Cannot fault this property. The staff were very attentive, the facilities great and the room clean and comfortable. Those with fitness/mobility issues should note it's quite a steep 10 minute walk to Oia, but it's quieter this side of the island and still very convenient. Highly recommended.

It was a little walk to the actual city but it was very convenient to stay in a quiet place. Breakfast was excellent and the front desk lady was very helpful and kind.

We had a beautiful open 2 story studio with 2 terraces one with a beautiful ocean view. Second had a individual pool/jacuzzi. Breakfast served every morning on terrace. Very comfortable bed, although watch your head when upstairs low clearance. Overall everything was beautiful. Eva and Margarita both very helpful, booked ATV and coordinated pickup and dropoff and suggested several restaurant.

Amazing place to relax and enjoy the view, their pool and some quiet time! After a 2 week adventure around Greece, this was a perfect way to relax. The staff are extremely helpful, suitcases delivered to the room, complimentary bottle of wine with fruit as welcome gift and breakfast brought to your room! Walkable distance to the shopping and restaurants. The reception staff arranged reservations at a wonderful restaurant for dinner and transportation to the airport.

Elea is a quite, quaint, clean and relaxing resort located in Oia. We enjoyed our stay and I recommend this for couples!

We had an amazing stay.

The resort is beautiful.We enjoyed our swim in the infinity pool. We also used our hot tub every night. It was so relaxing. The breakfast is so good. You get variety each day. We decided to eat dinner there on our last night and sat by the pool area to witness the sunset. It was a great experience. The food was delicious. The staff were very nice and friendly. I highly recommend this place.

The property is nice and clean. It is quiet and pleasant, the pool is super nice and have a nice view. Breakfast is brought to your room which was amazing to have. Overall, the resort was beautiful and a great way to relax. Margarita was very nice and helpful. I would recommend the resort and stay there again.

Our stay here was terrible and ruined our experience in Santorini as the air conditioning to our unit was broken. These buildings get incredibly hot - we were given a fan and told that’s all they could do after working with the hotel to fix it until nearly 1am. We weren’t able to get any quality rest. The hotel did nothing to reimburse us or compensate for this issue. In addition the bathrooms are incredibly small and leave a lot to be desired in terms of cleanliness. The miniature hygiene product bottles were clearly used and only halfway full that were left for us.

I book the apartment that has a kitchen,which i notice when i arrived it was not allowed to use ,which was disappointed, but ok the services was excellent anyway

First off - Ana and Nick were terrific! The in-suite breakfast delivered to our villa each morning was amazing. Delicious and beautifully presented. The bed was very comfy however, the bathroom was small and humidity was a bit of an issue. Having our own hot tub was a absolute plus. If you want peace and quiet with the option of a 7 minute walk to town (shopping, dinning and the scenic blue domes) this is the place to be. If you’re coming from the US remember to bring a converter as various ones the hotel lent us did not work for our devices.

We had an amazing time at this resort! The staff was so helpful and attentive! I had an amazing body scrub, massage, and facial that lasted 2 hours...best of my life! Highly recommend this property!

Very good service and accommodation

Absolutely loved this hotel. We had a private hot tub. We didn’t book the swimming pool room as it wasn’t heated. Staff were amazing and breakfast was delivered to your room. It was a steep walk to get to the central area so not ideal for those with mobility issues unless you have a car. Would definitely visit again! Highly recommend

Great option to stay in Santorini. We had a great time while in the resort.

Customer service was amazing. Pool had dirt in it because Santorini is a dusty area. Hotel overall was amazing. Downside had no wifi or reception in our room. And there appears to be some form of a rubbish dumb behind the neighbours hotel(not sure if its illegal dumping).

Great resort. Great staff!!

Elea Resort was beautiful and in great walking distance to everything wonderful in Oia. The staff really made our stay exceptional, especially Nick our bartender/server. He served our breakfast outside of our room each morning with a smile and everyone was just lovely. The Breakfast was similar each day but plentiful and filling to start our day. Highly recommend

A beautiful small hotel with an amazing view of the sea and Santorini’s stunning sunsets. Just on the outskirts of Oia it’s an oasis of peace from the crowds of town. There is quite a steep hill walk into town that might need to be taken into account. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the pools, sun loungers and spacious grounds are lovely. I would highly recommend.

