Best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Absolutely marvellous

I loved the ice bath, steam room and sauna

Loved the modern, luxurious feel of this hotel. The video screens in the elevators were so quirky and unique. The staff were super helpful and friendly, and the food in the rooftop restaurant was excellent. Belle Epoque had the most incredible blueberry pancakes with lemon curd, persian fairy floss and pistachios. I had the best nights sleep ever, and loved the mirror/tv screen. Totally recommend!

Great Location

Some people will love the decor, some people may not but this is an exceptionally comfortable hotel in a great location for the Air Train, restaurants of South Bank and exploring Brisbane.

Booked the Pool Cabana room for $1100 a night - Such loud music outside room until late. Terrible service. Everything delayed luggage to room, no assistance to find entrance into hotel room - which is off the pool also and not at all private. Nightmare room for the cost. Overrated hotel

Excellent stay at the Emporium South Bank. Room was spacious and had all the amenities I needed. I loved the rooftop pool with its amazing views. The staff is really professional and super helpful. Shoutout to Louisa (at check-in) and Nelson (at concierge area). The location is hard to beat. It’s close to everything really. And there’s a train station right next to the hotel. My favorite breakfast spot was the nearby Mi Casa cafe. I highly recommend staying there if you’re visiting Brisbane.

Great 5 star property. Loved our room with a view of the river. Staff is friendly and helpful. Walkable to all the restaurants and river. We would definitely recommend this hotel in Brisbane.

In the room there is always missing something after cleaning the rooms in the morning. I also recon we were entitled to two drinks for free but never got any coupons or acknowledgment in this relation.

- Service was great from the front desk to the concierge to the waiters and waitress. - Was able to use the pool facilities whilst we wait for our room (we arrived at the hotel 2 hours early).

Stay away

Tragic . Really let down by terrible service. The worst I’ve experienced in a five star hotel in many many years of business travel . I’ve stayed there many times but never again . Service was either non existent or hopeless .

Beautiful place to stay for a special event. The rooms were very special and so close to everything. Loved the little things like the videos surround inside the lifts and the chocolates on the pillow. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend this place.

Brilliant Hotel

I love this hotel. I was recuperating after surgery at Mater Hospital and it had everything I needed whilst I relaxed. The swimming pool is spectacular and so are the bars, and the Italian cuisine for dinner was truly amazing. I had the sushi platter twice in a row for lunch on the terrace and it was delicious and fresh. I can’t say enough good things.

Excellent, however it would be lovely to have live entertainment nightly in the lobby bar. It lacks atmosphere without it.

I chose Emporium to celebrate my birthday and it was the best decision I could have made. I felt like I was on holidays from the moment that I walked into the hotel lobby. This is a magnificent hotel with facilities and views to match. This is definitely my favourite hotel in Brisbane now.

Lovely hotel with great staff. Just starting to look a wee bit tired in places. Stunning views from the river view rooms. Wee bit pricey in my opinion but didn't mind this time as i had expedia points to use!

Our room was super comfy, rooftop pool view was awesome. I loved the lifts & attention to detail.

Nice, centrally located hotel within easy walknig distance to restaurants, museums. Main complaint is that housekeeping services left much to be desired. Daily housekeeping service did not involve tidying or cleaning of carpet, bathroom, or services. They just made up beds and replaced towels. The TV flashed on on its own every night at around 2am, which was disruptive of sleep. The on-site restaurant for breakfast is understaffed and cuisine is underwhleming. Luckily there are plenty of breakfast options around the hotel.

Apart from the spa the property itself was fantastic. Great room, fantastic view from the terrace with a heated infinity pool.

Stay at the Emporium Brisbane

The Emporium hotel had a wine tasting event, so we took the opportunity to stay overseas.

Always a fabulous stay - wonderful room service and impeccable staff. Amazing room facilities and a great view of the river!

Amazing location and hotel

Overall the stay was amazing. Hard to find fault, but if i was to mention anything that maybe wasn't ideal, it would be that the A/C in the hallways and the elevator seemed to be extremely warm, almost uncomfortable on a couple of occasions. The glass wall of the shower was a little too see-through even with the block out setting on, and it was surprisingly expensive for the movie access on the TV. Really nitpicking here because honestly the stay was amazing, but I'm a big believer in giving feedback so a place can improve. Especially since we'd love to stay again.

