Perfect location outside Anderson gate ( 8k). Lodge rooms are clean and have everything for an overnight. Breakfast and set evening meal provided as well. Nothing to fault

Great location very close to the Anderson Gate. Very nice service and good food for dinner and breakfast.

Great facility, all the predators were to see in the enclosures including the serval.The personal is very friendly and helpful and the family of the owner too.Wonderful swimmingpool. Into the Etosha parc it is only few minutes to drive.

Great location just 6km from Etosha’s Anderson Gate. Efficient check in and lovely spacious/clean bedrooms with effective air conditioning. The staff were wonderful, especially Belinda. The gardens are beautifully kept. Evening meals were nice with a small amount of choice. Would however suggest that they find a way of serving the vegetables and potatoes hot as they were cold on the 2 evenings we stayed there. However, this did not distract from a very comfortable and pleasant stay at the property.

Basic and spartan room. Low quality and poorly presented buffet. Terrible value for money. Not recommended.

choose a stay without captive animals

Close to Etosha gate. I'm not a fan of having wild animals in small enclosures as they do on the premises though, can't say anything about how they were treated though as I didn't visit.

Comfortable beds. Good location just outside Anderson gate. Great evening meal (we had half board). Really enjoyed the predator drive/walk.

Excellent Location For Etosha Main Gate

This guest farm is ideally situated minutes away from Etosha National Park. The host serves up a wonderful buffet every evening.

Convenient location

This accommodation is relatively pricy but only a few kilometres from the national wildlife reserve.

Good campsite

Nice camp spot. Great location, close to Etosha, and beautiful landscape. Staff was great, owner a bit intense, but would stay again.

Character Lodge close to the Etosha Anderson gate

Lovely lodge a few minutes drive from the Anderson gate. Really friendly and helpful staff. We stayed two nights and made an early start each day into the park. The food was great, simple but well cooked and great value. Loved the place.

Eldorado campsite

We spent two nights at the Eldorado camping. The Eldorado is very well located, really very close to the Etosha park. The camping itself has all the necessary commodities, very clean, and our campsite had nice well kept grass, perfect for our tent (much better than most of the sandy-dusty campsites in the area). We also enjoyed wonderful sunsets there :)

Not impressed

Self catering facilities not up to standard and cloths for washing dishes were old and dirty. We booked 3 rooms and 2 rooms had problems with drain system and 1 shower was just to clogged up for use

Best of Afrikaner hospitality

We stayed in brand new rooms; great African decor and feel. The whole place has the perfect farm setup ambience. Dining room with the huge stone braai, where the owner is busy with your meals. Super friendly hosts, efficient staff. Not enough praise for the food: home made zebra salami, smoked kudu fillet, boerewors, biltong, springbok pie, veggies grown in the garden (spinach cakes!!!), super fresh eggs...

Decent option if you stay outside of the park

Very close to the gate of the park. The stay and the staff was good. Meals were excellent in flavor. Dogs were playful and friendly. The family / owners seemed friendlier to some but not all guests.

Unsanitary.

I found the set up of the room to be very unsanitary. The room is made of cement with boulders in it. How do you ever wash those walls? The bathroom is separated from the room by only a 1/2 wall - it was like sleeping in your bathroom! The toilet lid had a chenille cover on with a matching little 1/2 mat in front of the toilet - disgusting. The coffee sugar, etc were in open containers, not individual sealed packages - again not sanitary. Lovely grounds, though and 10 minutes to the Anderson gate

Friendly interesting hotel

Staff were excellent. A bit rustic but good food & the tour of the predators kept on site was interesting.

Camping at Eldorado

It was a little lack luster given that other places around to stay. They did have the nicest ablution blocks of all the places we stayed in Namibia

Séjour au calme et à proximité du parc etosha

Séjour de 4 nuits à 10 kms du parc Etosha. Les chambres sont spacieuses mais sombres ainsi que la douche. Les repas du soir sont locales springbok impala oryx. Par notre le petit dejeuner est toujours le même pas variés. Cependant le séjour a été agréable et calme.

トイレとバスルームが部屋から完全に独立しておらず、２人や３人で泊まるとすべての音や臭いが部屋に届くので辛い。１人で宿泊するなら問題なし。部屋の壁が薄く、隣の部屋の声も聞こえる。

Schön und für kurzen Aufenthalt zweckdienlich. Feines Essen!

De accommodatie ligt een kleine 30 km voor de ingang van de Etosha wildpark en de weg daarnaar toe is goed. De lodges zijn eenvoudig ingericht en de douche en toilet zijn door middel van een muurtje netjes gescheiden van het slaapgedeelte. Het diner en ontbijt ware bij ons niet in de prijs inbegrepen maar was van goede kwaliteit en in ieder geval bovengemiddeld, Het personeel was eerst wat stug maar na een paar luchtige grapjes en met een beetje Nederlands hadden we toch ook hier leuk contact.

Etablissement très beau, chambre très agréable. Ferme tenue par une ancienne famille d'origine allemande. Mais nous nous sommes sentis mal à l'aise par rapport à la situation entre les propriétaires blancs de la ferme et les employés noirs. Le buffet n'était pas incroyable, trop gras pour nous. On nous a proposé de faire une activité pour voir des animaux la nuit, après le diner, et quand nous sommes retournés à l'accueil juste après avoir fini de diner (les gérants de la ferme étaient encore à table) on nous a dit qu'il était finalement trop tard pour y aller, nous repartions le lendemain matin...