Elea Resort

It was fabulous. More than expected.

I loved the cozy feel of the rooms, the views were breathtaking you can walk to the shops to the bus pick up, all the restaurants or to the caldera to see the sunset or sit pool side and watch the sunset in the infinity pool. The staff members were so accommodating and the hotel food was good also! Best fresh squeezed orange juice served every morning with breakfast

From the moment we arrived the personal service was exceptional. The facilities are excellent and staff were very helpful. We were delivered a wonderful breakfast to our suite daily which was top class.

Luxury within walking distance of the town of Oia. Staff and accommodation were amazing.

This is a quiet more private hotel, more mom and pop style and personalized service. Everyone is very helpful, informative and will go above and beyond. Private hot tubs and breakfast served on your balcony. Would definitely come back !! Shopping and restaurants are a short walk away

The best staff from any where I have been. Like family. Will go the extra mile to make you comfortable. Ran out of cigarettes and the barman Nicko sent someone to bring my brand from the supermarket. Cannot recommend enough. Have to stay and see.

Great resort

We had a good time, they were very friendly and helpful.

Had a minor problem checking in as we booked the room through a 3rd party website after their office was closed so the reservation didnt come through on their end. The hotel staff was really nice and welcoming and ensured we were able to get checked in to our room that night. The hotel is very clean and is walking distance to the castle of Oia, nice caldera views and museum etc. Breakfast was great and on time. Would defi be recommend.

Terrible customer service

I didn’t get a chance to stay. I had a problem with my ferry and the hotel staff showed complete inflexibility to try to accommodate my situation. They had plenty of capacity to shift my night stay by 1 day. As a frequent traveler, I was shocked at the lack of flexibility from the management. If I was the hotel owner I would fire the manager. For the cost of 1 night they lost a loyal customer who would have visited again and again. I was not asking for my money back. All I wanted was a shift of dates when they had empty rooms.

We loved everything about this resort. The rooms and the pool areas are beautiful. The service is outstanding. We would highly recommend this property to anyone!

A slice of heaven in the middle of heaven. Elea Resort was such an amazing find. It’s away from the overcrowded, overpriced cliff side where paying 4 grand a night isn’t uncommon but you’re in a highly congested area. Elea provides a more serene side of Oia where you can watch the sunrise in peace and tranquility. The rooms are super nice and spacious. They offer a complimentary breakfast and meals all day as well as a full bar. The staff is just amazing: the lovely Constantine and Stella as well as the handsome Ahmed and amazingly cute George from Georgia( the country). The entire experience of Elea and Oia was life changing. Leaving was actually sad but gives me motivation to return. Thanks to the team for making my first visit to the Greek Isles a memory of a lifetime. σας ευχαριστώ

Beautiful, Amazing Hotel

My wife and I loved this hotel, only regret was we couldn't stay longer. Everything is beautiful and the staff is very welcoming. When we came in they told us they upgraded our room and then they sent a bottle of wine to our room. My wife is newly pregnant and we told them she wasn't drinking and they brought her a fruit juice. Very kind of them to keep that in mind. Room was wonderful and everything you would want out of a vacation. The best of all though was an amazing breakfast was brought to your room. We were in Heaven. Great place and you won't regret your stay.

Our stay at Elea was excellent from the moment we checked in up until the moment we checked out. Room was out of this world and breakfast being brought to the room every morning was above and beyond. Location is a short walk to Oía center. Zero complaints

Quit very clean very nice great staff close to shopping and dining

We had our own pool, beautiful views of the Aegean Sea and great breakfasts delivered to our room. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Christine, at the reception desk, is very friendly and always smiling. Also, the resort is very close to the best area called Oai. If I return to Santorini, I would definitely stay at the Elea Resort again.

Amazing hotel. 10 minute walk from the centre of Oia. Service from the staff was excellent in both the reception and at the pool bar. Towels provided on sun loungers was great and the staff were always quick to change old towels. Also provided gluten free breakfast for my partner as she is celiac which was great and a rarity! View from the pools and around the resort was astonishing. One of the nicest places I have stayed, couldn’t recommend any more!

