Very nice, central, fantastic breakfast

Having stayed in the Grand Hotel Bohemia 10 years ago, we wanted to return to the hotel's excellent central location and 5 star luxury. It did not disappoint and was all we remembered it to be. Staff, service and cleanliness were all that we expected. As our visit was during Epiphany, the hotel was beautifully decorated with Christmas trees and lights. The breakfast buffet provides a wide selection of food on the al a carte breakfast menu was a treat. We would have no hesitation in staying here again.

Perfect location with excellent service from the front desk to room cleaning to breakfast staff. All welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We asked advice on a couple of tours at the front desk and they not only provided information but bked tickets for us and had these ready to pick up later the same day. The breakfast is fantastic with both full smorgasboard as well as a la carte meals all included in the price. Mini bar in room good. We purchased bottled water from local mini mart and used mini bar for that. Fresh towels and bed made up every day. Chocs on pillow on arrival and chocs in cute box for each guest on departure. Each room has individual control of own air-conditioning which is great as can control temp to what you want it to be. Bed comfy and can request different pillows if ones that are there are too soft. No noise from street even tho centre of the city. Slippers and bathrobes provided and my daughter wore the slippers all around the hotel and down to breakfast each morning. Bar fantastic. We would finish each evening at the bar with a drink to discuss the following days activities. 10 out of 10. Would definately stay there again. Superb.

Great hotel in a great location with good breakfast offering. Lost a mark as we found the barman a little abraisive & would rush off before we'd completed our orders.Other than that little blot on service it was a great stay.

Everything about this property was great, from the locatiom which offered an easy walk tobeverything to the staff who were extremely kind and patient. If I came to Prague again... I would definitely be rebooking with this hotel!

The property is beautiful and classy. It's in the heart of everything, and is walkable to all central sites. The wonderful Mozart Opera is held in this hotel.

4 wonderful days in Prague

We booked 3 nights in Prague. The hotel is very well positioned in the Old Town. From there we explored all the central Prague areas (Old Town, New Town, Lesser Town) on foot, not needing to use public transport. The room was comfortable and clean. It had a decent sized bathroom, safe, and minibar and plenty of storage. The decor was wonderful and although we didn't use the ballroom, it needs to be seen and admired. Breakfast was amazing and kept us going most of the day. We used the bar a couple of times which was peaceful and priced fairly. The hotel were very happy to store our luggage prior to check-in on arriving early and on our last day as we caught an evening flight home. No language barriers. Highly recommended.

Very nice hotel with great art decor . Staff genuinely friendly and helpful, one evening in the bar I had a woman ignore me as she was busy. Apart from that a great hotel to stay at with luxury, helpful staff and in an excellent location.

A beautiful old hotel in the old city near the Charles Bridge and the Estates Opera House. It has a mock Opera House itself in its basement where Mozart is performed!! We had a lovely time there.

Loved everything about this hotel!

Nice hotel, my only complaint was every time I asked for something I felt like I was getting hustled. For example asked for a can to be called to take me to the airport and they said it would cost 1100. Took an Uber and it cost under 600 including tip. This is just one example. A shame because the hotel is really nice, and in a great location! Breakfast staff were really nice!

Great place to stay in Prague

This hotel worked out well for our 4 night stay in Prague. We were able to walk from the main train station - 10 minutes. It’s in a great location, straddling the old city and new city. Room was not huge but was totally adequate. The more expensive hotel we stayed in in Budapest didn’t have a bathtub only a shower, we were happy to see this hotel had the tub. Breakfast was more than adequate but the staff didn’t make us aware until our 3rd day that hot breakfast entrees are cooked to order for free as are cappuccinos, etc. but overall that’s a minor issue and we’d be happy to return in the future. Make sure you check out the hidden ballroom!

Excellent stay at the grand Bohemia hotel

This hotel is old and charming. It is in a great location to walk to sites and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay here and there is a good chance we would stay again. We only had two minor complaints. One they did not have coffee in the rooms (there was a tea kettle and instant coffee which is not coffee we are going to drink). Two there was no iron or steam press in the room. They would deliver an iron if you called down for one - but it was a bit of a hassle needing to ask for one.

