Everything was fantastic at this hotel in the heart of Verona
A wonderful hotel. Friendly staff!
On first night in hotel it lost electricity on all floors above lobby from 8.30-10.30 pm approximately. On second day water was turned off in our bathroom and loud repairs were made to adjacent bathroom lasting over an hour starting around 4 pm.
amazing 5 star hotel in the old town of Verona
The hotel location was great and the staff was excellent. The rooms bed sheets and pillows were not comfortable at all
Fantastic property and excellent staff.
Too overpriced.
Good
verona
Verona and Hotel Due Torri were exceptional The only complaint is that I paid much more money for one nite, which was the current when making reservation. the rate at time of check in was half the price which the Hotel could not honor as it was booked on Hotel .com Will not be making that mistake again
This is by far the best Hotel in Verona. A true jewel and near everything. We will definitely stay here the next time we visit Verona. The staff is courteous and friendly and the breakfast is outstanding.....
I liked the area where the hotel is located
Excelente
It was the best hotel I have ever stayed. Very luxurious and the staff all around were very courteous, helpful and very friendly. It was great that the cleaning staff comes by in the evening to ask if anything is needed. The wait staff that serves the complimentary breakfast is very helpful as well. The hotel is quite historic and had a lot of charm and beautiful artwork.
Excellent Hotel
A star for Franco
Fantastic building and so much history. Franco wonderful and made us feel special. A mention for Piotr too who was on work experience and was very enthusiastic and helpful.
Very nice hotel! One of the best on my last trip!
Atmosphere is real traditional style. And location is so convenient.
20-30 minute drive from airport. Hotel arranged transfer for 50 euros. Good location in old part of town. Most attractions within easy walking distance (15 min). Multiple restaurants within 10 min walk. Staff pleasant and really helpful. Hotel spotless and well maintained. Room was bright and well lit.
Great location center of town. History . Easy and classy
The hotel was very well located to the restaurants, the coliseum, the bridge and all the tourists attractions. I will go back and stay longer at the hotel. The staff was excellent and referred us to a very good restaurant. I highly recommend the Due Torri Hotel anyone who wants to stay in Verona
I consider myself well traveled and I must tell you (I rarely leave reviews) that this hotel is a definite cut above. It’s not any one thing that stands out - it’s just everything is right. The overall feel, the room vibe and amenities, the food, and Christopher at the front desk! Thank you for making our way too short stay so much better. I highly recommend this place as a base in Verona. We had rain so we will definitely be back!
Incredible
Our stay was incredible. The staff were so helpful, courteous, and genuine. The history behind the hotel was fascinating, as it had previously been a castle. The rooms were beautiful with luxurious bedding and towels. We had an absolutely wonderful experience, and highly recommend Due Torre.
Perfect location to access all Verona
We had a great stay for 3 days, location was ideal to walk to all the wonderful sites in the city. There were a raft of good family run restaurants and the hotel staff did a great job of recommending some to suit us, away from the beaten track.
Romeo is fake
This is one of the nicest hotels on the planet in one of the most beautiful cities next to one of the most beautiful churches. Napolean invaded here and Romeo and Juliet is a fake news
Lovely Traditional hotel in the heart of Verona
Traditional hotel with loads of character in an excellent location in the heart of lovely Verona. The spa with sauna and steam room are a wonderful touch. Will definitely stay here again. The hotel restaurant is fantastic.
Very nice
Lovely old world elegance. Great service, fantastic location.
great property and very convient
Wonderful hotel Grande tour of europe quality
Everything was great unfortunately I left something behind in the room and it was not turned in by housekeeping and is now “lost” on me for leaving it but would have expected it to be turned in, bank card, cash and international drivers license. Phoned the hotel, explained, no call back
It was a fine hotel with great staff.
Lovely room and super friendly and helpful staff. Arrived at 12pm and room was available which was great. Great hotel!
Good location but not 5 star quality
We stay at Due Torri whenever we are in Verona and five times over the past five years including over the last two weeks. Wonderful hotel, fabulous location, incredibly helpful and friendly staff, absolutely amazing rooftop bar is tranquil and offers unparalleled views of the city. Superb location five minute walk from the Arena and all shopping. Wouldn’t stay anyplace else in Verona.
We lived the location next to the beautiful Santa Anastasia church, the amazing view from the rooftop terrace bar and the great service from all the Hotel Due Torri staff.
Loved everything about the hotel
AC could have been better. Sheets could have been softer
location, friendly staffs and very helpful..
Will definitely book again
Beautiful hotel and great restaurant with fantastic service.
Will definitely book and go back
Beautiful historical property.
Highly recommended!!
