One set of Elevators under maintenance. Breakfast and evening snack and drink was great. Staff friendly. Room was clean.
Toilet in one of my rooms didn't work and the staff wasn't helpful through the Hilton Honors app or the Expedia app.
I cancelled this reservation around a month ago. Cancel was from my phone. Then I got charged Since I was a no show. I cancelled on my phone.
Great place to stay!
Good location
I thought I had rented a room with 2 beds, however when we arrived it was a king bed and a sleep sofa. The sleep sofa was tiny and the room didn’t quite accommodate 4 people. The room itself was a nice room, just didn’t meet our needs.
Very dated and dirty property.
No parking...
If you drive a pickup or SUV don't expect to be able to park in the garage at their downtown Indianapolis location. The maximum vehicle height is 6'8". It was 8 degrees outside and I had to walk 2 miles in the cold from an off-site parking area, and I had to pay a $30 parking fee to do it. They didn't even have a shuttle service for me to utilize to get back to my vehicle the next day. ABSOLUTELY NOT IMPRESSED. I will not be staying with Embassy Suites again. I travel for business and I will make sure to avoid at all cost.
Everything
Super easy to park..love that you can get in and out easy. Rooms are super clean, staff was very accommodating.
Fine
Need updated old falling apart needs remolding
I love this hotel! Everything was great, it’s a top tier facility!
Very nice hotel would definitely highly recommend
Good
Great spot to stay for Pacers game. The mall has been sold and does not have many stores.
Run down
Staff was friendly but the rooms are run down
Great location and clean, quick to check in. Only complaint was we booked a king size bed and they gave us two smaller beds instead. Good breakfast!
Parking is not included. The garage connected to the hotel is a separate charge.
Room corner was peeling and drywall chunks on floor
Great time in Indy
Courteous staff and large/clean/comfortable room. Good breakfast but coffee not acceptable(liquid dispenser)-I’d expect better and that is the only ding on our stay(walked to Panera for better coffee).
Close to everything and nice staff
Hotel is very centrally located. Visited for a football game. Easy walk to the stadium. Free breakfast and cocktail party were very appreciated. Only downside was that one set of elevators was not working and you would have to line up in the lobby to wait for the two remaining elevators. There were times when the lines were very long.
B1G Championship Game Hotel Stay
Easy check-in, the ladies at the front desk were so nice, helpful, and informative. The room was nice and clean. We will be staying here again next year for the B1G Championship game.
The room was not in the best shape. The shower water never got hot. The shampoo bottle was empty the ceiling looked like it was peeling away. The bathroom door and shower door woule not stay close. The bed was average at best. Not what i would expect from embassy suites. Breakfast was good and staff was great on the other hand.
they ONLY had half of elevators working
Walkable to Lucas Oil Stadium and clean. Elevator was broken so took forever to get to room or down to lobby
I absolutely loved staying here. The staff was amazing and the amenities are great. It’s in walking distance to lots of shopping and dining options. Will definitely stay here again!
It was Pretty nice place
Ballroom Dancing Trip
We always enjoy staying at the Embassy Suites downtown Indy, when we have a dance at the Indiana Roof Ballroom. We always enjoy the friendly staff, and the nice, clean hotel.
We went during Taylor Swift weekend. The hotel was sold out. The service could not have been better! All of the staff was helpful, friendly, and just great in general. We had a corner suite, and it exceeded our expectations. We will be back!
Embassy Suites Hilton went all out for the Taylor Swift weekend and it made it an incredible experience. Free drinks for happy hour and breakfast included. I imagine they were quite busy turning over rooms and ours was clean and welcoming. Thank you Embassy Suites Hilton!
Great staff
Great stay and great staff!!!!
The property was clean and the staff were welcoming, but that's about the only positive things. There are only 2 elevators working in the entire place and the line just to go upstairs was always at least 15 minutes long. Unacceptable. At breakfast, there weren't enough places to sit so we had to just wander around. Next, there was loud music in the lobby starting at 06:30 on Sunday morning that immediately woke us up. Lastly, we were on the property for about 19 hours total and had to pay $94 for parking. $50 to get into the lot and then another $44 to leave. What a joke. I won't stay here again. Plenty of better places in downtown Indy.
