It was 14 years since we last stayed at Fort Arabesque. We knew it was a good hotel but it has improved in so many ways since we last visited. The facilities, grounds and beach are fabulous. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. I’ve now stayed 3 times at ‘The Fort’ and I’m sure I’ll be back.
A January gem
A January gem. Not too busy. Spotlessly clean. Well maintained. Beautiful gardens. Polite, helpful, obliging staff. Amazing food. Very well managed. Great for adults only at this time of year. Nice beach. Plenty of sunbeds around the pools and on the beach.
Very good and comfortable
Like always Great stay here! Great staff! Thank you Bassem, Romany, I Dive Diving Center Carlo e Erika, Mizo, Hassan
Room was modern, clean and well equipped Service and staff very good Beach and pools very nice. Good snorkelling Food and drinks a good standard
Amazing staff and exquisite service! Highly recommend. I would make this a yearly destination for my family
The rooms are old, but the landscaping and the property is amazing, the beach is magnificent
My husband and I stayed at Fort Arabesque for our honeymoon and it was everything we wanted & more. The staff was very respectful and professional. It was very clean and sanitary all around. We loved it so much that we added an extra day to our stay. The food was excellent, especially at Club 159 and The Pavillion. We stayed at the Swim Up Villa, which was very quiet and relaxing with privacy. This was the best decision we made when choosing a resort to stay in for our honeymoon.
Is very nice place. And CLEAN, what is not really about Egypt. I am planning to come back.
I like that is was very peaceful and safe
Nice facility and friendly stuff
Awesome place for a family
Service was really excellent and food was so delicious
Wounderful resort in Makadi, well maintained room, good food, nice sandy beach with coral reef, very interesting nice shows…..hope to be there sooner
Very nice stay, wounderful beach ,colored fish&coral reef....well maintained green areas...super food
We were a party of 13 traveling together. Pros -great location and nice beach -lunch and dinner at beach grill was amazing with fresh baked pita bread -excellent New Year’s Eve celebration -entertainment staff were amazing! They worked hard ensuring we were having a good time Cons - drinks were not good, with most bar tenders unfamiliar with making cocktails -buffets mainly had the same things every day -rooms were outdated -Wi-Fi was horrible, limited to a very slow and inconsistent service in the lobby
Very good and easy location
Just back from a 10-day vacation at the Fort. My husband and I have been regular guests for years but I must say, this time was by far THE BEST. Food is as good as always, no issues whatsoever. The Indian food station in the West Bay restaurant was my favorite 😍. The service has always been great, but I can clearly see improvement this time. The West Bay restaurant staff is amazing, they do their best to make everyone happy. The beach bar staff is great even in busy days, specially Yasser. The new animation team is amazing, specially Pável and Yulier from Cuba. Lastly, I’d like to thank Mr. Beshoy Victor for the quick check in and for all his help. Thank u Fort Arabesque team, can’t wait to be back to paradise ❤️
Beautiful hotel and great spot for snorkelling . I will recommend to go for premium inclusive if you wish to enjoy all facilities as long as you don t have young kids accompanying you . The only downside is on my day of arrival at the beach I had 16 people visiting us trying to sell some spa treatments some tours some diving lessons etc … it was the most annoying thing especially when you pay to have some relaxing time . It is for sure extremely unfair . Except this staff are polite and courteous . We paid for premium inclusive on supplement but we still stick to our familial suite instead to be upgraded for a villa … make sure when you book to be wiser than us with the hotels options !
Best resort in makadi. Check in was super easy thanks to Mr. Victor from reception team. Rooms are renovated and very nice. Pools are always clean. The variety of food is great. The beach is hands down the best in Hurghada specially if you are a snorkeling lover. Highly recommended
Friendly staff How clean it was The food was really good
Snorkeling and swimming was wonderful experience . Food and beverages were made of high quality. Beach bar offers all what you need day long. Beach bar dinner experience was very nice.
