Overall a pleasant stay
Check-in process was quick, and staff member was friendly and pleasant. Wifi service was strong and stable, yet my phone battery went out very fast when connected overnight. Toilet amenities were provided, even the housekeeping delivered the items to room quite promptly upon request. Just the shower was "fixed" with slight angle adjustment (up and down). It just reached my shoulders, so personally lowered "the base" a bit for hair washing. Rusted handle was seen around the bathtub. One more thing is...... it took a bit long for check-out process, as 12noon was peak time for check-out.
The schedule to macau ferry terminal and the border gate too long , if shorten is the best. If there is a free bus to airport that bring more credit to the hotel .
the location is good but the whole property mades you uncomfortable
Clean rooms, safe area to be in and fairly easy access to all tourist spots. Only snag is there are no shuttle bus service offered in this hotel but can get free ride from other hotels nearby.
Nice location
In the center
I will not stay at this hotel again.
The smoking smell of my room 1711 is so strong and stuffy and also the water pressure of the bathroom is really low I’m so disappointed with that shower facility
Worst pillows ever!
This hotel was very middle of the road. We were apparently upgraded but I couldn’t tell-the room was exactly what we booked. We ordered room service and it took a long time to get someone who spoke English to take our order. Even then, he did not understand when I asked if their lunch specials were still available (it was about 3:30 when we ordered). When it arrived, they had no clue how to let us charge it to the room, and stared blankly when I tried to hand them a visa, so we had to scramble to find cash to pay. They also only brought 1 pair of chopsticks when we ordered 2 meals. The bed was hard, but a fairly typical Asian style bed. The pillows were the worst part though-it seriously felt like sleeping on bricks. I’ve never felt a pillow so hard before in my life. I was very grateful that I brought my own. There is a shuttle to the ferry pier, but it runs very irregularly. We took the shuttle at the Wynn across the street to get to Cotai.
Fast check in,clean room and close to shopping mall
Near to many of the attractions of the city - easy to find and close to enough to the airport
Staff were friendly and quick. Received an upgrade on this visit.
Enjoyable and accessibility is good.
The hotel is centralised and accessible to many facilities. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Overall enjoyed my stay there.
Excellent hotel room. Good staff service. It would be great if the staff could speak good English. Breakfast Menu can be improved.

Vacation
This hotel is a bit older and caters mainly to tourists visiting from the Chinese mainland. However, I have stayed there a few times and it is fine - especially in relation to the price. Also, it is very convenient to some of the larger casinos.
Hotel in Macau
Facilities is dated and need renovations Cleanliness need to be improved especially washroom with stains It’s more a hotel for PR Chinese as front desk English level is very limited
Adequate
The hotel is decent and rooms a adequate and very quiet. A bit dated, but was perfect for our one night stay and the breakfast was nice.
Location is OK. Breakfast offers fair varieties. Furniture and room decor are old.
emperor hotel for family vocation
The location could reach the places of interest easily. Free shuttle bus is provided from the hotel to the ferry terminal. in general, the service is good. However, the wifi is not great in the room.
The staff is nice and helpful but the bus scheduel to ferry is litter bite
The pillow are not comfortable. Staff are friendliness. Overall OK.
I like B&B. I did not like no shuttle bus to airport.
Location is good
Please make sure your booking name exactly same with your passport name! Otherwise, their staff would stop you to check in and treat it as “No Show”!
Location is convenient, overall the hotel is a bit old
I liked it because it was an individual hotel and felt like we were in China, hard to communicate because the staff do not understand English
Very good hotel.
