Amazing and wonderful gem to stay at!

A beautiful treasure in the middle of downtown with a river behind it. The home is gorgeous inside and out. David the owner is awesome and very friendly and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was a treat, and the staff was great. Anytime we are in the area we will book with The Ginko Tree as David and his wife Layla created a true atmosphere of "a home away from home"!! Would recommend staying and as well as a venue for events. Many congrats to both of them to the new addition to their beautiful family. Five stars!!

Loved how the building was decorated! Hosts were incredibly kind and personable! The only thing I would recommend would be putting a fan in the room to use at leisure. Our room was a tad hot. We opened the windows and it cooled off throughout the middle of the night, but the street was loud due to college being back in session up until about 12am or so. Overall, the stay was exceptional!

The stay was awesome. I was able to communicate with the Inn Keepers about the time of our arrival, even as it changed. The breakfast was amazing, and they are very caring people.

Inn was lovely and so were the owners and their sweet young daughter—they catered to our every need and really made us feel at home. Wonderful stay, highly recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat.

The food was really good and the woman who owns the bed and breakfast is such a delight. My boyfriend and I loved staying here and will definitely stay again the next time we are in town.

This is a fully restored early 1900 mansion. It does have the latest creature comfort such as nice bathrooms, internet, fire protection and etc. The bistro has excellent food and atmosphere.

Ginko Tree Inn is a lovely B&B close to downtown Mt. Pleasant. The proprietor, Jean, was excellent -- not only a fantastic chef, but she surprised us with a yummy turndown snack. The hotel is beautifully appointed with period furniture. A great place to stay!

Class Reunion

Stayed for 50 class reunion. Right downtown so able to walk the area. Lovely dinners offered and four choices for breakfast. We were on the third floor with a fairly large room with interesting features. Glad we stayed there.

We stayed for a night for my daughter CMU graduation. The Inn was wonderful. We. Also ate dinner at the restaurant on sire -Adelaide’s- also very enjoyable . I would definitely stay there again.

Hidden Gem

Bed was like a fluffy cloud. Room was adorable with a great view. Breakfast was delicious! Definitely coming here again. It's also good if you come just for lunch/dinner.

Had a great stay, wish it could have been longer. The inn was extremely clean and comfortable. Our room was clean and "homey."The Innkeeper greeted us and was friendly, warm and entertaining. Had just a great time and would recommend this B&B to any and all.

We wanted somewhere special to spend New Year's Eve and the Ginkgo Tree Inn Was the perfect place! The beauty of the rooms, the Romantic atmosphere to the wonderful breakfast the next morning! We are going to make this a tradition! Great time!