This is an excellent property. It's right in the heart of Old Town Prague. The front desk staff is superb - especially Adam. I would not hesitate to stay there again. The only negative is the typical shower in a deep bathtub found in older European hotels.

Great experience, nice to stay in a non corporate environment where the amenities are full sized. Love the fresh flowers and the fully fluffed pillows. Live music in the bar would be an ideal addition.

Fantastic location, really comfortable bed, added extras in bathroom, wonderful room breakfast buffet with a huge amount of choices. We loved our stay and would recommend this lovely hotel to anyone

Nothing unique, just walkable distance to the Old City.

It was nice,pleasant Staff. Breakfast same everyday except a few little things. Clean sheets and towels. The carpet in the room and corridor is definitely not clean as in 5 stars hotel. Would be nice if hotel can provide some toothpaste or toothbrush if someone will need it. Overall we had a good experience.

Our room was very small, but clean. The customer service was great. Great location; walkable and close to the main sightseeings.

Superb location. Within easy walking distance of Old Town Square, street cafes, shops etc. Very clean. Staff were excellent. Rooms were very comfortable. I would highly recommend it and would definitely stay there again.

One of the most charming hotels in one of the most charming cities I have been in. Quiet location in spite of being quite close to the main square; excellent breakfast, cheerful and helpful staff. All in all, a magical holiday.

Long weekend stay

It's a nice hotel centrally located, but also a little ways from the busy areas so it's quiet and comfortable. Old Town Square is just a five or ten minute walk away, depending on your speed. The breakfast was good with a lot of choices and some variety day to day and they'll even cook some items fresh if you ask. We really enjoyed our stay!

The Grand Hotel Bohemia is well situated for the Metro and Tram routes and is easy to get to from the airport. The Hotel has history to it and a certain charm and has a very nice atmosphere. the rooms are well appointed and the upper floor rooms have a decent view. The breakfast is very good with a wide selection and the restaurant looks great but we didn't use it.

The room was awesome. 7th floor and we had beautiful views of the city - churches, castle. The hotel was clean and the only thing that was a miss was the AC started leaking. No big issue. The breakfast was awesome. Location was excellent.

The ratings threw us over. They are in correct. The hotel is just an average hotel and the included breakfast is below average. The staff is courteous. However thr room and the bathrooms are very dated and below average.

My favorite hotel in Prague without a doubt, everything is so comfortable and the people are welcoming and friendly. Location is excellent as well so I highly recommend this hotel.

Very good location, courteous staff, adequate breakfast. On the lesser level, the room had satisfactory amenities but it was tightly small and on the back side of the hotel.

This hotel was a fantastic location to explore Prague, bars and restaurants located nearby, east to walk to the Charles bridge and other sight seeing spos. The hotel it's self was outstanding and all staff so very helpful and friendly - special mention to Lenka who helped us with our tourist questions and finding out all we needed to know. She was attentive throughout our stay. Breakfast had a great selection of cold and warm food items and prosecco to enjoy should you wish, again staff very attentive. The beds were comfortable with a pillow menu available, and amenities plentiful. Without hesitation I would recommend anyone to stay here for a fantastic time exploring Prague.

A short, pleasant walk to the main square, close to a metro stop, smart reception and breakfast area in traditional style with friendly, helpful staff. A very grand ballroom in the basement! Our room was one of the smaller ones but good value for money and we enjoyed the breakfast.

All was great. They may improve on the breakfast. It’s good but not great as in other comparable properties.

This hotel is a gem. It is a first class hotel and treat you like family. Everyone is friendly, helpful, engaging and welcoming. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are very roomy, the bathrooms are bigger than most hotels and the amenities in the bathroom are first rate. The concierge is knowledgeable and the best part is that everything for the most part is with in walking distance. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance and the food is first rate. If your 65 or older transit is free and most of the attractions are 1/2 price or free. We found out from other travelers. Make sure you have an IDnon you just in case they ask. If you need a ride from the airport use Uber at the airport don’t use Taxi 2Airport. If your plane is delayed unless you give them 24 hour notice they will not pick you up. Happened to us. Do use them from Hotel. to Airport worth it. Finally don’t get the CityPass not worth it. Never gave us what we paid for.

First class breakfast as part of the booking. Excellent transfer process to airport.
