when getting a hotel, even though you guys are individually own properties that you’re renting out as short-term living stays! You’re supposed to make sure that the places as convenient as possible. The towels were extremely hard, there were no towels to put on the floor to help the room stay clean. I had to use the whole big towel. There was no soap in the room. I had to ask for soap which was later on brought to me. There was no water, Tea no type of beverages whatsoever. Being Not from Ghana, coming from a whole other state it wasn’t easy for me to originally find water which I did but the first night was so inconvenience. There was no type of basic necessities in that room. Upon check-in I think they knocked on my door over 10 times asking me if I was somebody else, it was just very unprofessional and hopefully the next person who comes into the room does not have to experience the same thing that I experienced.

NO TV, NO HOT WATER. GIVEN A FALSE EXCHANGE RATE BY THE PERSON COLLECTING THE MONEY, WHICH RESULTED IN A HIGHER COST THAN WHAT EXPEDIA QUOTED ON LINE. EXPEDIA NEEDS TO MONITOR THIS PERSON WHO IS SCAMMING YOUR CUSTOMERS. EXPEDIA OWES US THE EXTRA MONEY COLLECTED BY THAT GREETER.

The property itself is beautiful outside and inside the facility however with the rooms lighting is bad, especially for the ladies doing makeup is going to trouble. They don’t have mirrors to do a full look of yourself. Outlets aren’t universal. My WiFi wasn’t working for 3 days I brought it up couple of times they kept saying it fixed. It was a custodian who came to clean my room who mentioned “ your WiFi is finished” before I knew what was going on- I had to call and tell them this before they “topped it up”. Custodian had to push a knife in the outlet to plug the facility’s iron in because it wasn’t even compatible with the outlet. The cleaners keep extra cleaning stuff in rooms and they come knocking on the door, wake you up to grab stuff from your room for other rooms. Overall embarrasy suites is in a good area, close to osu and east legon, nice campus but the rooms aren’t good and the many interruptions and inconvenience listed above.

It was clean. Comfy bed. But lacking any dish towels or washcloths. Or bath mat and needs more towels. And more kitchen utensils and s coffee maker would have been nice. People coming from other countires cant haul all that stuff with them .

Bedding don’t get changed for 5 days, room not cleaned in about the same time, washing machine, microwave weren’t working was finding it hard to even open my room door with keys given to me. It’s one of the horrible experiences I’ve had in ages.

Stayed at this property multiple times. But the condition of the unit was not up to speck. White Wall leading to upper level badly needs painting. Linen has seen better days. White duvet Looked rather grubby and faded. Pillows and covers also need sprucing up.Only a bath towel provided. No hand towel. A cheap red shower mat provided. The owner of the unit needs to invest in upkeep.

Poor Visit.

Electric went out twice, 2nd time it was most of the day. Poor communication, only stay there 3 days, but the electric went out almost have the time. Elevators stop working, first day we got stuck on the elevator for abou 5-10 mins.

Not what I expected. Only one bath towel given. No detergent for the washing machine. Fire alarm went off in middle of the night. Most importantly the bed was so firm and we could not sleep well.

This was my third time staying at the Embassy Gardens and I was satisfied with the staff and the service during my first two stays. This time was different. The apartment was advertised as a one-bedroom duplex but there was no bedroom but rather an open landing upstairs with a bed. The service I received was also very poor. After the first day when I paid for the stay, it was downhill. The host was not responsive to my requests. It took several calls for me to get an iron. Toilet paper was rationed; had no paper towel until the 3rd day. The lady on duty during my last day was inept. She didn't answer my calls and took her time to call back. I asked for assistance to take my luggage from the 3rd floor to the lobby and she told me that there was nobody available to help. I told her to expect a bad review and she didn't even offer an apology

This is the grossest hotel I have ever stayed and in! I changed rooms 4x and shortened my vacation after the 4th. The 1st room had a foul odor, unclean and had roaches, 2nd room had a really foul smell right outside the room in hallway, 3rd room was on 1st floor but sliding glass doors wouldn’t lock, 4th room appeared Ok until I started itching in bed and saw what appeared to be bed bugs and then I saw a roach on my phone charger so I immediately shortened my stay. The shower was moldy, cracks on the wall and dust everywhere. Housekeeping DO NOT clean or change sheets. No toiletries, a bucket for trash cans in most rooms. The towels are like sandpaper and very dingy. I don’t think they even change sheets between guests. The mattress was stained with blood in fourth room. I started coughing during my stay and still doing so, going to see my doctor to see what’s going on. Avoid this place at all costs for your health! This is a Petri dish of germs! This place should be shut down!

It was a lovely stay. Very clean. The staff was polite and helpful. Only complaint was the tv network wasn’t always available. The remote also needed fresh batteries. I didn’t like having to towe my own trash to the lower level as instructed to do so by the cleaning staff. Otherwise good experience.

I was a solo traveler. I had several issues. When I went there the lock on the slide door was spoiled. The door wouldn’t close had to call someone to fix it. I went out shortly after arriving. When I got back to the room I had no wifi. The manager said I used up the allowed amount( I explained to him that I was not in the room so he gave me addition megabites). So I had to be plugging out the wifi each time I leave the room so that the wifi wouldn’t run out. There was no wifi in the lobby area. Lastly, I was in the room naked and someone was opening the door I had to scream. The guy said he forgot I was there. The only good things about it is that taxis are outside and it seem to be a safe area. Everything else was a 2/10. Would not book with place again. Never.

I ended up booking my stay at this property after my initial booking at Accra Luxury Apartments at the Lennox was cancelled by the property two hours before landing in Accra. The property manager of the apartment I stayed in was excellent with communication immediately after my booking. My friends and I each booked a different room and we were all happy. The property is clean and well staffed. There is a cafe on site that you can buy freshly squeezed juice, smoothies, breakfast dishes and main dishes as well. There is some room for improvement but I would stay here when I return once again. The location is excellent, right by the US Embassy. You are close to many dining options and I always felt safe while staying at the property.

The property is really nice. Well known by the drivers. Close to the airport. They only thing I didn’t like was there was no airport shuttle as advertised. Traveling solo I book hotels based on knowing I’ll have someone there waiting to pick me up. I was nervous when I arrived and they told me I had to get there by getting a taxi.

I love the way the apartment itself was set up. Everything eas clean and someone was there every time I called for assistance. Checking in was simple as well. Good spot in Accra

The Embassy Gardens is a nice condo building with dedicated staff that clean the complex daily; the in unit cleaning staff seems to come every 2 days. The unit itself was nice, comfortable and modern. The property manager was very responsive and the location was amazing for getting around. Easy access to Ubers and bolts. However there was a broken mirror and a broken towel holder that I had to call to get fixed (the broken mirror was never fixed). The bed sheets and towels had holes in them and seemed quite old and the couch was half broken.
