The Gran Estanplaza was an amazing hotel. I'm very satisfied with my stay.
Great hotel
Great
I love the setting of the dinning area, breakfast is very rich and there’s even a piano playing. I find it very unique. Everyone is always very friendly.
If you need a good nights sleep, do not sleep on the front of the hotel. Across the street they have a nightclub. They also have an indoor/outdoor soccer facility where they could be having tournaments all the way till one in the morning and they also have an event center that’s mostly outdoors where they could be partying till two or three in the morning so if you have an important meeting in the morning, I would recommend asking for a room in the back of the hotel.
The staff was amazing but breakfast was most memorable. Food excellent, ambience exceptional. Live piano music icing on the top.
Great service, excellent location
Great place and the food was excellent.
When my AC went out at 1130 PM for the second night that evening, I called to have it fixed again. The AC is controlled by the telephone in the room. Something so strange that it can not be explained. The tech asked me to change rooms to the room next door where the AC did work. The front office called and asked me to move my things to the new room. I suggested that I just sleep in the new room and move out of my old room in the morning. The manager said that was not compliant with their rules. I told them that I would not follow their rules and who ever disagreed with me should come up and talk to me directly. When a room costs 240 USD, in Sao Paulo you would think that management would think twice about their solutions.
Loved the antique feel and marble throughout. Loved the live pianist during breakfast and the refreshments set out in the evenings. Estanplaza pus attention to detail, comfort and luxury.
Amazing staff and food
Very nice hotel. There was an issue with my reservation and the front desk (Michelle) was tremendous in getting the issue solved. Fantastic breakfast. Will stay again.
Muy completo, conveniente, inmediato al sector financiero. Buen restaurante!
Rooms old and noisy
Excelente breakfast
It is a five star property with a fabulous staff. The restaurant folks are incredible.
Ok
Good location and good staff
Excellent location and incredible views !!!
The hotel has an old world charm. I enjoyed my visit.
My room was ok with a few things that i didn't like it. Mattress wasn't right for my back, tv small and bad quality, image not sharp. I stayed in a high floor but felt super noisy. Staff was the high note specially at the breakfast , i would stay again just for the breakfast. However i stayed in 3 hotels in the same area, 500 yards apart and this one would be my 2nd option.
The best place to be in Sao Paulo, great customer service from Gabriela and Michael
Lovely hotel. Nicely done, good-sized room. Staff was helpful and food was good.
Good location in a quiet neighborhood. Room size is good, but not sufficiently clean and room furniture rather old.
Great location
Great location, top notch service.
Everything was great !
The style of the hotel is very pretty as one can see by the pictures. However, upon visiting you start noticing the details: stained chairs in the dining room, chipped teapots (with its chips ending up in you coffee cup), dried milk on the lip of the milk jug even though you're the first person at breakfast (raising the question of how often the milk jug is cleaned), holes in the bed sheets and rusty shower heads to mention a few. The service was nice and the tapioca pancakes and fresh fruit offered at breakfast were delicious. However, the hotel is def not in the 4*-5* range.
Cannot talk enauph about Michelle. At frint desk. A Trully lovely lady. Thank you. Staff extremely kind and helpful. Will return.
Nathanan, Patricia and Sergio were so good to us. I loved the service. Very nice place to stay. The food is amazing. Will come back next year 🤗🙏
Great
Great location, comfort, service. Understandably breakfast buffet not as rich as before pandemic, but still good.
The staff, breakfast, rooms, everything was great about this place. I have stayed at other more expensive places in São Paulo but this place is the best. I will stay there again, and probably every time I visit São Paulo.
The room was good and as you would expect. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They printed a few pages for me without a problem. The gym equipment was a bit dates
Nice hotel for SP visit
Great!!!
The staff are very professional and kind!
Great hotel
This hotel has always been fantastic, and I book it for my boss each time he visits Sao Paulo.
Nice rooms, good gym and good breakfast.
Excellent location, neraby shopping centers and restaurants in a residential area.
Excellent staff. Complimentary breakfast is out of this world.
