We loved staying with Elena at Fiorezia. Bedroom and bath we're roomy and clean. Breakfast was delicious and Elena was helpful showing us how to catch the bus to get to town. This was our favorite stay after 2-1/2 weeks in Italy.

The property was WONDERFUL. The owner is great. Room very large and clean. Breakfast DELICIOUS! Elina, the owner really took care of us while we stayed here. She even provided laundry services! The only downside is its a bit out of the city so be prepared to take the local bus for about 10 min, but tickets are cheap - 1.5 euro!

Pleasant villa near city

Elena is an excellent hostess. The villa is beautiful; we wish we had more time to relax and enjoy the gardens. The breakfast was excellent (eggs, yogurt, fruit, cereals, pastries, coffee, juice). The room and bathroom was spacious and very clean. The beds were a bit firm for us, but after a long day of walking around Florence, I still slept fine. The wifi worked great. The villa sits on a small hill, so those who don't like a bit of a walk might prefer a different location. Rooms and breakfast area are on the 2nd floor, with about 30 steps to climb. I liked the fact that it was quiet and out of the busy city center. It was easy to get into and back from the city center on the #11 bus; the stop was a 5-minute walk from the villa. There was a few restaurants nearby, about a 10-minute walk. The pizza place that Elena recommended was very good. A McDonald's was just past that (we realized later, but wouldn't have gone there anyway). Area seemed quiet and safe, but we tried not to stay out too late. Overall, it was a delightful place to stay and I would recommend it.

Hope to return again in the near future.

Essential Florence

We did five days in Florence and as amazing as the city is it always felt good to come back to the B&B. To rest and recharge, eat some good food and soak up that last century charm of the spotless and beautifully furnished villa. And THAT garden! Short bus hop from Porta Romana and down town it felt lucky to us. Elena is lucky to have it and we felt lucky to be able to share it. Thank you Elena. Peter and Kathy

Relax In Florence

The best B&b we had in Italy. Elena is a very nice host. She makes you feel home. She was here when we arrive and leave. She cooks breakfast every morning, can do also your laundry, give you a lot of information about Florence and the area. Her house is far from the quietness of Florence but close to walking distance. It s was relax to stay overthere, I ll be back.

We had a great stay at Fiorenza! Elena was very welcoming! We felt like we were at home! Very clean and tidy, great breakfast, and close to the bus station, although its a pleasant walk down hill to the city center! Would stay here again! Elena was also helpful with recommendations of where to eat and things to do.

This is the best B&B we have stayed in anywhere. The place is charming, the breakfast was delicious and the staff were perfect. Elena went above and beyond the call of duty spending literally hours helping me with a problem with travel issues. There is a nearby bus stop and you can even walk to the city if you are keen.

Great B&B

We enjoyed our stay at this B&B run by Elena. She was very helpful & friendly, recommending restaurants, advising on bus routes and suggesting the places to visit. The breakfasts were great with freshly made pastries, croissants and cakes as well as cereal, yoghurts and fruit. The rooms were clean & tidy and warm. There was no problem parking in road, we left car there for our stay as it was nice to walk into the centre.

A diamond in the rough

Two months later and we are still talking about our stay at Fiorenza B&B. When we arrived it was like meeting good friends. Even though we had never met. Elena provided us with very useful information on where to dine and how to get around in Florence. Our 6 days in Florence will forever be linked to Elena's graceful hosting. The room is so cute - beautifully decorated in an older house. The owner was so nice - even had her dad park my car since I couldn't in the small spot. The room was quiet with a garden outside, but walking distance to downtown. The breakfast was amazing. Loved everything about this place.

Modena gracious hospitality

Our host Elena welcoming, very very helpful with city maps, attractions, bus schedules, and dining at local spots. Her home is in a upscale residential neighborhood 3 minutes walk to bus stop, then 10 minute ride to city center. Rooms and bathroom are large, comfortable and spotless, quiet for sleeping. Breakfast is fabulous; hearty local fruits, yogurts, cooked to order eggs; and lively friendly conversations with Elena!

