Towels and shower were both very dirty and

Experience was great.

Our stay was Excellent, the hotel was very clean and welcoming. Our rooms were clean the beds were very comfortable and quite. The breakfast buffet was fresh and many items to choose from.

My child enjoy her self

Pretty good stay food was good and service was good.

I was on the first floor and the and the door that takes you in and out of the hotel kept opening and closing it was very noisy

Great location served by great people

Great location for a business conference at a neighboring venue and a quick hop from the airport. Everything you're looking for is a short driving distance (shops, home center, etc...) The staff is extremely polite and helpful and there was no issue during my stay. Some parts of the hotel show a little wear and tear (bathroom, elevators) but it's to be expected and not really a problem.

The toilet did not flush at all and also when attempting to flush water came flying out the one side approx 2-3ft spray out side and of course all over floor.

Nice Stay

We had a good stay. The room was good size and housekeeping relished and cleaned the room as needed. We were not told much about the property upon check-in which would have been helpful to know what was offered at the property. The vent in the bathroom was not the best which required the bathroom door to stay open during showering.

Good place to stay but it’s over price !!!

I booked my stay with my virtual card but upon arrival I was requested to pay my deposit by tapping only. I am new here and don’t have apple pay set up. I just had to sit in the lobby for hours and eventually left without being able to check in.

Great property!

Problem with dinner in the bar area. Waited over 15 min. to be recognized we were there. Dinner was good once we got it. Had similar problem getting breakfast. Nobody was in sight to pay for it. I was honest & went to check-in to add it to my bill.

Easy check in and excellent service. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed on Sep. 14 . When we checked in they charged me for the room again even though I had reserved and payed through Expedia when I booked it I even showed them the receipt that it had been paid. They were suppose to release my funds back and I have yet received anything. I keep calling and they keep sending me to a voicemail because the general manager is not in office. I did speak to someone on 9/20 and she said she was going to email me my receipt that they did in fact release my money back but I never got the email or my refund. All the back and forth makes me think they are going to scam me for double charging me and not give back my refund.

Great place to stay. We stayed for one night. Wish there was a microwave in the room for a quick snack. Lobby was beautiful. Staff were great.our bed was comfy. The water was hot which is a great perk! Would stay again.

Very good overall

Customer service was very helpful and easy access to everything.

I reserved a king bed but when I checked in they give me queen bed

AC was not working. Debris garbage, excessive amount, in hallways.

We were there for a concert and none of us could check in early, therefore at time of checkin the line s were huge.

Imagine my surprise when I scanned my key to my room & open the door to find someone sitting in front of the mirror putting on makeup. Had to go back down to front desk from 3rd floor to find out that person had housekeeping let them into our room! Then we had to get a new room, after standing in line for 30 minutes to check in. Then had to drag all of our belongings to the 6th floor to a new room. I was very upset that I was having to do all the running back & forth when someone else did something unacceptable.

While waiting for nearly 20 minutes to even check in, I began to notice the disconnect between procedures guests are advised on, and what they are. After I experienced that in real time, I attempted to bring this to management’s attention, but the gesture was entirely ignored. Horrible service, disorganized system, and no attempt to acknowledge how these shortfalls may affect the experience. Love me a Hilton - but this one represents horribly. I appreciate the reps who offered apologies when I answered their questions about how my stay was, and they were lovely. I get that this place is in transition - but state that somewhere, so patrons can understand why their experience may be a sub-standard one.

Excellent place to stay as always. Rooms and property clean and safe. Staff was very friendly. Beds were comfortable. Water pressure magnificent. Breakfast was good.

Parking and location was convenient. I reserved two queen beds, but Expedia booked me into one king and a sleeper sofa. Hotel was able to switch us to a room with two wueen beds. The room was very musty and the comfort on the bend was damp as if it hadn’t been dried- fortunately housekeeping was terrific in replacing the comforter. However, the carpet in the room was horribly sticky not something to walk on with bare feet- and the room continued to smell vey musty- we stayed out two booked nights but switched to another hotel fora third night. Again,staff was great, but the carpet in the room was awful and the musty smell made me think there were problems that were beyond general housekeeping- everything else was very clean and stocked.