Loved this resort. The house reef was great for snorkeling. Stay in a villa if you can. The a la cartes had a great food
Comfortable place
Very nice place
Very nice place to go again
Great Resort
Not too big, just perfect, cquick access to beach and everything else, beach is excellent, calm, lots of corals, although there are signs saying not to touch the corals, they should make more of an effort to enforce this rule. they should understand the value of having a beautiful housereef and do more to protect it
Amazing
Best spot in makadi
Great staff very professional the swim up villa is a must try experience food in the buffet was acceptable but the a lacarte restaurants are exceptional would definitely rebook
The staff is very friendly especially the receptionists. Check in was easy and the reception staff was very helpful when we had an issue with the room. Food is great and the restaurant staff are well trained. The room is spacious and very nice yet we would have loved to get one of the renovated rooms. Beach bar is amazing and they serve a great lunch within the all inclusive meal plan, only concern is that the new coffee machine at the bar is not nearly as good as the old ones, the coffee is tasteless and very mild, other than that the beach bar is amazing. The beach is hands down the best in Makadi, especially if you are a snorkeling lover. Hygiene measures are well maintained you will be very safe at the resort. I highly recommend Fort Arabesque for anyone who needs a relaxing vacation.
Faultless
Sea view Swim up villa was amazing
Everything was great except for the sheets they need to buy new one they r v old
Great staff.cracks in path bad for wheelchairs other yjan that great holiday Been six times
Excellent hotel
Our stay was amazing!! The staff were extremely nice and helpful. Food was great We really enjoyed our vacation there. Will be going back definitely
Relaxing resort with great beach and snorkeling
We stayed at Fort Arabesque Resort in early December 2020 during Corona times, so it was not busy at all, which we really liked as we could have relaxing time. Due to Corona and low number of guests, the breakfast/lunch/dinner were all served in the beach Club 159 with open terrace and sea views, at the beach, great decision by the hotel management. The beach at this resort is long and wide, the best in Makadi Bay, with excellent snorkeling directly off the coast (many guests from neighbouring resorts came to snorkel here). The gardens, pools and beach were all very well maintained. The room was spacious with a balcony overlooking the gardens and sea. At night there was live music at Club 159, probably bit louder and lasting longer in the night than we would have preferred. We were allowed a late checkout without any problem, which was really appreciated as we had a late afternoon flight. Unlike neighbouring resorts which seemed busy and noisy, Fort Arabesque felt like a little slice of paradise. Overall, we are really happy with our stay, we would definitely consider coming back.
Will be back!
Fantastic stay in a seaview villa, the rooms are spacious and beautiful. The private terrace with pool access is wonderful.
Amazing
Quiet serene place. Lovely long beach with corals and opportunities for swimming and snorkeling. Clean rooms. Beautiful landscape. Average buffet.
Very nice setting of hotel with well maintained outside areas and lots of bed chairs and space. Pleasant, helpful staff who genuinely wanted to ensure we were happy with our visit. Food and drink fine although limited experience as stay cut short due to Covid 19. Tired rooms in general certainly in East Wing but Villas very nice and if can afford to upgrade, go fo it as these we're vastly superior to anything we were shown in main hotel. Don't accept first room offered if not what you expected as hotel very good at offering us a choice. Would have been great to stay in villa for the week as own private garden area, loungers, pool and big bed room and lounge and bathroom. Added extras too like cool box on beach (with beers and soft drinks) and reserved loungers and speciality restaurant. Snorkelling OK but not as good as we have experienced in other areas of Red Sea. Felt safe and plan to return (to villa) once cover 19 sorted!!
It was so good
Swimmable beach, with few corrals, very friendly staff. Very strict security on the exterior gates. .....................................................................................................................................................................................................
Best beach in Makadi?
Excellent beach with a lot of sunbeds. Good snorkling just outside the beach. Nice garden and ok room. Restaurants can be a little overcrowded in high seasons. When we stayed there it was a big reconstruction of the pool area with a lor of noise. This should have been announced on the booking side since the noise was to high to be in at the pools.
Excellent on-site scuba company (iDive). Great access to house reef. When we arrived, we were put in a room that was far away from the beach but when we asked, the desk staff moved us immediately and easily. Food and drink choice is wide and very good. Have stayed here before and will stay again.
The beach is amazing. Food is great. Service is great, Reception team and restaurant staff are very professional. Overall the resort is beautiful and we had a great time. Only concern I had is that the reservation agent wanted to charge us extra fees because we are Egyptians though I was already charged by Travelocity and there is nothing on the website indicates that the rate is for non Egyptians only! Other than that everything was perfect.
Beautiful and fun!
Fort Arabesque is a beautiful place to stay. The food was great. The service was always kind and helpful. The snorkeling was unbelievable! I would recommend this wonderful resort to anyone.