What a wonderful hotel. I travel all over the world, and what separates a good hotel from a great one is the service. The service here was amazing, from Natalia and the staff (including the pianist) in the breakfast area to the staff at the front desk, everyone went out of their way to make us feel pampered and special. The buffet is wonderful, too. The area is a business area, so it’s quiet and clean, and close to the domestic airport. And both the hotel’s rooms and the public areas are beautiful. I’d go back in a heartbeat!
Always amazing! Breakfast is great and the rooms are very comfortable and clean!
This hotel was reasonably clean but definitely not 5-star
Outstanding place
Services of each employee is outstanding. Food is really good and location is very convenient. I strongly recommend this hotel. It is fantastic.
great location.... nice property. Would stay there again
It has better rating than the other hotel across the street and it is close to the WTC
The breakfast fresh fruits and good service .....Great piano player
Overall is good place to stay, staff are friendly
There is Carrefour Express walking distance about 5 min to get water and soft drinks. There also a taxi booth across, breakfast is delicious and staff are friendly.
Great place to be with outstanding service
Everything was great about the hotel, checkin process, area, service, food, and the room. My only complaint is that their fitness center has an incredible weight room but the cardio equipment was pitiful. More than half the machines were either broken or in a severe case of disrepair, so while overall it is 4, the cardio is barely a 1. Please replace the treadmills and elliptical machines now.
Excellente hotel in all aspect...the staff is very gentle and the breakfast is really good with an excellent piano player every morning with a beautiful music while you breakfast...
Character and comfort
The staff at the Gran Estanplaza Berrini really go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and at home. They do so many little things to set themselves apart, like afternoon snacks in the lobby, live music at breakfast and little notes from housekeeping in your room. I have to say though, my room had mosquitos and I left with multiple bites and on my first night there they had an issue with the drains and the water was coming out brown for a few hours. Other than this, truly excellent.
I love the breakfast with pianist!!! I love the tea and cakes from 5 to 7pm. The bathrooms will need a renovation soon.
Very well located hotel in Sao Paulo
This was "repeat business" as I had been at this hotel before. However this time I had a couple of hiccups with the room and staff. The room I had 1416 was a bit noisy both with internal and external noise. There's some type of pump that kicks in at different times of the day, unfortunately when I reported to the front desk they simply told me there was nothing they could do, plus I was staying only for three nights and I did not want to bother with the hassle of having to change rooms, especially since I discovered the noise on the first night. The external noise comes from loud music from a night club across the street from the hotel. I rented the Executive Lounge for a business meeting on June 13th the location and amenities are wonderful however a junior employee reminded me of the cost per person in a non discreet manner. I reported the incident, but there was not discount at checkout time (lack of Customer Service recovery)
Nice hotel
I had really good time!!! Michelle surprise my niece with cake and baloons and she really loved !!! Breakfast was perfect with piano music... so relax
Great experience
Value for money in a great location
Nice hotel
I only stayed one night at this hotel and Mr observation is than it has managed to combine old world charm with unobtrusive modernisation. It looks nicely elegant and you don't get the sense that they are botching things up. The bedroom and bathroom are clean, with nicely finished workmanship. The reception and other team members I encountered were professional and friendly. Overall, I left with a good impression
I highly recommend!
We loved the hotel for its location, the comfortable room, the excellent courtesy and kindness of staff(we got an upgrade!), They arae good giving suggestions where to go and eat! Very quiet room, fast internet. Nice breakfast..
Nice but noisy
Great hotel but do not stay on a Saturday. The noise from the clubs and surrounding neighbourhood makes it impossible to sleep.
Great service
Very nice and convenient hotel. Breakfast was amazing! And staff. Beyond great!
Safe and close to shopping malls
Good and easy access to resturants, shopping and business districts
Súper São Paulo
Safe secure close to shopping. Friendly and complete service. Great food. The piano in the morning during breakfast was fantastic. Everyone was so quick to help. After 2 weeks it felt like we were leaving our family
Best stay EVER!!
