Effie and her staff were amazing. I was solo on this trip and they were all very caring , helpful and attentive. I will definitely return and recommend it to everyone!! The room was very cute and safe . Accessible to almost everything that Mykonos has to offer.

We had a wonderful stay at Galation in Mykonos. The staff were very helpful, kind and always available. At check in, they made a lot of recommendations to check out and there is lots to do in Mykonos! I would definitely recommend to stay at Galation as it is right across from the bus stop which is a great and cost effective way of getting around Mykonos. We also got to the hotel early and our room was ready! Thank you to the Galation staff for a great experience for our first time in Mykonos.

I recently stayed at Galatian Hotel in Mykonos and had an exceptional experience! The rooms are well-designed, well-decorated, and extremely comfortable, providing a relaxing atmosphere after a day of exploring the island. The property is right next to the bus stop which is very convenient. The property was a bit hard to find at first as it is in between 2 restaurants. The staff are incredible and recommended fantastic places to eat. Would absolutely stay again!

Great location. Staff where so friendly and helpful.

Galation is in the perfect location. The public bus from the airport stops right opposite the hotel. There’s an amazing restaurant, Souvlaki Story, right next to it so we could have a nice meal after checking in. Great communication with the staff, especially Effie, who warmly greeted us and made so many recommendations. The hotel is within walking distance to the windmills, Little Venice and so many others. We had a great stay and we recommend this hotel to everyone!

Loved my stay, it was super central (right by the bus station) and a quick walk to the sea. Effie was so kind and knowledgeable at check-in. I would definitely stay again

Amazing Staff

I cannot recommend this hotel enough to anybody looking to stay in Mykonos. Not only was the room clean, spacious, good facilities, the location was perfect - right outside the bus and taxi station and right next to the old town. But the best thing about this hotel was the staff. The two women I dealt with during my stay were fantastic - so friendly and helpful. I had some issues with my ferry being cancelled last minute and having to stay an extra night. The staff were so accommodating and helpful in arranging this and also helping me contact the ferry providers, and printing off tickets, which I really appreciated as a young female solo traveller. I’ve never stayed at a hotel with such great customer service.

Maria was very helpful, accommodating, and professional. She made sure we had hotel transfer to the hotel. Even if it was last minute. Would definitely go back and refer to others.

I've enjoyed my stay at Galation. Walking distance to windmills, old port, amazing sunset viewpoints. It's right opposite to the bus station as well. Room is very clean and neat with good ventilation. Front of house Effie was very sweet and helpful. Totally recommend.

As I was travelling from the port and to the airport by bus I wanted somewhere close to Fabrica the bus station and easy to find without using google maps! Galation couldn't have been easier or nearer. Spotlessly clean,nice modern room and bathroom with fridge,kettle and toiletries etc. Staff very friendly,helpful and knowledgeable about Mykonos if you needed it!

We enjoyed our stay at the Galation. The staff was friendly and helpful, from arranging for a taxi to pick up our group at the port to recommending restaurants and beaches to visit.

Lovely Room in the heart of Mykonos

A lovely room in a small hotel right near absolutely everything to enjoy and have a wonderful stay in Mykonos Town. I chose the room with a Sea view which was a plus in appreciating the beauty of the Island, especially at Sunset if you happen to be in your room at that time. The room was quiet despite being in the heart of a busy area. Great amenities too. The staff is absolutely amazing, friendly and helpful.

We loved staying here before going on to Paros. Thomas who welcomed us was so friendly and super helpful - he was very passionate about recommending his favourite places to eat. The location is perfect… walkable to everything in a couple of minutes. The room was nice, very clean, had everything we needed and very comfortable. All in all, would recommend and stay next time we are in Mykonos.

Mykonos solo trip

Best price if you are looking for an apartment in the very centre of Mykonos. I especially appreciate all the recommendations from the staff, all the restaurants that were recommended to me were amazing.

Rooms and staff were excellent. The hotel has bars and restaurants at street level and is directly opposite the bus station and taxi rank, so quite busy, (and very convenient!) but the room was quiet and comfortable.

the absolute best location if you want to be in mykonos town! everything you need is right outside your door and all restaurants/bars/clubs/shopping are walking distance! room was perfect and stocked with everything you need. couldn’t recommend this hotel more!

SUCH AN ANAZING STAY! you are about a 3/4 minute walk away from little venice and the windmills! and the perk of this location is that you are insanely close, but don’t have to deal with the noise and bustle of people at all hours of the day! The room was clean, comfortable, and did the job! The front desk staff was super great and accommodating, providing a ton of recommendations based on what you’d like to see, do, within your time in mykonos! If I ever come back, i’m definitely staying with them!! Also, the most convenient walk ever to the buses, which are used for transport around the island! Literally steps away, but still far away enough to avoid all the noise! LOVED IT! 10/10

on top of a gyro place and it wasn't noisy weirdly enough loved being walking distance to everything as taxi do not exist in greece (so much food and things to do walking distance) rooms were clean ac worked great shower was nice and hot staff were friendly i would stay here over and over again

Booked this hotel at the last second. No regrets! Cute hotel, very clean, great location. Literally, a 2 minute walk to the Windmills. The staff at the front desk were very nice, spoke perfect English, had good recommendations for dinner etc… Would definitely stay there again.

Loved the way the room was styled. True to picture. Location was absolutely amazing, right across from the bus stop. Didn't know this till the last day but you can get a discount when you get food from the attached restaurants!

The hotel is so beautiful clean and its super close to everything in mykonos town, I booked 3 nights. However we had a bad experience with GIGI in the front. I let the hotel know we were coming the next morning bc the flight timing wasnt accurate. However when we came the next morning my wife and I were super tired and wanted to just go up to sleep. She had an attitude and told us initially that we would check in at 3pm and to which i said, i had booked the previous night already. She didnt seem happy at all about helping us, another sweet and kind lady showed up and was kind and helpful instead. The rest of the staff was sweet and kind but Gigi as much as she talks about hospitality she doesnt really know the meaning of it.

Last minute decision to stay in Mykonos, so i was pleased with the standard of the room. Clean, comfortable,with a small balcony looking over the roof tops to a partial sea view. Whilst the hotel is situated next to the bus station, the soundproofing was very good in my room at the back. Recomended.

Amazing clean property. Easy to access location, friendly staff.

This property is close to everything. Shopping, restaurants and the busses to take you to the beach are right across from the hotel so it is easy access. We went downstairs and had a beer and food while waiting for the bus to take us to Paradise. The staff was amazing and helpful in every way. Definitely request a balcony view, which we had. The room is a bit small, but we only used it for sleeping, so the space was plenty. We were hardly in our room except to sleep.

Very very very convenient. Love the location. Stuffs were very nice, friendly, and helpful. Buses across from the hotel super easy to go around. A lot of good restaurants near by. Supermarket is next to the hotel. Windmills and Little Venice is 3 mins away. 180 sunset bar is about 15-20 mins walk. I really enjoyed staying there. Definitely will be back for sure.

I liked the walking distance to stores and places to eat but the ventilation was horrible, the room was so humid from not having some sort of ventilation. My friends room next to us had a small window to help with the steam and humidity as they showered and ours didn’t have that.
