From the moment we walked into the lobby, every detail of our visit was outstanding - starting with the gentleman who greeted us in the lobby and the front desk staff who checked us in. Our room was clean and comfortable and quiet! Our dinner was great. As someone who is gluten-free, I have had a lot of mediocre GF pizzas, so my expectations are always low, but your GF pizza was easily the best I've ever had. When I shared a minor concern with the gentleman who appeared to be in charge of the restaurant, he went above and beyond to address the issue and make sure I was happy. He handled it (me) exactly right. Great customer service is built on many factors, but two things that I feel are probably the most important are (1) attention to details, and (2) how every member of the staff makes me feel. Congratulations to Four Points Auckland for understanding this!
The property was good. However one plain room with no kitchen or dining suite for $400 was outrageous. Parking was a bit of a walk away as well. Breakfast was very average nothing special. Total cost of $500 for an average stay. Fortunately the staff were very helpful but I would not book here again.
Close to the town center
very easy to get to the main area for shopping and dining. Everyone was very friendly. Would recommend staying there.
The hotel was wonderful and the employees were so friendly!!
Location, good staff
Convenient, easy, clean. Could not fault anything. Amazing location for town hall events. Would stay again.
Parking was very easy, bar and restaurant are great. Check in seamless, pleasant and informative. Beds are comfortable. Rooms are quiet, doors are very heavy so other guest coming in and out at different hours are quite noisy. Rooms service was really well priced and arrived hot. Great stay overall.
Very clean - good service. Breakfast was great
Churchill's Gin Bar on the 20th floor was an amazing treat!
Staff excellent, friendly and very helpful at reception. Rooms very clean, comfortable beds.
Nothing to add
Great location
Super convenient and nice place. Walkable to ferry.
Easy check in. Flexible on check out time. Clean and quiet.
I was unwell, (I have MS),when we arrived and the staff got our room cleaned and ready by 11am as our flight from Christchuch got in at 9am. We ate breakfast, were allowed to use the gym, shower and store our luggage. Staff was amazing and fetched coffee for us as soon as we got down for breakfast the next day. The food was exceptional and our friends came for dinner the last night and it was perfect. My son-in law is vegan and we are vegetarian and the kitchen went out of their way to change the meals around to suut our needs, since i was not eating much. Our flight from Auckland to LA was canceled by Air New Zealand, and they were not willing to reschedule us on anotger flight, so my son-in-law spent 10 hours getting us on a Qantas flight. The staff held a room for us, (even though it was the Christmas, New Year Season and they were virtually booked up)in case we has to stay longer- we let them know as soon as we got a flight. I cannot speak highly enough about all the staff from the cleaners, to waiters, to kitchen and reception staff and everyone else we dealt with. They were all so friendly, helpful, and accomadating. We are so grateful Thank you all and Happy New Year GlendaThomas
Great hotel in great location!
We were allowed to check in earlier than the specified time once the room was ready and that allow us to rest and refresh ourselves.
Wonderful
Very convenient for concert at Auckland Town Hall
Hotel is walking distance to the mall and our room can see Skytower very clearly. Room facilities are great, big spacious room, staff are friendly. Only problem is main entrance not towards the street and driveway is narrow, if you need to call Uber you would need to walk to the roadside. But overall very happy with the stay and would recommend to friends
The room was fine and the location worked out well for me. I appreciated the gluten free options at breakfast but there weren’t many on the dinner menu and there weren’t many dining options in the area.
Staff was very helpful and friendly
Great service and very clean hotel
We were able to checkin a little early as our room was ready and our room was spotlessly clean. Plush towels, clean bathroom and a good shower. We stayed here for location to the theatre for a show. Perfect location for this. We also ate a lite meal before going. Service was good and the meal was sufficient. We would stay here again if the price was right. We got a good deal for our stay but woudnt stay if it was full price.
Friendly and accommodating staff
Will visit again Great customer services
Enjoyed the stay, staff were friendly and inviting, room was very nice and tidy.
nice hotel city central
nice hotel with very comfortable beds and great views. close to harbor/sky tower.
Nice Place
Friendly and helpful staff. We arrived early, stored our bags, and staff brought them to our room when room was ready. Excellent breakfast. Bed is soft, so may be better for others. The key cards occasionally don’t work well in the elevators, which are needed to select your floor.
Staff was awesome!! Definitely recommend!!
Well located with friendly helpful staff
Very friendly staff, excellent food and clean environment
Was the best hotel I have ever stayed at. Awesome staff!
Another flying visit to stay in Auckland. Great location, friendly staff, amazing roof top bar.
I stay at this hotel every time I come to Auckland, which is quite often. I have a wonderful experience each time and cannot fault the hotel and it's staff.
If you get a room with a view, the view is great. Shower is awesome. Restaurant is excellent. The only negative worth commenting on is the taps! The provide a nice big sink in the bathroom but the tiniest little taps, so when you wash your hands you have to smoosh them up against the sink wall to get any water on your hands. Wish they would change that.