Amazing Vacation!
I stayed at the Fort Arabesque for 5 nights with my wife and my son. Check in was super quick and easy, the front desk staff is very professional and well trained. We got upgraded for a family suite which was amazing! The rooms are spacious and very well located, close to beach and the pool. Housekeeping staff is doing a great job keeping the room clean on a daily basis. Restaurant staff is very helpful and they took care of a few concerns we had at the beginning, service is good and the food is great. We noticed that some reviewers experienced stomach issues , well, we ate all kinds of food at the restaurant and we had no issues whatsoever. Pool is ok, could use some floor renovations though but other than that it is good and clean. We had hard time at the beginning finding seats by the pool but we talked to the front desk staff and they took care of the problem in no time. Beach is beautiful, amazing corals for snorkeling lovers and u can see them right off of the sandy beach, no need to go deep in the water to see the fish. Both pool and beach guards are doing a great job keeping their eyes on the guests. Overall it was an amazing experience, we are going back in August. I highly recommend Fort Arabesque Resort to anyone who wants to spend a relaxing vacation.
Fun for a Week
Nice hotel. Good food. Unlimited bottle water. Beautiful grounds and a clean beach. Very popular with Europeans. Which meant 1. All prices were in Euros, but Egyptian Pounds were accepted. 2. There is A LOT of cigarette smoke, which as a non smoker made some areas unpleasant. There is an ATM at the hotel that dispenses Egyptian Pounds or exchange Euros/dollars for Egyptian Pounds to use out in town. On the grounds there are several activities to do like swim, sunbathe, snorkel/dive, and parasailing. Some are free, some cost extra. There are also tours you can take to Luxor. Off the grounds activities are limited. There are some more things to do up in Hurghada that is a 30-45 minute taxi/ shuttle drive.
housekeeping nightmare
i was intimidated by the housekeeper, he hovered around every day wanting more tips. the staff are more attentive to the regular holiday goers. the in hotel limousine service ripped me off, when booking trips and taxis.
Reception with a chip on their shoulder
We did not get the superior rooms as we had purchased. Superior rooms are supposed to be on high floors with Sea view. 2 of our rooms were on the 2nd floor with no sea view. I had booked 5 rooms and asked for these to be kept together 2 months before our stay and was asked to ask closer to the stay date. I asked closer to the stay date and rooms were scattered on various floors. Gymnasium, Spa and WiFi are additional charge (not so for many all inclusive resorts I have stayed at). Reception at the hotel were not at all welcoming and were not willing to listen to our requests. Dining area staff were very good and tried to attend to our needs. All other staff were friendly and helpful. On our final day we asked reception for a vegetarian breakfast box and got ham sandwiches.
Lovely atmosphere but tired & some silly elements
This hotel is very well laid out and spacious with the beach and swimming pools all within easy access .Staff are ok if a little grumpy at times and not very attentive compared to other hotels i have been too also the pools are quite tired and could do with a lick of paint and a tidy up , the other thing that is bad is you have to pay for wifi and the gym. Avoid the hotel taxi service and chemist and shops as they try to seriously over charge you . The spa is good and lovely salesmen and staff there .
Lovely Hotel right on the beach
Wonderful week, relaxing with a great snorkelling experience,Set in beautiful surroundings right by the sea. Comfortable sun loungers and towel service. Rooms spacious and spotless and service excellent. . We never go back to the same place but this was our second stay at this hotel and we will be going back next year.
Red Sea good for swimming, snorkelling & diving .
Hotel close to beach , food good , many new improvements under the influence of the manager. Enjoyable holiday but entertainment leaves a lot to be desired.
Relaxing beach break.
Fantastic beach, huge parasols, comfy sunbeds. We had great seaview, lots of space for hanging clothes etc. Large room. However, for me mattress far too firm. Asked but no mattress toppers available. Food ok but if vegetarian like me, choices limited and very repetituve. Drinks on all inclusive not great. Coke zero is the only diet drink available. No decaffeinated coffee. Staff generally helpful and friendly. Got a great deal through Expedia so cant complain but not sure we would return.