Amazing service, clean, comfortable, convenient

Fantastic place to stay! The customer service is outstanding. Every person from beginning to end was extremely friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond. The rooms are large, clean, and comfortable. Beds are comfortable and we slept well. The hotel itself is very modern and chic. Location is amazing, the area has lots to do and see. Public transport - train and buses are so so very close and ferry a few minute walk. The infinity pool is gorgeous and amenities such as the sauna, steam room, and cold Plunge were a lovely bonus. Highly recommend and I would absolutely stay here again! Also, huge shout out to the incredible concierge. I left a sentimental object at a restaurant across the street and only realized once I had checked out and had left the city for a couple nights. I was so heartbroken when it happened. Someone from the concierge team (Feb 28 2024) was able to go to the restaurant and get my item and they held it for me until I was back in Brisbane a couple nights later. I am so so grateful for the emporium concierge team and they truly went above and beyond to reunite me with my item. I wish I could personally thank the person who saved the day. Thank you so much!

I honestly can’t think of anything negative to say about our stay. We enjoyed every aspect of The Emporium and will definitely be staying again in the very near future. A shout to all the staff… all were brilliant to deal with :-)

Lovely hotel room and comfy bed. Restaurant was dated and looks very tired. Bar closes early on a Friday which was a shame after seeing a show. The service was basic too

We don’t appreciate being required to have $100 per day paid at check in just in case you use the minibar. And then wait several days for it to be refunded.

Excellent staff service

Some areas in the room needed cleaning. Dust on bedside table, clock radio and lamp. The surface surrounding basin in the bar area had a lot of marks from glasses. The glass and tiles in bathroom needed cleaning. There was a lot of noise from the room next door. Their door was constantly banging and at 2 am on it disrupts your sleep. Some areas of the room are well worn.

Very few power points and no power points anywhere near the desk! Lighting system is very unusual and takes a couple of days to find out how it works.

Did not like the fact that the advertised price was in USD with no clear indication on the website. Thinking my night would cost me $380 and only to be told it was $599 at the time of arrival. Two very different prices. Well played...

check-in was late due to room not available. reason given that supervisor checking the room. Hotel should inform us before 3pm about room is not available till check-in time. we entered to room later than 3pm, flight landed 10am

Really nice hotel but maybe slightly overpriced for what I paid per night. Loved the pool area, steam room, sauna & ice bath. Rooms are really well sized, great bathrooms. The tv behind the mirror isn’t the best idea, shower head was leaking and one of the led lights was flickering. That being super fussy though. Would still absolutely stay again

Even though i did not receive any benefits from the VIP hotel program, the hotel itself it very nice, clean with great staff, so all good:)

Our short stay was perfect. We really enjoyed the vibe at this hotel and they have gone above and beyond in the presentation the lifts and the lighting are a real buzz. Cannot wait to take the kids there for them to check it out.

Mixed feelings with review - property and staff amazing and helpful/engaging. Roof top pool, view and Terrace Bar definitely 5 stars. Room itself did not feel it was value for money for a top class hotel - room amenities could do with upgrade - only two towels which were a bit threadbare, bed soft/sagging. We thoroughly enjoyed celebrating a milestone birthday though would not spend same amount of money again.

There was nothing I didn't like .. it was like , "a breath of fresh air" , walking into the hotel yesterday ! All the fabulous , human beings working at the hotel , are great representatives, of "The Emporium ". I can't wait ...... to visit , AGAIN !!!

Stayed here for one night. The staff at reception and concierge were wonderful and friendly. Had a few drinks and food at roof top terrace restaurant overlooking the river- with a cool breeze blowing, it was a perfect ambience for a spring day. Great stay, highly recommend anyone looking to treat themselves :)

Don't bother. Nothing open for full paying guests.

Won't be returning. Have stayed multiple times and too often the amenities are booked out but you still charge full price. Disgraceful to close both the rooftop bar and the piano bar on the same night. Complete disregard for guests. Don't reply - no need. It's farcical leadership at Emporium. There are equally good, lower priced hotels that do not regularly close off amenities. You betrayed out loyalty, so we'll take it elsewhere. Token free breakfast and bottles of champagne are little compensation when we have travelled in from Sydney just for a night at a hotel we regularly stay at. It's a leadership issue. Period.
