this is very inflexible. There are only 8 seats in total so it’s easy to miss out. We felt they should have been able to put an additional trip on in the evening for dinner for example.
Nice view, excellent restaurant, very good breakfast, shuttle to the city, bed sheets and bath towels of high quality, kind service
Room service charge
Beautiful hotel and grounds but be prepared to pay additional 20 euros service charge for room service for a meal valued at 35 euros! Staff was most helpful and courteous. Difficult to get around with a car but thankfully the hotel has a free shuttle bus service to and from town.
Scenic hotel walking distance to Taormina
Lovely hotel, friendly helpful staff, walking distance to Taormina although be aware everything is up/down hills and there isn’t always a pavement. Dinner is quite a smart event and it is a more expensive chic dining experience (there was a tasting menu as well). I would have liked a free bottle of water in the room each day as most 5* hotels would supply one.
Very acceptable
A fantastic view from the pool area and breakfast terrace. The rooms are an acceptable size however an older styling. A very reasonable breakfast buffet. Easy access into town up the hill.
Great hotel. Has parking and a10 minute walk from the center of Taormina
Slice of heaven
Beautiful spot with magnificent views. The walk into town is no joke— wear some climbing shoes! Take breaks to catch your breath and admire the view. It’s worth it!
Perfect location, the best in Taormina
The hotel is in a great location, just 5-10 minutes walk into town, while benefiting from being perched right on the edge of the cliff overlooking Isabella. The rooms are very good, we were upgraded to a junior suite for our stay of two weeks (which I suggest is the minimum to explore) and it was very comfortable with a fabulous balcony. The hotel also gave us a complimentary room for our checkout day which was the smaller double room without a balcony - again very nice room maybe the bathroom was a little small, so if you're on a budget it would be fine and there's so much outdoor space to use at the hotel you wouldn't miss the balcony. The food was great, breakfast was comprehensive with fruit, cereal, cooked food, even cakes if you wanted, the service staff were attentive, polite and friendly. Having breakfast overlooking the sea in the sunshine was fantastic, they serve a great launch menu outdoors and again service was fab, The pool area was good, everything clean and there were enough sun beds for everyone, the attendant was really helpful moving beds for people. I imagine in July and August it may be busier. They don't do free water at the pool which I think is a shame. We took our own 1euro bottle rather than pay 6 euro at the hotel! Overall, highly recommend this hotel, I stay in hotels with work every week all over the world, this is one of the nicest.
Pleasant relaxing stay
Beautiful hotel. Staff, grounds, rooms are impeccable. One downside it is not close to the beach. Although there is a shuttle that brings you to the beach... it comes with a price tag of 18 euro per person for an umbrella. Another downside, if you are looking for a sandy beach, this place is not for you. What you do get are small rocks which make it uncomfortable to walk even with water shoes on.
Great Location
A fantastic location with great views and the staff were fine until check out. I had a late flight I asked for a courtesy room or place to store my luggage and to have a shower? 'Not possible' was the reply unless I paid. Not a five star answer so I started to think about the rest of the hotel. The rooms are adequate and kept very clean but they lack something. Maybe redecorating is the answer? They are not that big but all I require is a comfortable place to sleep and to freshen up. I won't recommend this hotel as five star as nothing should be too much for a customer. Eventually after a few confusing discussions a room was provided to freshen up in and my luggage was moved for me. Maybe it was a language issue but it left a bitter taste in my mouth and on that basis I won't return. There are plenty of choices in this location for similar prices.
Sicily
One of the most romantic places in the world. There's no other place like it
A lovely hotel in a charming Sicilian town
A wonderful hotel in a charming town. with incredible views of the sea, the hills. Located by the ancient town center with its historic buildings, great shops and restaurants. The hotel and it's surroundings couldn't be more delightful!
AMAZING HOTEL!!!
Fantastic experience. Highly recommend! Amazing service and great room with a great view!
Fantastic Atmosphere
Upon check in, they offered us much better room with a balcony and stunning sea view. We enjoyed the room so much we had our dinner and breakfast in our room! Shuttle bus is available frequently but you can also walk around the whole township as it is quite compact. Swimming pool looked really nice although we didn't get to use it. Highly recommended!
Wonderful hotel...great staff, beautiful view...close to town
Great hotel with amazing view
I was greeted by friendly staff, and the view from the room was spectacular. A great place to stay.
Great Hotel on the water
Really elegant hotel with a great attentive staff and terrific restaurant.
Love this hotel!