Beautiful grounds
We had to be moved rooms as soon as we arrived as the first three mornings we were woke up to the sound of builders on the next balcony!! They were using a tile cutter at 7:30am and because of the building work the lift (4th floor) was out of action so we're moved to the West wing, it is much quieter there. We were all Ill while there on and off the whole holiday with bad stomachs. The staff come across unfriendly at times but that might just be the language barrier. Club 159 is good, staff there seem much nicer and very accommodating. Had trouble with the wifi, but they changed their provider while we were there so that may be resolved now. The airport transfer driver drives at 120KM per hour and was on his mobile phone twice during the journey. Despite the fact that the room cleaners were much better at making towel animals than they were cleaning the room they badgered us constantly on the last day for a tip, at one point knocked on the door and walked in when we opened the door. There are not enough sun beds around the pool (despite there being plenty of space for more) and the music around the pools and at Club 159 is literally the same playlist every day! The singers in all the bars are terrible, apart from a couple of guys at Club 159, who were good. The buffet looks inviting but really is very repetitive (and we thought was where we all picked up a bug). We thought a mini golf course would be good there, there is certainly room in the grounds.
Good Hotel. We really enjoyed it.
The hotel is very nice and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is old furnitured, I believe it need renovation. The bars and restaurants are very clean the food is very good with a good variety of different types of food. They also have a food safety certificate. The beach is very good and clean. I have only two remarks; the housekeeping and in-room AC. The Housekeeping needs some improvements. In many occasions, I have to ask him to clean the mugs. I am not sure whether is happens with all guests or only Egyptians. The AC was too noisy and not cooling well. The hotel overall is good and we enjoyed a lot. I recommend it.
Need of improvement
The best part of the hotel is the beach with a coral reefs. Food was fine although plates weren't cleaned well. Animation team except for one guy is horrible. Overall: hotel needs some renovations and some staff training.
The beach and the coralreefs were great.
We looked for a great hotel with a great beach and coralreefs. The beach and the coralreefs were great. The hotel was older than marketing images show. The suite was though a bit disappointing, as it was old, and the terrace had broken things all around. The bathroom was big as promised, but why is the shower area so small you cannot move there. The food was a disappointment, as it was tasteless. At least salt, pepper and herbs and some spices could be used. The most disappointing thing was the staff. The car service was not at the airport and it is not nice to be alone in the dark not knowing what to do. The staff at the reception, most of the people, were unfriendly and a bit arrogant, and we have no idea why. When ordering room service, which is offered, we were either asked why not grab a bite at the pool snack bar... or our order did not come, or came after one hour. Sometimes we got half of the order. After 7 times in Egypt, this was a disappointment. We did enjoy sunny weather, great beach (and service there) and loved to photograph the coralreefs. The view from the terrace balcony was fantastic. But borken furniture was not nice.
Extremely relaxing and beautiful surroundings
Lovely resort on the reef.
Wonderful staff and hotel. Not ultrasmart but good facilities and excellent food. The rooms are large and comfortable with fresh flowers and kept spotless by staff. The most enjoyable feature is the long sandy beach where you can snorkel to the reef within a few yards. There is a Dive Centre on the beach with boats to the outer reef.
Nice grounds and waitstaff - that's it!
Immediately upon arrival my friends and I wanted to leave. The hotel has, at every angle, a way to hustle extra money from a guest's wallet. Airport transfers, room upgrades, beach activities... spend more, more, and still more. We were unable to relax on the sand at all due to people trying to sell this service or the other. On the other side of the coin, the grounds are immense and very well maintained. Our rooms were simple but gigantic and pretty nicely kept (we had basic rooms - no upgrades!). The cleaning crew and waitstaff were much more relaxed and friendly than other employees of the hotel. It is important to note that all prices are quoted in Euro.
Nice stuff nice animations team but the foods not good all the time and waifi not including
6th time at the Fort.
Very good value for money. The staff cannot do enough to make your stay comfortable, link this to a great location with great swimming and snorkelling from a brilliant beach. We are booked to return again in September and would recommend this location all - young and old ( we are 71 and 61) - families, couples and singles alike . This hotel represents all that is good with the Egyptian way of life and if its peace and tranquillity your looking for then look no further.
Lovely hotel on the beach
Lovely hotel with friendly helpful staff. Beach Bar was one of our favourite places with good food and coffee. The reef is yards from the beach so great for young families as parents can access easily for snorkelling . Good entertainment and activities. We look forward to returning.
