Don’t go!
The bed had bugs, and hairs all over the second sheet. The pool was so filthy I didn’t swim in it. Not much to do there, unless you want to spend $900 to see some dolphins, or a $1000 to go fishing. The resort owners wife was rude to me twice in a matter of minutes, and wanted to charge me $45 to go 19 km. Even the taxi driver, I talked to said they only charge $20 ( the bus was $2.50). She also was mean to her employees.
very dirty n disgusting poor service. food was good and few staff was good. management was parting there as if they are guests. honestly that is so un classy they should be ashamed of themselves. your guests always come first. i will not recommend this place to anyone. please reframe from going there.
It was dirty and falling apart nothing like as advertised, broken bed and all these ruined our presious moment sunce we were so looking forward and we checked out 1 day earlier despite paying for it and was not refunded,I would never recomend anyone to go here, dissappinted
The villa accommodation was unique and comfortable, food was delicious. Staff were friendly and welcoming! The best food on the island!!
If they could improve the cleanliness of the toilet and room then it would have been a 5 star accomodation. Also the owner(she) is a bit rude in couple of her remarks although the staffs were amazing.
The staff were wonderful, the dining sensational and vibe was relaxed. Our bure was fantastic, with excellent aircon and great seaside views from the balcony. Unfortunately the bed was a quite a bit harder than we like so that affected our sleep, but otherwise our stay at Golden Point was really enjoyable and we would stay there again.
Staff on the floor were very nice Some staff training in coffee making will help food we ate was nice Rooms are like backpackers place with noisy rooms will class it as cheap stay place current price also doesn’t reflect satisfaction as I stayed in upto 3 more villas in the area at similar pricing with full satisfaction This place is great for a stopover for lunches and refreshments with some great cooks
Its a nice place
Needs a facelift Food could have been better
Great service. Good for overnight stay.
The rooms were shabby and the bathrooms in very bad state. It looked run down. The shower curtains looked dirty. It was quite disappointing. The bar and dining area was good and the view of the ocean was spectacular. The staff were friendly and helpful.. but alas you couldn’t get past the awful rooms.
good
Staff are great, very quiet and relaxing small resort, good value for money. Good menu.
Stunning view and fabulous hosts, very friendly staff
Nothing unique. Very dirty . Door locks loose. No soap holder. Stain inside toilet pan. Bed sheets dirty looks like not cleaned. Floor sticky. Lights not bright inside the bathrooms and toilet. Dirt and bugs every were .
Not worth the money I paid
Pretty run down place, old and dirty, towels, sheets have stains, bugs in the rooms. Total turn off. The owner tried to listen to our concerns but on her own time. Considering what I paid for my stay, they should really keep the place of standard. Dinner expensive for whet you get, breakfast was average, staff was friendly.
It was not friendly. Dirty rooms. No bathing soap. Staff are not friendly. Services are so poor. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Very friendly and attentive staff, nice location build with love.
The bar and staff are good. Pool side room noisy. Choose another room.
Problem with the AC units n Nothing in the room
Great
I love my stay there . Very friendly staffs, lovely atmosphere.
Host and staff were wonderful. Food was excellent, and well priced. Bed was very comfortable. Resort is quite a long way from towns etc. so is good place to relax quietly.
Terrible and dirty
Worst experience. Dirty, no lotion or shampoo, no tissue paper, no soap, no help with unloading, sewage smell in the bathroom, toilet with stains. Will never book it again.
Over priced menu
The Staff was friendly. The resort was in a beautiful setting. The food was great. A nice 2 days of relaxation. There wasn’t a lot to do. The beds need to be replaced.
It was a really lovely place to stay! the staff was unbelievably friendly and helpful and fun. they went out of their way to accommodate us and even show us hiking trails. the rooms were very clean and tidy. beds were super comfortable and there was air conditioning which was really needed. I can't say enough about the food. It was delicious and cooked too taste. you could also get dairy free, Free gluten-free, all sorts of options. They do a really good job. The location was beautiful. They let me use the kayaks and paddle around the island outfront. I would recommend this place to anyone pe
It’s not a resort, pool is terrible, dirty, overpriced, food is expensive, and taste less. Toilet and bathroom are dirty, hand basin has never been scrubbed. You will get tea, coffee and hot water jug but no milk. Towels are old and ripped .