All very good condition. Close to senado square and lots of tourist area. Very great service and fast check in and check out.
good family suite for 4 people
For the price, I think this hotel is a good choice, Sure, their morning buffet is not that great and the elevators smell of cigarettes even though no one is smoking, but it is in the heart of the city and the room itself for a family of 4 is good and spacious. They gave us 2 bananas, an orange, an apple and the usual complimentary coffees, teas, and water. I love the room because it is also divided into two (each with tv) so everyone can have privacy. It's easy to hail a cab, minutes walk from Lisboa (tip: take the shuttle of the airport to grand lisboa then walk to emperor hotel), minutes from bus terminal, and a looooooong walk to senado square and ruins of st paul. The shops are open for 24/7 and you can buy branded stuff, fruits, jewelries, and still near the hotel. There are a lot of casinos. The staff, needs improvement on their hospitality but they're not rude or anything...they are just not that friendly.
There is a shower head in the bathroom but can’t turn on or is the shower.
OK location. Can be better/cheaper
This location is close to the Casino area. If you are into gambling, that's good. Unfortunately, we are not. But at least it is walkable distance to main tourist area. Hotel facilities is simple without a swimming pool. Can be a bit cheaper for this quality. Receptionist is nice to help us check in earlier because we have a one year kid. That's help a lot.
Good hotel, very pleasant
Hotel was near ferry terminal, but the shuttle bus only comes once every hour. We missed ours and had to wait a long time. Taxi queue was bad and would not be quicker! I had trouble checking in because I did not include my middle name when booking and I had to call Expedia to ask them to resend booking confirmation with my middle name! So beware. Also had to pay a deposit in case we damage to remove items from hotel. Apart from that hotel was OK without any drama.
Environment surrounding the hotel is good and quiet, room is clean and tidy. Smartphone provided by hotel is very convenient for us to go any itineraries.
Its location is good for folks to have activities around the area of know how taking the public transportation. Across the Main Street is Wynn and MGM but away from the central district.
Hotel is decent but old
Very Pricey during peak periods like holidays and weekends. Location is great if ona budget, it’s near the bigger hotels/casino however have cross a 2 major roads. It gets abit shady during the night. Perfect for men’s entertainment but not so much for families. Lift are slow and hotel key cards needs an upgrade. Sitting areas are extremely limited and often packed with tour groups. Area is accessible by walking but slightly in convinent via vehicle in view of tons of one way traffic. Good side the restaurant on lvl 3 is a must try! Never get the spare beds, uncomfortable unless u like rock beds. Limited free bottled water, unlikely other hotel competitors. Poor bell boy services. Overall a 3star budget hotel experience with slightly better living conditions. Decent stay but room for improvement :)
hotel is worth the price.
Overall it is okay. Hotel staff are friendly. Location not bad, just that a bit difficult to get taxi.
Very good location
Lack of communication. Most of the staff do not speak english
so cool...
so cool...
Great Hotel For a Business Trip
This is my 3rd stay at the Emperor in 3 months. I Always look forward to staying here, because it kind of feels like home now when I come to Macau for Business. I am always treated very well and in a very friendly manner. If there is availability, I usually get a room upgrade. The rooms are Very Spacious, clean and quiet. Looking forward to my next stay later on this month.
macau weekend with friends
Stayed at the Emperor for a couple nights with 3 of my friends. We arrived via the ferry from HKG. The hotel did not have a shuttle service ready and waiting at the docks like the other big hotels so we hitched a ride with the StarWorld hotel shuttle since they were apparently just across the street. It took us a while to find the hotel though since they were not along the main road, but the by the side street beside the Pharao's Palace Casino (hint: search for the signage that reads Emperor's Sauna). Note that there is a "Grand Emperor Hotel" which is a different hotel altogether. Check in was quick and easy since I prepaid via hotels.com. We availed of the Family suite which was spacious and comfortable, and had all the basic amenities like the fridge, water heater, and a tv in each room. a nice touch was the free to use mobile phone that came in handy for going online and using maps to find our way around. the hotel itself is about 15-20 minutes walk from the famous Macau attractions like the Grand Lisboa, Senado square, St. Paul cathedral, etc. If you fancy local food fare, there's an abundance of small restaurants and kiosks in the area, plus a couple of supermarkets if you need to buy anything.
