Las habitaciones son amplias, li.pias y muy bonitas. El lugar en general es muy bueno.
The problem is the installations needs to have a good maintenance such to many rusting things on the shower, toilet paper holder we’re missing, faucets of the shower where decays. From my perspective is over priced
False marketing, I’m sure it’s great on summer. I do not recommend going on holidays it’s pretty lame :/// other than that the room was great and view was beautiful
The water front location location is great and relaxing. Restaurant has great food.
Beautiful place
Great pool area. Beautiful views. Very quiet and secluded.
The staff was great
Clean great views
Repeat visit, different outcome, unfortunate
Stay with ocean view was great as always! But unfortunately my flat iron to straighten my hair was stolen!! Which is weird because we had more valuable electronics in the room, but this mysteriously went missing second day of five day stay I called the front desk and they said they would ask the housekeeper and asked me to make sure to look for the iron around the room (which I made sure to do before I called). I received a call back saying no one of course admitted to taking it, to which I responded, It must have just disappeared then. The attendant then responded, I couldn’t tell you what the reason could have been. Very unfortunate that the hotel would take something like this so lightly. We have stayed at this hotel several times before as we have family we visit in Ensenada every other year and we had never had this issue. The hotel is usually a safe, clean and beautiful location.
Great
el mejor hotel de Ensenada
el lugar es magnífico para una escapada romántica o en familia. Dentro hay restaurante y a los alrededores muchas opciones para salir y conocer la gastronomía de la Baja. Es el hotel favorito de mi familia en Ensenada.
Amazing view
Great Spot
The view
Loved how quiet and safe the entire property was. The views were lovely and staff were all so friendly especially the waiters in the bar and restaurant. The prices were also great!
Room was a little shabby, broken bath fan, moldy trim in bath . But great value off season and staff is super friendly. Swim up bar was great and the pool patio is amazing
Safety, food & staff members
It was overall a good place. But the salt water wasn't so good in the shower and sink. It maybe good to some. But it's a nice place to visit again
We loved the quietness, beautiful view, friendly staff and good food at the resort restaurant (who had excellent service too!)
Condiciones regulares
El Hotel es conveniente por su cercanía al Mar, pero le falta mantenimiento , la tina del baño muy vieja y en medianas condiciones , la llave de agua del zinc vieja , oxidada.
Is quiet, we when during off season so it was very quiet, we didnt like that there is nothing aroud the area and in the resort is only one restaurant
I have always loved this hotel 10 years of visiting. Our last visit was a disappointment. While charged full price, alot of the services were not available because it was a Monday and Tuesday. No towels at pool, pool bar closed and when open only took cash or credit card, not a room charge. Charged me a deposit for glass wine glasses for our room! Service did not have that friendly smile I remembered ( l7 months ago) Because 3 cousins own it, the resort, the restaurant and the outer areas use separate billing, very annoying to deal with these separate charges.. They did open a sushi bar outside the rtesturant but they forgot to mention it when checking in or at resturant
My patio light was not working - the control was not working properly need new batteries- we were asleep and had the do not disturb sign the maid a knock / open the door without waiting they told her we had check out we were staying for another day
recommend to everyone
Great Security around property for family
This was our first visit, and we were very pleasantly surprised. The property was clean, comfortable, and, most importantly, family-oriented. We didn't bring our children with us this time, but we will definitely return with them. The swim-up bar at the pool was excellent, and the restaurant was strategically located close to the hotel but far enough away not to cause a noise issue. We will definitely return.
Once a Family Gem, Now a Party Zone – Disappointed
We’ve been visiting Estero Beach Hotel in Ensenada, Baja California, since around 2019, and back then, it was a family-friendly oasis. The hotel had this calm, cool, and tranquil vibe—a safe, serene environment perfect for a family getaway. We immediately fell in love and returned multiple times, but sadly, our last two visits have been quite disappointing. The atmosphere has shifted dramatically. The once family-oriented hotel now feels more like a party zone, with rowdy guests taking over. Groups hang out by the jacuzzi, drinking, yelling, and cursing loudly, with no regard for families or children nearby. It’s not just the noise, but it’s honestly gross; hours go by without anyone leaving for a restroom break, making you wonder if the jacuzzi is actually clean. It’s disappointing and disturbing, and unfortunately, the hotel staff doesn’t intervene. They seem indifferent to the chaos. The rooms, once charming with their “old-world” decor, now just feel outdated and in need of an upgrade. The furniture, lighting, bathrooms, and decor all show their age. During our last stay, our toilet made a strange, whistling noise after each flush, and while the bed was clean, the room didn’t feel particularly fresh overall. The balcony had cracks in the concrete, clearly needing repairs. We have a lot of fond memories of Estero Beach, but given the recent experiences, it feels like it’s no longer the peaceful retreat we once loved.
its beautiful property. Just the rooms need to be updated
Staff is extraordinarily helpful. Food is delicious and dining on the estuary is so relaxing.