Stayed three nights and love it! Location is great, amazing views and walking distance to city center for restaurants and shopping. Shuttle to the beach is nice, pool is wonderful too. Food was great, breakfast buffet was one of the best and the spaghetti was one of the best we had in Italy! Make sure you get an ocean view, comes with terrace which is great! Will be back!
A perfect stay
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. My husband was in Taormina for a conference and I was there for fun. From the moment we checked in, we were greeted with such warmth and friendliness. The property is exquisite. The location is perfect. We were upgraded to a balcony room facing the water and it was absolutely perfect in every way. The staff was extremely courteous and consistently helpful in every way. The breakfast was outstanding. This will be our "go to" hotel for all future visits. I think that all hotels and service industries should take lessons from this excellent hotel's staff.
very elegant and at the same time charming
My stay was lovely. The staff is charming, helpful without being obsequious
Stunning views and friendly staff.
Great hotel with stunning views over the Aeonian Sea. There was a 5 minute shuttle bus in to the beautiful town of Tairmina or a 10 minute walk which we preferred, especially in the day when the park was open. The front desk staff were excellent and helped plan our days and made recommendations and reservations for some really excellent restaurants in the town.
4*+ than 5*L
small room for a 5* , but large terrace , no inroom tea/coffee facilty , basic breakfast ,comfy bed ,excellent staff, beach was closed but not mentioned on web site...more 4*+ than 5* ..
Cliff side beauty
Wonderful retreat to come back to after a day of touring Sicily. Beautiful views, delicious breakfast, gorgeous pool setting & a concert pianist in the evenings. Truly a magical stay. Close to dinning options and tourist sights. Attentive service and good maid service.
Very good hotel in an excellent location.
The Hotel is located a short walk from the town and all that it has to offer by way of bars and restaurants. The Hotel staff are very helpful especially when it comes to arranging tables at the better in town restaurants.
Hotel based on a busy road
When I booked this hotel I asked for a sea view if it was possible. When we got there we have been told that to upgrade our room would cost us 150 euro per night . We were really upset because the room they gave us was on top of the reception our window was facing the main road. The hotel was not busy and they could offer us a better room.
Hotel overlooking the sea
Outstanding hotel and very good value. Spectacular views and very friendly and competent staff
Fantastic hotel /Fantastic service
We have just returned from a 10 night stay at this wonderful hotel. From the moment of arrival, we were met by a welcoming reception staff who maintained their friendly and welcome approach throughout the holiday. The restaurant was great and wonderful service. Breakfast buffet was limited but good. Rooms very clean and maintained. Most impressive is the views from this hotel, the wonderful gardens to sit and have breakfast with lemon trees in sight. The Pool was very clean and Dario the Pool Manager was exceptional to keep us looked after throughout the stay. I would recommend this hotel very highly.
4 star hotel at 5 star price.
Views are beautiful. Pool is lovely. Rooms and Bathrooms are small. It is a 20 minute uphill climb to the center of town, although a shuttle is available that you must book in advance. Shuttle also available to the beach property which is OK, but not great. Breakfast is average but served on a beautiful terrace. Poor value proposition.
Good but not worth concession on location
Our stay was perfectly fine. Room was adequate, food great, staff warm and professional and pool wonderful. However, we didn't think it was up to the relais & chateaux standards and the location was a short walk out if town. Since it was a dark walk on narrow streets, we took cabs to dinner. There is a van, but we couldn't synch up to the schedule. We would stay at similar properties closer to town next time.
Nice but overpriced....and Wi-fi does not work
We were expecting this hotel to be the highlight of our week in Sicily....we stayed there for 3 nights. Excellent welcoming, taking care of the car, and info given about the shuttle, breakfast, wi-fi, etc. the room was nice, but for a 5 stars deluxe junior suite, was not that comfortable and convenient. No place to read except in the bed, no coffee maker in the room and most important of all: no wi-fi working in the room, and for that matter, nowhere else in the hotel..From staff' s own admission, they get a lot of complaints about that (!). Shuttle to town was convenient but not available between 12 and 4 in the afternoon. Special request for a coffee and orange juice at 7am as we were leaving early was not not granted (although it had been agreed to)...so overall, in spite of the staff trying hard, too many shortcomings to deserve top marks.
its not a 5 star hotel
no working internet, no hand or face towels, a 14" television! the cost cutting is beyond a joke
great views; elegant hotel
Very comfortable, great service and staff, views everywhere-but 10-15 minute uphill walk to town center. Nice pool but not heated. Great breakfast. Adequate gym.
great views in a beautiful hotel
Beautiful hotel with nice staff and amazing views. A bit out of town-15 minute walk uphill-but beautiful. Pool not heated but again very beautiful. Nice small gym. Very clean.