Very nice hotel with great service

Extremely helpful staff they went out of their way to help with any requests you can have. The hotel is new and the rooms are adequate in size. The bathroom is also a good size. Breakfast is very good (fresh squeezed orange juice) and you can have it in your room at no extra charge. There is a jacuzzi outside of every room. You can also see the sunset from the hotel and avoid the crowd in Oia. The town is a 10-15 min walk (uphill).

The hotel is very good and in a great location for a peaceful stay and easy access to Oia centre. The only issues we had were with the staff, who were not very engaging and failed to follow up on some of the issues we raised. On the whole, it was a very pleasant stay. Breakfast was really goo.

Had an amazing time here. The hotel room was clean and very modern. We had our own heated private swimming pool that was amazing! Due to bad weather conditions we ended up arriving in Santorini one day late so we had a short stay of one night but it was amazing! Would come here again!

Beautiful hotel with amazing service

Elea resort was absolutely amazing! Everyone at the hotel was wonderful and extremely helpful. We didn’t have anything planned and ended up booking the most amazing private tour for one of the days. We highly recommend Elea!

Tranquil break

The hotel is in the perfect location a short amble from Oia town, beautifully laid out around two pools and very peaceful. The breakfast was superb as were the spa treatments and in every respect the service was first class.

Elea Resort was one of the most relaxing places I have every stayed. From the moment we walked onto the property, we knew it was a perfect fit for our honeymoon. I love that it was a smaller resort. The view from our room was AMAZING! We had a large private pool that overlooked the ocean. Each morning we had breakfast delivered to us. We also took advantage of their dinners and we were not disappointed. The staff was very attentive and helpful in booking excursions and spa treatments as well as getting us to and from the airport. Great location as well!!

Me, my mother and my sister stayed here for 4 nights to celebrate my sister’s 30th birthday! I cannot praise it enough, the staff are amazing and the location is beautiful. Would recommend to anyone.

Oia holiday

Nice place and good for its price in away and location is perfect for oia and sunset pictures staff are friendly and helpful everything is reachable from the hotel for oia shopping too.

We were more than pleased with our experience at Elea Resort. The customer service was beyond exceptional. The entire staff was pleasant and very accommodating. The resort is beautiful and the view amazing.

Quiet resort with small walk into town.

The resort was very pleasant to stay at while enjoying the island. The room was nice and the whole resort seemed to be very well taken care of with all the friendly staff. The only main issue we had was with our room. While the room was clean and ready for us, the air conditioning unit was not working correctly. While there were windows we could open and the resort staff brought us a small fan, it didn’t help much to keep the room cool. With the money it cost to stay at this resort, we expected a bit more of a quick solution to our problem with the air. Maybe switch us to a different room but giving us a fan should not be reasonable fix even if temporary for the cost of this resort. It’s hard to relax and enjoy your stay if your sweating trying to get a good nights rest.

Lovely hotel 10 minutes from Oia

Elea Resort was exactly what we were looking for...good location and views, relaxed atmosphere and a lovely room with private hot tub. The breakfast, served to our room each morning, was amazing! Easy walk into Oia (although take a torch!) but nicely away from the tourists.

Beautiful hotel in Oia

If you're looking to stay in Oia this hotel is beautiful and very well priced. 2 pools including an infinity pool overlooking then sea. 8 minute walk to the town of oia we walked at night and felt super safe. Amazing breakfast. Staff is A+

Lovely resort hotel with beautiful pools

Great hotel, off the beaten track but still close to Oia. Fabulous pools and scenery. We watched the sunset from here instead of battling tourists in Oia. Staff are friendly and the breakfast is amazing. Very relaxed. Only downside would be the pools are only open from 10am to 8pm so if you fancy an evening dip or getting up early for a swim, it's a no go.

GREEN ALGAE IN POOL!