The shift changing of employees sometimes created a problem because of the wait time experience.
It was nice
Terrible
Couple elevators down, that's the only knock. Wasn't sure how parking worked, but figured it out.
Pet friendly but you have to walk a country mile to any grass area. Beds are so out of date, too soft. No firmness whatsoever m.
The only thing I would complain about is the parking is more than parking for a week at an airport. Everyone at the front desk is friendly and helpful.
Great experience and great room
Hotel was clean and the room spacious. Breakfast was excellent. So many homeless people begging for money outside was disheartening.
Enjoyable trip
We had a great time in Indy. This hotel is difficult to find; the front entrance is somewhat hidden at the parking garage entrance. Service personnel were great; breakfast was good and we got drink tickets for Happy Hour for both nights we stayed, which was nice. We were disappointed Friday & Saturday that the hotel bar & restaurant were closed at 10. Two elevators work & two do not, so waiting on an elevator was a bit annoying during peak times. Overall, I would stay here again.
Close to Lucas oil
Upon arrival, a staff member greeting me outside and informed me where to park. Walking into the hotel smelt amazing! The front desk concierge greeted me and got me into my room swift and without a problem. Happy hour was good as well as the service from the bartender. Breakfast was great! I love how workers continued to check on us asking if we needed anything. I would definitely recommend!
Spacious room
Close to Lucas oil Stadium
Staff was very helpful and very nice. Rooms were very clean. Loved the location
I love the customer service
Loved the people- everyone was very nice and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay again!!
We had such a good stay here! Honestly we had such a amazing time! We loved the location it was close to downtown and was close to every type of food joint you could think of! Now the reason i didnt give it a 5 stars is because our room had some paint peeling on the bathroom ceiling which wasnt to big of a deal more a cosmetic thing but the main reason for 4 stars is because of the wait at breakfast in the mornings and the elevators. This is a large hotel and that means a lot of people and they are always busy, but we waited an hour for nore food to be put out on the breakfast buffet, then like i said the hotel is LARGE and busy but they only had 2 of their 4 elevators going so you either had to wait 30 minutes for a elevator or take the stairs. Guest were even using the service elevator. We spoke with several people who told us they stay there multiple times a year and they havent seen all the elevators working at once in a long time. Overall like i said our stay was amazing the room was clean the hotel itself was very nice it was just some little things. I will definitely stay there again!
Great job to the staff. Great people
The hotel itself was nice, but there were many issues. The fact that every single time we needed to leave the room it took 20 minutes to get an elevator ride was crazy. Multiple elevators were broken down and evidently have been for a long time. They charge too much and make too much for them to not be fixed in a timely fashion. Then when we try to take the stairs the doors on the stairs are locked? Absolutely insane and a fire hazard. The breakfast was out of something every time we went, the pop machines weren’t working right, the milk broke the second day, etc. etc. charging $44 to park while you’re staying at the hotel and have already paid a good amount for the room is crazy to me. It was nice to get two complimentary drink tickets, but they could only be used from 5:30-7:00 and not even at the bar. Many things were frustrating about the stay, but the room was clean and nice. I liked that we had multiple places within the room to get ready.
Amazing
Overall really enjoyed stay. Clean and friendly staff. Good location, the reception they have each night is also nice. 2 of the 4 elevators are out so waits at elevators can be long. House keeping just skipped us one day which was frustrating because did not have towels or coffee in the morning.
Appreciate all
It was good.
Great stay! But shower could use a deep clean.
Parking was simple despite the parking garage being painted; the crew stopped work to let us through each time as needed. We were initially confused where to go when we arrived; but another guest directed us up one floor to the 4th floor lobby. The lobby was nice and clean, bright, and open. Check in was quick and easy. Despite two of the 4 main elevators being closed and being replaced, we never waited more than a minute to get an elevator; and most frequently waited only a mater of seconds. Our room appeared to have been recently updated and looked very nice. The sofa was a bit lumpy; you could feel the frame of the fold out bed. The view out the window was nice. The breakfast was phenomenal, and frankly all the staff we encountered during our stay were, too. The only real issue we had was what appeared to be some mold in the corners of the shower, which I did my best to ignore.