Got the two bedroom suite with breakfast for family members: we had a great, memorable stay. Staff were friendly and anything we asked for was sent up to the suite super quickly. Would definitely recommend.
Service second to none
The staff were fantastic from the time we drove in. They organised the parking and checked us in and helped us with luggage from car to the room. The room was fantastic and had a good size. The bed was comfortable, offered things like ironing board and iron, built in cupboard, TV was a nice size and the bathroom was great as well as bathroom items from shampoo and conditioner to cotton buds and hand soap. Very secure. Also access to the bar at the top level of the hotel was a nice touch and offered lots of cocktails with an extensive gin and whiskey collection. Also the view of downtown Auckland was amazing.
Another great stay. Staff are welcoming and helpful. Roof top bar amazing. Easy walk everywhere.
Staff where lovely
It was great
Just had a wonderful 2 night stay on a business trip. the staff were exceptional in every way as were the rooms. We will definitely stay again. thank you guys - look forward to coming back soon.
.
Comfortable room, great views and friendly accommodating staff. A good location to explore Auckland from. They were more than happy to store our bags and checking in at 4am, due to flight times, was not an issue. Would definitely recommend
Enjoyed my stay and was a beautiful room! Only fault was the fact that the tv wasn’t a smart tv. I assumed being that expensive they would have a better tv than the one that was in the room. Also, don’t understand why there is a $7 charge for room service? It’s unnecessary and would think that the hefty price of the hotel room would include in-room service
Can’t wait to come back
Wonderful service, fabulous restaurant and easy valet parking
Nice and quiet, love the city view!
Great place to stay
Great staff and service, nice location walking distance to the harbor.
Great property close to Aotea Centre and Town Hall. Staff were helpful and supportive and helped us navigate to venue. Highly recommend
Nice rooms. Great rooftop bar
We found we got good value for money and he location was perfect for an event we were going to at the Auckland Town Hall. We were literally 40metres away.
Good access to the city, room smaller than what I got at Four Points Perth a few weeks ago for the same price. If you have a car then parking is $35 per day in a third party Wilson car park that some people won't feel safe at night so its best to spend the extra at Sky City as they give you an exit ticket for free parking whenever you need to leave your hotel room.
Amazing view, close walk to Britomart station
Nice clean room. Friendly staff. Rooms were not soundproof. Could hear noise outside door. Was in corner room with sky tower view. Unfortunately view of tower not from bed. Had to move to sides of room to view.
New go to
Another great stay, this is now my go to Auckland hotel.
Great
Great hotel, would stay again. Glad we opted for a deluxe room and all staff was friendly and accommodating.
Great location on queen street right in the middle of the action!
Great stay
Walkable to a lot restaurant
I was in room 1313 first but the TV didn’t work so was changed to room 615 both rooms were nice. Sunday night a club on Queens st had thumping music till 1am which keeped me awake that would have been the only down full. The parking was a bit expensive to my liking $ it was convenient overall it was a nice stay. Thank you to the staff.
Lovely check in staff, and beautiful room
The staff was very helpful, it was very easy to check-in and check-out. Breakfast was great. We also ordered some desserts from the restaurant, they arrived quick and were delicious. The view from the room was beautiful. Could have a coat hanger and luggage bench in the room. Not a smart TV and not many channel options.
Rooftop diner should be open on Sundays. Friday Saturday is nice downtown but Sunday would be relaxing to have a rooftop diner
Great spot - will def stay next time in Akld. So convenient and easy - went to show at Town Hall, just across the road. Would have loved to have gone to the roof top bar but was full.
Another great stay
Another fantastic stay! My daughter (2) hurt herself in the dining room and the staff were very attentive and helpful with moving our dinner to our room. Thank you again! This is my third stay in 2 months, it's a new fave. Absolutely wonderful place that is great value. We will be back again!
In the city Centre, through the backdoor along Queen Street you, walking 20min you will fine ferry and go to Devonport…
Rooms are modern and very comfortable. Great location. Staff are welcoming, very helpful and friendly.
Staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and tidy.
Nice room with beautiful view.
Really nice hotel
The services at this hotel were poor. The TV and the room heating system did not work. The TV was found to be unplugged, and the heating system was never fixed. They eventually brought us a space heater to heat the room.
My first time staying at 4 points Sheraton.I am now a member of Marriott. And Im only going to stay at Marriott. From the moment we arrived to the time we left, it was awesome. The bed has to be the biggest and I had the best rest, the facilities in our room were fantastic. I recommend trying the restaurant & although I never got to the roof top bar, it was very popular, all 3 elevators were returning from the top floor. 4points your on point.
Will be back!
Absolute fantastic value for money. The room was beautiful and spacious. The bar was epic and the location was even better. The comedy club across the road was awesome! We will be back!
A nice, well maintained hotel that provided everything I needed during my stay. Clean room, comfortable bed, good shower and all in very good condition. Highly recommend going up to the roof-top bar The Churchill.
Brilliant hotel with a fantastic rooftop bar and a lovely restaurant.
it is walking distance to the restaurant. it is clean.