Home feel
Visiting Macau for business. Great reasonably priced hotel and comfy hotel within a 3 minute walk from the office. Excellent location. Tons of places to eat. Clean, safe and good for walking around with parks and walking paths. Be sure to have the address/hotel card in Chinese for the Taxi Driver, as they do not really recognize the English.
Good location.
Very good location, walking distance to Casinos in the old city. Hotel did not have available the room we requested, so they upgraded us to a better room. Staff helpful..
Convenient and good in general except for the WiFi
Good in general but the WiFi was not stable and line drop all the time. I had purchased a pre-paid sim for my internet access due to the poor WiFi connection
It's nearby the supermarket and casino
Convenient and quiet hotel
The stay was great. Hotel is in a busy area but it is quiet in the hotel.
Stay was good except for the inconvenience of charging the whole amount of room through credit card even if you have already paid in full.
It was quiet nice to stay on that price. But the sauna in the hotel wasnt for family. I saw lots of h**kers especially in the late. watch out
Not so convenience for free bus service.
Good hotel conviently located in centre of city.
Visited Macau for GP and hotel was ideally situated close to Lisboa and within walking distance to paddock area. Many restaurants around hotel area and accessible to old town area for sightseeing. Sands, MGM, grand Lisboa and many other casinos close by. Overall hotel good value..
Not very friendly front desk. Seemed very short handed and need to wait for long on both check in and out A piece of advise ., avoid travel during weekend or china holidays day. It is simply very squeezed
Although we had a couple of little things go wrong on arrival, staff were very quick to respond and fix them. Although not immediately close to the centre, we found it good for being central to doing the recommended walking trails. It was only 10-15 minute walk to most places we wanted to visit. Plenty of eating places close by, and a 7/11. Nice comfortable, clean place to stay.
Convenient hotel in a good location
Good location. Near to large casinos.
reception attitude is bad room promised to be non smoking but is a smaoking room room carpet is dirty. it is not well clean service in the restaurant is bad
It was a nice hotel we enjoyed the stay with my girl-friend.
Staff service attitude not very good. Breakfast no good. Room quality satisfactory.
Nice hotel close to Wynn
5 min walk to Wynn Hotel & Casino 15 min to Ruins of St. Paul's. And great the room is come with a smart phone to provide free internet service.
Good for cheap stay
Average hotel stay. Many similar standard hotel around.
Save area
It need 40 min to wait for check-out.. It smells smoke all in The hotel and
great breakfast for a Family
great breakfast for a Family
Hong Kong yrip
Beautiful city
good price for a short stay
staffs were good. there is free wifi but does not work so well. anyway, good price for a short stay
good location and good hotel.
nice hotel
Good location, yet hotel needs to improve
Looked for a budget hotel in the center of the peninsula. The location turned out to be perfect. Safe even at late hours of night. In room you get all the small needed things including mini fridge, kettle and slippers. The room was clean, though as expected somewhat outdated. But the hotel has many things that need improving: Smelly closet, hard bed, shabby ironing board and AC blows in smoke from other rooms. WiFi signal was poor and kept disconnecting.
Good place to stay for a couple of days...
It was very pleasant close to where we wanted to go.. And it's convenient since you can leave your stuff when u check out and shuttle service to ferry
Value for money with central location in Macau Peninsula
Ok stay
Bar fridge did not have sprite. We asked if we could change coke. Beer for more water since we don't drink either and they said they can't do that. Breakfast very average. Room was very good. Most the staff don't understand English.
Nice location.
One thing we did not like and complain for that was deposit. We booked online and paid by credit card, we did not understand why we need put only Macau dollar 500.00 for deposit. Even US dollars doesn't work over there. Are you doing the int'l business?
Hallway noisy
It's so good for us.thank you.
Holiday in Macau.
Hotel location was very convenience.
experience of staying in this hotel
The Location is good, Many casinos nearby. It takes about 15 mins to the spots. The staff are helpful, and they gave us useful tips and recommendations for our Macau trip. Is ok for short stay in Macau. But too much stains on the carpet. and the hotel look old. Renovation needed.