This hotel was super!!! They let us check in early. They were so incredibly nice. I told the girl I liked her nail polish when she was checking me in. Later that evening I had a call from the front desk saying I had a gift and asked if they could bring it to me. I said sure and they brought it right up. It was the nail polish I said I liked with a lovely note. I travel for work 75% of the time and this was by far the nicest I have ever been treated at any hotel! Everyone was nice, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was lovely, especially the piano player and the ambiance. The rooms were cozy and homey. I really loved it and would absolutely go back. In fact, if I am ever in São Paulo, this will be the only hotel I will stay at. I highly recommend it!
Nice hotel well located but a bit old
Super friendly and helpful staff. Nice hotel but a bit old. Windows need an upgrade as they don't get fully closed and could get a bit noisy specially in the lower floors.
Good hotel for your value
service excellent
Great hotel and service is the strongest point
The hotel is very good, excellent location, great breakfast and lunch buffets, room is very comfortable but they must invest changing there windows for noise proof ones. Traffic is constant because of the city's highway belt and the noise is disturbing even during night. Amaizing team and really great price for what you get!
Excellent Value and Service
Very impressed with this property, their 5 star service, their amenities, and the value. Hotel is very well appointed and the rooms are high quality with top notch furnishings. The breakfast offerings offered a "taste of Brazil" and the variety was excellent. Highly suggest the Restaurant for lunch or dinner....the food from the menu was incredible with a broad selection of wines to select. I strongly recommend this location and will stay here on my next trip to Sao Paulo.
Best stay in São Paulo
If you are a tourist and have time to commute away the hassle and bustle of the city here is e best place to be. Short work to the train and in 30 min you are I the centre. Reception are particularly helpful and charming
Great hotel with exceptional people
Very good hotel located near CENU and Berrini street (business area). The receptionists and attendants were very nice, something we don't see in similar hotels nowadays. Breakfast and restaurant are also good.
Wonderful hotel. Front desk staff is superb. Restaurant, for breakfast, had a great staff and plenty of options. All around it was a magnificent 5 day stay.
great hotel and staff. great location.
The check-in was very easy, I didn't like my room because it had two twin beds. I call them and they gave me another room. It as a good environment and the breakfast is great. Very clean with a good internet connection. Location is also very good!
Very good location in the business district
Staff is great and service is good. Location is near business district and close to everything. The property however is old and in need of remodeling. Probably saw its glory days back in the 1970s and 1980s.
Nice decor and great breakfast
Friendly staff. Great breakfast! Got upgraded on a quiet Sunday.
Recommended ! (Berrine region - São Paulo)
Nice hotel... friendly staff, perfect location in Av.Berrine region
Good value hotel in financial district
Stayed for 7 days on business. Comfortable and friendly hotel, slightly fading grandeur, for example creaky equipment in the gym, uncomfortable office chairs in the room if spending ay time working at the desk. Close a nice up market shopping mall but not much else going on in the evening. Doesn't really have a dedicated bar area where one can relax in the evening without eating (though restaurant food very good). We got a pretty good rate for our stay compared to other hotels of same category in the area.
Expensive place (cost vs value)
Better priced than better known neighbors
Located in Morumbi where many high-tech companies are located, the hotel is beside the Sheraton (WTC) and the Hilton. It has all the luxuries but is somewhat cheaper for not having an internationally known brand. I have stayed there many times. The staff, breakfast and rooms never disappoint.
Location is key
Pure business, they shouldnt charge for wifi, it is old school
Feeling special
From the minute I checked in, I had fruit in my room. One day, I came back from work and I had a vase with flowers, all courtesy of the housekeeping! Every staff member is nice and helpful... They really made me feel special!!!!
Old world charm
Charming hotel with a 50s sensibility. Located in the business area which has no tourist appeal and little to do but feels safe and is good if you are indeed there on business. The breakfast is good but the gym could use a more powerful AC and the pool is teeny tiny.
Great hotel with good services
Great hotel to stay close to word trade center and SP IT Hub
Good for my business stay
Room was well appointed and comfortable. Location was ideal for my business meetings. The only thing that could have improved the stay would have been availability of free internet at least in the common areas, or the availability of better wifi rates between 2 days and a week.