Beautiful B&B just outside the walls

This beautiful, quaint Bed & Breakfast is a short 10 minute bus ride to the City Walls of Florence. The bus stop is just two blocks from the B&B, which is situated on a dead end street. Very quiet and peaceful. We rented a car from the airport and drove to Fiorenza B&B but we did not want the hassle of driving within the city walls. The bus was perfect and easy. We even walked into the city one day. The owner, Elena, met us as we arrived, providing us with a map, handwritten notations, restaurant recommendations and site recommendations. Our room was very spacious. Plenty of room to move around. The bathroom was also spacious with a large shower and heated towel rack. Elena made the visit exceptional. We made the mistake of not exchanging currency before our arrival at the B&B and the nearest place to obtain a bus ticket had closed for the day. Elena provided us with two bus tickets and 20 Euros to get us started into Firenze. We did pay her back of course but her offering those items to us is what sets her place apart from many others. Although I am not a breakfast eater, my husband is and he very much enjoyed the lovely items Elena had for breakfast, evening cooking you fresh eggs if that was your request. It was nice to sit in the kitchen, where she had the tables lovingly decorated and talk with her over cups of her delicious coffee. I would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone visiting Firenze.

Great Host!

Oasis in Florence

This is a perfect place to stay if you want to be away from the bustle of Florence. It is only blocks away from the city perimeter. Elena is a gracious hostess. It is quiet and lush in the neighborhood.

Exellent value for money B&B

Elena was a helpful and friendly host. Her breakfasts were great and the room was faultless. Bus no 11 took us to the bottom of the road and the city centre is 15 minutes. The area is quiet and we slept very well. The villa is very well maintained with a beautiful garden.

Casa Away From Casa - Home Away From Home

From the moment our host Elena opened the door we felt right at home. She gave us transportation tips, insider dining info and she even did a load of our laundry. The room itself was very clean and the air conditioning was fantastic. The breakfasts were great. We loved Florence and staying at this B&B made our visit even better and more memorable.

Rated number 2 B/B for a reason.

Easy walk to bus stop, local food and wine. Inn keeper and entire family were professional and easy to accommodate our needs. Our room was very clean and the entire house as well. Lovely outdoor sitting area to enjoy wine after visiting town. Parking was easy and the daily breakfast was always great. You can not go wrong staying here. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and would be our number one pick for future stays. GPS also found on first try.

Bnb that felt welcoming and non touristy

This stay was great. Elena and her mother were charming , kind and helpful. So happy to help and advise. All meal recommendations great. Totally endorse staying with them in this district away from tourist hoards, better priced and much more enjoyable . The BnB is sited In a pretty area, an elegant home that has been renovated to suit a BnB. The rooms are spacious and welcoming with an opportunity to go outside to a large garden if you wanted to. Elena provides a healthy, varied breakfast herself and it just feels like a home away from home. We really enjoyed it here and would certainly return Thank you!!!

A lovely room in an attractive building with beautiful garden. Very attentive owner who served a wonderful breakfast and nothing was too much trouble for her. Very quiet location a mile or so from the city centre but with good transport links into town. Very good value that would be hard to beat!

Lovely B&B

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Fiorenza B&B this spring. The room was a good size, clean, pleasantly decorated, and very comfortable. The bathroom was a good size also, with a large shower. Our host, Elena, spoke English, and was very helpful. Breakfast was good and Elena was kind enough to meet individual diet needs. The B&B is in the Olfrano section across the Arno from the main attractions of Florence, a short bus ride. The local bus was just a short walk - about 5 minutes. We highly recommend the Fiorenza and would choose to stay there again.

Beautiful stay in Florence

We had a lovely stay in Florence at Fiorenza b and b. Elena was such a gracious hostess. She had a map premade up for us with recommended restaurants, bus routes, etc. all neatly layer out for us. Our room was spacious and since she is about two miles from the city center, it was very quiet. Convenient bus lines connect you to the Florence city center in minutes. Or, if you like walking, it was a pleasant and beautiful walk as well. Elena's breakfasts were the best we had in Italy. She made us quiche one morning, and scrambled eggs another, and that was on top of her normal very delicious offerings. Thank you Elena! We highly recommend Fiorenza b and b.