Very nice place
Con gusto regresaré.
Muy agradable
Great place, amazing room and close to pool.
Estero has been one of my favorite places since 1980 it gotten better as time has gone by but still a gem in Ensenada.
Very nice property our room was located right on the pool. Large pool area with lots of shade and swim up bar
Property needs a big renovation
Liked how the room was close to the pool.
Needs update in the restroom shower head was rusted and restroom fan did not work
Beautiful Resort
Estero Beach is a beautiful place. This was our 4th visit & it was great as always. The restaurant has excellent food. Staff is very friendly & attentative. This will not be pur laast visit. We love it!
Old property needs remoral rooms
Safe, nice getaway
If you’re looking for a quiet place to stay, this is the spot.
Loved our stay here! The AC broke in our room and when I reported it they changed our room immediately. The service was very responsive and our stay was pleasant and peaceful. The pool is great, along with the private beach. We will come back!
So much potential
Needs Upgrades in rooms and grounds... there is so much potential in this property... it is a shame to not utilitze it . The rooms all need modern upgrading or referblsh back to the original which could be quaint as well but seems they have done neither... the bathroom is in need of complete overhaul starting with plumbing and water system being self contained and cleaned enough to drink to the showers and toilets to being a new hilton or 4 seasons bathroom style.
***!!!*** WARNING ***!!*** This property bathrooms disperse salt water and shut off intermittently ***!!!*** WARNING ***!!*** Stayed here recently with the family and young children. The property is 30 minutes from Ensenada and nestled in an older compound with a LONG entry way. Which is great for security , but a pain to get in an out unless you plan on spending entire time being bored there. The property itself is older , but maintained. The rooms are decent but could use an upgrade. On to the biggest issues , since had we know we'd have NOT BOOKED. The entire resort uses SALT WATER. The seawater in the shabby beach is actually sweeter. At least there your guaranteed continuous water flow. It was a MAJOR INCONVIENCE having to shower 3 children with shampoo in their eyes , with the water shutting off randomly. What normally would take 5 min now puts you as hostage at the showers will. One evening literally took over an hour to shower (COLD salt water) the children. Even after "Rinsing" off the saltiness and soap residue really put a dampen on the entire stay. Not to mention the bugs and rats we saw around the property , but that's secondary to the Salt water. Furthermore the hotel management are FULLY AWARE of the issue and would not cooperate let alone work with us. Thankfully we wont be visiting ever again. If you do get stuck coming here be for warned and buckle up for a nightmare in Ensenada. Good luck!!
Nice but note nice.
The room was close to the pool. But the room didnt have a working bathroom vent, the shower liked all day. The patio screen kept falling off when used. I like Estero Beach but i feel sad that they dont keep ip with service
The showers don't always work and all the water that comes off of all the faucets and shower is salt water. The property is nice and spacious Is like a big compound. But it's about a 30 minute drive to the city center and tourist areas where the good restaurants and shops are
I like the pool and beach area
Very Old hotel
Na
Honestamente me descepciono. Al restaurante por supuesto que regreso tienen una excelente atención y el desayuno estuvo muy rico .
Very nice place away from de city 👍👍
The rooms can be updated. The staff was very nice. It would've been better if the activites were avilable mid week
I booked 4 rooms and I didn’t have not even one of them down stairs on view, also, we get to this hotel to relax and to enjoy time, but the hotel maintains staff woke us up early morning around 7:00 Am cutting trees, they were so noisy, our kids started crying since that time. When I talked to reception about that, they didn’t do anything and didn’t care. I don’t recommend this place anymore and I wish Expedia to solve this problem .
I used to frequent Estero Beach Resort when I was a child with my family. I have been dying to go back to experience it with my children, but wasn't sure of the shape it would be in after so many years (approx 20 years!). All I can say is I was BLOWN away. The service was amazing, the grounds are kept up so nicely. The rooms have been redone and are so beautiful. We were upgraded to a pool/ocean view free of charge and I can't thank them enough for giving us the experience we had. We were met in the parking lot with a luggage cart and walked up to our room. I have never seen service like this in any of the hotels I've stayed at any where else, and I frequent hotels often, ranging from the Intercontinental to Westin Resorts. This resort was by far my favorite experience. The restaurant and pool side food are phenomenal. We had great experiences for every meal. The drinks are so delicious. And the prices are incredible compared to what you find in the states. We had 8 drinks and food for under $100!! What! The view is spectacular. It's quiet, there are a lot of families. It's very safe and very easy to get to. My biggest concern was safety since I haven't been across the border in quite some time. They have done an amazing job cleaning things up and welcoming tourists in a safe space. I was there on a Thursday through Saturday, I never experienced any rowdiness or loud people. It was so relaxing. The loudest thing was the waves at night, win!! Don't wait. Go there now!!