Cheaper option at great business location
Hotel is very nicely located... the room was ok, feeling a little bit old, but no complains. The restaurant was a little expensive, but the service is very good! All in all, a very nice alternative to the more expensive Hilton and Sheraton next door.
excelent hotel, confortable and the breakfast
great hotel, near to the congress that I attended, great breakfast and good meals
Excellent service
Well managed and run hotel. All staff friendly and helpful Chris
Nice Place
This was definitely a nice place to stay and I will stay there again when I travel again to Sao Paulo.
Good business hotel but internet and elevators
This is a business hotel in the business district. The rooms are comfortable and clean although the internet which they now charge for is hopelessly unreliable. In my room there were a lot of mosquitoes and I had to have it decontaminated. The breakfast has a good choice but there appeared little in the evening - a small deserted bar area which is uninviting. The elevators in the hotel are slow - I waited over 5 minutes on a number of occasions for it to arrive at busy times. stairs are not an option. The gym is ok but used by people from outside the hotel. The swimming pool is awful - don't bring your swim suit!
Good safe area a few hundred meters from railway
Staff are exceptionally friendly and speak good English. The whole hotel was spotless as was my bedroom.
Great hotel for business travel
The hotel is located in a very safe part of Sao Paulo and is walking distance from restaurants.
Nice room
Comfortable and well appointed room. Friendly staff. Meal service a bit expensive but for the rest fine.
Just a room
The place claims to have a bar, but the two days I was there that consisted of a single bottle of vodka. I'm still wondering about that one ... There were no towels or cups for the water dispenser in the exercize room the entire weekend and Monday morning. However, the room was clean, though they "forgot" to service it one day. They also misspelled my name in the reservation system, so it took four hours to initially get on the internet.
The best hotel I've stayed in Sao Paulo
The hotel is really nice, staff is friendly, rooms are very comfortable.
Great hotel in the business district
It is an absolutely great hotel in the middle of Sao Paulo business district and if you got meetings in the neighborhood then it's an absolute good address.
Gran Estanplaza
Like a Brazilian version of a Ritz.very nice rooms and bar and restaurant. Nice safe upscale location.
Personal service. .. above and beyon
A maid noticed my travel toothbrush was broken. She wrote a personal note and gave me a new one. A front desk staff member heard I love the gum drops they usually have at the front desk... she had a bag purchased and brought it to my room. Other colleagues had similar experiences. No other hotel pays such close attention to on to their guests.
Estan´laza
It was OK.. Food was good not great. Hotel looks quite old
I asked for an iron and they said they only offer a dry cleaning service which also iron clothes, so I ask for the dry cleaning service. Every time they said someone is on its way but never arrived. I called multiple times each day, at different times, until the time I left, no one ever arrived. So, bring your iron if you wanna ironed clothes. There is not a lot of variety in the menu at hotel, but there are a lot of good restaurants nearby.
In Grand Style in the heart of business
My stay was all about business, so being able to reach all my destinations within 15 minutes taxi even in the worst of Sao Paolo traffic was critical. However, the style of this legacy hotel with very seasoned staff made it an oasis. Unlike the hectic Sheraton across the street, the ambiance is relaxing and professional; the construction of the rooms carries an aura of luxury, with real woods, marbles, and rich fabrics. The gym under the roof is a gem, not the run-of-the-mill treadmills, but real weights and equipment, and even a small pool. Cabs and drivers are at the door around the clock, too. Totally enjoyed my stay!
Ok hotel, near some shopping
The hotel is outdated inside, although it doesn't look like from outside. Staff was friendly. Basic amenities and location is away from downtown without many options nearby with exception of a furniture mall.
Outstanding!
This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in and I travel a lot around the word. The staff are very helpful and friendly, and speak good English. The hotel amenities are superb. The room I was given was large, clean, and very comfortable. Highly recommended!
Good business hotel
Overall this was a great option for a short business trip. The breakfast was good in a very enjoyable setting.
It was fine for a one day stay. The hotel has seen better days.