I loved the Due Torri Hotel! It is a wonderful property in a fabulous, central location. The room was nicely decorated and well kept. It felt 'Old World' yet had the necessary modern conveniences. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Although the property is a bit on the old side. I thought the staff were incredible and served us very well. It was a wedding party so we had almost 80 guests staying there and everyone complemented the staff. The breakfast room could use some renovation and the breakfast options a little more extensive but very pleasant non the less. The gym needs to be expanded a bit as it gets crowded if more than 2 person are present. Otherwise a real pleasure of a hotel.
Beautiful Italian hotel
A traditional and luxurious Italian hotel in the heart of Verona. The hotel is right in the centre of Verona and is a short walk to the opera, shops, Hop On Hop Off bus and all the Verona tourist attractions. The rooftop bar and restaurant has the most amazing views of the city. We would definitely stay again if we were in Verona
Staff were lovely - helpful, friendly and efficient. The hotel itself felt a bit dated or old fashioned. It was, however, very well located and comfortable so may just be personal preference of environment preferred
Happy days
The hotel's situation was excellent and the staff were superb. Fully recomend for a stay in Verona.
Great property in the heart of Verona. And with valet parking! Old world style, new world bathrooms. Really lovely.
Perfect city location
Absolutely luxurious hotel and the roof terrace had incredible views over the city. The little touches (including the best macarons I’ve ever eaten) just made our stay.
Great stay, great location
The stay was amazing. The Due Torri staff was very polite and accommodating. We really liked that they had a small gym. The panoramic rooftop bar was also a nice surprise. We would recommend this hotel to others.
Beautiful hotel, great breakfast and rooftop bar. Turn down service too.
Great location, though this is a perfect example of star inflation. This is a nice 3 star hotel and nothing more. Couldn't find anything about this property that I would say is excellent and the staff doesn't go out of their way. The Breakfast food was terrible and the place lacked any vibe.
Excellent historic hotel in a great location with friendly and helpful staff.
Fantastic
Visiting beautiful Verona, and staying in magnificent Due Torri Hotel was great. We loved and enjoy the professional and friendly service, fantastic location and the cleanliness of hotel. We highly recommend Due Torri Hotel! Berkman family
Wonderful stay
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Our room was comfortable and had lots of space.
This Hotel has so much potential , but it needs an upgrade inside . It’s stuck between old tradition (which fits to this hotel) and the use of colours and lights which just don’t fit to it’s old pride
Amazing location and service
Very well located. Great staff. Comfortable bed. Big rooms (old fashioned style but in good conditions).
Excellent
This was some of the best service I have seen in any Hotel in the world - I have stayed in some of the most famous hotels. It was way better than W or similar supposed high standard hotels
I loved this hotel as soon as I walked in. The exceptional service of Giovanni who made my stay pleasurable and feel like home was wonderful. I definitely shall return and recommend to friends
Good hotel in Verona
Hotel has definitely seen better days, location is amazing, staff is very helpful.
My biggest beef is when the bar charged 7 euros for a bottle of tonic with my 12 euro gin. All else was great.
great location, loved the umbrellas for the rain. love the charm of the old keys, but it does leave some room for improvement regarding how many times to turn the key in the lock. Also, TOO HOT in my room and no way to turn off the heat. I had to have the window open the entire time, which let in all the car and street noise, I got no sleep.....
Pros: Location!!! Front desk provides excellent service, goes above and beyond to accommodate. Fantastic maid service, and high end linens. Excellent breakfast Cons: Terre was closed for the winter :( Room was small and dated, had a a bit of an old smell. Neutral: We haven't had a chance to eat the the property restaurant, but it looks great. Would love to return
Great location and lovely hotel with character. Evening meal was of good quality. Price of drinks at bar very high. No tea and coffee in rooms.
Good hotel in a quiet location. It is near the river and some lovely churches. The view from the roof terrace is lovely but quite expensive for tea for two. It is quite a walk to the main train station but you can take a taxi.
Luxury in Verona
Great hotel. Perfect location in the historic section. Front desk was very nice and accommodating. We did have an issue with the cleaning staff who were very noisy and slapped the vacuum cleaner against the woods floors repeatedly in adjacent rooms. This interrupted our sleep.
Great central location in Verona with a wonderful roof top bar & restaurant, well worth a visit.
Location perfect. Linens in room lovely, but room small for a deluxe. Dining terrace girgeou
it was right in the centre of Verona we could easily walk to see all the sights
The terrace is lovely and the location was great. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Location Clean Efficient service Excellent for guests with limited mobility
Disappointed
The hotel was well located and we went for the opera for two nights. They gave us a very good recommendation for dinner near the arena. Tre Marchetti was very good and they sang opera. Piano music at night was nice. However, our room got 1700 euros for two nights was tiny and warm. The breakfast was acceptable but having stayed at the Borremeas in Stresa and the Grand Tremezzo we were HIGHLY disappointed. It was more expensive than Borremeas and did not compare. Very clean and lovely lobby bar area. But to be fair it was very hot and no pool or garden made it worse.