This is a beautiful property with stellar staff (management aside). The food and service was on par with other five star resorts I have stayed at. Rooms were clean and well kept Which leads me to the bad part. The pool literally had ALGEA GROWING IN IT. There is no excuse. Upon bringing it to managements attention she immediately called the pool company after stating "he was just here last week". I am sorry but a resort with this many pools should be attended to daily. Someone was out the next morning and briefly brushed the pool down and still missed ALL the spots in my photos. I grew up with pools and she had the nerve to tell me that "maybe it's cream". Again, I am sorry but what pool has green cream literally growing on the pool? Long story short. They forced me to stay after telling them I wanted to leave while on my honeymoon. I cut my losses and checked out of this poorly managed hotel. I took my business to another hotel that didn't have green algae growing in the pool. I am still fighting with management for a refund of some sort but they said because nobody else complained and they have the water "checked daily" that they disagree with my claim. So you went from weekly to daily? Well my pictures say otherwise Elea Resort. This pool has a lot of stagnant water with poor circulation. It smells and probably needs to be totally redesigned/reconfigured. Pictures online were probably taken when it first opened. Please, do yourself a favor and take your business el

Well located hotel close to Oia center

Well appointed and well equipped hotel close to the center of the action in Oia. 5 minute walk from sunset lookout, just far enough away to also enjoy quiet moments around common pool or private pool or jacuzzi outside room. Staff works hard to be very accommodating. Rooms are tight but you're only there to sleep in between activities in Santorini.

Lovely Resort

The resort have the greatest view, so you don't even have to move to see the famous sunset. you have the option of car rental and could be delivered and returned right there. The staff are just amazing they truly understand that you are in vacations!

Excellent!!!!

Best experience ever. Located in a quiet part of Santorini but still close to all the shops and bus stop in oia. The service was perfect Julia from the resort looked after us really well , sorted out everything for us and recommended some amazing place for us to visit. She also went out of her way to help me plan a surprise proposal to my girlfriend. Thank you very much and will definitely visit again.

Amazing view of the sunset

Stayed here at the end of June, had a really nice time with all the staff so welcoming. Really made you feel special and added a personal touch to the whole holiday. Barmen, cleaners and owners were really friendly and knew you by name. Good food for those nights you want to stay in and watch the sunset from your room. Would recommend the Junior Suite as these have terraces that face the sunset. The hotel is just off the main road and a 6-8 minute walk into Oia. It is on a quiet road with very little traffic passing daily. It is down a hill on this road so not suitable for those finding it harder to walk. Would recommend to friends again and again!

Spotlessly clean Resort with excellent staff.

We enjoyed a relaxing 3 nights stay at The Elea Resort for our wedding anniversary. The room and facilities were spotless and the staff couldn't be more helpful. The free wifi in the room and communal areas was good and we had no problem connecting to make FaceTime calls back to the UK. There was a spa which had a jacuzzi, steam room and massages could also be arranged. We didn't use the facility, but they looked well kept and spotlessly clean also. The breakfasts were excellent. We actually struggled to finish them, but it set us up for the day ahead. There was a slight uphill 5 to 10 minute walk to the village centre. This was easily manageable if you took the more gradual path rather than the road. I suppose when a town is built on a cliff side, then there will be some uphill walking at some point. My only issue was that some rather noisy house sparrows had decided to nest in the volcanic bricks that our apartment was built with. This was totally out of the control of the hotel staff and I imagine the chicks will have flown the nest in a couple of weeks. Overall, a really relaxing few days in a beautiful village with excellent food and stunning scenery.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Elea Resort! From arrival the staff were friendly and approachable. The rooms were incredible, we stayed in a junior suite and it went above and beyond our expectations. We ate in the hotel and the food was very good, the inclusive breakfast is also a lovely touch and sets you up for the day! Absolutely beautiful hotel in a beautiful location and I cannot recommend enough! I am already planning on when I can arrange another trip to stay here! Thanks to Julia and all the staff for a lovely stay.