Very good!
The food, hotel, Service, room and location were excellent! No complaints.
Boutique Feeling Hotel in Ortygia, Siracusa
The hotel is located well along the water in the old town of Ortygia and location is very good to walk to the square, restaurants and through the old town. The concierge is nice but does a poor job of informing the guests of the area events. We were told we wouldn't need reservations on e evening for dinner and then found we were unable to get in to many restaurants. We found out online that there was a wine tasting in town and when we asked the concierge they mentioned they had no idea. This is a larger scale boutique hotel and has many lovely design points. The rooms are well appointed. Disappointingly, there isnt ample outdoor space to sit and enjoy the wonderful views the hotel position affords. The rooftop area is small in regards to the restaurant size itself, and is mainly used at breakfast but is not open during the day for general use. The other outdoor area, a solarium, is closed after Aug 31, which isnt clear why when this area of Sicily is very warm all the way through early November. While the locals may not consider it warm enough to be outside, most of the hotel tourists from Great Britain, Germany and the US are already in Fall weather and would love to have a place to be outside to relax, especially as stores close for a break in the afternoon. it feels like the hotel is not using its resources properly although it has great potential. The breakfast is a nice feature and the breakfast staff is very friendly and helpful.
Nice hotel, but a bit pricey for the facilities
My wife and I stayed for one night and found the hotel very comfortable. We had already spent a couple of nights at another hotel in Taormina, so we decided to have dinner in the hotel. While the dinner was very nice it was very quiet in the bar area and the resteraunt - I would suggest you check to see if they have many bookings before dining. The night we dined there was one table on mains when we were seated and another table arrived when we started our mains. My only complaint was that the wifi was not working for the whole stay and I heard another guest say the same when we were checking in. Outside of this, they did make a fuss over my birthday during our stay, which was very much appreciated.
Excellent service. Wonderful views. Room was junior suite excellent view etc. thought should have been exhaust in bathroom and also some other amenities for 5 star hotel. But all in all very nice. Would stay again
Fantastic for business and pleasure
From the very start of my stay, I was welcomed by efficient and friendly reception staff. The concierge helped me with my luggage. The hotel is lovely inside, the room (even my standard one) was roomy, peaceful and with good air conditioning, lighting, bathroom facilities and cupboard space. There was free WiFi all over the hotel. The food was delicious and well presented. Breakfast was splendid, and taken on a large patio area overlooking the ocean - gorgeous. The staff were so helpful and attentive I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to my friends.
beautiful hotel in a wonderful location
we spent a most relaxing week, attended by friendly and efficient staff. The position of the hotel was superb and we were very lucky to be upgraded to a room with a balcony overlooking the sea. The only criticism would be that the food and especially the drinks at the bar were so expensive and we would have liked to have frequented the bar more often but at 16 euros for a gin and tonic we mostly ate and drank in the town.
Quiet Gentile Elegance
This is a first class hotel. It is hard to fault any aspect.away from the bustle of the centre of town with excellent service, rooms, food and views. You won't do better!
Should be relaxing but isn't
I'm disappointed that a good group like Relais&Chateaux do not keep up the same standards everywhere. Every corner you turn round in this place has a cabinet infront of you, trying to sell you jewellery. You can't even get away from these in the bar - there's four in there. That sort of thing is usually common and off-putting in old fashioned - for the wrong reasons - hotel groups.
Outstanding
Very very good service. Very very good hospitality. Strongly recommended.
great holiday for couples
very comfortabel room which overlooked the sea. would definitely reccomend sea view room with balcony. the position was perfect, qiet yet only 10 minutes walk in to the town. excellent breakfast
Superb Hotel in Magical Location
The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful and offered suggestions for our excursions. The rooms and pool area were kept very clean and very attentive staff throughout the hotel. Experienced a very enjoyable and pleasant stay.
5 star hotel - 5 star service
From the time we arrived, untill the moment we left, the staff we absolutley brilliant. They went out of thier way to know our names, where we were from, and always greeted us as friends as wel las guests. Our room was very comfortable, and the house cleaning staff came twice a day to check if we needed anything. The food in the resteraunt was very good as you would expect from a Michelin star establishment. Breakfast is on the terrace, is buffet style and of the highest standard. My only concern was that the coffee in Sicily is not as good as the coffee in Rome or Florence. All the same I'd go back in a flash. I loved it. Check the internet on the amazing history of Taormina before you go, it will completely change the way you think about this island.
Balconies overlooking the Ionian Sea, beautiful pool, luxury all the way!
