Not worth the Price

Not so good. There is nightclub across the stress the noise was horrendous and we had to request to switch rooms. The room had limited water and had to call reception several times of the issue. The AC unit took two hours to get it fixed in the room. For the amount of money paid to stay here is overpriced.

I have stayed at a lot of Hilton’s however this was the best by far. The view from this hotel was incredible and next level.

Payed for the name not empress

Missed the breakfast impossible to get it at the room. Pool so cold no one in there except kids. Hard time to get Park and find your way truth the lobby. Windows need to be clean was on 10th floor. Expensive for what I’ve got won’t come back.

Fantastic customer service! I had the best time while on my stay, breakfast and happy hour included. I will definitely come back!

Breakfast, lunch and dinner at the buffet area is quite small and the food was very limited. The 5 days that my family and I stood at the resort, they serve the same food every single day. The rooms are very outdated and the photos that you see showing the castle from the rooms that they charge the guest more money. They are big coconut trees blocking the view of the castle.

I love the customer service at the desk. They were so helpful. Also housekeeping they were kind and sufficient in what they do. Breakfast was always delicious. Thank you for a rememberable stay.

The hotel is beautiful! Great location. Very nice staff and clean hotel! My hotel room was on the 14 floor and I was still able to hear the music from the club across the street and my partner and I couldn’t sleep well due to it. When I mentioned it to the staff member on call that night, he stated no one else complained. He stated he couldn’t change our rooms because they were fully booked and then proceeded to tell me that complaining about our stay will affect his employment with the hotel. In morning, I bought the issue of noise to the staff member during check. He apologized for the inconvenience and would talk to manager about so type of compensation.

Not for a business trip

This was a business trip, and on this occasion, I stayed on the 22nd floor of the hotel. My stay was for two nights, during which I was unable to sleep on either night. On the 27th floor, there was an event with an orchestra on both nights, with the music continuing past midnight. As a result, I was unable to rest adequately. I requested a room change, but I was informed that it was not possible.

Amazing hotel. From staff to guest amazing

My husband and I stayed here for two nights and both of us enjoyed our time here. The room we rented was a suite and it was spacious and clean and comfortable.

I had a fantastic stay at the hotel and hope to return. The only slightly negative experience was at breakfast, where some guests were allowed to choose their seating while I was escorted to the side tables. I'm hoping it was not because I was a black male. It would be more fair and equal if either everyone was escorted to a table or everyone could choose their own. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and accommodating. Additionally, unlike other hotels I've stayed at, there was no map available showing historical sites in the country or places to visit in the area.

There are many great restaurants nearby and within walkable distances. Plus the Breakfast Buffet was quite tasty.

Nice and clean!

The service and the property were excellent. My room was more spacious than I imagined, and had an amazing view. I did yoga and other workouts in the living room in the mornings and had plenty of room. I was on one of the higher floors and the view of the city was breathtaking. I could see all the way out to the ocean. The staff was very alert to the guests' needs and they were very relaxed, which left me feeling the same way. The infinity pool is great and the security on the property is excellent. With your room key you could only go to YOUR floor, the pool, the gym and the lobby. So, you could NOT visit another person. They would have to bring you up to their floor. If you drove a car you had access to the parking lot on the lowest level. The only caveat was that they didn't have a concierge point person or brochures to show you what excursions were available. I was really surprised. They also didn't have little note pads and pens in the room. The former would have made my stay even better, but I had a fantastic week at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in Santo Domingo, nevertheless.

The staff were great, the room was excellent, the only issue which wasn’t much of one, was the ability to hear the traffic on the street from the 15th floor. But it is DR and the traffic never sleeps!!!

I loved my stay. The breakfast was amazing!

Everything was good for the most part. Rooms are nice and clean, and a good size. Where the hotel falls short is the staff in the restaurants; no customer service. Food was cold (out of fridge cold), and didnt offer to replace... at breakfast you need to beg to get coffee...

Great hotel!

This was where we stayed while we were visiting some family in the city before we spent some time at an all inclusive a week later. Honestly this was a wonderful hotel for what we needed. The staff was VERY friendly, very accommodating. The pool was open late. As a general “warning” the power goes out a bit on the island—it’s unavoidable. But the hotel has plenty of back up generators that kept the power going with very minimal outages. The food was even great, expected a typical continental breakfast but I appreciated the Dominican twist. And two free drinks per guest PER DAY was also a great plus! Overall a great stay. We’ll be back next time we’re in town visiting family.

This is my go to place in Santo Domingo. The rooms are so large. The parking is convenient. The free breakfast and free evening snacks are a very nice touch. The swimming pool is great.

Rooms are very nice and spacious, however employees are rude and unfriendly, poor quality customer service, they need to be coached specifically employees on the Noire Lounge bar. Anyway I will not come back

Our A/C was broken around 1:20am we called so they can fix it and at 3 am still we had no a/c and had to force them to take us out

Staff were very friendly and helpful, check in felt welcoming, room was clean and modern and very comfy bed, pool at night is beautiful.

We booked a room with 3 queen beds (one was a sofa bed) but were forced to book a second room because they don’t allow more than 4 people in one room. Which is frankly hostile to families and a shame. In addition, there were roaches in the room. We saw 2 in the bathroom. In a supposedly luxury hotel. We were on the 10th floor and noise from the street was loud. Bad soundproofing. Overall, not worth the money by any standard. Stay away.