Beautiful hotel

Oia is beautiful, the hotel is lovely, breakfast served to the room every morning was nice, the hot tub was good! The rooms are fairly small bug staff were more than helpful nothing was too much trouble. It's a very romantic location. The hotel is slightly out of the town it only a 10 minute walk so it's fine. If you have difficulty walking or short of breath I wouldn't recommend this hotel as there is a very steep hill to walk up to get to the town. The hotel did say to us they are thinking of providing a shuttle bus service or something similar for next season. Overall a great place to stay

Awesome place, awesome location, Great Amenities

Room was awesome. We had a Superior Suite and it came with a balcony, outdoor jacuzzi, little nook area for coffee and wine. Overall, super modern, excellent staff, very convenient to the Oia Strip/Shopping center.

Nice comfortable stay

It was very well organized and maintained property. Service was good. Staff were very helpful. Specially the receptionist Anna Angelidaki. She showed us around the prop and tried to full fill all our requirements within very short notice. Really enjoyed our stay. The only drawback it's on the down hill side so every time you go out by foot there is an uphill climb. Still highly recommend for staying.

Perfection in Oía!

Amazing!!

This was one of the most beautiful stays of our honeymoon! From the moment we arrived to the minute we checked out this hotel was one of a kind with their professional service and friendly staff! The amenities were very beautiful and the room was just the best! A true highlight of Greece! I would recommend to anyone visiting Santorini and wanting to stay in a luxurious resort with breathtaking views of the sunset!

Expected better for the price

I expected much better for the price. Here were the issues... 1. The upstairs loft has a very low ceiling. I'm 5'7" and I regularly bumped my head. 2. Our outdoor hot tub was cold for the first night. The night manager tried to fix it but was unable to do so, and I guess no other rooms were available. They fixed it the next day but we booked this resort specifically for the hot tub, so it was disappointing that we couldn't use it for one of our two nights. They offered nothing (not even an apology) for what we considered a pretty big hiccup. 3. We went through our coffee pretty fast on the first morning so I requested that they bring a little more the second morning. Front desk responded with, "We will bring more when you finish the first one." This seems pretty rude, especially after the hot tub mishap 4. Check out is at 12. They called the room at 11:50 to rush us out because they had another guest coming in. I'm all for being punctual but this felt rude as it was not yet check out time. 5. The hot tub shutoff timer for the jets is 5 minutes. So just as you get relaxed you have to hit the button again.

Off the caldera, but worth it for sunsets+service!

Arrived and immediately found ourselves talking to Aphrodite and Anna about things to do in our quick 1.5 days. In less than 10 minutes, we were booked on a sunset catamaran that departed in just another 10 minutes! They were so helpful in arranging things; Anna even gave us great tips about our next stop on Athens (where she's from!).

Honeymoon stay @ Elea Resort

Enjoyable and wonderful

FANTASTIC

We splashed out for our 25th Anniversary and I wasn't disappointed. The hotel kindly gave us a bottle of locally produced wine which was absolutely lovely and we also had a glass of champagne on arrival. Had food delivered to the room and it was lovely. I don't think many use the pool bar so cant comment on this. We had room no. 1 and I felt like a princess with our own Jacuzzi infinity pool. Its definitely one of the best places to watch the sunset, especially dressed in a dressing gown and slippers with a glass of chilled wine, watching the crowds gathering for the best vantage point up above- oh heaven and I wish I was still there. Would DEFINATELY stay here again but husband would probably not allow me to stay in room 1 due to the cost lol. The complex is new and there is building work going on next door but I wasn't disturbed by it, there are a few construction teething issues on the complex that need to be sorted once the season is over like the floor covering to the concrete outside our room and settling cracks we noted in the walls. I wish I was in the infinity pool watching the donkeys jaunt up the road - talking about the road - no good if your disabled as its very very steep. Fantastic staff

Mixed feelings

The hotel itself (being brand new) was in great condition. Unfortunately the rooms were not cleaned very thoroughly (one day our bed wasn't made, on more than one occasion our tea and coffee cups were not changed, no clean face cloths for most of our week long stay). The hotel is at the bottom of a poorly lit hill on which wild dogs live. We would recommend hiring a car as we didn't feel very safe walking up and down the hill to town, especially at night.

Excellent new hotel. Only 4 months old. Breakfast on the patio is scrumptious and relaxing. Great pool facilities. Friendly staff. Willing to help you with your every desire. Super sunset vantage point looking out over sea. A cool welcoming champagne on arrival.