Nice hotel for snorkling and diving
Nice, clean hotel and although it is a Saga hotel, not all customers are over 50! The reef is straight off the beach and was in a surprisingly good condition. Dive centre, IDive, which is located in the West Wing of the hotel are very good and know their stuff. Food does get a little samey, but there is a good selection and tasty. The rooms were clean and tidy, although there are signs it is starting to need a little TLC. Evening entertainment is not so great as the singers have a 'unique' style!! Would be happy to go back here, staff were always very helpful and friendly
An ideal place for families with kids
It is an ideal place to go for a family with kids, everything is there and close by, the beach, the restaurant, the playground, the kids club and the swimming pool. Life is very easy there what makes you enjoying your stay. Prices are very fair and we booked the all inclusive formula. We will certainly go back soon!
All about the beach
4th visit to the Fort and again very enjoyable. Check in was quick and without fuss, given a room in the quieter west wing as requested, room large with 2 king size beds, bathroom, safe, fridge replenished daily with water and soft drinks as part of the all inclusive, and cleaned daily with the usual towel art near to departure. No free wifi in the hotel you have to pay and at times can be very slow, wifi in most hotels now is standard and usually free and maybe something the hotel can review. Food good wont go hungry good selection typical all inclusive caters for all nationalities. The west wing bar area of an evening at times it feels as though you are ignored whilst other guests have no problems getting served. We did notice that guests are also placing jackets over the limited seating and going to dinner, like placing a towel on the beach and returning later. This was ignored by the bar staff. This cannot be said of the east wing bar staff were service is 1st class. The beach is the selling point of this hotel with numerous fish and corals. The beach staff work hard keeping the beach clean and tidy. There are canoes and windsurfers free to use and a great way to explore the bay. All in all the food is good, the rooms are clean, comfy and big, the beach, corals and fish are amazing and the sun is always shinning.
Big hotel with personal feel
At at time when Egypt has probably been crossed off most holidaymakers destinations of choice I feel for the staff of hotels like this who were polite and attentive without being intrusive. Clearly they work hard to maintain the huge grounds right next to the sea and the coral reef that is literally 2 meters into the sea off the hotel's own beach. Our standard room was huge - 2 king size beds, balcony with sea view, blessed with thorough cleaning staff. We would be very happy to return should the political climate allow. Snorkelling on the reef was something that made you feel you were in a David Attenborough or Jacques Cousteau documentary, spent literally hours completely fascinated by the sight of so many fish.
Very nice hotel with a lovely beach
A lovely hotel , friendly and helpful staff, comfortable and clean rooms. Food of a good standard. Not the best for evening entertainment , however at the end of the day it's what you make it and we did enjoy it. Day time activities if you want them but we preferred to be on the beach and enjoy the snorkelling taking the opportunity to see a wide variety of fish and admire the beauty of the coral.
Very pleasing hotel with attentive staff good reefs and fish variety
Nice, relaxing hotel perfect for beach holiday
Me and my husband we had a very nice relaxing holiday in Fort Arabesque.Very well kept gardens, long sandy beach, good for snorkeling, planty of sunbeds. We had amazing suit with spectaculair view to the sea and a hudge terasa. We went for all inclusive and didn't disapointed:all soft drinks and bear in cans so you can take with you, food was also good, specialy griled sea bass.We had amazing day trip to Luxor, very worth to visit.
Euuu
Pools are olddd v.old allhotel guests are olders than 60 the food is v.bad location v.far , i stayed in private villa and i cant enjoy my shesha i the villa terrace ? They told as 1600 pounds for extra person for hall atay . When we made the cheack out they said 1600 per night . Staff are rude little bit , for ordering ice it will take maybe 30 to 40 minutes
a very nice family vacation
our stay was a family vacation, this is our second stay at the hotel, as usual it was a wonderful stay where evrbody was friendly and attentive to our requests
family, friends trip
one of the most amazing hotels I've been to in Egypt. don't think twice..
nice hotel and fabulous beach.
quick check-in and very friendly stuff and animation team and nice facilities.
Fair
The Hotel location is somehow far from city centre, Food can be more rich, staff is very good, rooms are clean, Beach is very long,Bikes service need to be enhanced or to be cancelled as there is only 1 bike for adult and 1 for kids with very bad condition.