Don’t go by the address on the website - 396 Queen Street - that address is vacant and up for lease! Entry to the hotel is via Mayoral Drive.
The property was efficiently run and was clean However, the shower screens and drains did not contain the water and it always leaked under the screen door and all over the bathroom floor.
Absolutely lovely staff: friendly, accomadating. Hotel best soundproofing EVER! Our room was right across from elevator and never heard a single noise. Perfectly located near everything (shops, art gallery, market, waterfront, Weta workshop, transportation). Note: fridge but no microwave. And interesting sliding glass wall in BR that let light into bedroom unfortunately. But otherwise have nothing but love for 4 Points.
The accommodation was excellent. The food was also very good, however, the restaurant staff were unorganised. I was unsure how to order and went searching for a person to place the order. I couldn’t identify some staff as they were not in uniform, except for a lanyard around their neck. There needs to be a dedicated staff member to sit the customer down and take their order. I was not the only one who experienced this as I heard several customers complain or just leave. I did notice that a conference was being held and it was busy but there were plenty of staff, just no order.
3 staff on reception but no one seemed to want to serve me. No recognition of my Gold Expedia status or upgrade. Aircon was making a noise but no maintenance staff on. Went out for 6 hours and came back to the room not being serviced not sure if I would go back
I was in Auckland for one night to attend a conference at Auckland Uni. The location of the hotel was excellent. Being a Monday only the lobby restaurant was open but the menu range was good and we were happy not to have to venture out. Valet parking suited us, Concierge took our bags to the car on check out and we were able to pick up the car after our conference. Easy, convenient.and ideal for a one night biz stay.
Waiting 30 minutes tryna ng to get room service before giving up - no apologies were given and no explanation as to why call was not taken. Maybe if staff is too busy for room service, an automated phone message would be good so people wouldn't waste their trip me.
The lovely lady at front desk let us know of the various options for airport transit. Buses leave every 1/2 hour from SkyTower which is a 15 min walk from Four Points and a fraction of cost of a cab. $18 NZD pp vrs $100 NZD for cab.
Slow and expensive
Nice hotel, but service was slow checking in and out. Also paying $7 service fee for room service was a big surprise, I’ve never payed this before in other hotels.
The Churchill bar was great good service. Unfortunately not open on the second night and no signage informing residents. Restaurant was small with cafe sports bar in same area and cleanliness was poor same crumbs for 3 days. One staff member to cover 3 areas while the manager stood watching. Concierge was very helpful. Reception staff didn’t seem to know what they were doing obviously under trained.
Parking fee of $55 per night is excessive!
Was one of the worst hotels stays we have had for the price. There was little to no guidance around amenities, the room was extremely small and parking was 55 dollars otherwise it was 25 dollars for the public parking 1.2km up the road
This was a great place to stay.
Property is nice, but we couldn’t check in up 7pm on day of arrival, no housekeeping, over charged for room.
We had a great stay and loved the location. Beds were super comfy. Room was on the small side and felt quite cramped when sharing with a friend as opposed to a partner.
The place was close to downtown area and you could walk to a lot of places.
Easy and accessible, clean, ticked all the boxes
Not enough space to put toiletries in bathroom. No lights on sides of bed. Big bed but mattress very soft. Nice bar on the 20th floor with balconies overlooking the city. Cafe in lobby offers good continental breakfast for 28 NZD. Cappuccino extra. Or full breakfast which was very expensive. Although the hotel is next to Queen st., the area itself has a lot of Asian food varieties but nothing else plus it's not a nice area to walk around. It is within walking distance from the sky tower.
The property was great. Receptionist very good could not fault. Bed excellent. Nice rooms. Do not waste your money for breakfast worse service and yuk food. I waited an hour for 2 fried eggs to order asked 3 times. I one spoke English did not understand the word egg. Husband got an omelette did not eat it no flavour tasted bland. Buffet average why you would have steamed pumpkin I have no idea. No mushrooms no tomatoes but pumpkin. Hash browns over cooked the 2 left. Asked if more weee coming again 30 mins later none. I paid $39 for an underwhelming experience. Again hotel lovely could not fault it
First time and last time we stay at a 4 points Sheraton. We had always held this hotel in high regard so we thought we would treat ourselves to one night of luxury. Check in was a nightmare - cruise shippers - while crowded there was no cue at the front desk it was everyone for himself. No attempt to organize the mayhem. We had a $23 bowl of soup that was luke warm and water that was the same temperature. The bedroom was a tiny space badly enough room for 4 suitcases. Breakfast was ok nothing rave about. You can do a lot better for $400 a night. It's all hype no substance.
Perfect bathroom and view
The room was just as advertised and worth every penny! The view was lovely and the location was central. Check-in was chaotic. The hotel wasn't prepared for guests to check-in at 3. We were asked to come back because our room wasn't ready. Parking is also less than desirable. But being able to take a bath after a very long journey was rejuvenating. I would probably stay there again.
Great location and awesome staff. Room could have had a better clean.
