This hotel is really good for families (large rooms, comfy beds) also if you want to gather as a group. The hotel offers a “freetime-area” with tv room (incl. Netflix), board games, Outside area with basketball and toys for kids. What we loved most was the love for details (even toys for kids in breakfast room, sugar options such as xylit, decoration etc.). Hotel is in a calm area and offers space to relax (roof terrace, outdoor area, fitness room). We highly recommend staying there!!

Hotel did not keep to their word.

Unable to stay in the hotel due to covid19 travel restrictions. The Hotel originally said they would honor a postponement and re-booking. But, as time got closer to arrival and i advised them well in advance we could not arrive they refused to honor the original promise and refused to change or cancel my booking. So, not impressed and will seek alternatives when we go to the country again.

Lovely, out of city centre, hotel

Lovely hotel out of city centre, ideal if you have a car and do not want to spend a fortune. Basic but large and comfortable rooms, beautiful views on the garden and the surrounding hills, a good buffet breakfast.

Charming small hotel close to Graz

Very pleasant stay. We appreciated that our room was fully made up for our family, including all sheets, comforters, pillows on the pull out bed for the children. Extra towels were provided too. Very clean and nicely decorated hotel. There is an elevator in this hotel, though the button system is a bit unusual. Nice roof terrace for enjoying lovely views of the countryside. We enjoyed the morning buffet of delicious Austrian style breakfast foods (ham, cheese, breads, fruit, muesli, etc), although it was not included in our room fare.

Alles in Ordnung.

Die Zimmer sind sehr Zeitgemäß eingerichtet. Das Personal ist dort sehr freundlich und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wenn wir wieder nach Österreich fahren, buchen wir dort auch das selbe Hotel. Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt.

Wohlfühlaufenthalt im Marienhof Hotel Garni Graz

Wir haben uns im Marienhof sehr wohl gefühlt. wir wurden freundlich empfangen und jeden morgen mit einem leckeren Frühstück verwöhnt. Das Zimmer war großzügig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit schöner Aussicht ins Grazer Umland.

Limited parking space but friendly check in

They offer free parking inside the property but they’re very limited so you have to find a very limited parking space on the street. Breakfast could be better compared to other breakfast in Austria. Service was friendly and rooms are comfortable

Gute Lage zur Stadt Hotel mit dem Auto gut erreichbar

En blandet fornøjelse

Vi bookede opholdet som overnatning på vej til Kroatien og reserverede uden mulighed for at fortryde. Da vi ankom kl 20 om aftenen med sultne børn, så ville de ikke anerkende, at vi havde booket en overnatning med morgenmad eller den pris der var aftalt gennem Hotels.com og stod noget på hovedet uden forståelse for vores situation med trætte børn. Vi måtte selv ringe til Hotels.com og udrede trådene, og vi fandt også en løsning, men ikke takket være hotellet.

Prima ontbijt Goed personeel Kamer te eenvoudig. Bijv. Maar 1 stoel. Geen koelkastje. Gelukkig leuk dakterras. Fles water bij aankomst zou welkom zijn geweest

Schönes Hotel und eine hilfreiche Rezeption. Kostenloser Parkplatz direkt vor dem Hotel. Man hört aber auch etwas die Straße tagsüber. Nachts ist es still. Zwar kann man wohl zu Fuß die Innenstadt erkunden (+30min), einfacher ist es aber mit dem Auto kurz reinzufahren.

Gutes Hotel mit nettem Personal

Das Hotel, das hoteleigene Parkplätze kostenlos anbietet, befindet sich ein paar Kilometer vom Stadtzentrum entfernt und ist recht ruhig gelegen. Man gelangt mit einmal umsteigen per Bus (Haltestelle in der Nähe des Hotels, Fahrt alle 15 Minuten) innerhalb 20 Minuten ins Stadtzentrum und zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt. Das Hotel ist nicht groß, was das Ambiente wiederum gemütlich macht. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut, die Auswahl ebenfalls und der Raum ist freundlich gestaltet mit Blick ins Grüne. Das Personal des Hotels ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit, ebenso war es während unseres Aufenthaltes aufmerksam z.B. beim auffüllen des Frühstücksbuffets. Wir hatten ein Superior Zimmer, das zu dritt sowohl im Schlafzimmer wie auch im Bad ausreichend Platz bot. Das Zimmer selbst war ok in Bezug auf Mobiliar und Ambiente eher funktional, aber es fehlte etwas der Gemütlichkeitsaspekt.

Hotel etwas außerhalb des Stadtzentrums von Graz, Busverbindungen in fußläufiger Nähe. Gutes und ausreichendes Frühstück. Leider kein Restaurant im Hotel. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Schönes, großes Zimmer, auch das Sofa angenehm

Schönes hotel, nette und freu dich Mitarbeiter, das Zimmer war groß und super sauber, wir waren zu viert im Zimmer (4 Erwachsene) aber trotzdem war absolut genug Platz. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut, und das Frühstücksbuffet hält für jeden Geschmack etwas bereit.
