Beautiful new property, location not that walkable to main tourist attractions but overall great stay.

Very clean and stylish property. Staff are very friendly, respectful and great service. Would love to stay here again next time.

Absolute favorite hotel

One of the most incredible hotels I have stayed in to date. The service was impeccable and no details were missed. Fabulous stay start to finish.

Amazing property

This hotel is amazing. The scent as you enter the lobby is stunning and the staff is friendly. The rooms are very spacious and well appointed. The downstairs bar has a cool vibe with excellent drinks. Breakfast is not to be missed especially the Thai menu items. I can’t say enough good things about this property. It spoiled me for all future travel.

One of the best hotel experiences

- Location is poor, not much around and no transportation. -Very noisy hotel, they made us pay to get an interior room that was smaller and not as nice as what we paid for. - The staff in their restaurant were passive aggressive. - The spa and massage service was a joke, we paid hundreds for their signature offering and requested heavy pressure only to be rubbed down with oil in an ice cold room.

Best hotel in Kyoto. We absolutely loved the hotel and thouroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotels breakfast is amazing and so is their bar. The comfort of the room and bed were great and the rooms are quite spacious

Fantastic modern Thai/Japanese hotel in center of Kyoto - friendly staff great spa facilities and good choice of restaurants. Superb hotel and another Dusit classic

Luxury in Kyoto

This is a beautiful luxurious hotel. Quiet, safe, plush and amazing staff. Great location.

Newly built hotel. Modern, clean, great facilities, including awesome restaurants. Nice rooms, especially nice shower and soaking tub. Would stay here again.

We had a really good stay ! Concierge can be more efficient They were very helpful but didn’t really know what to recommend and had difficulty booking things I find it challenging as I had to book most things online they were not able to do so Also take out coffee at the restaurant is way overpriced

Pretty new hotel, nicely designed, with good English speaking staffs( which is unusual in Japan). The street where it is located is very narrow and a little difficult to get taxi. Food is not delicious though.

Lovely hotel with very helpful staff. The only thing that lets it down is that the rooms are definitely not sound proofed and are quite close together. We could hear every noise, and the walls are so thin we could hear noise from other guests TV’s.

Food was horrible, restaurant staff was so confused and orders came out wrong. We got food poisoning during breakfast from the breakfast. The bar was 10/10 amazing

Beautiful hotel. They arranged some balloons to make our honeymoon special. We got ‘upgraded’ to a garden room for extra charge but room was the same size, with only the tiniest garden area. Not sure it was worth it. Standard room was just as nice. Gym and pool area quite nice and relaxing. Breakfast SUPERB. Location convenient-ish for Kyoto station but next time I’d probably prefer to stay closer to touristy areas like Pontocho alley. The only let down was the concierge service. We only got recommended options at the Kyoto station which were not what we were after for our first time in Kyoto. Also they refused to help us with a reservation, immediately, 1 minute after we checked out even though it was before check out time. This is shocking behaviour really. I’ve had more helpful service by airbnb hosts let alone a 5star hotel. Oh and I found the beef in the thai curry extremely tough and chewy so we decided not to dine at the hotel again. Overall, nice stay but doesn’t stand out.

Great

The rooms were average for a 5 star hotel. Kids are not allowed in the pool after 10am. This was pretty stupid and turned us off going back there.

Hotel definitely has upscale amenities. The breakfast and pool facilities is amazing. The only draw back is limited transportation to main areas around Kyoto.

Design very chic and I love the courtyard garden, room is very carefully considered and comfortable, convenient location and a lot of lovely diners around

This hotel was beautiful! The staff are so friendly and always welcoming. The daily house keeping and nightly checks were just so convenient and considerate. The design of the rooms and the property itself is just on another level. We loved everything about this place

Amazing service. Highly attentive staff. Clean hotel. Walkable to kyoto station. Great ramen spot a block down . Food was great . Pool was great. Not amazing views but everything else made up for it . Tv volume only went up to 30 but we called and they came and reprogrammed the TV so it went higher. No complaints here . Would definitely stay again . Highly recommend!

Stunning property,fabulous spacious and very comfortable rooms. People are very nice and helpful. Very happy we stayed there. The location is very central to all places.

The attention to every detail is meticulous in every sense. PIA Interiors are masters at creating an environment which captures the true culture of the space. The staff are amazing, food equally as amazing. I extended my stay for these reasons.

Very good service

This is a truly 6 star hotel. Not a single hiccup. Its just perfect in every sense and detail. Design is world class. All is just a jewel.
