Nice room with really cold floor but really hot water. Great location, make sure pay attention for check in details, or you’ll end up wandering around in circles looking for entrance and reception. Noise from street will disturb a light sleeper, but comfortable bed will compensate.

If you have a car and traveling with luggage, this hotel is not for you. Finding a parking is very hard. The hotel advertised "free off-site parking" is a lie. They are referring to the city public parking. I recommend Expedia to have them change that. We wouldn't booked that hotel knowing that. Our room had a wood seeling. Very noisy. One plus for the hotel is its location.

The accommodation was perfect! Very close to the central bus station for cheap trips to the beach if desired. My accommodation was right at the old city’s centre and it was lovely. A bit noisy at night as there are singers that perform on the streets but that stops around 11 pm. The hotel staff were always present and very accommodating and nice. Would highly recommend!

Will Definitely Stay Again

The staff were all very friendly and plenty of them speak English. The condition of the room was fanatic! Even though the building is very old, since it’s located in the center of “Old Town Chania”, inside you’d swear you’re in a newly built luxury hotel. Very centrally located for walking everywhere!

The place is clean located in an area that is very convenient for shopping and dinning.

Was so central to everything. The room was absolutely stunning. The price is so competitive as well. I would 100 percent go back to this lovely hotel

Staffs are very nice and helpful and even provided us a welcome drink and traditional snacks. The room was clean, stylish and comfortable. The hotel is well located and there is an old market nearby. The only drawback was it was noisy on Saturday night during our stay since there was a bar nearby. However, the hotel provided us earplugs. So generally speaking, we had a nice stay here.

Amazing choice!

I couldn't make a better choice! This hotel-boutique is in the heart of Chania. Walking distance to everything: restaurants, stores, harbour, beach, bus station. The room is sooo stylish and unique like nowhere else. You will love to stay in this hotel. I would love to get back!

Great spot.

A great little room right in the heart of the old town. The service was excellent. The only negative was slow/unreliable Wi-Fi. Would happily stay at the hotel next time in Chania.

Great room - super comfy bed (memory foam), amazing showe and jacuzzi. Great location - nothing is more than 5min away, literally. Great service - reception is always happy to help with anything, be it a reservation or any tips. Only drawback is that there's a bit of noise from the bar down the street and the floor was creaking when people were walking upstairs rooms.

Cute hotel in Old City of Chania

The room was exactly as shown in the photos: clean, with a bit of character. You check in down the street at another one of the Elia Hotels. All of the staff at the desk are absolutely lovely and warm and helpful. Getting to Elia Kentron involves climbing a whole bunch of stairs. Be warned-- this hotel is not for folks with mobility issues. The beds are comfortable, shower was really especially nice. They helped us call a cab to get back to the airport (~25Euro each way.) We loved our winter stay in Chania, when we felt like the only tourists in town and really could see what Greeks in Crete actually do. The city is still gorgeous, and there was plenty to do for our 3 days there.

Great hotel for a honeymoon

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Elia Kentron. The room was always immaculate when cleaned and all the amenities where spot on. It's very centrally located and is a perfect base to explore the rest of the Chania Prefecture. Easliy walkable to all the shops and restaurents, and about 5 minutes to the venetian port. If you rent a car, there's usully plenty of parking right next to the hotel as the access is next to the main Agora parking. It also has easy access to the main road through which you can access the main highway.

Superb location and a lovely little hotel.

I couldn't have asked for a better place. The location in the old city was fantastic, a short walk to everything. The staff were very helpful and went over and above. I felt well taken care of with the other Elia sister hotels as well. The room was adorable and was kept very clean and tidy. I had the best sleeps! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic holiday in Chania.

Cozy Hotel

Very clean very nice staff. Location of the hotel was excellent accessible to old town which is the main attraction to Chania, Crete

Great location for everyone. You have to walk a bit to get to a beach. The hotel has a sister property that is a beach resort but is is pretty far to walk. The hotel is in the heart of the old part of town and great for walking around and enjoying Chania.

Fantastic Hotel

Great hotel, nothing like the usual Greek Hotels. Great character to the rooms, everything worked, fantastic showers, coffee machine, fridge in room. Simply way beyond the normal.

Everything was perfect

Great apartment-style hotel. My partner and I had a lovely room with a hot tub, a great balcony overlooking the pedestrian zone in central Chania. The apartment was spacious, clean, great air conditioning (a must for Chania in the summer). The apartments were literally 5 minutes from everywhere on foot. If you wanted to get food, there was a strip of late night souvlaki places. If you wanted to see the archaeological museum, 5 minute walk. If you wanted to see the harbor, 5 minute walk. If you wanted to go to Chania's best escape room, 5 minute walk. The concierge / manager was absolutely incredible. She was incredibly helpful, answered all of our questions, offered good suggestions and was vital helping us out of a crisis. My partner broke her ankle while we were exploring the city. Navigating the medical system of another country is always nerve wracking. Thankfully, the concierge guided us through Chania's medical system, sending us to a great clinic where my partner received great care. I would gladly stay here again.