Nice property. We were not given the same service as other tourist since we are returning residence.
Nice and peaceful with beautiful natural surroundings, the lagoon and the natural decor - wood, the colours of nature and a calming simplicity. The staff were awesome and friendly as well. A really lovely 'get away' to relax and rejuvenate.
This place was beautiful. Very comfortable room with breath taking views. Very nice property to walk around. We really enjoyed our stay here.
Bit expensive for what it is
The weather wasn’t too great to do the water activities, but we only stayed for one night. Their prices for their specific activities were abit pricey. Staff friendly and helpful.
Ceiling fan worked only at maximum speed. A/C not cooling properly
They gave me a downgraded room which was crap, taps not working and the room was broken down when I paid good money, they tricked me when I should be given more
It was a pleasant enough place to stay. A little dated but clean and tidy. However it did seemed like the resort is only 3/4 finished. The bar was well stocked and the meals were fine, but I did feel pushed to order an entree and eat the fish rather than the chicken curry I wanted. I defiantly didn’t order the $250 seafood platter no matter how big it might have been. Oddly my phone had excellent reception except during early evenings and early mornings. It was like I was being encouraged to pay $10 per day for the wifi. The free wifi in the bar area seemed to have a different router and code each day which was also a pain. For the price I would expect free wifi, or an explanation as to why my phone signal seemed to fail at certain times of the day. (My phone connection has been rock solid everywhere else in Fiji) I didn’t ask about the dolphin, snorkelling of game fishing trip as the chalk board said that the prices started at $700 😳
Unique about the property was the sea view and the serenity of the surrounding. Was a lovely atmosphere a bit of a drive from the function we were attending but most definitely worth it
Friendly employees.
Started off pretty good but then things just went south from there. After having lunch at the restaurant, which was excellent, went for a lay down in the room. Turned the A/C on and when woke up there was water pouring out from the A/C. Went to inform the reception and they said they’ll get back to me. We went for a walk around the property for a bit and when we got back to the reception, was told the best they can do for us is give us a free breakfast in the morning. Oh let me add this too , it was a fairly muggy evening. We said we don’t have breakfast anyway so the staff said they couldn’t do anything else. Anyway we ordered some dinner to have in the room , after they gave us the food we went back to the room and those pricks had turned the water off in our room. I went back to reception to inform them. After a while a lady came to me and said that they are looking into why the water was turned off. I just said to her that this is pathetic ( I don’t know if she was the manager or the owner) , 1st the A/C leaks and now this. She offered us to move to another room which I gladly agreed too. To our disgust when we got to the room , it was 1/2 the size of the room we paid for , 1 single bed for both of us to sleep on , the toilet area was dirty , people were still making noise at 11pm near the pool area , our room was above the pool area. I can go further but I hope you get the picture. And I was too tired to complain anymore. We’ll never to this place again. Ni Sa Moce
Nice and tidy rooms. Bathrooms were nice. Bed was basic wooden bed with a foam mattress. TV is very small. Resorts was nice and quiet. Not much activities to do. Got bored after 1 day. Resort only offers kayaking. Other activities suggested in their website is too expensive. Resorts website “Activities” page is broken. Staff were very friendly, two dogs on the property. Would recommend for a couple of nights, really nice for a relaxing trip and get away from urban life and other busy resorts.
It was quiet and relaxing. I was with my family and we found it quite accommodating for us. Staff were excellent helpful and friendly. If you planning to stay here make sure you are aware that it is not close to town unless you have a ride, however, eating at hotel is a great option.
Friendly staff and service was great.
Good service
Needs standard as price is so high…there wasn’t any hair dryer..when we moved the bed there was dirt. Food price is so expensive. We dnt experience what we saw in the picture.
Could have been a little bit cleaner, property starting to show its age.
Beautiful sunrises & sunsets! The grounds are being updated.....when finished, they should look fantastic.
The place is a real hidden gem - but could be world class with some much needed upgrades. The beaches are rocky with no swimming areas. Lots of water but no place to swim. Pool was tiny and misplaced. Food was great. Bathrooms in some rooms needed to be fixed. Water and power stopped working for hours one day Friendly owners.
Friendly staff n clean environment