Awesome vacation
I liked everything in the resort. I will come back definitely.
nice hotel close to beach
Been to this hotel three times now, lovely staff, large rooms, excellent for snorkelling, close to beach and diveing with hotels dive centre. Wife enjoys relaxing near pools while i go off and snorkel. A lot of SAGA guests use this hotel for a month at a time so it must be ok. Lots of different nationalitys use this hotel but my wife always finds somebody to talk to.
Great location, facilities, experience
We had kids of 5 to 8 years olds. Everyone had great time. Best thing about this place is the setting along a nice sandy beach with amazing coral riffs all over the place. Like diving in a fish tank. Fish was just ignoring us. Nice hotel grounds, facilities. On site diving centre with friendly staff and house riff (no need to take boats anywhere). Creative if not very refined entertainment team, although might not be to the taste of some. We all enjoyed the food and the selection, although it did't vary day to day too much. I personally liked water sports activities area on site, allowing guests to take kayaks and windsurfs free. The guy who manages it was not too good or willing at teaching wind-surging, but that's what you get for free.
Nice hotel, friendly staff, delicious food.
Hotel has nice beach. Free airport shuttle very helpful. Pavillion restaurant serves high quality food.
others hotels in makadi better than this hotel
only the beach is the good thing in this hotel ,very beautiful coral reef, staff is rude, not professional ,hotel in the middle of desert , alot of better hotels near by, i would not stay here again
Great value for money for an amazing holiday
Eccellent place for an excellent holiday. Pros: clean, friendly staff, lots of choices of food although the quality coul be slightly improved. The garden is amazingly beautiful, the beach is clean big and lots of space between each other; the sea is absolutely stunning, corals just few meters away do you do not need to take the boat to do some good snorkelling. Cons: smoking policy should be tightened, especially in the indoor areas such as the arena and the restaurant.
A comfortable hotel in an oasis
We had a warm welcome, nothing was too much trouble for the staff, they just wanted us to enjoy our stay. The gardens are well tended and the landscaping is perfect, our beach was the envy of Makadi Bay with clear water and beautiful fish and corals within snorkelling distance of the beach. The all inclusive package works very well and there was a very good selection of food from appetising buffets. We hope to return!
Very good
We went for an all inclusive hotel/beach break... and were not disappointed! Each aspect was covered well and we even were blessed with great weather. Staff very friendly & helpful, transfers personal & on time, room large and kept very clean, bottled water & juice re stocked evey day, food good even if repeatative. The gardens are huge and kept very, very clean as was the beach. (Fresh beach towels available every day)Yes we found the beds firm and the pillows lumpy but.... We imagine it will be very busy peak season so our March visit was great. So if you want the type of holiday we had we have no hesitation in recommending it! (There were many returning guests).
Great location!
Lovely hotel complex with sprawling, well kept gardens right on the sandy beaches of Mikadi Bay. An ideal getaway for some winter sun.
Fort Arabesque
Great hotel with its own beach - excellent for snorkeling and diving. Good staff
A lovely hotel with a coral reef & spacious garden
A very pleasant hotel set in verdant gardens (a contrast with the neighbouring desert) with a golden sand beach stretching out into a coral reef. Good food, excellent service and lots of space for everyone. Quieter than some hotels and this gives the chance to truly relax. Great for a week of sun and chilling.
Lovely Holiday
We stayed here for the first week in February and can highly recommend it as an all round good resort and hotel for this time of year! The weather was perfect (between 26 and 30 degrees) and the hotel was situated in a lovely bay right on the beach - we couldn't have asked for more!
Nice hotel
I loved it... it is great hotel for couples or family i will go back again to the same hotel....every one works there were friendly and helpful..... the beach and garden are amazing.....
An excellent place if you like the sea!
A beautiful hotel with excellent staff who couldn't do enough for us. The reef is just magical, full of colourful fish and coral, and well looked after compared to other reefs in the area. The food is OK and quite varied. If your priorities are swimming, diving and a bit of time out on the beach this is the perfect place!