Hotel was recently renovated and was fantastic. One little problem the room we stayed in had bars just outside and the music didn't stop till after 5am. You get used to it though. Great place for a couple getaway

Brand new hotel suites in Old Town Chania.

Location is right in Old Chania Town, near restaurants shopping and the Venetian harbour. KTEL bus stop also close if needed. Only downside is that you need to call ahead to check-in or walk to Elia Be told (close by) if you are unable to call. Public (pay) parking lot right by the entrance (next to Central Marketplace). Would definitely stay again.

Awesome Chania spot

This is a great hotel in Chania near the Med and directly in the heart of all the nighttime action. It can be a little noisy in the area after hours, but the entire city is like that really.

(English trl further down). Otroligt trevlig personal, rum, och allmänna närheten – men entrédörren till hotellet ligger i en dåligt belyst gränd som jag först trodde var baksidan till hotellet. Vilket ärligt talat fick det att kännas lite otryggt om jag kom tillbaka efter solnedgången (ca 18:00) eftersom jag inte kunde se allting runt omkring mig. Särskilt eftersom jag reste ensam. MEN, Kentron är väldigt centralt placerad med en massa restauranger och saker att göra i närheten, så om du inte har något emot var entrédörren är placerad så tror jag du kommer ha en otrolig fin vistelse. Rummet och hotellet i sig var riktigt trevliga och fina, och personalen hjälpsamma. . (English trl). Really nice staff, rooms and general area - but the entry door to the hotel was placed in a pretty badly lit alley which I first thought was the backside of the hotel. Which honesty made it feel a bit unsafe if I got back after sunset (around 6pm) since I couldn’t see all my surroundings clearly. Especially since I was travelling alone. HOWEVER, Kentron is very central placed with a lot of restaurants and things to do nearby, so if you don't mind where the entry door is placed I think you will have an amazing time. The room and the hotel itself was really nice, and the staff incredibly helpful. .

We had a rom at the ground floor. We heard every step and everything from the room over us on the next floor. Not much sleep ...

Die Unterkunft fällt aus dem Rahmen. Die Einrichtung des Zimmers und Bades fanden wir sehr geschmackvoll und originell. Die Lage, im Zentrum, ist super. Der Check-in in einem weiteren Gebäude der Elia-Gruppe war weniger gut. Die junge Frau an der Rezeption zeigte uns zwar kurz in welche Richtung, wir gehen mussten, aber da hätte ich mir eine Begleitung gewünscht (auch für Fragen des Zimmers, z.B. Safe und TV betreffend).

Hôtel très propre et très bien situé. Si ce n'était ps de la musique de la boîte juste à côté qui se termine tôt le matin, cet endroit serait parfait.

Musique toute la nuit

Si vous appréciez ne pas dormir de la nuit c’est parfait. Il y a un bar qui ferme à 6h du matin et vous entendrez la musique tonitruante dans votre chambre

Το Elia Kentro ειναι ενα ξενοδοχειο ιδανικο για οσους θελουν να ζησουν τη πολη των Χανιων.Ειναι διπλα σε ολα.Στην αγορα στο παλιο λιμανι στη παλια πολη στα αξιοθεατα.Πολυ καθαρο με εξτρα περιποιηση.

Good value at central location

Very good location, but it might be difficult to find a parking spot close by on weekdays. The breakfast had a fair price, but was served at another hotel of the same group located 2 minutes away. Overall it was a good value, the place was fresh, clean and the room was rather big. Our main concern was the speed of the wi-fi.

Rent og hotel i centrum

Vores ophold på hotellet var OK. Man passer sig selv, da der ikke er nogen reception. Man bor lige midt i centrum, som derfor giver en del uro, også om natten. Men det ved man jo. Rengøringen var helt i top. Værelset er udstyret med kaffe automat, men da vi havde vores egen kaffe med. Forespurgte vi om en kaffemaskine, kort tid efter stod en el kedel og en bodum kaffekande. Et sted vi godt kan anbefale til dem der gerne vil bo i centrum og mærke byens puls.

NYRENOVERT OG STILIG OVERNATTINGSSTED

Vi bodde 3 på rommet. Det var grei størrelse på rommet med stor balkong som gikk rundt hjørnet på hotellet med utsikt ned på gågatene i gamlebyen med sitt yrende shoppingliv og restauranter. Boblebad var plassert i rommet - ikke på badet. Delikat bad. Inngangen til hotellet er på baksiden, noe bortgjemt, men med stilfull opplysning om kvelden. Til nærmeste strand er det 20 min. gange - Nea Chora - en fin morgentur!

Een aanrader in hartje Chania

Zeer comfortabel, grote kamers met veel oog voor detail. Midden in het centrum, maar geen overlast van lawaai o.d. Uitstekend ontbijt in het tegenoverliggende hotel. Een zeer goede prijs/kwaliteits verhouding en zeer attent en vriendelijk personeel.

Sehr schönes Hotel. Sehr sauber und top Lage. Man ist quasi direkt im Stadtzentrum und 5 Gehminuten vom schönen Hafen entfernt. Erfüllt alle Erwartungen!