Elena is the best!

We decided to saty with Elena and loved everything about our stay. The rooms, bathrooms, and common areas are very clean and well maintained. For breakfast we had freshly baked croissants, made to order cappuccinos and a lot of other goodies. Elena's recommendations for shopping and dining were really good. Our baggage was delayed by Alitalia, Elena did everything she could in order to stay in touch with the airline until our baggage was delivered to us. We are really happy we stayed here and can't wait to visit Elena again!

Exceptional B & B

Florenza lived up to my high expectations. Elena was an exceptional host, immediately making us feel at home and offering help for any question or concern. The property is lovely and our room was regal: spacious, comfortable, beautifully decorated. The bath was clean and modern. Breakfast was a special treat: homemade cakes and other sweets, scrambled eggs offered daily and outstanding coffee. Taking the bus into the city center was easy, and Elena made sure we knew when the next bus was scheduled and where to find bus stops for our return. Staying at Florenza was the best part of visiting Florence.

A Quiet Residence Away From the Crowds

Our room was comparatively large, with a sofa and chair to relax in. Comfortable bed, hot water and plenty of it for the shower, clean, and a fine breakfast every morning (always with an additional special item Elena would make). Elena made our stay a pleasure. Bus service near by to take us into "downtown". ATM, gelato, bars, also close. Typical street parking we had no problem, within 3-4 car lengths daily, but late evening parking could be difficult to find. We enjoyed our stay at Fiorenza and would stay there again. Great Host

We had a really memorable and enjoyable stay at Fiorenze B&B. The room we had was beautifully furnished and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was very well laid out with a great shower. We really enjoyed the breakfasts in the lovely kitchen breakfast room overlooking the garden. However the best part of our three day stay was the fantastic personal service that the owner Elena offered to all of us staying in her home whilst we were there. It was a pity we had to leave to make our way back to NZ as we would loved to have stayed longer to see more of Florence and spend more time at Fiorenze B&B and enjoy more of Elena's hospitality.

Wonderful stay in quiet part of Florence

We had a wonderful stay at Fiorenza B&B. Elena is terrific, giving helpful information on how to navigate Florence. The room was quite large and clean. Breakfast was one of the best I've had at a B&B/hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who likes the idea of being outside of the touristy part of Florence. It was a pleasant 25 minute walk into the center, although we could have taken the bus....but it was nice to walk by the gardens and little shops.

Favorite place to stay in Florence

This was our favorite stay in Florence. My wife and I were originally planning to stay in Florence for two days, and so the first place we stayed at was a hotel in the city center. Plans changed, and we wanted to stay in a place a little bit outside of the city center for the rest of our visit. We both wished we had gotten to stay at Fiorenza B&B for the entire trip. Even with the amazing reviews already, this B&B exceeded our expectations. The owner, Elena, was so helpful and friendly! When we arrived, it was just about dinner time and we were both starving. She recommended a little pizzeria (Il Pipistrello) a few blocks away that was AMAZING. Back to the B&B: the beds were comfortable, the bedroom and bathroom were spacious, the breakfasts were delicious, and the entire property was both immaculate and beautiful. The only downside was the distance from the city center, but both my wife and I welcomed the change of pace. We will definitely be staying here again if we every get the opportunity to revisit Florence. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Best BnB EVER !

We have stayed at many BnB's around the world for decades, so when we say it was the best ever we do not say it without a great deal of forthought! The directions were exexcellent , the bed VERY comfortable, food was unparalleledand better then most quality restaurants. The most endearing factor, however, was our hostess, Elena. She went so far beyond the usual that it is impossible for us not to remain friends for many years and visits to come.The gardens around the house were amazing. Tended by Elela's mother they are picturesque and were in several locations. A terrace view, a garden view, another hide away in front. Everything was so calming and quiet. A close walk To the bus stop and you are only a short bus ride to the main old city. Near her home are numerous restaurants but our favourite thing was getting dinner and wine from a local store/deli and eating in her garden. It was our 25th wedding anniversary while we were there and when we got back to the room there was 25 elegant roses in a vase waiting to greet us.Each breakfast was fantastic and included quiche, fresh croissants, yogurt, fruit (baked apples), wonderful sweets, and incredible Espresso.We can't wait to come back!