Fantastic location and friendly staff. Quiet rooms and lovely roof top bar
The hotel is definitely not a 4 star as advertised. Also, we booked a double room but somehow the reservation was mixed up and showed only 1 person checking in instead of 2. Even though it was a double room they billed us an extra $30 euros. Not right. Will neve ruse Expedia again as this was a website error.
Very fancy. Room was impeccable. Breakfast was wonderful. Waiters and maids were top notch. The receptionist was cold and not friendly.
Location and tarrasse advertised in many places. Unfortunately, tarasse was closed during my stay. Very fast internet, one of the best in Italy.
Great location. Nice hotel and helpful staff, classic rooms a bit small. But overall a good place to stay.
Beautiful hotel full of old world charm. Staff very helpful, breakfast was excellent, would definitely stay here again. Perfect base in the heart of the old town.
All excellent Perfect customer service and all the staff was excellent
Very very old hotel in a very bad condition!!!!!!!😡
Amazing hotel! A classy jewel in Verona. Old concept but up to date.
Beautiful Hotel, Great Location
I spent three nights at the hotel during a business trip to Verona. My room was both beautiful and comfortable. It was relatively spacious for Italy and had everything I needed (including a small umbrella). The hotel is located on the Piazza Santa Anastasia adjacent to the Basillica. It is a short walk to the Piazza Erbe, the center of the ancient city. I enjoyed my stay very much and look forward to returning.
Great hotel in all respects: price, service quality and staff. Recommend to stay
My visit was very short, in around 4,00pm and out at 3,00am the next morning. Room was excelent.
Great hotel location for exploring the old part of the city.
Excellent location in the heart of the city. All staff were great and very customer focused. Good breakfast which was very substantial. The only downside is that the Wi-Fi didn't work very well...but it was an old building and we accepted it as part of the ambiance.
Overall great hotel in a great location. Couldn’t have asked for more.
Convenient location and friendly staff. Bathrooms small, rooms very comfortable but breakfast choices restricted
Quality hotel
Superb hotel very close to popular sites and plenty of eateries. Breakfast included gave lots of choice. Friendly and helpful staff make your stay more pleasurable.
Great traditional Hotel in the centre of Verona
Friendly staff. Really comfy bed and relaxed atmosphere
Fantastic hotel
The hotel is ideally situated for exploring Verona. The hotel is very grand and the staff are very helpful. Brilliant stay
Verona
A wonderful old fashioned hotel. Needs a bit of loving care.
Shower enclosure needs to go all the way across the bathtub, not just half way-Have to reset computer every 24 hours to get on line, which is very annoying-There should be a dedicated doorman at all times-There should be a dedicated concierge (there was no concierge)-Old-fashioned thermostat in room (cannot adjust temperature in room properly)
Breakfast is mediocre or worse-Shower enclosure in bathtub needs to go all the way across the bathtub, not half way- Should have large bars of soap in bathroom, not little round ones-Can only partially adjust temperature in the room-Room was never as cool as we would have liked-Should have a doorman whose only job is to open the hotel front door and be a doorman-Should have a dedicated concierge, whose only job is to be the concierge-Every one was pleasant, helpful and professional-
Overall very enjoyable - excellent location
Lovely hotel, however bathrooms far too small for price paid. Consdiering we complained about the room and spare rooms were available we should have been upgraded. Also should not charge extra for eggs at breakfast in a five star hotel. This is an expensive hotel peak season, so touches like these are important.
Beautiful history
What a beautifully historic hotel. This trip was short, so we didn’t stay long, but something to come back to. Easy walking to the city center and shopping, restaurants and entertainment.
Great location but needs updating.
The hotel is very dated and the rooms need updating. The first room they gave us was supposed to be smoking, but it smelled of heavy smoke so we had to move rooms. The air conditioning did not work very well and the sheets were very itchy and uncomfortable. We had been staying in 5 Star hotels previously, so we may have been a bit spoiled, but I would not return to this hotel.
Superb hotel in a prime location in Verona
Beautiful hotel. Although a five star hotel the staff could not do enough for you. Rooms were spotless and very comfortable. Restaurant was very pricey but the breakfasts were very good and the waiters were very well drilled and polite. Roof terrace was an extra bonus with beautiful views over Verona. Can't wait to go back.
It’s a very elegant and refined hotel with artworks on the walls and some antique decor. This is a true gem for everyone who likes art and history. Besides that the staff is very attentive, the room was a bit dark and no flowers like on the pictures but other than that all was perfect.