Macau Trip
Great location at a reasonable price
this hotel in downtown very good location
this hotel in downtown very good location and changed luxury bed kindly serviceman.. all nice
Nice restaurants near hotel
Staffs not friendly. For lost of one key card is HK$100 penalty. A rip off I would say, whereas other hotels won't mind. I would say this hotel is too mean. On top of this the deposit on checking in if used credit card, they hold the money for 2 weeks, but if deposit by cash you get back upon check out. Another sort of too tight term which I really don't like.
Reasonable priced hotel
Close to various place of interests and near Wynne to get free shuttle over to Cotai. Family safe and not roudy or slizzy.
Will not consider using this hotel again.
Toilet lighting very dim. Reception staff not very friendly and do not understand English.
Good deal hotel
Nice Hotel - great location
It was a very good n pleasant stay at this hotel, except the breakfast was simple and not much food to choose. Overall this is good for couple and I love the room very much that make my days. Will return if I go Macau again.
Decent hotel in centre of Macau
It is near to centre of Macau and various casinos , opposite to star world . Worth Staying in Macau .
very convenient in accessing to Zhu Hai Border, free shuttle bus at Landmark Hotel to Ferry Terminal. Nearby seafood is too expensive to dine in, especially fish is cost us S$125, we request for receipt and their practice is NO. The restaurant is opposite to Emperor Hotel, do not step in to take their seafood stuff.
Good for leisure
Internet is a big problem and no one helps to solve it . So in case on business don't stay here but a good place for leisure
Fair hotel
Industrial hotel.
Through my travels on the job throughout Asia, I rate this Hotel as a Industrial grade. Has the character of a hotel, but the luster of an nice assembly line Dorm.
Stay at Emperor Hotel Macau
It was good. Hotel is near to Casino nearby. However, I was abit disappointed. I booked for one night and they upgraded me to room at 18th floor. However when I decided to extend another night, which I booked online again. They requested me to change room and not staying to my current room. this really bring inconveniences to me. I have to wait till 12.30 pm then can change room.
Emperor in Macau
It's fair for the hotel location but the room is acceptable !
Bad Experience
Disappointed experience Remark is meanlingless No solution offering from Hotel.com Just said policy is cannot change and cancel Finally i cancelled booking at my own cost
reasonable price for holiday at Macau
Walking distance to Wynn's hotel.
good location, but not clean enough for me
I liked the location, and the men's spa is legendary, so I'm glad I checked it out, but on the whole, in-room wifi needs an upgrade. I was okay with my stay, but might opt for a worse location and a slightly nicer place next time.
Hotel Emperor
The hotel is a good place to stay and is in a great location,a short walk to some Casinos and shopping locations. There was quite a few Chinese people yelling in the hallways from about 12:30-4:30 in the morning which was extremely annoying, these people need to learn some manners and get some commom sense which is not taught in China.Other than that this hotel is affordable and in good shape.
Just Okay!
This hotel is just okay, the carpet is not so clean but the room is reasonable size.
Good location. Big room for 4 people.
Good hotel and good location. Enough space for 4 persons to stay. Worth a money. But the front woman explain the attractions for us with boring face. She should smile and action as she has a feeling to tell a visitor who first come to Macau.
nice and clean with plenty of bed space
complementary drinks in the refrigerator were very nice
Macau family trip
The amenities of room, services, clean, air, are fine. But the Internet connection is very poor. It is disconnected easily. And the breakfast is not good taste even there is very few food nearly.
The shuttle is too small and crowded. Not enough space to place luggage when bus is full. As I know this shuttle is share with few hotel!! Not convenience to stay if need to carry a bag!
Emperor Hotel, Macau
Very convenient location and staffs are very helpful & friendly
Good location, easy to find food!!
i stay one nigth in this hotel, location is near to the casino. just a walk to find some food near hotel. hotel also have a shutle bus.
value the price
the hotle's location is great.near the center part of the city.except this others is good.the room is not very big.just ok
Great stY
