The rooms are on the small side but well lit and the bathroom and shower are very nice. As noted in other reviews, there is not an adequate trash receptacle in the room-just a tiny one in the bathroom. One restaurant meal fabulous and one not good at all. Brownie dessert is wonderful. Staff great and speak English well.

Decent Stay

Overall I had a decent stay at Gran Evenia Panama. Had some issues with the toilet seat not being attached when I first checked into my room. Maintenance was supposed to repair the issue while I went out to get food but when I returned the repair was not done due to no maintenance person being available. It was a bit annoying because I just arrived from a late flight and wasn’t told about a maintenance person not being available from the start. They moved me to another room but there were a few areas that could’ve been cleaned better. Hair was in the sink, shower and on the nightstand. Otherwise, room was very spacious, comfortable, and nicely decorated. Hotel was in a convenient location within walking distance to shops and restaurants, and staff was friendly. Breakfast was delicious! Nice rooftop pool and bar area. I would stay here again.

Arron the front desk agent was/is exceptional at his job. He took the time out to help me figure out the best ways to move around the country and to do everything i had on my tinerary want. He is truly a great asset to the hotel. Great job arron!!

It was convenient, the area has excellent restaurants and bars, drugs store and mini mart 2 minutes away. The mall was a $5.00 taxi fare…. Just perfect

I have stayed here since the hotel opened. I like it and will undoubtedly return. Panama’s weather is hard on buildings. The management should pay attention at minor deteriorating property aspects before they become major. It is still a very good hotel in the middle of Panama

Hotel was clean, safe and within walking distance to food, laundrette, and minimarts. Staff was friendly and Aaron in particular was really helpful with getting us situated and finding our way around. Breakfast could have had a little more variety.

The hotel was very modern. The staff was warm and friendly. They always gretted me with a genuine and warm smile. My room was very clean and breakfast was delicious. I also ate ate the restaurant for dinner and it was good as well!

I had the best experience at Gran Evenia. The highlights were the decor, the bed was very comfy, and everything was so clean. The cherry on top was the on site restaurant and the customer service. I ate at the restaurant every night because it was that good!!! Please try the calamari and the chicken ravioli. Chef's kiss!!! Dalias and Zuleiman (I hope I spelled their name correctly) they are gems. They provided me with the beat service I've probably ever received at a restaurant. The breakfast is a nice spread as well. I highly recommend Gran Evenia. You won't be disappointed.

Nice, centrally located property. Convenient access to the usual points of interest. Quiet rooftop pool and outstanding selection at breakfast buffet. Local shops ( Concordia Plaza, Gran Morrison ) and great restaurants ( Puntarena, Parillada Martin Fierro) in easy walking distance.

Very nice hotel. The rooftop pool and bar were nice ways to cool off. The breakfast was tasty with lots of options. Our room faced the busy street and there was a lot of street noise throughout the night that made sleeping difficult. We only stayed 1 night before a cruise so it was not a big deal but it wouldn't have been great for a longer stay.

Great location, close to restaurants and convenience stores. Room was spacious and clean. Parking was available at no charge and the breakfast buffet was excellent.

This property looks exactly like the pictures. The staff was helpful despite the language barrier. The pool bar was not stocked or open when I was there. The pool area was nice & clean. The room was beautiful. It’s close to alot of places. I didn’t pay more than 5 in an uber to get anywhere. There are several dining options in walking distance as well. I would definitely stay here again.

My mom and I stayed two nights. The room was clean, and we could do an early check-in. It has a convenient location, is in the city's heart, and is close to a pharmacy, convenience store, and subway station. The room and the hotel were clean, modern, and beautiful. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. Our experience was pleasant; I'd choose it again.