Bathroom was not cleaned very well there was hair on the toilet. And we couldn't close the bathroom door. The pillows in the room were so flat it was like you didn't even have one.

Very friendly staff and clean hotel. Bed was hard and couldn’t get anyone to answer at the front desk in the morning. Tried both dialing 0 on the room phone and calling the hotel number from my cell phone several times. All in all would recommend.

My stay was amazing

The hotel was nice and clean and the beds where very comfortable

HORRIBLE mattresses, I checked out with back pain & insomnia! The AC was so loud and not consistent. Toilet didn’t work properly. The big floor lamp didn’t work. I will NEVER go back again or recommend it for anyone!

Was a good stay overall was hoping for a more warm feeling bar. Room was on the 5th floor not easy for a smoker but over all can’t complain

The hotel rooms need a little bit of updating, but the hotel itself is very nice. While we were there, there was a wedding reception in the lobby, which was kind of odd, but overall we had a great experience, and the staff was very friendly The food in the restaurant inside the hotel was absolutely delicious

Decent

The hotels appearance was great. There was ample parking and the rooms were adequate stocked, minus linen for the sofa-bed. They prompt deniers them to the room. The doubletree is known for their delicious cookies. For some strange reason, they were as hard as rocks, and the staff presented them anyway. Lastly there was a baby roach in the bathroom that evening. I was only there overnight, so hopefully it was isolated. A huge plus for me was the condition of the carpet throughout the hotel. It was fairly new and void of odor and stains.

our bed was very uncomfortable. did not realize our room was wheelchair accessible and need to be sure we check if the room is wheelchair room for future visits.

Check-in and accommodation at Doubletree does not disappoinment.

Outdated furniture. Not the same bathroom all the other doubletrees have.

None of the USB ports work and there’s 3 of them. When I checked in and went to my room, it looked like they just painted or stained the room door, but there was no sign of wet paint and I opened the door and was covered with paint.

The doubletree by Hilton was gorgeous! One of the most amazing lobbies I have ever seen with a wonderfully delicious breakfast in the morning! The beds were very comfortable but quite low to the ground which was a tad bit odd! All in all, I had a fabulous stay! Thank you so much to the amazing staff who made me feel so welcomed!

Nice peoperty. Room next door was up all nite. Kinda annoying. But not fault of hotel.

I arrived around 2:pm and it was very very bad weather but the front desk will not check me and my family in because????? No reason and we have been traveling from Indianapolis to Dearborn 5 hours in the bad snowy weather

It’s a bit remote , not possible to walk downtown, with limited restaurants and shops in the area .

Stayed for three nights and room wasn’t cleaned once. Had problems with key card opening the door.

I did not like the knock at 9 am when house keeping then keyed in as I was getting to the door. Check in was disorganized. The staff was amazingly kind and the room was nice.

Will Definitely Come Back!!!

Perfect accomodations , Great pool/hot tub, Great staff. Best of all was free shuttle from airport and short rides locally, This is my place whenever Im back in my old stompimg grounds! Only advice would be to be stricter on parents and coaches control of their youth teams staying there.

It’s a very clean property. I was impressed by the warmth welcome from everyone who works there. They want to help in any way they can. The director of security Imad was an amazing host. He makes sure every one is being helped. He went off his ways to help me find what I was looking for and waited for me until I found it. Awesome hotel with awesome staff. Will come again!!

Well upkept

The area was quiet and beautiful, not crowded so less traffic attached to highway, but somehow my GPS was not showing correct location of the Hotel Building, so move around sometime. I did not like Bathroom design, especially the bathing area, due to design there was water accumulation outside bath area and which was irritating.

It was okay. Hard to reach front desk and to get items like towels and extra bedsheets.

Check in time was starting at 3pm- we arrived at 2:50pm- room was still not ready at 5pm when we needed to leave to get to a Tigers game, very disappointed in that fact. Very slow check in and check out- too long of wait times even with 2 people ahead of us..