Guesthouse sympathique et bien située

L’Eldorado B&B est un établissement où il fait bon se reposer après une excursion au Parc National d’Etosha. Situé à 9 kms de la porte sud, c’est une excellente alternative si les loges du parc sont complètes. Petit déjeuner buffet et dîner buffet également sont très bons et copieux. Accueil sympathique des propriétaires et du personnel. Chambres spacieuses et originales.

Goed verblijf

Prettige ontvangst. Verblijf op basis van selfcatering (diner). Was een elec 2 pits welke buiten onder overkapping stond en magnetron binnen. Je ontvangt een kist met pannen borden etc wat net voldoende is. Douche wc in half afgescheiden ruimte, niet de beste optie (privacy). Douche zelf prima. Ontbijt was goed. WiFi slecht (alleen in algemene deel complex). Zeer dicht bij Anderson gate.

Alles in allem war es gut. Wir haben uns jedoch daran gstört, dass die hunde auf den sofas bei der bar lieden

Chambre, restau et environnement très sympas.

C'est très convivial, les gens sont très accueillants. La chambre est bien dans un style rustique mais confortable, la nourriture très bonne. Rien à redire.

Insgesamt raumhaft schöne Anlage mit ordentlicher

Im Stil von amerik. Motels - arg Renovierungsbedürftig ( man hat damit schon angefangen ! ) Lage an den roten Sandsteinfelsen sehr schön - ebenfalls die Sunset - Runde ! Texte wurden mit dem System - s.o.bewertung - nicht korrekt aufgenommen - insgesamt doch sehr positiv !

Nice farm stay with big cats in the back garden...

The Eldorado proved a nice and cosy family-run guest farm, well situated just 5 minutes of driving from the Etosha Park's Andersson Gate. We had booked a package with pre-paid breakfast as well as dinner ... and really enjoyed the treat, including a varied choice of delicious local game. The room was nice with well-functioning aircon, fridge and wifi facilities. Guests having reported on the place further up in the log have commented on the room lay out having open toilet and shower amenities ... yes that may be different from other hotels, however we found it quite time saving getting through the morning rituals, and not in any way embarrassing. We will definitely make use of this place again, should our ways come past this exciting and impressive part of the world another time.

Unterkunft in der Nähe des Anderson-Gates

Self-Catering war schwierig, da 90 km bis zum nächsten Supermarkt. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war nicht so gut wie sonst im Land, ist wohl der Nähe zum Nationalpark geschuldet. Farmer hält selbst einige Wildtiere und bietet gegen üppige Gebühr eine Rundfahrt durch seine Gehege an. Lohnt sich aber.

Zimmer mit Kochmöglichkeit auf großer überdachter Terrasse - ideal, wenn man keine Übernachtung in der Etosha bekommt, da nur ca. 8 km von Anderson Gate entfernt - Frühstücks- und Abendessenbuffet möglich

Não gostei do tratamento que recebemos neste hotel. A equipe era totalmente despreparada. Eles nos forçaram a jantar as 19h alegando que o jantar iria esfriar sendo que na verdade eles queriam msm eram sair mais cedo do hotel. Isso foi muito chato pois a gente tinha acabado de chegar de um safari e queriamos um tempo para descansar. Foram até o quarto 2x, bateram na porta e insistiram. Uns verdadeiros chatos!

Gute Campsite in der Nähe von Etosha

Nur 10 min Fährt bis zum Anderson Gate von Etosha. Schattige Plätze auf Rasen mit Braai-Stand. Duschen und Toiletten sind sauber. Schön warmes Wasser, erhitzt durch einen Donkey, war ausreichend für alle Camper. Gute und günstige Alternative zu den staatlichen Campsites im Park. Ich würde wieder buchen. Die Geparden-Tour haben wir nicht gemacht, da uns dies etwas befremdlich vorkam. "Zoo in der Nähe von Etosha"???

Oprtuno...sin lujos.

Contentos con el camping en cuanto a localización y oportunidad. Nos permitió acceder a Ethosa al abrir el PN sin tener que madrugar mucho. Cumple , pero hay otros mejores. Su mayor ventaja es la cercanía al PN ytiene ofertas que a muchos les puede interesar tanto de visitas como oferta de platos de carne. No era nuestro caso.

Mooi

Heel mooi lodge bij de familie Hanel. De kamer was mooi, modern ingericht en lekker koel. De tuin was mooi aangelegd en goed onderhouden. Het eten was heerlijk en voldoende keus bij ontbijtbuffet. Game drive vanuit logde mogelijk. De familie zorgt er samen voor dat je er prettig kan verblijven.

Stayed 2 nights. Close to Anderson Gate. Good breakfast. Bring your own food as room has cookingfacilities. Pool ok but no sunbeds.

10 km vorm Parkeingang zu Etosha (Okaukuejo Seite) Freundliches Personal, Besitzer wirkt weniger interessiert. Gästefarm bietet Kaffee und Tee im Zimmer, Mikrowelle. Auf der Terrasse Möglichkeit zum Grillen. Gepflegte Anlage mit Möglichkeiten für Gepardenfütterung und geführter Farmrundfahrt. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis orientiert sich an namibischen Preisen für Unterkünfte in Nationalparknähe (nach europäischen Standards überteuert).

Super tolles Chalet

Super tolles Chalet mit Kühlschrank und Kochgelegenheit. Das familiengeführte Guest House hat uns positiv überrascht mit einer schönen grünen Anlage und sehr netten Mitarbeitern. Die Lodge hat eigene Tiere welche man im Etosha schwierig sieht wie Cheetah und Hyänen.