Questionable
When we first arrived, there needs to be something that states that you have to pay a fee a day for parking. If I’m paying for a hotel I shouldn’t have to pay for parking next. We were placed in a room that was absolutely horrendous. It had water markings on the floor, where it looked like something had leaked. The fuse box was exposed, and it smelled strongly of mold. We switched rooms where it was semi clean they left someone’s old eyeliner make up by the dresser so you can tell that it was not properly cleaned then to top it off. The filter in the room was not changed since 2020. Very disgusting. Those things are supposed to be changed every three months on the plus side the complementary breakfast was great all the staff there were very pleasant and the cocktail hour was a plus they did also have two sets of elevators one was down, which made it very difficult for that huge hotel to be able to keep up all in all the trip was not bad. I just wish the rooms were kept up.
I wish I asked the staff what sheets and pillows and mattress topper they used before I left.
The elevators were broken. One of our rooms, the pull out couch was broken and there was no shampoo and body wash in the shower.
My favorite place to stay in Indianapolis.
The suite was small and the extra $100 on top of the $231 I already paid is uncalled for. That price is too much for one night
Great stay, always enjoy happy hour and breakfast. Bathroom was a bit dirty, hair on toilet seat and sink top
There was a plumbing issue going on, so the room we were placed in didn't smell great - like at all. We called and reported it, and after a little bit of time, we were moved to a new room. New room was great, with only minor things to report (loose bath towel bar and one of the door handle bars was only connected at one of the two places). Good nights sleep, and good breakfast.
One night stay
We stayed for one night. The rooms were nice and the hotel was clean but only 2 elevators were working except for the morning we were leaving and only 1 elevator was working. It was very busy in the hotel so there was a line to use the elevators. Yes there are stairs but we were on the 15th floor and we had our luggage. That was very inconvenient and many family’s with young children were taking the stairs. I would think they would have had someone there fixing the elevators for the amount of people that were staying at the hotel. There was a concert and football game happening so the hotel was crowded.
Horrible
Our room smelled like urine really strong, wasn't clean. The room wasn't ready. 3 elevators were out took over 30 minutes or more to get up and down to our room and was over capacity every time.
Good stay, but confusing!
Embassy Suites has amazing, helpful employees because I had A LOT of questions. There is not much signage, so, for my first time there, I wasn't sure how to get to the front desk, where to park my car, or even how to get out of the parking garage! A nice gentleman (could have been a valet if the hotel had that service) outside the hotel told me how to get to the front desk, including where the ramp was to park my car; Tre'quan (forgive my spelling) helped me get from the parking garage to the hotel, even walking me to the elevator. Two valets at the Conrad Hotel helped me get back to the Embassy when I "got turned around" after trying to find the Fieldhouse. The map offered at the main desk of Embassy still lists the venue as Banker's Life Fieldhouse. The gentleman who checked me into the hotel was very patient; however, I was so worried about where to park my car, I missed him telling me what time breakfast is served. Again, there were not even reminders in my room about breakfast times. My room was very spacious, and the bathroom was especially nice. Unfortunately, the shower door wouldn't stay closed, and there is a raised "ledge" between the hallway and the bathroom entrance. I had to be careful, but at least there were safety bars in the shower. Breakfast was excellent, with great choices and plenty of seating. I would definitely come back, but, for this first time, I was really confused.
The pictures and reviews must be old because the property is pretty rundown. One of the two elevators were not working, the pool was closed, both rooms that I got switched to have signs of water damage on the ceiling of the bathrooms, the a/c smelled like it was damp and musty and the carpets were filthy. The WiFi never worked, even after complaining three times to the front desk and some of the staff are not friendly. I will be staying at a different hotel on my next visit as reviews are deceiving.