Well maintained property. Friendly staff who need more help on front desk. Had more at peak times but in morning check out, one staff alone managing customers & maintenance ppl by herself. She managed well but I question the safety & expediency with only one ?? A very nice property. Was their bfast options?

Extremely clean, excellent warm Doubletree cookies handed to us at the front desk. Water bottles in room. Spacious rooms, not all crammed in. The staff was the best part. From the front desk to the cleaning staff…they were all great!

The property grounds is well maintained, the hotel is very clean with a very nice ambiance. The rooms are not cleaned daily and the bathroom was very dirty when I checked in. I had to clean it myself as the housekeeper had left for the day.

I like the location. It needs remodeling.

The property is having a problem with moisture which is impacting the smell of the carpet in the hallway and some of the rooms.

The lobby was nice but the hotel is poorly managed. I got there at 7 pm and the hallways were full of dirty towels from house cleaning still. The elevator doors had giant dings. The vending machines were out of soda on two floors with a broken card reader on the third. Wiggly wall outlets from poor installation etc. I wouldn't complain about any of it if the hotel was $100 per night, but for what I paid? Not impressed. The only highlight was the nice young lady at the front desk when I checked in. She did her job very well.

Parking lot needed repaving but so does everything in Michigan

I think the property is too old, it doesnt smell good. The restaurant was open on a very limited hours of service. They didnt help us with the cleaning of the room. Overall disappointing.

My tube was flooding because the water wouldn’t go down the drain when I took a shower he first day I check in the hotel they had the front door block off so I had to walk like half mile to get to my room the peoples at the front desk wasn’t friendly or helpful

Pretty standard hotel, with friendly staff

Staff was pretty wonderful, room was clean, the bar poured drinkable drinks— the only thing was that every time we entered our room, we all got so stuffed up and it was hard to breathe, which made for not great sleep, and every time we left, we all could breathe again. It’s like they need to change all of the air filters in the hotel because there’s a ton of particulates in the air.

Was asked for a $100.00 damage deposit when i checked in. This hotel has seen much damage and needs renovations badly.

Property is clean, room was clean. Was not greeted while waiting to check in. 3 desks, not a counter so not sure where to check in. Offered cookies but I refused because this being my first time here not sure if I'm going to be charged for them since they charged me 100 for "incidentals".

Room air conditioning didn't work very well. Room was clean but there was a wet spot in the carpet in front of the refrigerator.

I reserved a room with two queen beds, and when I got there, they gave me a room with a king size bed. I asked for a cot, and they gave me a crib. My grown son slept on the chair. I was advised to not book, third-party bookings anymore, but straight through Hilton. Very disappointed!

I don't understand this is the second hotel that I've got to hotels.com it said it had free breakfast and it was not. Last time we stayed the same thing happened and they ran out of breakfast at 9:00 it was supposed to end at 10:00, and I had two children with me.. we specifically got this particular hotel and paid a little more for the jacuzzi in the pool and guess what jacuzzi in a pool didn't work. I mean it's ridiculous and when you say something they want you to tell them what you're going to do with the other pillow? Doesn't make sense does it that's what I think too, if something is written it so then it should be done and if it's not there should be some kind of compensation or gesture towards understanding this was messed up

The management never contacted me after being assaulted on the elevator at the hotel. The front desk guy took care of it. Poor security and management

It was fine, the costumer service was better last time.

We had a very pleasurable check in. The hotel was clean and nice. The bed was very comfortable. The room was missing an iron, a hairdryer and shampoo. I called for them and they never came from House keeping. I did run into a staff member in the hallway and was kindly provided with all of these. Overall very nice stay.

I didn’t like anything! This was a terrible stay, and I will never be back. No blankets, we were given a fitted sheet. The price was outrageous for the night. Kids were up screaming at 4am.

Manager put us in a quiet zone. No issues with guests but cleaning staff were super loud cleaning room next to our room. Talking super loud around 1am. Banging around. Indoor pool was unheated and couldn't swim. Maintenance issues noted as well.