Very relaxed atmosphere
We were probably in the lower 10 percent age-wise at this hotel but as a result it was fairly quiet, there is plenty of space on the beach and the reef is right there, just yards off the beach. There was not much to do in the evenings but then again an early night is good for you on holiday.
good ,,relax holiday
was nice and relax ,,but not satisfy with restaurant service
Excellent Hotel, Great Food, Superb Location
Two adults and two teenagers stayed for 2 weeks, was given a room upgrade to an Apartment and WOW WHAT A ROOM (444), 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large living room, 2 fridges, 2 safes, 3 T.Vs and 3 patio doors leading onto a huge balcony with the most perfect sea view. We ate in the West Wing restaurant most evenings and having visited Egypt some 20 plus times the food is by far the best yet, always hot, beautifully cooked and could not be faulted in any way, the other restaurant in the East Wing was the same quality just a little busier at meal times. The beach bar again food very good for snacks during the day. Drinks both alcoholic and soft again cannot be faulted although one slight critiscm is some of the bar staff in the East wing could be a little more customer focused in their attitude but this is only a small minority and generally the staff throughout the hotel were very good especially the beach guys who work very hard. The room was cleaned daily and without fault, fridge restocked with soft drinks and water as part of the All Inclusive package. The best facility this hotel has is its location on a beautiful beach with the most amazing coral reef within a few steps from the shore, safe for children and adults and can only be described as a breathtaking array of fish and coral. We did a trip booked through Adam who works for Idive located on the beach and again the service and quality cannot be faulted. Best hotel we have stayed in and will return soon, SHUKRAN.
hotel is not as good as I expected
Actually, I regret to stay in this hotel. Firstly, when I arrived at the airport, I phoned the hotel to pick me up, and the reception suggested me to take a taxi. And when I check out, they also suggest me to take a taxi. But airport shuttle was included in my booking! After bargaining, they finally agreed to send me to hotel, but when I reached at the airport, the driver asked me for money, but I only give him 20 EGP as tips. Secondly, communication with the employees were not easy, it seems they all speak Russion rather than English. Thirdly, the facilities in the hotel were really not as good as expected. Any how, I will not stay in this hotel if I visit Hurghada again.
Hotel trick
After arraival I discoverd the bad trick, the hotel is devided to three different parts, two of them(villas and suites) are new, nice and clean. The previous parts are shown in the photos on the website to attract people booking at the hotel,so after check in I got one of the old rooms at the old section of the hotel(room+furniture+bathroom+ Room position were totally horrible) even the restaurants and the reception is totally deffirent as shown on the internet. After a big fight with the manager I could change my room to a better one!!! Even though I don't recommend people to go there cause in my opinion they lost there credibility.
Good Value Hotel
Nice beach, OK food, spacious rooms, friendly service except for the reception
A Hotel build around a Coral Reef
Very pleasent experience, The hotel offers nice facilities and large recreation areas. The restaurants offered a variety of tasty food. The Night animation was enjoyable and for all ages.
Family spring break in the Red Sea
The room (standard family) overall clean and functional, a bit disappointing considering reviews. Showed signs of age (tube TV, a few working channels, basic bathroom, ancient fridge). Could use a good refresh. Two queen beds, small sofa, 2 tables and decent size balcony was ok for our family of 4 (2 kids < 10y). Other rooms were better: the hotel tries hard to sell you an upgrade, that's all part of the game... The structure was very well kept: lots of gardens and pools, large maintenance crew everywhere. Pools could use cleaning, it was hard to see the bottom in the only heated one.. Nice pool bar. Beach is the highlight: great and well organized: plenty of towels every day, lot of individual space, constant cleaning, wind screens. etc. Get there early in the morning to get a good spot, but that's usual in these resorts. Compared to nearby hotels, the beach was much better and less crowded Food ok, matched expectations for an all-inclusive resort. Decent variety, primarily catering to Italian & German tourists. Branded soft drinks, local spirits (ok quality), good espresso coffee at the bars, bottled water everywhere, etc. Entertainment matched expectations: mini-club for kids, water sports (sailboat, canoe, windsurfs) included, usual set of sports & activities (beach volley, beach soccer, bocce, darts,..) with a friendly crew of Italians (from Francorosso) trying hard to get you involved without being overly annoying. Overall positive, considering returning
Vivement recommandé!
Hotel paradisiaque, service exceptionnel, personnel aux petits soins. Végétation luxuriante, que du bonheur! Fonds marins exceptionnels à quelques mètres de la plage.
Very nice Resort.
Hervorragendes Hotel

Wonderful stay. Immaculate hotel, lots of food choices and plenty to do. Beach is great, you can spend days just snorkelling in the bay! Only downside - like most places in Egypt - is the constant sales pestering, but they are polite when you turn them away. The hotel is making loads more upgrades too, so will definitely return!