Stay in the Fiorenza - satisfaction guaranteed

We stayed for 5 nights with Elena in her wonderful house in a beautifully leafy part of Florence. It was a brilliant base to explore Florence and a peaceful haven to escape too from the bustle of the city. The pleasant walk in to the centre and all the attractions took about 25 minutes through the Oltrarno district of the city close to the Boboli Gardens and the Pitti Palace. Alternatively just catch a no 11 bus from numerous stops in the centre and it's a 10-15 minutes trip. We were satisfied with every aspect of our stay - tastefully decorated and clean room with ensuite, comfy bed, fantastic breakfasts with different surprises every day and of course, Elena, who is so welcoming and thoughtful with great advice on what to do and see. Add to this a beautiful garden to relax in after a long sightseeing day and you have the perfect accomodation for Florence. You will not be dissapointed! Thanks Elena.

Florence B & B, great hostess

The hostess 'Elena' made us feel most welcome and was very professional in her manner. She speaks fluent English and the breakfast is super. The No.11 bus can be caught from the Fiorenza Station to the B & B, takes 10-15 min then short walk 400m to B.B. Buses run frequently until late at night which is convenient if eating out in town.

Our BEST stay in Italy. A real gem.

We stayed at three different places while we were in Italy. This had by far the most comfortable bed, the best shower and the best breakfast. The owner of the B&B was extremely friendly and so helpful -had guides to hand and recommended places to go, marking them on a map infront of us and had excellent local knowledge. I honestly dont think there's anything that she could have done to make our stay better -she even made our breakfast extra early for us on a day when we had a tour booked. Our room had been personally decorated and was so clean. Everything about the place was beautiful. I can't say enough good things about it. If you go to Florence; stay here.

Great small B&B, best of our trip

Elena is a wonderful host. Very good English, outgoing with good advice and directions. Rooms are clean and spacious. European mattresses take a little getting used to. Great neighborhood....but quite a walk from restaurants or downtown. Get a bus ticket or rent a car - bus stop and car rental are 2 blocks away. Book early, she fills up in the late spring and summer. We are B&B owners and we were impressed!

Ruhig in einer Sackgasse gelegen. Parken in bzw. rund um die Sackgasse möglich. Ca. 5 Min. zur Bushsltestelle (mit Bus C11 gelangt man gut zum Dom, Brücke, Museen 2,50 EUR pro Person. B&B liegt im oberen Stockwerk. Schöner grosser Garten mit Sitzmöglichkeiten. Unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig und gemütlich eingerichtet. Elena ist eine sehr nette und bemühte Gastgeberin. Frühstück war lecker und liebevoll vor-/zubereitet.

Zeer vriendelijke host, Elena. De kamer is groot en voorzien van alle gemakken (eigen badkamer, groot tweepersoonsbed). Met de bus (bushalte op loopafstand) ben je in 10 minuten bij de Ponte Vecchio. Lopend is dit 25 a 30 minuten. Aanrader voor een verblijf in Florence.

Sehr nette Gastgeberin, die zusätzlich tolle Tipps für Florenz gibt. Liegt nicht direkt in der Innenstadt. Busanbindung funktioniert aber gut. Wer es gerne privat und persönlich mag, ist in der 3 Zimmer-Unterkunft gut aufgehoben.

Etablissement au top avec une hôte formidable

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Elena qui est très accueillante et souriante, aux petits soins pour que l'on ne manque de rien. La chambre est spacieuse et très propre, la literie très confortable et le ménage est fait chaque jour. Le petit-déjeuner est très copieux et adapté à nous obligations et/ou envies. Le logement est bien situé dans une résidence calme, à 15/15 min d'un arrêt de bus pour se rendre dans le centre de Florence. Nous avons eu un petit cadeau lors de notre départ.. très touchant.