The hotel was clean and beautiful. The staff go above and beyond to help you. Excellent service. I will definitely return to stay here again.
I felt safe and I loved the quiet and peaceful atmosphere
Great staff. Very quick, attentive and responsive. Maya room was very big. Views are fantastic. If you like to watch birds you’ll love staying here. Also convenient for recreational fishing from the rocks or beach.
My family & i have been staying at Estero beach for well over 20 years. Each time is an amazing experience.
Very friendly staff, if you see any issues or inconveniences especially in the pool area, just report them to the office and they are quick to take care of it. There was one guest that kept bringing his friends or family from the outside to use the jacuzzis, other guest from the resort wanted to use the Jacuzzis but we’re not able to at certain times due to that. The issue was reported and it was taken care of promptly. Certain guest think that they can abuse their stay, but that’s not how it works there.
I liked that the property was gated
Beautiful property, little outdated but nevertheless an amazing stay.
Nice and clean property, pool are bar all nice. Excellent beachfront
Safe and great for family
Amazing choice. Very clean, yummy and excellent food at the resort, both for room service as well as the restaurant. Will definitely be returning.
The stay here started off great. The check-in process was quick and easy, and someone came out to the parking lot to help us with our bags. The pool area was great for the kids, and the view of the ocean was breathtaking. Unfortunately, the service at the restaurant was terrible, with a long wait time during our dining experience. On our second night, it went from bad to worse. We arrived at the pool area with our children at about 6:45 pm and asked to see a menu for the restaurant, which we received within minutes. However, trying to place an order was a nightmare. My wife and I tried walking to the restaurant 4 different times to place our food order, only to be told to go back to the pool area and wait for a waiter. However, the waiter never showed up. At 10:15 pm, I walked into the restaurant to speak to the manager and was directed to "Mauricio". I explained to him that we had been waiting for food for close to 4 hours, to which he responded, "he was too busy for us". To be clear, this is the only option for food at the resort, and thanks to Mauricio, my children did not eat that night. Mauricio was rude and offered no solution to the problem besides giving him "5 minutes," which we heard over an hour before that. The staff at the hotel was GREAT, especially Mario at the pool area, who came over and apologized to me and let me know that the restaurant was out of his control. I would consider going back but would spend my money on food outside.
Great place to stay.
This place is completely run down, outdated not cared for and super expensive. You will not get any sleep here It's very noisy. Staff is friendly and nice surroundings are beautiful but the resort itself is dirty and outdated and do not represent the pictures in the website.
So relaxing
Nice hotel , great pool area but very sub par beach
It was really beautiful, with ocean view. Well maintained and very friendly staff. The only thing is it it very secluded highly recommend having a car to get around. Otherwise great
Was relaxing and quiet
Very private, and staff was polite and available.
Worst resort ever
Weekend
Service location excelent
This place is beautiful, one of the best hotels I’ve stayed. Brought with us our friends to celebrate my birthday. We all love the place. The restaurant was nice too. I definitely recommend and come back to this hotel.
Is a family oriented good for children .
Loved it plan on going back
Amazing, the toom was bery spacious abd private balcony, felt very safe there was 2 guards you have to go throigh before gettting to the hotel so not just anyone can get in
Wonderful establishment
We enjoyed our stay. So nice
Very nice propertie, for a restful few days
relaxing weekend
Awesome free upgrade, cozy chill stay, will keep staying there for sure.
Great location and views
The resort was amazing but wasn't close to the centro where the action is. However, once you enter the resort, you can forget the long drive, and just smile and relax away. The views were spectacular. The room was cozy (not modern, a but outdated as was the tv) but it was spacious and has everything you need. They have a few jacuzzi's and a large pool area. The outside decor was beautiful accompanied by nature and singing birds all over. I have to especially say that the front desk/customer service was AWESOME. I'd stay here again hands down.
Very nice resort only down side is no elevator to the second floor.
1st class restaurant & bar with great service. Shout out to Chewy behind the bar.
The view to the beach and recreational activities that take place in the beach plus the private beach areas for guest and residence only.
I would expected a better experience
Beautifully maintained and remote
Helpful, happy and interacting staff ant all levels
very nice
Very quiet and peaceful.
I love this place I go there once or twice a year it’s a unique place.
I felt very safe I was with my daughter and granddaughter
Loved the proximity to the ocean and the layout of the property. How each room opened to the pool or the ocean. Didn't like the neighborhood surrounding the property.
Fantastic!!
We loved our weekend at the Estero Beach Resort. All the staff were super accommodating and helpful. The property was beautiful. The room was large and had a small refrigerator. The shower was great and there was also a tub. We will definitely stay here again.
Beds are hard, heard it from different people as well. The water in the shower was salty along with the sink. The bars closed early even with a big party available.

The property was beautiful and well kept up. The staff was lovely and pleasant.