This was our first visit to your hotel, and we found it a bit confusing, from parking to finding the front desk and the breakfast area (hidden around the corner). I will say the staff were all very helpful, especially the parking garage guys!
Was a good hotel and it’s time but the rooms are all old and need refurbishing. Staff was very nice entrance Into the hotel is poor and very inconvenience
Great!
We stayed here because we were in town for DCI. The rates were fair. The one thing that I was not happy about, was the 100.00 per night for " Incidentals"!! When I booked it through a third party service, nothing was said about it! That was not something I was prepared for! A few great things about this hotel was the pool and hot tub area! The pool was so clean and not too much chlorine, and it was warm! The hot tub was wonderful! It was very clean and was the perfect temperature! They have " made to order" breakfast, which is like omelets and specially prepared eggs! They have such a variety of breakfast foods! We had a King size suite and the bed was so comfortable, it felt like we were sleeping on a cloud! The room had 2 flat screen TV's and a sitting area with a pull out couch! 2 sinks with counter space, and a nice open floor plan! They provided nice smelling body wash, shampoo, conditioner and lotion! Our one night stay was good, except for the Incidentals fee, and parking fee! I understand that Indianapolis is a big city, but if you're a guest at their hotel, the parking should be included, and they should let third-party services know about the 100.00 per night fee! All in all, if you're looking for a hotel with a pool, hot tub, work out facility and great breakfast, Embassy Suites is your place! Plus it is walking distance to restaurants and other entertainment!
Our room was very nice and staff are super kind and helpful! Walking distance to dining, shopping, and events. Would recommend!
I liked that it was close to my event
We were put in an accessible room with a view of a wall. This was not the room we reserved. They would not move us saying the hotel was full. We paid $327 for a room we didn’t even want to be in! Very disappointed. This was for our anniversary.
We were attending all day conferences at the convention center with our small children. I highly recommend this hotel as it met every possible accommodation to allow the experience enjoyable: walkway to the convention center & great dining nearby, free and fantastic breakfast at the hotel, clean swimming pool/hot tub, complimentary evening snacks, the room was amazing for a fair price, and the staff were super friendly and did a great job of tending to the dining areas efficiently and with a smile. HIGHLY recommend this hotel and will continue to book at Hilton Embassy Suites again in the future. My kids didn’t complain one bit during the entire 5 day stay - that’s a HUGE plus and greatly in part because the stay made it so easy.
Great service!
Jen at the front desk was amazing, friendly, and understanding! She made the stay at the hotel stress free so that my family and I could enjoy all that Indy had to offer.
The happy hour at this hotel is the best! Definitely made my stay worth it.
Very satisfied
Great stay. Great updates to the hotel. Omelettes were good and fresh.
The staff was very kind and helpful
I love the entrance of this hotel- Made me feel secure
Close to my convention. Parts of room never cleaned during stay. I did like that the towels were changed daily.
No help with parking after check in. Had to direct traffic so we could maneuver to self park. Need attendant to assist check ins.
The elevators weren’t working and the parking fee was extreme.
The kitchen staff was phenomenal and kind
It was nice
Great location
Night out.
The place was amazing! The hotal was way more amazing than I thought it would be . Complementary snacks and drinks and the breakfast was amazing. The pool and Hot Tub were nice and relaxing. Easy walk to anywhere.
Perfect for me! :)
Mia checked me in & was very kind & professional. The hotel is gorgeous with great amenities and the room are very nice & spacious.
Room was kinda dirty found some stains and small debris on floor
I like this property.
Attended seminar in nearby hotel- sky walk was very convenient
No hot water in the morning I would like a refund
Na
No Valet, parking garage attached is a joke! Stood in line for 45 minutes just to get checked in. It was past 4pm and rooms were still not available for that days check-ins.
Clean. Showers worked great quick checkin on a full day
Good for location, not cleanest
The location is great for walking to the Colts stadium and downtown restaurants but the room was not clean. Found several long black hairs in the shower (I’m blonde). Long lines to check in. Free breakfast was nice