Outstanding value for money

Outstanding value for money. Elegant room, clean and tidy. Much more than simple Italian breakfast. We made Fiorenza a base for our journeys around every day, to Lukka, Siena, Pistoia, San Gimignano, Chianti, Florence, etc. We had very good support on all our tourist needs from very sympathetic owner. We recommend Fiorenza for sure.

Ein angenehmer Aufenthalt

Meine Frau und ich waren sehr zufrieden mit unserer Wahl! Elena war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vom Haus zur Bushaltestelle ins Zentrum von Florenz läuft man nur 5 min. Die Verfügbarkeit von Parkplätzen ist knapp, aber Elena konnte helfen. In der Hochsaison ist das sicher schwieriger.

A tout point de vue ce B&B pourrait servir d'école pour ceux qui souhaite se lancer dans cette activité... Chambre charmante et confortable, quartier très calme. L’hôte Helena d'une rare gentillesse est quasi bilingue Francais-Italien et prodigue d'excellents conseils au voyageur. Le petit déjeuner est très bon avec notamment des brochettes de fruits frais. Bien qu'un peu excentré du centre ville, il est à moins de 5 minutes d'un bus qui est lui même à moins de 10 minutes du centre ville. Flo et Sam

Rustige B&B

Heel vriendelijke ontvangst met heel goede uitleg over bus naar Ponte Vecchia (15 minuten) en looproute (30 minuten) naar Ponte Vecchia. Goede informatie over restaurants buiten het toeristisch centrum en over mogelijkheid kant en klaar maaltijden op te halen, die in de keuken van de B&B kunnen opgewarmd worden. Ook een Nespressoapparaat met cups aanwezig. Heel rustige omgeving, echt aan te bevelen.

Elena and her Mom are quite helpful for the new comer to Ferenza like us, nice breakfast made by Elena, and really appreciate their support during our staying there especially the home doctor part, not difficult to go to town center by bus 11/36/37, just minutes to get to the bus station

피렌체 외곽 조용한 마을에 자동차로 도착했다. 대문 옆에 Fiorenza라고 작게 명패가 달려있으니 주의깊게 살펴보면 어렵지 않게 찾을 수 있다. 가방을 끌고 걸어온 사람들이라면 언덕이 부담스러울지도 모른다. 호스트 엘레나는 지금껏 만났던 가장 친절하고 상냥한 호스트였다. 엘레나를 만나자 마자 더이상 질문이 필요없었다. 지도를 펴고 아주 자세하고 친절하게 피렌체 시내로 나가는 방법, 돌아오는 방법, 방문할만한 트라토리아, 오스테리아, 피렌체 중앙시장의 먹을 거리, 숙소 이용 방법 등 모든 내용을 알기 쉽게 설명해주었고 마음이 편해졌다. 집 시설도 아주 훌륭했다. 깨끗한 시설과 침구, 조용한 환경. 뒤뜰의 정원에서 보낸 아침 시간도 평화롭고 즐거웠다. 리클라이너에 앉아 쉬면서 가장 평화로운 휴식시간을 보낸 것 같다. 조식도 환상적이었다. 엘레나가 직접 만들어준 커피와 스크램블 에그, 브루스케타와 파이 모두 조화롭고 맛있었다. 체크아웃을 하면서 차를 숙소 앞에 두고 피렌체에 다시 다녀오려는데 그 날이 한 달에 하루 뿐인 동네 청소일이라면서 몇 시 경에 차를 빼야 좋을지도 알려주었다. 숙소에 책을 두고 왔었는데 돌아와서 다시 쉽게 찾았다. 아름다운 피렌체의 기억은 이 숙소에서 시작되었던 것 같다. 특히 조용한 휴식을 좋아하는 커플에 추천하며 다시한번 호스트 엘레나에게 감사를 전한다.

It Is a nice Family ran Hotel. Close to downtown. It takes about 25 Minutes to go to Ponte Vechino.
