Very nice trip

The stay was awesome. Had a great time there. The meal was so good and sight seeing in the town was great 🆒We’ll go back again!!!

It is very close to everything we wanted to see in Shipshewana.

The Farmstead In was very nice.

It was a lovely, comfortable hotel. The staff was amazing! Welcoming, warm and friendly. The common area was well appointed and comfortable. The rooms were clean. Two recliner chairs in the room was a very nice surprise and lovely to relax in.

Excellent stay

Very clean room. There were 5 of us. More than enough room. Buffet breakfast was ok. Very quiet.

We stay in Shipshewana a lot but this was our first time at the Farmstead. Check-in was quick and easy. We were located the last room before the breakfast buffet and pool and thought it might be noisy, but it wasn't. Very spacious room. The mattress was hard, so if you like a firm mattress, room 121 would be for you! Breakfast was a short hot buffet with a few items there, plus a full array of things like bread for toasting, bagels, cereal, waffle makers, pancake maker, muffins, milk, chocolate milk, coffee, etc, etc. Many options. We did not use the pool but did get in the hot tub one night. We were in town for a concert at the Blue Gate PAC and this hotel is about two buildings over to the north. Very convenient. Could walk it in good weather. We would definitely stay here again.

The room need some cosmetic updates. The bathroom was handicap accessible and the bar next to the toilet was glued back on, but still dangling. There were a couple of tiles missing on the exterior of the shower. Outlets for charging phones aren't easily reachable and they could be updated to be on the lamps. The rooms could use some color to them. Lastly, the smell of propane hits you the moment you step inside and permeates the whole lobby and surrounding area. On the positive side, the hotel looks cozy from the outside and the lobby area. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location was central.to.most of the shopping and restaurants.

Very clean and quiet and comfortable place to stay.

Met our children there to celebrate Christmas. Loved walking to town under the beautiful Christmas lights. The Grandkids enjoyed the pool,hot tub and being able to play basketball with Grandpa. Staff was very friendly and the whole experience helped us make wonderful memories.

The staff were so nice. Our room was super clean. We were 1 minute from town.

Check in desk clerk was excellent. Very helpful in explaining everything we’ve needed to know. Room is spotless and bed was comfortable. Would definitely stay again and recommend it to friends!

Way too expensive

This is one of our favorite hotels in the area. It is beautiful inside and has so many cozy sitting areas. The recreational areas are amazing for both young and old alike. The only thing that may improve this property is proper pressure washing services on the sidewalks.

The hotel and area was beautiful. The bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was better than most hotels.

When I took a shower, there were long black hairs on the wall. Disgusting. I have short white hair. When I told the front desk and showed them a picture of it, they just shrugged and said they would talk to housekeeping. Didn’t seem to really care.

It was extremely clean. Everything in the town closes early so plan to spend evenings in your room.

The only thing we didn’t like was the breakfast. It was similar to many hotel chains and we had expected better given it was a better class of hotel.

Loved the corner room #210. Watched the sunrise. Close to everything at Shipshewana.

This area is a favorite quick get away spot for my husband and I. Close, but still far enough away. This hotel is always clean and comfortable with an amazing breakfast! Beds are really comfy too. The only negative for us this stay was the shower head seemed extra low in the wall of the shower.

One of the cleanest if not the cleanest motel/hotel we've ever stayed in.

All positive, with the exception of the ice maker across the hall from my room. Not only was it loud when guests were getting ice, it was always loud as it was making and dropping ice.

Friendly and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast! Very clean not just the room but the entire hotel. Will definitely stay again!

Quaint Get-Away

We had a wonderful, relaxing, and quiet stay. The breakfast was great and the staff was very helpful.

This is one of the cleanest hotels we have ever stayed in.

Slow WiFi. Toilet space in bathroom uncomfortable. Overall room was very nice.

Our granddaughter loved the pool and hot tub. Room was clean and comfortable. Pretty setting. Loved fall decorations especially haystacks.

Very nice and clean. Management very professional. Probably could do better with having snacks available after hours, especially since all the stores are closed by 9:00 PM (on Saturday) including restaurants or fast food outlets.

We stay here every year for equestrian shows. Pool/hot tub is always clean, rooms are always clean, breakfast is always good.

You people lied to us

The only thing I did not like was we came back to the hotel late at night and I passed the road3 times due to no lighting at all. It’s set back off the main road several 1000 feet and could not see it in the dark. The whole town was that way.

The room are clean and spacious. Beds are comfortable. The sitting areas and hotel in general are beautiful. The food is great! The area is beautiful as well with lots to see and do. Overall a great place! 5 stars. Highly recommend staying here when in Shipshewana.

This was our second stay at the Farmstead Inn. Clean, quiet, pool is warm, great hot tub. Love the breakfast in the morning. By far the best breakfast I’ve had at a hotel.

I've stayed here several times and I just love it. The pool is great and the hot tub is great. The rooms are very large and spacious and it's very quiet.

Could really need a good pool cleaning and some maintenance to the hot tub it’s really bad!

Beautiful Property and very peaceful. Walking distance to most activities. We stay here 3 to 4 times a year when we come up for a show. Breakfast included also. 5 Stars in our book!

Conveniently located to the Performing Arts Center to walk or drive.

The walls are not very thick between rooms. We could hear everything in the room next to us.

Just wish they would change up breakfast and have lunch available in the cafy

Super clean, staff was great.

We've stayed at this hotel many times before and have never been disappointed. They have plenty or parking and rooms are well maintained, as is the entire facility. There is also a nice breakast included with the hotel stay.

This was so close to the flee market and the music halls, close to the Blue Gate restaurant, which was fabulous. The breakfast at the Homestead was also very good. Great place to stay.
